Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 10, 2022

Lady Frost beats Alisha Edwards in the BTI match. After the match, "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw shows up and tries to upstage Lady Frost.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander heads to the ring. He says that he has talked about the Impact World Championship for the last few months, and that if anything matters more than the World title, it is Impact, as they gave him an opportunity when nobody else would. He also says there would be no Josh Alexander if it were not for Impact, then says he is ready and willing to go to war with Honor No More at No Surrender. Alexander then mentions the World title match between W. Morrissey and Moose and mentions the hypocrisy of his emotions being kept in check by management when Morrissey himself is out of control while he is trusted to fight for Impact but not for the World title. He then draws a line in the sand, saying that whoever wins the World title at No Surrender will see him at the other side and there will be nothing that stands in his way. Suddenly, Big Kon - formerly Konnor in WWE - shows up. Alexander and Big Kon have a staredown, then Alexander says Big Kon is only here to be an obstacle in his way and that he will have the match right here and right now. Alexander then calls for a referee, and the match is on. "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander quickly beats Big Kon with an ankle lock into a single leg crab, then refuses to release the hold after the bell rings. Security shows up, and Scott D'Amore runs in to stop Alexander only to get shoved. The crowd chants "You deserved it!" then D'Amore says he is not here to talk about emotions or the World title or to get shoved on his ass, but to reminisce a little bit. D'Amore says there is a lot of water under the bridge between them, then says that he saw him grow from a "wet-behind-the-ears kid" into a man, defy a career-ending injury and even get married. He then says that he hopes it is not deja vu all over again, as it has been three years since he signed a three-year contract, claimed he would become the future World Champion and did what he said he would do. When D'Amore asks Alexander what he wants, Alexander says he wants the coach and someone who cared to come back, as he does not want to be remembered as the shortest-reigning world title and sees his wife and child in tears when he sleeps at night. He says he wants to win the Impact World Championship for everyone he cares about and to prove that the road that he went through to get there was worth it, as well as to see the smile on his child's face. D'Amore says it will happen and that there is a process, but Alexander says he is done with the process and that he wants his World title rematch now or else he is gone. D'Amore takes him out of the match against Honor No More at No Surrender and sends him home, but Alexander says he is home in Impact Wrestling and that D'Amore will have to have him dragged out of the ring to get rid of him. D'Amore says he knows that Alexander can handle this professionally, then tells Alexander to say his goodbyes to the fans and to go home until he gets things straightened out.

Backstage, Steve Maclin meets with Scott D'Amore, saying he has unfinished business with Honor No More and wants to replace "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander at No Surrender, but D'Amore says Maclin is not well liked and that Team Impact (Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, Chris Sabin, Rhino) will pick Alexander's replacement.

"The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo retains the ROH Women's World Championship against Santana Garrett in an open challenge.

Backstage, Scott D'Amore meets with Team Impact (Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, Chris Sabin, Rhino), asking them to pick a replacement for Josh Alexander. Sabin proposes Jonathan Gresham, and D'Amore asks them to speak with Gresham first.

Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans guest on commentary for the next match.

Chelsea Green beats Mickie James by disqualification after Tasha Steelz confronts Chelsea and throws trash at her for using her cutter before Savannah Evans trips Chelsea off the apron.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Bhupinder Gujjar, who says being in Impact is his dream come true and after being champion in multiple contact sports, he has come to Impact to represent India and be the best. Raj Singh shows up, but Bhupinder Gujjar walks away from him.

Backstage, Kaleb with a K is met by The IInspiration (Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee) and have him take a picture of them with the phone they gifted her with. Kaleb reluctantly agrees to do so, then Madison Rayne shows up. The IInspiration leave, then Madison tells Kaleb that he works for The Influence (Tennille Dashwood and Madison Rayne) and tells him to delete the photo.

Bullet Club ("Switchblade" Jay White, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Chris Bey) head to the ring. Jay White says he is back and that he brought some friends with him, and Tonga Loa states that he and Tama Tonga are the future Impact World Tag Team Champions. Tonga Loa says he and Tama Tonga will beat The Good Brothers for the Impact World Tag Team Championships, and Jay White says The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) are big Bullet Club fans and Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner) are even bigger fans. As he talks about how The Good Brothers recruited Violent By Design, Violent By Design shows up and Eric Young says that they are what a real family looks like and that they do not cling to something created ten years ago that they did not even make. Eric Young says he lives in the present, not the past or the future, and that everything in Impact belongs to Violent By Design, not Bullet Club. Jay White says Bullet Club has owned all of wrestling for the last decade and is always on top, and that he understands Eric Young wants to create his own version of Bullet Club, but Eric Young is not him and Violent By Design is not Bullet Club. He then says that Eric Young will step in the ring and see what it is like to be in the ring with him, because it is his era. Eric Young says nine days is too long and that next week, he wants to teach him the lesson of a lifetime. Jay White says that since Bullet Club and Violent By Design are both here, they can do it right now. Suddenly, The Good Brothers show up. Anderson says he had to come out here because he finally has the Bullet Club in front of him to get the "thank you" that he deserves, and Gallows asks how hard it is to thank them for their success. Anderson then says "You're welcome" and demands a "thank you," but Tama Tonga thanks The Good Brothers for leaving the group and trying to re-create Bullet Club with no success. Gallows and Anderson say their tag team title reigns are what really matters and that they have been everywhere, but Tama Tonga says they are everywhere because they got fired from everywhere. He then says that one does not leave Bullet Club, and that when he and Tonga Loa win the Impact World Tag Team Championships, they will fire them officially from Bullet Club.

It is revealed that Jonathan Gresham has been laid out backstage.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Matt Cardona, who says he had an opportunity at the Impact World Championship and was screwed out of it, and says he had to do things differently in 2022 and win the Digital Media Championship. He says that if it were not for him, there would not be other wrestlers being influencers on the Internet. He says Jordynne Grace was his toughest opponent yet, then tells Jordynne to be ready in her rematch, for he is always ready.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett guests on commentary for the next match.

Honor No More (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) beat Rich Swann and Rhino after Maria Kanellis-Bennett throws powder into Rhino's eyes as he goes for the Gore. Cary Silkin is seen watching from ringside after the mid-match commercial break. After the match, Taven and Bennett double-team Rich Swann, then put their hands on Cary Silkin when he confronts them. Suddenly, Steve Maclin shows up and fights Bennett and Maclin, and when Bennett gets back in the ring, Rhino hits him with a Gore. Backstage, Slikin meets with Ian Riccaboni and Bobby Cruise when Maclin shows up. Riccaboni thanks Maclin, but Eddie Edwards and Chris Sabin are not trusting of him. Riccaboni has to convince Team Impact to change their minds, having known Maclin for over a decade, saying that he is not part of Honor No More and that they can trust him. Team Impact reluctantly welcome him to the team.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Gisele Shaw, who says she can't steal the spotlight because she owns it, and if Lady Frost has a problem with her, they can settle things next week and find out the spotlight has always belonged to her.

W. Morrissey beats Brian Myers in a no-disqualification match after powerbombing Myers into thumbtacks twice. After the match, Morrissey is attacked from behind by Moose, who chokes him with a chair that he then wraps around Morrissey's head before smacking another chair into it multiple times.
