Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 3, 2022

Black Taurus beats Raj Singh in the BTI match.

Matt Cardona beats Jordynne Grace to become the Impact Digital Media Champion! During the match, Cardona tries to take the championship into the ring, but the referee takes it away. As the referee returns the championship, Cardona hits Jordynne in the head with a chair from the outside before hitting Radio Silence for the win.

Backstage, W. Morrissey is seen laying people out as he hunts down Moose. When he sees Brian Myers, Zicky Dice and VSK, he goes after them, and security has to stop him. After the commercial break, Scott D'Amore tells W. Morrissey that if he wants his hands on Brian Myers, then he can get him in a no-disqualification match. As for Moose, D'Amore tells him he is at the hotel and that he is not in the building tonight.

JONAH beats Crazzy Steve. After the match, JONAH goes for the Tsunami again, but Black Taurus and Rosemary stop him.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Matt Cardona, who says that he is now a world champion and tells Miller to ask Jonathan Gresham what it is like to be married to a loser when asked how Chelsea Green would react to how he won.

Backstage, Madison Rayne has to remind Kaleb with a K they were in a non-title match last week and that she will soon be a champion when Tennille Dashwood comes back. The IInspiration (Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee) then show up with a gift for Kaleb, and tell Kaleb to open the box when they leave. When he does, he finds a phone with The IInspiration on the screen.

Ian Riccaboni guests on commentary for the next match, and Cary Silkin watches the match from ringside.

Jonathan Gresham beats Steve Maclin when he refuses to listen to the referee's five count as he has Gresham in the ropes. After the match, Maclin attacks Gresham again. As Steve Maclin has Jonathan Gresham in a Boston Crab, Honor More runs in and lays out Maclin. Honor No More (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Vincent, PCO) then tries to get Gresham to join them in the ring while Vincent accosts Ian Riccaboni. As Gresham heads to the back, he has a brief staredown with "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, who heads to the ring for the next match.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander beats Vincent with the ankle lock after Rhino, Rich Swann and Chris Sabin stop Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and PCO from surrounding the ring. After the match, Kenny King - who has not been seen in Impact in several years - attacks Josh Alexander from behind before cementing himself as a member of Honor No More.

W. Morrissey finds Moose's hotel room and kicks it in before beating up Moose.

Backstage, Mike Bennett says that things are always changing. PCO reacts to the word "changing," and Bennett says that there is always someone waiting in the wings with a chip on their shoulder. Kenny King confirms he is part of Honor No More and that honor is as real in wrestling as it is in politics, and Vincent says that they have already lost everything and if Impact wants to fight them, they will roll out the red carpet.

Bhupinder Gujjar beats John Skyler in his Impact debut.

After the match, Raj Singh shows up to congratulate Gujjar, who simply walks away.

We see footage of Mickie James' appearance in the 2021 Women's Royal Rumble Match.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Mickie James. Mickie says he had high hopes of winning, but representing Impact as Knockouts World Champion made big history. Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans show up, and Tasha makes fun of Mickie James as she says she will become Knockouts World Champion at No Surrender. Mickie tells Tasha to wrestle half as well as she runs her mouth. When Savannah gets in Mickie's face, Chelsea Green shows up to defend Mickie, and Tasha leaves with Savannah as Tasha calls her "a non-factor." Mickie thanks Chelsea Green, then says that she knows Chelsea wants to wrestle her and that the fans would love to see them wrestle. Chelsea Green is ecstatic.

We see another vignette for "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw.

Masha Slamovich beats Kaci Lennox.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna says she does not need to listen to anything Mickie James has to say, for if it were not for her, Mickie wouldn't be in Impact, as she is the state of the Knockouts division. She says she does not need to belittle her colleagues and that all she needs is the ring an audience, and issues an open challenge for the ROH World Women's Championship or the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.

Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jay White, Chris Bey) beats "Inevitable" Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Jake Something following infighting between Jake Something and the team of Austin and Fulton. After the match, The Good Brothers and Violent By Design attack Bullet Club to end the show.
