Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for February 10, 2022

Amale beats Nina Samuels.

In footage from earlier today, A-Kid gives up on making Saxon Huxley more refined as he gets him to more politely enunciate the words "The rain in Spain stays mostly on the plain." When A-Kid leaves, Saxon Huxley gets it absolutely right, but when A-Kid comes back and asks him what he just said, Huxley goes back to being his more familiar, wild, rambunctious self.

Backstage, Noam Dar and Sha Samuels head to their locker room. When they get in, somebody sneaks in, steals the NXT UK Heritage Cup and barricades the door.

We see a video package of last week's main event between Blair Davenport and Meiko Satomura in a Japanese Street Fight for the NXT UK Women's Championship.

In footage from last week, Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter are met by Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven). Smith and Carter say they will be the next NXT UK Tag Team Champions, but Moustache Mountain proclaim that they will retain. Their match will happen in two weeks.

It's time for SPRNVA Sessions. Tonight's guest is Jordan Devlin, but Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) are hosting the show, and the NXT UK Heritage Cup is next to them, implying that one of the members of Gallus stole it and trapped Noam Dar and Sha Samuels in their locker room. The name of the show is changed to Gallus Boys On Talk, and Jordan Devlin says he is not in the mood for one of Gallus' wind-ups, but Mark Coffey gives Devlin his word that he will conduct their interview like a true professional before Wolfgang puts on a pair of Devlin's Ray-Ban sunglasses. He then asks Devlin what is next for him before cutting him off to prematurely end the segment, then Noam Dar and Sha Samuels show up wanting to know what has happened to their set. Sha Samuels gives Mark Coffey one chance to clean up the set and jog off before he slaps Gallus around, then Joe Coffey takes a Gallus selfie around the NXT UK Heritage Cup. Noam Dar tells Joe Coffey to take a picture and print it out while he can, because that is the closest he will get to a title while he is here. After Devlin leaves, Noam Dar tries to take the Heritage Cup, but Joe Coffey also grabs it and tells him to keep a tight grasp of the cup and enjoy his reign while it lasts.

In footage from earlier today, "Bomber" Dave Mastiff meets with Jack Starz. Starz says they could have last week, and says he wants them to be a team before saying he wants to be like Mastiff and wants his respect. Mastiff says he has to earn the respect - and the jacket - and Starz says he is willing to do that.

We hear from Kenny Williams, who talks about kids being afraid of thunderstorms and running and hiding before they stop and realize that they were afraid of noise. He says a thunderstorm rolls into town, makes a commotion and runs out of steam, which makes the nickname of Sam Gradwell so fun for him. He says Gradwell walks around NXT UK dying for attention, making a commotion and being unable to "last a crack" when he gets that attention. He says anyone can weather a storm, especially someone as resilient, ruthless and vile as him.

WrestleMania 38 is 51 days away.

A-Kid beats Saxon Huxley. Huxley shakes A-Kid's hand before he leaves.

Backstage, Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) clown around backstage, and Wolfgang and the Coffeys go in different directions. Wolfgang then gets attacked from behind with a chair by Jordan Devlin, who then takes the Ray-Bans off of Wolfgang's face.

In backstage footage from during the break, A-Kid says that the work he has done with Saxon Huxley has paid off, then Die Familie (Teoman, Rohan Raja, Charlie Dempsey) pass by. Dempsey stops to nod at A-Kid, and A-Kid nods back.

Next week: Jordan Devlin vs. Wolfgang! Kenny Williams vs. Sam Gradwell!

Nathan Frazer beats Teoman after Charlie Dempsey's interference attempt and Rohan Raja distracting the referee both fail.
