Generation NXT - NXT recap for February 3, 2026

Shawn Michaels meets with Robert Stone backstage and makes him the new Interim General Manager of NXT. (Ava's appearances on last week's episode were her last; as she did not renew her contract.)

Izzi Dame retains the NXT North American Women's Championship against Thea Hail and Lola Vice after Kelani Jordan shows up and attacks Lola vice before crushing Lola Vice's right hand with a ladder.

Backstage, Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair talk with Sol Ruca about Sol Ruca's time in the Royal Rumble when Zari shows up. Zaria, miffed that she was not at Royal Rumble with Sol Ruca, says she needs a win for herself and that it is her turn now.

Backstage, Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors meet in the trainer's room with Andre Chase. Uriah says he is not apologizing for taking a chance instead of waiting for one, then Arianna Grace, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Lexis show up and mock them. Dixon takes this as a challenge.

Tony D'Angelo makes his way to the ring. D'Angelo says it has been seven months since he got an opportunity to talk to the fans, and that he has some things to get off his chest. He says that the fans know his past in NXT and that he was a happy man a year ago who was surrounded by family, friends and people he could look in the eye and say that he has their back. D'Angelo says that this was all taken away from him, and that was the wake-up call he needed. He says that when you are good at what he is involved in, your life changes and you gain friends and family as well as a huge responsibility. He says that he needed to sit in a dark room and remember who he was on his own, and remember what he did before he came to NXT and remember what he did best: bouncing people's heads off the mat. D'Angelo says he returned to NXT the way that he did to keep people guessing and ensured that nobody knew anything, then says that this is a selfish business as well as a selfish time in NXT, which aligns exactly with his plans. He then says he has two reasons for coming back. One is punishing DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) for taking everything from him and taking everything from them in response. The other will be revealed when he is done with DarkState.

We hear from Shiloh Hill, who is studying other ladder matches for the one happening tonight. He also mentions what he knows about his opponents.

We hear from Jasper Troy, who says that destruction awaits for whoever wins the next Speed Championship Tournament.

Elio LaFleur beats Charlie Dempsey to advance in the WWE Speed Championship Tournament with just nine seconds left.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Joe Hendry, who admits that he is banged up after The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) and Keanu Carver both banged up, but he will not let bruised ribs keep him from the NXT Championship. He says his smile has hidden frustration because he has not become a champion, and he will continue to climb the ladder and give the fans a bigger reason to believe.

We see the accomplishments of current and recently former NXT stars in the Royal Rumble matches. Je'Von Evans is the iron man in the men's match with 40 minutes and 58 seconds (40:58) in the ring.

Daria Rae is seen in the front row before the next match.

The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) retain the Total Nonstop Action Knockouts World Tag Team Championships against Sol Ruca and Zaria after M shoves Zaria forward during a double-team Soul Snatcher, causing Sol Ruca to hit Zaria instead.

Backstage, "All Ego" Ethan Page meets with The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) and tells them to finish the job, then says he is done with Myles Borne. He also tells them to do whatever it takes to win, and to use their heads against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. Ethan then tells Jackson Drake not to rush into anything.

We see footage from before the show where Jaida Parker is attacked by Blake Monroe in front of fans. Security is forced to step in.

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Lexis King beat Chase University (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors). Afer the match, Uriah Connors walks away from Andre Chase and Kale Dixon and joins Arianna Grace, Stacks and Lexis King on the way to the back.

Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) is in the ring. Jacy asks the fans if they know what it feels like to have something only for it to be taken out from underneath at the last second. She talks about being in the women's Royal Rumble, and says that the match was going the way she dreamed it would go. She says that everything was perfect until Sol Ruca snuck up behind her, cheap shotted her and threw her over the top rope, taking her moment from her. Jacy says she has been carrying the women's division and that she was a better double champion than Sol Ruca was, then says that is time to kill the hype and defend the NXT Championship against Sol Ruca. Zaria shows up and says that Jacy sicking her "lap dogs" on her was not enough, then says that Sol Ruca has had plenty of opportunities and that Jacy should be worried about her ripping the NXT Women's Championship out of her hands. Jacy says that Zaria never gets any opportunities because Sol Ruca has proven herself and is loved by the fans while Zaria is only tolerated. Kendal Gray and Wren Sinclair show up and says it took all three members of Fatal Influence to beat her and wants to run it back with Jacy. Zaria tells Kendal to stay out of her way, but Kendal says she and Wren do not keep secrets from each other. Sol Ruca shows up and says everyone wants a shot at the Women's Championship, but Zaria says friends do not sneak off t. Jacy tells everyone to figure it out in their "weird little couples therapy," then Robert Stone shows up. He makes Sol Ruca and Zaria vs. Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey, with the person getting the pinfall for their team facing Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Kelani Jordan, who asks how Lola Vice is going to be able to knock anyone out again if she broke her right hand.

Backstage, Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey talk about their opportunity at the NXT Women's Championship. Charlie Dempsey, who is nearby, is met by Lexis King, Uriah Connors, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grace. Lexis King wants to know if Dempsey has given thought to what they have talked about.

Joe Hendry beats Ricky Saints, "Super" Sean Legacy, Dion Lennox, Jackson Drake, Shiloh Hill and Keanu Carver in a ladder match to win the vacant NXT Championship!

Raw Deal - Raw recap for February 3, 2025

"Main Event" Jey Uso heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Jey admits he does not know what to say (besides "Yeet") and says that he debuted almost fifteen years ago and tried to make a good living with his twin brother and carry on the family legacy, but the last few years have been whirlwind. He says he felt that he did not have what it takes to be a singles competitor, but tonight, he has it now, and that he had to work really hard to get to this position, and he thanks the fans and his family for the support every single week. Now that he is the Royal Rumble winner, he is heading to the main event and it is just him. Suddenly, Gunther heads to the ring. Gunther says he would congratulate Jey, but in reality, he is disappointed, as their possible matchup does not appeal to him and Jey could not even lace his boots. Gunther says he has made people believe he is barely holding on to his championship when he is really always in control, and this time, he refuses to do this with Jey again. Gunther asks Jey what it means to hold the World Heavyweight Championship, saying he is building a legacy to himself and that Jey does not add to that legacy. He says beating John Cena, CM Punk or Roman Reigns would add something to his legacy compared to Jey, who has everything to gain while he has everything to lose, and if Jey chooses him, he has to give himself something to gain in all this. Gunther states that if Jey chooses him, he will make every week hell, with WrestleMania being the most violent week the business will ever see, and that he will put him down like a diseased dog. He then tells Jey that he has options and that he should ocnsider them. Jey stops Gunther as he is about to leave and says he is tired of being told what he can and cannot be. He says he will talk with "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes at SmackDown, and that regardless of who he chooses, he will walk in a Royal Rumble and walk out as champion.

It is revealed that John Cena will be entering the Elimination Chamber match in March, as per footage from the Royal Rumble post-show, and earn his way to world championship gold from there.

Penta beats Ludwig Kaiser. After the match, Jackie Redmond interviews Penta in the ring. Before Penta can say much, Pete Dunne shows up, and that allows Ludwig Kaiser to attack Penta from behind.

Backstage, Finn Balor chews out Dominik Mysterio, blaming him for stealing his tag team title opportunity and getting JD McDonagh injured. Liv Morgan has to set things straight, and makes it known that Dominik got Finn Balor a shot at the Elimination Chamber match.

Charlotte Flair heads to the ring. After the commercial break, Charlotte admits that she missed the fans and says that last year sucked, and that up until last year, she thought she was unbreakable. She then admits last year broke her physically and mentally. As the fans boo her, Charlotte felt that her knee would never get better and that she fought every day to get back to WWE, then says that she still love the fans and that nothing changes the fact that she is the greatest WWE Superstar in the business. Charlotte tells the fans to boo her now, and says that as soon as she was able to punch her ticket, she knew she was going to win the Royal Rumble and go to WrestleMania. Suddenly, Rhea Ripley heads to the ring. Rhea Ripley says that she respects Charlotte Flair after going to war with her and asks Charlotte to pick her, because she beat her the last time they faced off. Charlotte reminds Rhea she won the first time they squared off. Rhea says she was "just a kid" back then, then Charlotte says that she has nothing but time and that she will go to NXT and SmackDown and see if Giulia and Tiffany Stratton inspire her, as she wants to feel inspired. She then says Rhea jumped the gun and got impatient, which tells her that she is still just a kid and that she will see her next week. Rhea says that proves Charlotte does not respect her like she respects Charlotte, and demands Charlotte pick her so she can beat respect into her.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Sami Zayn. Sami says it is difficult losing the rumble and that he felt this would be his year, but he still has a chance to punch his ticket to championship gold and he will have to go through CM Punk to do it. Suddenly, he notices "Main Event" Jey Uso, who tells Sami that he was not aiming for him. Sami tells Jey that he is proud of him and that this is his moment, and that he needs to go all the way. Jey leaves, then Karrion Kross shows up and asks Sami how it feels to see everyone else live out his dreams. Sami tells Kross that if they keep meeting up like this, they will have a problem, and Kross says he could be a problem any given second.

Backstage, Rhea Ripley runs into Iyo Sky. Iyo says that maybe she will see Rhea at WrestleMania, then Ivy is attacked by Liv Morgan. Rhea sees this and chases Liv Morgan away, but when she checks on Iyo, she is blindsided by Raquel Rodriguez.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) beat The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee). During the match, Logan Paul shows up to watch the match from ringside, and distracts The Latino World Order in the process. Near the end of the match, Logan Paul confronts Rey Mysterio, who shoves him with authority, and Logan soon attacks Rey behind the referee's back, allowing Kofi to hit Trouble in Paradise for the win.

It is announced that Roman Reigns will be out for the foreseeable future after what happened in the men's Royal Rumble.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik). Ivar says that JD McDonagh have earned their respect, then American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile) show up. Chad Gable chews them out for JD McDonagh being injured and says The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus) will get their titles, then Erik says that they know they can outwrestle them, but Ivar wants to know how they can fare in a fight. The War Raiders leave, then Chad Gable says he must leave to conquer the dark arts of lucha libre and that he wants to see championship gold when he gets back.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews General Manager Adam Pearce, who says that one more person has moved to Raw: "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. Suddenly, Bron Breakker shows up. He tells Adam Pearce to keep AJ Styles away from him, then wants to know what is next for him. Breakker offers to talk business with Pearce.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins gives credit where credit is due to "Main Event" Jey Uso for winning the Royal Rumble and says he love seeing good things happen to good people and people getting what they deserve. Rollins mentions CM Punk and Roman Reigns losing the Royal Rumble, and says that Roman may not make it to WrestleMania at all due to being out indefinitely with an injury. He says that Roman is hurt because he is the one who hurt him, then says Roman has done nothing but hurt those close to him for the last four years and that he would have done the same to him if given the chance. Rollins then admits that he too lost the Royal Rumble, but luckily for him, that is the past and there is a future as there are multiple paths to WrestleMania and he is going through the Elimination Chamber. He then says that Sami Zayn needs to take care of business tonight and qualify for the Elimination Chamber, then asks Sami Zayn to join him in the ring. Sami shows up and heads to the ring, then Rollins says that they go back a long way and that while they may not see eye-to-eye, he knows CM Punk is in Sami's future. Rollins says he hates Punk and that he knows how much Sami hates Punk, too. He says tonight is a fight for Sami's life and that Sami is levels above CM Punk for main event WrestleMania, and that he needs the best out of Sami because people like him deserve to be in the Chamber and that people like Punk do not deserve to be in the ring. Rollins tells Sami to put Punk's WrestleMania dreams in the dirt so he can face him in the Chamber.

CM Punk beats Sami Zayn in a men's Elimination Chamber qualifier. Punk and Sami shake hands after the match, then Sami is shoved into Punk by Kevin Owens. Owens then hits Sami with a package piledriver to end the show.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for February 3, 2000

Cactus Jack shows up to start tonight show, and he is accompanied by Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero. He has brought the "radicals" back not as members of the WWF, but as his guests, but he plans to change all that tonight. Earlier this week on Raw, they had Triple H in the middle of the ring flat on his back, and they chose to leave because the "radicals" are not after his blood; instead, they are after contracts. He says that to understand what is going on in their minds, you have to understand the mindset "down in Atlanta, Georgia," where they used to work in World Championship Wrestling. He says the mindset is "keep your mouth shut, check your pride at the door, and sit back and collect a big, fat paycheck." He then says that is not good enough for the four of them, as it is about more than a paycheck for them. Cactus Jack says they want to take on the best, and that the WWF is the only place to do it, as it is their desire to perform in front of the WWF fans and they knew that no matter how good they were, they were not quite old enough for WCW. Cactus Jack says they came to Raw with the testicular fortitude to take on the best, and he asks Triple H to show that same fortitude so they can have one hell of a contract signing. If he does not, then SmackDown will become a two-hour-long sit-down and they will continue to bore the American public. D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and Tori show up, and Triple H says that if he really felt like it, he would beat them all up and take them in the back himself, or he could snap his fingers and 20 armed security guards could walk to the ring, round them up, and throw them out of the building. He says they are all trespassing as they have not contract and do not belong, but they are out here as Cactus Jack wants to talk about competition and say DX is afraid of it. He then says Cactus Jack should know better than that, and that he should know DX thrives on competition. Stephanie says the "radicals" may have been hot shots where they came from, but in the WWF, they have to prove who they are to earn their stripes. She says their actions on Monday night prove they are not worthy of joining the WWF. They have assessed their skills, and while they are not bad, they are simply average. In the name of fairness, Triple H says that if they want to rise to the top, they will get their chance. Tonight, they will get a one-day try-out permit, and it will start with Malenko facing X-Pac. Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero will be in a tag team match with The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn), while Chris Benoit - who Triple H says was a big fish in a small pond carrying a shiny belt the las time he saw him - will get into the ring with Triple H, should it come to that. He says it will never get to that, as there are rules to the try-out. Contracts will be on the line, and if they can win two matches out of the three, the four of them will get their contracts. However, he says it will never get to him facing Benoit, as Malenko, Eddie and Saturn will be torn apart. Cactus Jack says that is fine, as all they need is one opportunity, but he knows how DX works. To make sure everything is on the up-and-up and that there is no interference, he will be watching from backstage with a 2x4 with barbed wire wrapped around it in his hands, and he begs Triple H to give him a reason to use it.

The Women's Division is seen arguing with Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, and Pat Patterson announces that one of the women has to draw straws to see who will face Harvey Wippleman for the WWF Women's Championship. Jacqueline draws the short straw and ges the match. This then leads to a fight between everyone, and Patterson and Brisco get dragged into it as referees try to restore order.

Kevin Kelly interviews The Rock. He tells Kevin Kelly to concern himself with the NFL, instant replay or his business, and that he should concern himself with a beverage. He tells Kevin Kelly to find a long, tall glass, fill it with ice, and fill it up with "Shut Up juice." He then grabs the microphone and congratulates Big Show for his whining, bitching and complaining his way into a match with him at No Way Out. He says Big Show may be seven feet tall and 500 lbs., but the one thing he does not have is the recognized symbol of greatness: the Brahma Bull. He says the Brahma Bull means that he is The People's Champion, and he tells Big Show that he will lay the smack down on his big fat candy ass at No Way Out. As for tonight's Triple Threat Match against Tazz and Kurt Angle, he says that the two of them going 2-on-1 with him will make both of their candy asses famous, and after all is said and done and after No Way Out, he is going to WrestleMania and become the best damn WWF Champion there ever was.

"Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry tells Mae Young that he has talked to the doctor again, and hands Mae Young some cream for the stretch marks. Mae Young wants Mark Henry to rub it on her belly. When Mae Young aks if it will help with her wrinkles, Mark says yes and says he has much more in the car.

Before the next match, Kurt Angle says a lot of people are angry and upset with him over suffering his first loss against The Rock. He says that it is okay, and that is why he is in this town, as Detroit, Michigan can relate to losing a lot. Whether it be factory jobs or last year's Stanley Cup, the people here have had their share of setbacks and losses. Unlike this town, however, he will bounce back, overcome adversity and become their champion once again.

Kurt Angle beats Tazz and The Rock in a Triple Threat Match. During the match, Big Show attacks The Rock after The Rock hits Angle with the Rock Bottom, and referee Teddy Long tries to stop him. Angle then rolls on top of Tazz to get the win. After the match, Big Show choke slams The Rock near the aisle, and referees and officials try to restore order.

In the locker room, Cactus Jack, Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero focus on Eddie and Saturn's tag team match. Eddie tells Saturn he has to focus.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) beat Eddie Guerrero and Perry Saturn after Eddie hurts his left arm during the top rope frog splash. Rikishi Phatu beats Big Show by disqualification. Before the next match. it is announced that Eddie Guerrero has been diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder and a possible fracture, and that he has been taken to the local Henry Ford Hospital. During the match, Rikishi kicks out of the choke slam, and Big Show responds by bringing a steel chair into the ring which he smashes into Rikishi's head. After the match, Grandmaster Sexy and Scotty 2 Hotty - whom Rikishi have asked to head to the back so he can take Big show on himself before the match - run into the ring, but Big Show makes quick work of them. Big Show grabs the steel chair again, but The Rock runs into the ring and hits Big Show with the steel chair before hitting the Rock Bottom. Afterwards, referees and officials try to restore order as The Rock takes the boots to Big Show before leaving.

Backstage, the rest of D-Generation X (X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), Tori and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley tells Triple H that Chris Benoit should be no problem for him after what they did to Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero.

"Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry and Mae Young are seen hugging and kicking, and what feels like Mae Young's baby kicking is just Mae Young needing to fart.

Triple H beats Chris Benoit. During the match, Benoit inadvertently slingshots Triple H into referee Earl Hebner, causing Hebner to go down when is sandwiched in the corner. He then goes for the Crippler Crossface, but Hebner is down as Triple H taps out. Benoit tries to get Hebner to come to, and when Triple H goes after Benoit, Benoit locks it in again. By the time Hebner comes to, Triple H is grabbing onto the bottom rope. After a top rope headbutt and near-fall from Benoit, Triple H hits a low blow followed by the Pedigree for the win.
