Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for November 28, 2017

Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Shane says that Lexington, Kentucky bleeds blue...but two Superstars do not. Those two are Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, as they have no respect for anyone on the roster, for his office or for the fans. He looked forward to firing them until General Manager Daniel Bryan had another idea: putting Owens and Sami in a lumberjack where everyone else would extract revenge. He hopes that Daniel would fire them both, but that didn't happen. Shane is sure that Daniel Bryan has his reasons, and brings in Daniel Bryan so he can explain them. Daniel Bryan shows up. He says he understands why Shane thinks Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn should be fired, but having been fired himself, he believes in second chances. He knows that Kevin and Sami made bad decisions, but reminds Shane has made some bad ones, too. Shane agrees with Daniel Bryan, as Kevin Owens has beaten his father mercilessly in the ring and that it was Sami who got involved in his Hell In A Cell Match before betraying the blue brand roster. Daniel Bryan says Kevin and Sami did what they did to get ahead and grab the brass ring. He sees their talent, and if they get fired, they will be on Raw. Shane then says they will be his sister's problem if that happens. Daniel Bryan says he took this job on the pretense that he would not be just his "yes" guy. He asks that if he wants someone who can see the talent of people on the roster, then he is Shane's guy. All he needs is for Shane to trust him so that when he leaves, he can trust his decisions. Shane trusts his decisions, and applauds him for putting Kevin Owens against Randy Orton tonight. He then adds to the idea, and proclaims that Sami Zayn is barred from ringside during the match, which will now be held under no-disqualification rules. Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon then shake hands.

Backstage, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn talk about what goes on every single week. They meet up with General Manager Daniel Bryan, and Sami says Daniel can't agree with Shane on banning him from ringside. Kevin says that Shane tried to fire him, and is now sending him to the gallows. Sami wants Daniel to sort this out, but he asks Sami who he is to make demands and says that they aren't the only ones trying to keep their jobs before saying "no," then "hell no."

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) guest on commentary for the next match...and Big E serves them pancakes and syrup.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) beat Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable.

Backstage, Charlotte Flair meets Naomi, who asks if she is ready for payback. Charlotte says Ruby Riot, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan thought they were clever last week, but they won't be this week. Backstage, Charlotte Flair meets Naomi, who asks if she is ready for payback. Charlotte says Ruby Riot, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan thought they were clever last week, but they won't be this week. Natalya says Liv, Ruby and Sarah may be big fish in a small pond, but they are at the bottom of the food chain here. Charlotte says that after tonight, nobody will remember their names.

The Bludgeon Brothers (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) are next!

The Bludgeon Brothers (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) quickly The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley). Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are now known simply as Harper and Rowan, respectively. The Hype Bros are interviewed by Dasha Fuentes after the match. Zack says a year ago, they were top contenders for the blue brand tag titles, but now the landscape has changed, and now they must change. Before he can explain how, Mojo Rawley attacks him from behind. As Mojo attacks Ryder, he tells him that The Hype Bros are dead. Referees have to stop Mojo's aggravated assault on Ryder.

Backstage, Dasha Fuentes interviews Mojo Rawley. When asked why he attacked Zack Ryder, he simply states "That's it. The landscape has changed."

Dasha Fuentes interviews Bobby Roode. He says that when Baron Corbin called him "absent-minded" last week, it was no accident. He says Corbin calls himself the alpha wolf, but he says there is someone smarter and better who will take away his United States title. When that happens, Corbin gets scared, holds on to the US title tightly, and lashes out at anybody who he considers a threat. Before he can say the threat is glorious, Corbin shows up and says if he thinks he is scared, he is delirious. Roode says if he really isn't scared, then there is only one way to prove it: defend the United States title here tonight. Corbin flatly says "no," and walks off.

Jinder Mahal attacks "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles before the next match can begin. Nevertheless, AJ Styles still wants to go through with the next match.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats The Singh Brothers (Sunil and Samir Singh) after hitting one of the Singh Brothers with a Styles Clash off the top rope down onto the other. After the match, a livid Jinder Mahal puts one of the Singhs in the Khalass. The crowd chants "You still suck!" as he does the same to the other Singh Brother.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. Ruby calls herself and her allies "The Riot Squad," and says they sent a message to the WWE Universe last week. They're not here to make friends or audition for Total Divas; they are here to turn the women's division upside down, and she has two dangerous women on her side. She calls Liv Morgan a firecracker who is about to explode at any moment, and Sarah Logan "the grittiest Southern belle [she] has ever met." Sarah Logan says she comes from a family of hunters. They set a trap, and Natalya, Naomi and Charlotte Flair fell for it. She hopes Natalya, Naomi and Charlotte are ready, for they are about to experience a riot.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) advertise WWEShop.com's post Cyber Monday T-Shirt sale.

The Riott Squad (Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan) beat Natalya, Charlotte Flair and Naomi. Ruby Riot's name is now spelled "Ruby Riott." During the match, Natalya leaves Charlotte and Naomi leaves high and dry, and the referee has to call for medical help for Naomi when she is battered against some steel steps. Naomi is taken out on a stretcher after the match.

Randy Orton is interviewed, but he just ignores the microphone and heads straight to the ring.

It's time for Fashion Files: Sawed. Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) are in a setting similar to the Saw movies, as are The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), and all four men are chained to walls. They suddenly see a tablet with a person saying they have made a mockery of the tag team division. The four of them have one minute to destroy the thing they love the most or else poisonous gas will fill the room. The head of Tully is seen between them all. Konnor destroy Tully's head to find a key. There is no time to free all four men, however, and Konnor and Viktor tell Breezango to free themselves. Breezango get out just before the gas hits The Ascension.

We look back to when Daniel Bryan and the fans occupied Raw in March 2014, courtesy of Snickers.

Kevin Owens beats Randy Orton in a no-disqualification match. During the match, Owens and Orton fight their way through the crowd and back onto the stage, and Sami Zayn attacks Orton on the stage with a steel chair despite being banned from ringside. Later on, Owens reverses an RKO into a chop block and hits the frog splash from the top rope to win.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for November 21, 2017

Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Shane says that SmackDown Live came up close, but just fell short. He says Stephanie will spin this any way she will, but SmackDown Live proved on Sunday that even in defeat, is anything but the B-show. He is proud of the blue brand's roster, saying they brought it. He says he is not only proud of them at Survivor Series, but each and every week as they bleed blue and deliver for the fans...all of them, except for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, whom he calls out. Owens and Sami show up. Owens says it must be tiring for Shane to start the show every week with a different excuse for why he fails, Sami asks what is harder: to come up with excuses or to man up and apologize when wrong. Owens then tells Shane he made a fatal mistake leaving them off Survivor Series, saying they can beat any team, especially The Shield and Raw's men's team. He also says either of them could - and would - beat Brock Lesnar. Owens then asks for the pleasantries to be skipped and demands Shane says he is sorry. Shane reminds Owens he is speaking to the Commissioner tonight, and tells Owens to shut his mouth for once in his life, as he and Sami have no respect for anybody, whether it be anyone in the back, the crowd or even himself. Sami agrees, obviously not caring. Shane then says two words to them. Owens and Sami say they cannot be fired as they are too important for the show, and Shane would be dumb to fire two future Hall of Famers. Owens says there is nobody who does not think that he and Sami are the top two Superstars in WWE. Shane says they are delusional, tells them the blue brand locker room hates their guts, and calls them the most self-absorbed, crazy maniacs to step in a WWE ring. Shane tells Owens to step forward, while he has two words for Sami Zayn. He says "You're," but before he can say the second word, General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up. Daniel Bryan tells Shane to put his personal feelings aside. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn cheer-lead for Daniel Bryan, but Daniel tells them to shut up. He also says he had to send Randy Orton home because he won't be held responsible to what he does to them, and mentions that The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) is furious with what they did, then puts them in a match with The New Day. Sami says this is unfair, but once again, Daniel Bryan tells him to shut up. He reminds Sami and Owens that the whole blue brand locker room hates their guts, and will be lining the ring during their match with The New Day, making their match tonight a Lumberjack Match.

Shelton Benjamin beats Jey Uso.

Backstage, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are talking to someone backstage, telling them that the powers that be will come after them next. That person is Baron Corbin, and even he can't stand them. He tells them to find someone a little more weak-minded. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn then come across Bobby Roode, and try to get him to join their side, asking if he wants to be like the rest of the locker room or different like them. Roode asks if they are out of their minds, reminding them they ruined his first Survivor Series Match and that he owes both of them a receipt.

Naomi is bummed out that SmackDown Live did not win Survivor Series, but she is happy that Charlotte Flair beat Alexa Bliss. Suddenly, Ruby Riot shows up...and Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan are with her. They attack Naomi, and tell her she has no glow. Becky Lynch runs in, but she does not fare any better. Sarah Logan smashes a door into Becky Lynch's gut, then referees show up to restore order.

Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan meet backstage. Shane commends Daniel Bryan on his lumberjack match and bringing in Ruby Riot, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan. He admits that Daniel Bryan's idea is better than his, and he expects Daniel to fire Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens before the night is over. He then heads to the hotel to kick his feet up before he does anything drastic.

The Bludgeon Brothers (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) debut tonight!

Tonight's Great Moment In WWE History is from March 2008, when "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair retired from WWE.

The Bludgeon Brothers (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) beat The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley).

Dasha Fuentes interviews Natalya. She says the only change that matters around here is the title change when she beats Charlotte Flair tonight. She says Charlotte is running wild, and gives her credit for beating her. She mocks "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair celebrating with Charlotte, then gives Charlotte credit for beating Alexa Bliss. She says that Charlotte thinks she is Wonder Woman, and she wonders which woman will knock her off her perch. After that, Ric will have something to cry about. Tonight, she plans to become SmackDown Women's Champion again...and forever.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up. AJ Styles says he tried at Survivor Series, but Brock Lesnar is every bit the beast we all thought he was. He mentions the congratulations for him holding his own, as well as Paul Heyman respecting his efforts, but you don't get trophies for second place in the WWE. When the match was over, however, he was not the one limping to the back, and reminds us that in the sequel to Rocky, "he wins." He then focuses on tonight. Styles says he is a little salty because somebody said they would take the WWE Championship from him on SmackDown live. He then calls Jinder Mahal out, daring him to take the title. Jinder Mahal appears, but on the TitanTron. He says he will come down to the ring when he wants to, and he is watching his match with Brock Lesnar repeatedly. He says AJ Styles took advantage of him two weeks ago. Had he won, he would be hailed right now as "The Beast Master." Styles asks Jinder if he realizes how stupid he sounds, and mentions that Jinder is still fresh after having Survivor Series off. Jinder insists he will have his title rematch when he wants it, then calls Styles a disgrace to SmackDown Live before invoking his rematch clause at Clash of Champions. Styles is then attacked from behind by The Singh Brothers (Sunil and Samir Singh) as he laughs. Styles quickly gets the other hands, however, and one of the brothers gets the Styles Clash.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn walk in on Aiden English singing about Rusev Day in front of Rusev. Sami says he and Owens would rather celebrate Rusev Day, and Owens says both parties get each other. Owens then says that the only people who do not get Rusev are The New Day, and Sami says to keep what they said in mind during their Lumberjack Match.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) advertise the Countdown To Black Friday on WWEShop.com.

Natalya beats Charlotte Flair by disqualification after Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan and Sarah Morgan come out from the crowd and attack Natalya. After the attack on Natalya, the threesome then focus on Charlotte Flair, surrounding the ring before going in for the kill. Charlotte Flair retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship.

Dasha Fuentes interviews General Manager Daniel Bryan. He has no comment when it comes to what happened during the SmackDown Women's Championship. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn show up and say the locker room is jealous of their success. When Sami Zayn says that firing him and Kevin Owens will be the biggest mistake he can make, Daniel Bryan simply says "Good luck, guys."

Next week: "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh) in a 2-on-1 handicap match! Fashion Files!

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) in a Lumberjack Match. During the match, Sami Zayn ducks a forearm by Baron Corbin, which nails Bobby Roode. This starts a brawl among the lumberjacks which heads to the back, and Sami Zayn slides into the ring to pin Kofi with a schoolboy pin. After the match, Kevin Owens escapes through the crowd after Big E confronts him only to be attacked by Rusev and Aiden English. Kofi takes out Rusev and English, but Owens escapes. Kofi hits English and Rusev from the top rope, but when Sami Zayn tries to escape, he gets nabbed by Xavier Woods, who drags him into the ring where he is ganged up on by The New Day before falling victim to a Midnight Hour. Backstage, Kevin Owens tells General Manager Daniel Bryan that he cannot fire him and Sami Zayn. He gets on his knees and begs not to be fired. Daniel says he was never going to fire them, as he recognizes his talent. Next week, Owens will face Randy Orton. Kevin Owens is ticked off about being in the match at first, but thanks Daniel Bryan.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for September 26, 2017

Kevin Owens shows up to start tonight's show. Owens says all he has heard about for weeks is Commissioner Shane McMahon, and wants to know where he is. He says he has been called a coward for attacking WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and not being on the show last week. Now he is standing in the center of the ring, and wants to know where Shane is. Owens begins to believe that maybe Shane is the coward, but says he knows better and says Shane is a smart man. Owens says he not only has respect for Vince, but he likes Vince, and knows Shane saw what he did to a man he respects and likes and says he will find out what he will do to someone he does not. Suddenly, Sami Zayn shows up and wants to know what is wrong with Owens, saying he has lost complete control. He says he knows what happens when Owens snaps, and says it never ends well, and says he is here against his better judgement, knowing Owens will cross a line he has never crossed before. Once Owens crosses that line, nothing will ever be the same for Owens. He asks Owens to quit while he's ahead. Owens tells Sami not to worry about him, because he's cool and that is for him to worry about. He then says Sami Zayn is only out here because he has outshined and eclipsed him like he has the last 15 years, much less in WWE. Owens runs down his WWE accomplishments thus far, and says all Sami has done is watch from the back just like he will at Hell In A Cell, where he will destroy Shane McMahon and make him regret signing him to SmackDown. If he hasn't gone too far yet, he will now. He then asks what Sami has done of any impact in WWE. Sami says he hasn't done much, but says Owens has cut every corner possible. Sami says he will do it his way: the right way. Sami admits he hasn't done much in WWE, then says the real difference between him and Owens is that when he looks in the mirror, he doesn't see a piece of trash staring back at him. General Manager Daniel Bryan shows up before it can get physical. D-Bry says Owens may be right. He says Shane is not here and does not know if he will be here at all. He says that might be better for him, and that somebody already wants to fight Owens. He then makes Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens official for later tonight.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles guests on commentary for the next match. As Baron Corbin is preoccupied with Styles, "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger dumps Corbin out of the ring before the match begins.

Baron Corbin beats "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger by count-out after splashing water into the face of "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and tossing Dillinger into him at ringside. Corbin asks Styles if he feels dumb, saying he knew he and Dillinger would work together, and that AJ Styles could never succeed at defending the United States title against him one-on-one. He then says he will not take any shortcuts or squander any opportunities. At Hell in a Cell, he will take the United States title.

Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers (Sunil and Samir Singh) are in the ring. Last week, Jinder Mahal says he may have went a little too far. The crowd chants for "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura. Jinder says he respects Nakamura, and says that this week, he will compliment him. By that, he means making fun of him again on the TitanTron by showing faces of him. Suddenly, one of the photos of Nakamura moves. It's real footage of Nakamura, who is looking at Jinder. Nakamura then tells him "This is the face of Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown Live." He then appears for real. Jinder sics the Singh Brothers on Nakamura, and Jinder takes advantage of the numbers game to get the upper hand. Nakamura get Jinder in the ring. The Singh Brothers try to stop the Kinshasa from happening, but it does not work and Nakamura manages to hit Jinder with it anyway.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) show up to watch the next match from the front row.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley). After the match, The Usos confront The New Day, saying they only belong on the sidelines. At Hell In A Cell, they will be 5-time tag team champions. Kofi says The Usos don't know who they are talking to, and say they talk big game for someone who just lost the blue brand's tag titles. Big E says they talk big game about "The Uso Penitentiary." Xavier Woods says this gives them an idea: a tag team title match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships in a Hell In A Cell Match.

It is time for Rusev's Pride of Bulgaria Celebration. Aiden English welcomes the mayor of Rusev's hometown for Rusev's Pride of Bulgaria Celebration, then welcomes Rusev. Aiden then sings the Bulgarian national anthem as Rusev shows up carrying a Bulgarian flag to the ring and placing it in a flag holder. The mayor honors Rusev by presenting the key to the city and proclaims today to be "Rusev Day." Rusev speaks to the mayor in Bulgarian, then takes the time to relive his win against Randy Orton from last week. He says that what we have just witnessed is "the law of the jungle." that Randy Orton was the Apex Predator, but a younger, hungrier animal ripped his fangs out. Rusev then says he has killed the legend of The Legend Killer, and that SmackDown Live is his jungle now. Aiden English then sings a song he has come up with for Rusev Day, which mocks Orton's theme...and earns him an RKO out of nowhere. After an RKO from out of nowhere to Aiden English, he hits another one on Rusev.

General Manager Daniel Bryan meets with Sami Zayn, who says Commissioner Shane McMahon is coming. He says Shane is coming after Kevin Owens. Sami asks Daniel Bryan to ask Shane not to get involved in his match with Owens tonight, saying that Shane has his opportunity. Daniel Bryan says he will talk to Shane.

Backstage, Randy Orton asks Renee Young to tell Rusev that if he wants to step in his jungle, he will see him at Hell In A Cell.

Carmella ties the leash on James Ellsworth's collar to a turnbuckle bolt before the next match.

Charlotte Flair beats Carmella, then Natalya shows up. Natalya says it is great that Charlotte's father "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is recovering so he can see his "overrated daughter" fail at Hell In A Cell.

We look back at the debut of John Cena against Kurt Angle in June 2002.

Next week on SmackDown Live: The Fashion Files returns!

The Undertaker arrives...but it is really Dolph Ziggler, trolling the fans once again. Ziggler says anyone can wear a Halloween costume, get in the ring and act like a zombie, but nobody can do what he does in the ring. Ziggler continues to speak. The lights go out. Suddenly, Bobby Roode shows up. Roode tells Ziggler he is an amazing in-ring competitor...and a hypocrite for saying he doesn't care what the fans think when he does. He goes on to say that the two of them are a lot alike. He says that if Ziggler says he is the greatest in-ring competitor in WWE, then he should back up those words by facing him at Hell In A Cell. Ziggler tells Roode that his entrance proves his point, and that he is everything wrong with the WWE. Ziggler says that if Roode wants a match with him at Hell In A Cell, he's on. Ziggler tries to mock The Undertaker's "Rest In Peace" phrase, but Roode stops him and says Hell In A Cell will be absolutely glorious.

Kevin Owens beats Sami Zayn due to referee stoppage after he powerbombs Sami Zayn into the ring apron. During the match, a cameraman backstage catches Commissioner Shane McMahon entering the building. After the match, referee Charles Robinson calls for medical help. As Sami is helped to the back, Kevin Owens gets up from the commentary table and runs Sami down, then grabs a steel chair. Shane runs out, but Owens throws a chair at him and retreats through the crowd.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for December 13, 2016

Tonight's show begins with Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan watching last week's main event. So is James Ellsworth, who is sick with a cold and sneezes on Daniel Bryan. As he is sick, his WWE World Championship title shot is postponed. Both Shane and Daniel want James to go home, which he does. Daniel then takes a palmful of hand sanitizer.

It's time for Miz TV with special guest AJ Styles. Styles jokes that James Ellsworth has come down with "chinfluenza," and says that sooner or later, he will destroy Ellsworth in the middle of the ring. When asked about having to defend the WWE Championship (formerly the WWE World Championship) against Ellsworth, he simply laughs before running down what he's done so far in WWE before saying he will destroy Ellsworth, and says he is the most prestigious champion on SmackDown Live right now. The Miz reminds him that he has yet to beat Ellsworth, and that he himself beat Dean Ambrose last week. Miz says that Styles has proclaimed that nobody on his level while saying that he himself is above it. Chairs are pushed to the side as they prepare to fight, then Dean Ambrose shows up followed by Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler says Miz and Styles can't beat matches without cheating, and accuses Miz of "hiding behind Maryse's skirt." The Miz gets in the ring only to get put out. Ambrose lays out Ziggler with Dirty Deeds, then Luke Harper suddenly appears in the ring and lays Ambrose out with a clothesline to end tonight's Miz TV.

AJ Styles shows up backstage, asking Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan for protection from everyone gunning for the WWE Championship. They then announce that there will be a Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match later tonight between Dean Ambrose, Dolph Zigger, The Miz and Luke Harper, with the winner getting a shot at the WWE Championship next week. If anyone not directly involved in the match - Maryse, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton or anyone else - interferes, that will lead to an elimination for the person they are assisting.

Nikki Bella guests on commentary before the next match.

Before the next match, Natalya tries to tell Nikki Bella that she did not attack her at Survivor Series, but Carmella shows up before she can do it.

Carmella beats Natalya with a roll-up as Natalya is distracted with Nikki Bella as she tells her she didn't attack her at Survivor Series.

John Cena returns to SmackDown Live in two weeks.

Apollo Crews chats with comedian Gabriel Iglesias when The Miz and Maryse tell them to shut up as Miz is mentally preparing for a movie role. Iglesias gets the last laugh, making fun of The Miz' fashion choices as well as his use of "au revoir."

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) win a tag team battle royal to become #1 contenders for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

We see a Baron Corbin vignette.

Before the next match, Alexa Bliss cuts off Greg Hamilton, says she doesn't do "charity cases" like Becky Lynch, and sucker punches Deonna Purrazzo, who is supposed to be her opponent tonight. Becky Lynch gets in the ring, wanting her rematch. She gets her rematch, but not tonight. As Alexa leaves the ring, Shane McMahon shows up and says that's not how things are done on SmackDown Live, and says the championship rematch is up next.

Becky Lynch beats Alexa Bliss by count-out when Alexa tweaks her knee and can't get back in the ring, but Alexa Bliss retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship. Becky Lynch gives Alexa another beatdown, and we find out that Alexa was faking it just to keep her title.

We get a behind-the-scenes look at the new USA original series Shooter, starring Randy Orton.

AJ Styles guests on commentary for the next match.

Dolph Ziggler beats Dean Ambrose, The Miz and Lue Harper in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match after The Miz keeps Ambrose from getting back in the ring, allowing Ziggler to hit a superkick for the win.

"The Outlandish" Rich Swann announces he will be taking on TJ Perkins tonight on 205 Live.

AJ Styes shows up on Talking Smack. Despite Dolph Ziggler winning a shot at the WWE Championship, James Ellsworth still has a title shot. Styles still considers all of Ellsworth's victories flukes, as Dean Ambrose has helped him every single time. AJ admits he doesn't know much about Luke Harper, and that nobody else really knows anything about him. He says that Dolph Ziggler is good, but not phenomenal like him. As for the status on his ankle, he's ready to go.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) appear on Talking Smack, where Jey Uso announces that he has an ankle injury. It is also mentioned that Zack Ryder may be injured as well, but it has not yet been confirmed. They believe that they have the best chance against The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Luke Harper), and argue that they might as well get a shot at the SmackDown tag titles.

Alexa Bliss appears on Talking Smack. She has not gotten with the trainer yet, and has no idea how her knee is doing as she has spent time trying to elevate it in the locker room. General Manager Daniel Bryan questions whether her knee is actually hurt, due to her kicking Becky Lynch with the bad leg. Alexa says she has to take care of herself, now that she is the locker room leader of the SmackDown Live Women's Division.

During the pre-show, Charly Caruso says that Nikki Bella is sharp and focused for her match against Alexa Bliss and is getting ready to take on that "East River rat" Carmella. Also, Miz TV is a go tonight with Dolph Ziggler as the special guest, and Bray Wyatt will be facing Kane tonight.

Kane beats Bray Wyatt by count-out after Randy Orton appears on the TitanTron, saying that he is viewing the world the way he sees it and that he will turn his world right-side up. After he dares Wyatt to "come catch his prey," Kane is back up and fights Wyatt again, but Wyatt leaves the ring.

Charly Caruso interviews Baron Corbin, who says that Jack Swagger is dumber than he looks if he thinks he can make waves, and if he's stupid enough to get in the ring with him, he'll leave him lying where he stands. Corbin runs into Swagger, who wants to see who the better man is between them. Corbin says he only does his talking in the ring, and Swagger says he's going to Daniel Bryan so he can "continue this conversation."

Bray Wyatt tells Randy Orton that his time is coming backstage.

Carmella guests on commentary for the next match.

Nikki Bella beats Alexa Bliss by disqualification after Carmella interferes in revenge for Nikki Bella tosses Alexa Bliss into her. Becky Lynch rushes in to even the odds, forcing Carmella and Alexa Bliss to retreat.

Carmella and Alexa Bliss beat Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella after Nikki chases Carmella to the back.

General Manager Daniel Bryan awards five contest winners - and breast cancer survivors - with honorary WWE SmackDown Women's Championships.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) beat The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch). The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) are seen at the top of the entrance ramp after the match.

It's time for Miz TV, and tonight's special guest is Dolph Ziggler. Miz tells Ziggler his career could be over, but it will not be forgotten. We see a video package of Dolph Ziggler's career that mocks more than celebrates, and after Miz opens his mouth, Ziggler threatens to slap the hell out of him. Ziggler says that he has had some magical moments, and says he put his career on the line as he can't just walk away and yet if he can't deliver, he doesn't belong here. At the same time, Miz says he's not done yet, and that he will deliver Sunday and that The Miz won't take his career from him...ever. Miz says he has something to brighten his spirit after he ends Ziggler's career on Sunday: Kenny and Mikey from the Spirit Squad. An angered Dolph gets in Miz's face asking if he wants to go, but he gets attacked by Kenny and Mikey. Kenny and Mikey end up eating a superkick, but Miz ducks out of the ring before he eats one, too.

Bray Wyatt is still stuck in the storage container.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella is official for No Mercy.

Jason Jordan beats Jey Uso with a surprise roll-up. After the match, Jimmy Uso attacks Chad Gable, and Jey Uso hits Jordan with a chop block when he confronts Jimmy. Jey is about to injure Jordan like he did Chad Gable when Heath Slater and Rhyno rush in and force The Usos to retreat.
