Generation NXT - NXT recap for November 11, 2025

WWE acknowledges Veterans' Day.

The Culling ( heads to the ring to start tonight's show. As the crowd chants "Tatum Tuesday," Tatum Paxley still cannot believe that she is NXT Women's Champion. She knows that if she wants things to stay that way, she must listen to her friends. Tatum admits she was so excited that she got carried away and cost her a match, then says Izzi Dame forgave her because that is what friends do. Izzi says The Culling want what is best for Tatum, and asks her to stop making irrational decisions and handing title shots to anyone who walks through the door. Tatum admits that everyone liked the Halloween Havoc wheel, but Izzi says the fans would love a fruit fly if it was placed in front of them. Izzi says that Tatum's opponents must earn a shot at her title, and that the more Tatum defends it, the more she risks losing it. She says that she must do what is best for herself and the title, then Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) shows up. Jacy says she knows the crossroads that Tatum is at and that Tatum must decide which kind of champion she must be, as she has worked so hard for so long and wants to prove that her win against Jacy was not a fluke. She says that Tatum wants to be a fighting champion because of that, then says Izzi is right about not giving opportunities to random people and giving opportunities to people who have deserved it. Izzi says that Jacy's words have no weight or relevance that she is no longer champion, but Jacy tells Izzi that she has no idea how to hold a champion and tells Tatum that she should decide how to be remembered as a champion before telling her to give her a title rematch. Tatum says she has to be smart and that she has to be more selective, which is what she is going to do. She then says that will be after New York City, and gives Jacy Jayne her title rematch, but tells her that it is her last one.

In backstage footage from earlier today, The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) meet with General Manager Ava, with Jackson Drake thanking Ava for letting him be at Gold Rush. "All Ego" Ethan Page, Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre show up and celebrate being a pair of double champions. Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre remind Ava not to mention Joe Hendry's name as Ava mentions their AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship match against Joe Hendry and Thea Hail at Gold Rush, and Ava asks Chelsea to have a match tonight. Chelsea is about to refuse when Ethan tells her it is in her benefit to do it.

Jasper Troy beats El Grande Americano to become the WWE Speed Champion! During the match, Rayo and Bravo get ejected from ringside when they stop Jasper Troy from using his chain, and on his way out, Bravo hands the weight for the mask to El Grande Americano. El Grande Americano tries to put the weight in his mask, but he fumbles it and gets caught. Jasper Troy then hits El Grande Americano with the Black Hole Slam for the win and his first championship in WWE.

Thea Hail summons Joe Hendry backstage by saying his name. Thea thanks Hendry for next week, but Hendry thanks Thea and says he could not have a better tag partner for next week. Thea thanks Hendry for the opportunity, then says she will take the fight to a former women's champion because she and the fans believe in Joe Hendry and everybody, including herself, believes in Thea Hail.

Backstage, "Super" Sean Legacy thanks General Manager Ava for the opportunity at Gold Rush when Zaria and Sol Ruca show up. Legacy hopes that Sol Ruca's rehab is going super before he leaves, then Sol Ruca finds out that she is cleared "as tolerated." Ava gives Sol Ruca the choice as to whether she wants to face Blake Monroe. Zaria does not want Sol Ruca to rush things, but Sol Ruca wants to face Blake Monroe next week. Ava says she is fine with this as long as Sol Ruca understands the risks.

Tatum is about to tell Saints something, but Izzi Dame pulls Tatum aside.

We hear from Blake Monroe, who talks to the darker part of herself regarding winning the NXT Women's North American Champion. Dark Blake says that power fades and slips through fingers, and asks how long the light will burn out. Blake says she will never lose her title, but Dark Blake tells her that the title is not truly hers until she beats Sol Ruca, who will take the title if she lets her, and that she must break her to keep the title. Dark Blake tells Blake to embrace her, and even though Blake does not want to be that kind of champion, Dark Blake says she will need her, as she shows up when she needs her most. Blake is reluctant, but Dark Blake says they need each other, saying she needs to be seen while Blake needs to be remembered. Blake agrees to the idea.

Backstage, Je'Von Evans gets a call from Leon Slater and says he will be in the Last Time is Now Tournament, and that he will make the announcement in the ring.

She talks about how she was "the TNA Knockout" and how the Knockouts title was synonymous with her while Kelani was flipping around in college. Jordynne says she has the chance to course correct an entire division and that Kelani will become collateral damage, and when she takes the Total Nonstop Action Knockouts title back, Kelani will only blame her.

Je'Von Evans is in the ring. He talks about being in the Last Time is Now Tournament, then admits he is nervous because he is facing a returning Gunther at Madison Square Garden at the age of 21. He then mentions that he and Leon Slater - who shows up virtually on the TitanTron - have an announcement for next Tuesday, where they have an opportunity for the NXT Tag Team Championships against DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin). Leon Slater says they have to get the tag team titles the only way they know how, and Je'Von Evans agree, saying that they make magic in the ring and will do so on Tuesday before the arena goes dark. DarkState show up in the crowd and brag about beating The Hardys and how they will beat Je'Von and Slater after they refused to take their beating at Bound for Glory. It is soon revealed that Slater is in the building, and they fight off DarkState with ease.

Backstage, Kelani Jordan meets with Trick Williams and tells him he was right about being lonely at the top as champion and that the only person she can count on is herself. Trick says that one has to be selfish and that he will beat Ricky Saints, then tells Kelani to be "Her."

We look back on John Cena's WWE debut.

Fallon Henley beats Skylar Raye (formerly known as Dani Sekelsky in LFG) to advance in the WWE Women's Speed Championship Tournament.

Backstage, we hear from Jasper Troy, who says that the Speed Championship is proof that he will shut everyone down and make them bend the knee. An enraged DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) shows up and state that they will beat Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater at Gold Rush.

Backstage, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) talks about their championship plans before Lainey Reid says she has something that she needs to do now that Fallon and Jacy are going to win championship gold again.

Gunther heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Gunther says that he does not look to the past and instead looks at what is in front of him, and in front of him is Damian Priest as his next championship challenger. As Gunther states that he has quite a bit to say about Priest, Priest heads to the ring. Priest tells Gunther to say what he has to say about him to his face, then predicts that Gunther will call him "street trash" and a bum who was not raised right by his parents and also had to scratch and claw while Gunther just waited for a phone call. He says that he understood why Gunther was seen as a killer and that he did not think he would be able to beat him, and had it not been for Finn Balor betraying him, Gunther would not be World Heavyweight Champion right now. He then says that Gunther's "killer" vibe started to fade when he won the title because he started to doubt himself, especially after he was pinned by Cody Rhodes. Gunther gets angry, and Priest says Gunther cannot speak due to his self-doubt and knowing he cannot beat him.Priest says "the killer is dead" because Gunther would have taken a swing at him by now, then says that if Gunther wants to take his shot, he can do it right now. He then says that if Gunther did take his shot right now, he would drop him in the ring right now. All of a sudden, Ludwig Kaiser shows up wanting to know what is going on, and says that it is Priest who is doubting Gunther and that Gunther has beaten Priest once already. Kaiser then tells Priest to get out of the ring right now and save himself, because the outcome of their their second match will be the same. Gunther interrupts by grabbing the microphone, but Kaiser says he will not let Priest trash talk him. Priest punches Kaiser and clotheslines him out of the ring, and Gunther leaves when Priest focuses on him again.

Kairi then says that they have other business tonight, then Dakota Kai suddenly returns after three months and says nobody will stop them, including Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler), who injured her. Dakota then says that Damage CTRL will show what they are truly made of.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston is met by R-Truth, and Kofi thanks them for a few weeks and apologizes for not having his back afterwards due to Xavier Woods not letting him get involved. Xavier Woods, who has overheard, makes his way into the conversation. Pete Dunne shows up and confronts R-Truth for calling him Butch, and Kofi tells Pete Dunne to take a chill pill, much to Woods' frustration. This leads to a match between Kofi and Dunne, and R-Truth wishes Kofi good luck against Dunne, as "it's Butch you gotta worry about."

Dominik mentions what happened in last week's Fatal 4-Way Match and asks where Finn was, then says he has beaten Damian Priest and has gotten closer to the World Heavyweight Championship than Finn has gone in a long time. Dominik and Finn almost come to blows before Finn tells him and Carlito to take care of The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik).

We hear from Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Jade says they will take Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez down like all their other opponents before daring them to shoot their shot.

UFC Light Heavyweight fighter Jamahal Hill is in the front row.

"Big" Bronson Reed heads to the ring. Bronson says he is out here to say that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins was "one hell of a competitor" at Crown Jewel, then says he is not a competitor; he is a monster, and last week, he took him, Sheamus, and Damian Priest out and will do the same to anyone else who gets in the way of putting Rollins down for good. Bronson then says that if Rollins wants his revenge, all he has to do is get in the ring. Rollins shows up as if on cue, then rushes to the ring and brawls with Bronson. The brawl soon makes its way to the outside and into the timekeeper's area as Rollins dives onto Bronson and security has to hold both men back, and Bronson fights off security just to get back at Rollins. Security eventually gets both men apart in the ring, but Rollins slips out of the ring and gets to Bronson at the ring apron. Bronson fights his way out of security's grasp, then levels security with a tope suicida before he and Rollins brawl again. General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with more officials to hold both men back.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bron Breakker, who says that he is in an interesting point in his career and looking to expand his trophy case. He says that the Speed Championship would be around his waist if it were not for Sheamus. Sheamus shows up and says he has been in WWE for fifteen years while Breakker has been in WWE for fifteen minute, and that Breakker has a lot of momentum and the arrogance that he had when he had his foot on John Cena's chest. He then wants to know if Breakker has the guts to put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against him next week, and Breakker says he would love nothing more than to kick his old ass. Sheamus says his old ass is still going and stronger than ever, then tells him to shine the belt up real nice because he is taking it home. Sheamus leaves, then Jimmy Uso meets with Bron Breakker.

Backstage, The Miz is met by The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar). The Miz says he is done and that what is going on with The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross) is bigger than all of them and that he is a better man who has changed his ways. He says that both he and Wyatt Sicks have moved on, and so should Karrion Kross. Kross says that Paul Ellering was taken out by them and blames The Miz for it before they force The Miz into the ring. Karrion says The Miz is lying to him and that his story is not adding up, then wants to know where The Wyatt Sicks is. The Wyatt Sicks soon teleport onto the ring apron and confront The Final Testament, then The Miz hits Erick Rowan in the back with a chair. Uncle Howdy laughs, and The Miz and The Final Testament brawl with The Wyatt Sicks and come out on top. The Miz and Karrion Kross the celebrate in the ring.

Solo says they both cannot stand Roman Reigns and that they should team up and take him out, but Rollins tells Solo something he did not tell Sami, which is that he will stomp Roman's head into the ground when they are in the ring again, as he will never team with Roman. Rollins then states that he will also never team with "a wanna-be Roman Reigns." Solo holds Jacob Fatu back as Rollins leaves.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez after Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton go after Bianca and Jade only to have their efforts thwarted by Naomi, which leads to Bianca, Jade and Naomi having to deal with Liv, Raquel, Nia and Tiffany all at once until Jade is able to kick Liv out of the air so that Bianca can hit Liv with the K.O.D. to retain. After the match, Nia Jax attacks Jade and Bianca, then Iyo Sky shows up and fights Nia and Tiffany. Raquel gets in the ring, and Iyo ducks as Jade and Bianca send her out of the ring. He also says that Suzuki is in action, and that Alexander can use the match to scout Suzuki.

Myers calls last week the most embarrassing loss of his career, but "Outlandish" Zicky Dice says he made a lot of money off that loss and VSK says he beat Sam Beale on his own two weeks ago. Zicky Dice gets slapped twice. Brian Myers then challenges Sam Beale, whom he calls the worst student he has ever had, to a one-on-one match next week, and says that Sam Beale is a dead man.

Backstage, we hear from Heath and Rhino. Heath says the last year has been rough, but he has busted his tail to come back at Bound For Glory, reunite with Rhino and beat Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner). He thought that would be the end of it, but there is still tension. He then says that Rhino got his voice back, and Rhino says it is still so raw to him and that the last year seemed to happen to someone else. He says that there is a poison in his mind and soul and Eric Young put it there, and that with Heath's help, he can purge it. He says that at Turning Point, he and Heath will purge that poison when he tears Violent By Design in half.

Backstage, we hear from The IInspiration (Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee). McKay says The Undead Bridesmaids (Kimber Lee and Brandi Lauren) had one job, and Lee says that if they can't get a simple task done, then they will have to take them out of their tag team division next week.

Scott D'Amore shows up, and after Trey Miguel proposes putting Maclin in the X Division Championship match at Turning Point, D'Amore puts Maclin in a match against Laredo Kid next week. If Maclin wins, the X Division Championsip match at Turning Point is a three-way match. D'Amore then tells Maclin to stop interfering in stuff that doesn't involve him if he loses.

We hear from Sam Beale, Rich Swann and Willie Mack. Sam says he was the first student under Brian Myers' learning tree, which he says meant everything to him. He says that next week, they come face to face, and while it is one thing to refer to all of Myers' knowledge, it is another thing to have that knowledge nowhere in sight. He says having nothing to refer to is the real challenge. Beale says that last week, he beat Myers, and that it could have gone the other way. He says he has seen Myers up close and personal and knows how good he truly is, and the challenges that come with their matches. Sam Beale says he has to take on Myers on his own and prove he can stand on his own two feet, and when he comes to the ring, all he brings is what Myers taught him and that it may be him who teaches Myers the lesson.

In backstage footage from last week, Rohit Raju and Raj Singh meet up with Rocky Romero. Rohit says that Romero's experience carries weight, but he cannot walk into his house without wiping his feet and just get an X Division title shot when he has went through so much to get to where he is. He says that the last time Team Taz saw him, he was splatterd on the top of his car, and tells him tos tay in his seat and stay away in the ring or else his head will be put out again. He also tells him to call Cody Rhodes and let him know the same thing, because if Cody crosses paths with Team Taz again, he will get his ass kicked. He then says that Brian Cage is about to wrestle Matt Sydal, whom he says is capable of respect unlike Darby Allin. He says that Sydal and Allin have a lot in common, including holding victories over mega-stars, and says that both Cage and Sydal are no joke. Taz then guests on commentary for the next match.

After the match, "Absolute" Ricky Starks announces that he and Cage are officially ranked, and that they will put anyone who gets in their way in the grave as they go for the AEW TNT Championship.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes shows up. Cody congratulates Darby Allin on beating him for the AEW TNT Championship, and that he and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson will not be seeking a rematch at this time as he wants to vindicate himself for his loss with MJF. Suddenly, a woman in red shows up, takes the microphone from Cody's hand, and asks how he can lie to the fans. She introduces herself as Jade Cargill, and says she has been sitting on the sidelines for week studying the competition while Cody called himself "a giant killer." She asks Cody what he knows about giants when there is nothing giant about him, and says she knows a real giant and that slick statements like Cody's are an echo loud enough to wake him. Jade tells Cody to "keep that shit to [himself]" the next time he wants to think out loud, and warns him that she is nothing to play with. Jade then congratulates Cody on regaining the Rhodes name, then says Cody did not have the balls to go by one name before saying that the giant he was talking about is the real star before identifying that giant as Shaquille O'Neal. Suddenly, Brandi Rhodes shows up and asks Jade "Who the hell told you it was open mic night, bitch?" before warning her not to even look at Cody again and to get her "ratchet triflin' ass" off the stage and not to return unless she sends for her. As Jade leaves, she turns around and taps Brandi on the rear, causing Jerry Lynn to stand between Brandi and Jade before it gets physical between them. Suddenly, "The Machine" Brian Cage sneaks up on Cody from behind and powerbombs him, and "Absolute" Ricky Starks and Taz show up before Darby Allin - wearing a jacket with thumbtacks all over it - makes his way to the ring and takes out Starks. As they do, Will Hobbs shows up and scares them off with a steel chair before getting in the ring with Cody and Darby.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Jon Moxley. Moxley says he realized he could not say "I quit" at Full Gear, and that when he came to AEW, he just wanted to beat people up. At Full Gear, however, he realized the AEW World Championship represents the fans and that he cannot quit regardless of the challenges ahead. He says he has a big challenge ahead in the form of Kenny Omega, who he has beaten once before and can beat again, for he is the best wrestler on the planet, and if anyone can beat Omega twice, it is him. He wishes Omega luck, then leaves.

He says he came into this with very little respect for Guevara, but Guevara has since earned his respect. He brings out the rest of The Inner Circle, but Sammy Guevara does not show up with Santana, Ortiz and Jake Hager due to The Elite Deletion. Jericho then introduces MJF and Wardlow, who enter the ring. MJF says it has been a long and hard road to get here, and that when he started five years ago, his father gave him a small loan of a million dollars and brought him into the world cold and alone, but he made it work. He says there is a lot of pressure being a rating ruler at 24 years of age that everyone else could never handle, but he is glad to have that pressure as it made him into the diamond the fans see today. He then recites a poem, which he hopes Santana and Ortiz will "dig," but Ortiz reveals that MJF is just quoting Drake. Ortiz gets mad at Jericho, but Jericho says it is on him, as MJF beat him to enter The Inner Circle. He then says that with MJF's mind and muscle, they are stronger than ever and stronger than the walls of Jericho. He says that the new Inner Circle is the new unstoppable force in AEW and that the rest of the group will make it work. After saying that he does not know who Drake even is, MJF says that he started from the bottom and that he is now here in The Inner Circle, much to Ortiz's annoyance. MJF then celebrates Jericho's birthday with confetti and yellow and black balloons, then announces that next week, The Inner Circle is going to Vegas and the whole trip is on him.

Later in the match, Tully Blanchard sneaks a slug into Spears' glove, and while he distracts the referee, tosses another slug in the direction of Scorpio Sky. Scorpio takes the slug tossed to him and throws it into the crowd, but Spears knocks him out and gets the win.

Alex Marvez catches up with Omega in the parking lot, and Omega says that he has been aware of his match with Jon Moxley for some time, and says that Moxley has something that he wants and needs and that Moxley has taken the #1 position in wrestling from him. He says that he has never really left, but he is ready to reassume the responsibility of being the best in the world. He says that Moxley has never beaten him in a real wrestling match, and that he knows that Moxley is as ready as he is.

Tay Conti beats Red Velvet. During the match, Anna Jay passes a steel chair to Conti, but Conti refuses it, as the risk of losing via disqualification is too great. She eventually gets the win with a Gory Special into a knee. After the match, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson are seen watching from one of the entrance tunnels.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Chris Jericho, who celebrates The Inner Circle's trip to Vegas with MJF. Sammy Guevara shows up saying he got a e-mail saying to be at the beach, but MJF says he sent a second e-mail telling him to be in the ring. Orton says Ricochet and Humberto won't have to look for, as it will be the three of them against The O.C. tonight.

During the match, R-Truth chases The Singh Brothers around the ring before chasing them to the back, and The Singh Brothers hide in the women's locker room - with women obviously inside - before escaping into what appears to be a dark closet. When they turn the lights on, they find out that Erick Rowan is in the room - which is actually a room - with them. Rowan attacks both men and hits them with a couch, then R-Truth shows up, says "Y'all need privacy," then turns the lights back off, leaves the room and leaves The Singh Brothers to their fate.

He says NXT may be where it started, but Raw is his show. He states that while NXT started the fight, "his gang" on Raw will finish it at Survivor Series, which is still a few weeks away. Seth then shifts his focus to tonight, saying he is the best wrestler on the planet today and that he didn't get there by taking days off. He issues an open challenge and states that he wants to face the United Kingdom's best. Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) shows up to answer the challenge, and Walter tells Rollins that if he wants the best, they are here. Walter introduces himself and Imperium, and states that the mat is sacred to them. After Walter tells Seth Rollins that not even he is safe, Rollins appreciates Walter's challenge and boasting and says that the United Kingdom Championship says he might be right. Rollins then calls Walter to the ring for the match.

Seth Rollins beats Walter by disqualification after the rest of Imperium (Fabian Aichner, Macrel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) attack Rollins. After the match, Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) run in, but the numbers game catches up. Suddenly, Kevin Owens suddenly runs in and evens the odds. He says he knows who "you" are and what "you" have done, and demands that someone knock on his door and pick a fight with him.

WWE honors Veterans Day.

Lana shows up. She says she is out here to confess her sins, and says that Bobby Lashley did not want her to come out and talk about them. She admits she has flaws, but telling the truth is not one of them and she would be hated for what she is than what loved for what she is not. Lana admits that she cheated on Rusev, even though Rusev cheated on her first, then mentions she had sex with Bobby Lashley for the first time seven weeks ago. She admits that the sex was beautiful, then mentions what happened to her last week when she fell on the ground when Ricochet sent Lashley into her. She says she went to the doctor and found out she is fine...and nine weeks pregnant. Even though she had sex with Lashley seven weeks ago, she then concludes that Rusev was the one to impregnate her, then gets angry at Rusev for putting a baby in her. Rusev then shows up. Rusev says he is trying to make sense of everything. Lana accuses Rusev of calling her a liar and a manipulator, and when Rusev tells her to stop yelling, Lana slaps him. Lashley then shows up. Lana goes for Rusev's eyes before Lashley attacks Rusev. Lana then tells Lashley on stage - and in front of the camera - that she cannot believe Rusev believed she was pregnant, revealing that the pregnancy was a lie.

Erick Rowan shows up with a cage on the way to the ring to the next match. Rowan places the cage - covered in a burlap-like rag - on the announce table.

Erick Rowan beats Soner Dursun, then walks away with the cage.

The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) beat Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster.

Backstage, Ricochet speaks with Randy Orton, telling him that he knows that Orton will RKO him the first chance he gets, but Orton tells him that the last thing Ricochet needs to do to himself is let him get in his head.

Randy Orton, Ricochet and Humberto Garcia beat The O.C. ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) after Orton teases hitting an RKO on Ricochet only to hit Styles with it instead. After the match, Orton teases doing it again, but Ricochet catches him. Orton tells him to remember that he does what he wants to who he wants when he wants.

Karen Q beats Kaitlin Diamond with a Boston Crab to qualify for the Four Corners Survival Match for the ROH Women of Honor World Championship at Final Battle. During the match, Sumie Sakai shows up to watch the match from ringside, and after the match, Sumie gets in the ring. As Sumie fends odd Karen Q, Kelly Klein blindsides Sumie Sakai, then she and Karen Q argue over the Women of Honor title before taking the boots to Sumie Sakai. Madison Rayne runs out and into the ring to fight Kelly Kelin, and security and referees have to run in to separate everyone. Afterwards, Madison Rayne tells Sumie Sakai she is coming for the Women of Honor Championship.

Rhett Titus shows up in a blue Speedo, this time with a hockey puck and a goalie stick, and poses with the stick on the stage. He then guests on commentary for the next match.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Chuckie T. After the match, it is announced that Trent Barretta will be facing Juice Robinson, instead of facing ethe now-injured "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes for the IWGP United States Championship as originally planned. Rhett Titus is also booted from commentary by Caprice Coleman as per the producers backstage for only wearing a Speedo.

Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI and Tetsuya Naito) beat The Kingdom (Vinny Marseglia and TK O'Ryan). (The Kingdom replace Dalton Castle and Juice Robinson due to "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes being injured.) After the match, The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan) attack Naito and BUSHI, then "Almighty" Christopher Daniels runs in to help Naito and BUSHI fight them off. This gets the next match started earlier than scheduled.

Matt Taven beats "Almighty" Christopher Daniels following the distraction and interference by TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia, who introduce Taven's fake ROH World Championship into the match. During the match, Dalton Castle shows up with The Boys and replaces Ian Ricobonni on commentary, wanting to be "in Ian's shoes" to get to know what Matt Taven ticks.

He tells Bully Ray that there is nothing he can do to make him quit, and he challenges him to an "I Quit" Match at Final Battle.

Before the next match, SoCal Uncensored ("The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) put Super Smash Bros. (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) over, saying that while they have been spending the last six months going for the tag team titles and bringing relevance back to them, Super Smash Bros. have been in pro wrestling for the last thirteen years with "A+ game with little acclaim," and that this changes tonight when they face them for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

SoCal Uncensored ("The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against Super Smash Bros. (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson). Both teams shake hands after the match.

Due to "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes suffering an injury and not being medically cleared to compete, Trent Beretta will be facing Juice Robinson.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for November 11, 2017

Punishment Martinez beats Josh "The Goods" Woods to move on to the Four Corners Elimination Match for the ROH World Television Championship at Final Battle.

Mark Briscoe says people are calling him an idiot for competing tonight despite being injured, but he has earned his title shot and he will win the ROH World Television Championship. Jay Briscoe says he knows how he feels about this, but he will be in his corner tonight. Mark is okay with this.

Jay Lethal shows up. He says he is here to get something off his chest, and things have not been going great for him lately. It seems that every time he tries to get focused and back on the road to becoming ROH World Championship, someone or something comes along and sidetracks him, which frustrates him as he is always asked what is next for him. He says he is the greatest in the world and has done some things that others in the locker room have dreamed about. All that is next for him is becoming a two-time ROH World Champion. As much as it pains him to admit, the current ROH World Champion is "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. He says Cody has not been here that long and not may have defeated him, but on the top of that list is his name. Suddenly, the lights go off, then "The Villain" Marty Scurll shows up. He says he is not here to fight, bicker or cause a spot of bother, as he likes Jay Lethal and thinks he is all right. He could not help but overhear him talking about goals, and talks about his goals for when he came to Ring of Honor. He wanted the best competition the company had to offer, and he wanted to wrestle all the best wrestlers in the world. Not surprisingly, Jay Lethal is one of them, but the Jay Lethal he wanted to face is not the one who stands in front of him who wants to shake hands, but the one who was not afraid to bend the rules, whether it be a handful of tights, put feet on the ropes, or cut corners where he had to. He wants a vicious, ruthless Jay Lethal that can be described as villainous. Jay Lethal says that he and Scurll are nothing alike, as he is the greatest in the world, and the only difference between them is that he did it because he wanted to and Scurll does it because he has to. Scurll questions if he does not have to do these things, and says the Lethal he is looking for is the same one who was dual champion. He asks if he does not want to be that guy anymore, then he might as well put the clown costume with the shtick back on (a reference to his old "Black Machismo" gimmick from TNA/Impact Wrestling), because it was at least entertaining. Lethal approaches him, but Scurll stops him and says that the fans who chanted for him because he was a badass are now chanting for him and wearing "Villain Club" T-shirts. He says that at the end of the day, money talks, and at Final Battle, he will face Lethal as his hand-picked opponent. Lethal tells him he accepts his challenge, and says that Scurll seems to know the "old" him well. Since Scurll is a smart man who does his studying, he created this "Villain," and tells him to be careful what he wished for, as he will get the badass he asked for and even see some new tricks.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes says "Hangman" Adam Page does not care about Dalton Castle's moment; all he cares about is protecting the fraternity of Bullet Club. Page says The Boys are gone forever, and that Dalton Castle will not kiss Cody's rring as he will not make it to Final Battle.

Kenny King retains the ROH World Television Championship against Mark Briscoe before the match can even start after Jay Briscoe tosses in the towel. After the match, Punishment Martinez shows up from out of the crowd and attacks Kenny King. Shane Taylor shows up, then Martinez and Taylor brawl in the ring. Kenny King tries to get back at Martinez only to be pulled off by Taylor, then "The Last Real Man" Silas Young and Cheeseburger get in the ring. This starts a five-man brawl which ends after Kenny King hits everyone else with a tope con hiro to the outside.

It's time for Coleman's Pulpit. This week's guest is Shane Taylor. Taylor says he has always been violent, and he is taking opportunities instead of waiting for them. As for whether or not he is a hired hitman, he asks Colleman what it looks like, and says he is okay with doing other people's dirty work for a price. He also asks "What's honorable?," then says he could either pander to the fans and wait for someone to throw him a bone, but he decided to take things into his own hands. As for what makes him tick, he has a family to take care of and a three-year-old daughter whom he wants to have a better than he had that is free of constant violence, and he will do anything he has to do to whoever he has to do it to in order to provide that better life.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) guest on commentary for the next match.

Best Friends (Trent Barrett and Chuckie T) beat The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels and "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian). The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia, TK O'Ryan) are seen watching the match on the stage. Later on in the match, Daniels tries to introduce a chair into the match, but War Machine (Hanson and Raymond Rowe) show up and take it away from him. This distracts Daniels and allows Chuckie T to get the win. After the match, Chuckie T
