Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey) beat Keanu Carver and Harlem Lewis. Before the bell rings, Carver and Lewis go after Gallus, and Wolfgang also gets involved. When security shows up, so does Prime Minister Stevie Turner, who gets the match back on track and has the bell ring. Later in the match, Lewis attacks Carver from behind, then walks out on the match, and Gallus is able to get the win.
Backstage, Timothy Thatcher is met by "Super" Sean Legacy regarding The Vanity Project ("The Real Deal" Zayda Steel, Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Bryce Donovan) and Lexis King, stating that they are getting a little too cozy and that he does not trust them. He asks Timothy Thatcher to be in his corner, stating that Thatcher has earned his respect, that he respects him and everything he has accomplished, and that The Vanity Project look like the kind of prima donnas who made fun of him before he got in shape and became a professional wrestler. Thatcher accepts Legacy's proposal, and they shake hands.
Backstage, Chuey Martinez interviews Edris Enofé, who has been out with a shoulder injury for the last seven months. Edris says he has built himself up physically and mentally and that he is ready to show he is more than just potential. He says that being part of a tag team means doing half the work, but now he knows his potential, and he plans to do everything to the best of his ability. Edris states that Evolve is full of talent and that he cannot allow anyone else to go past him like he has done for the past three years, and he is here to test his abilities against "the hungriest of the hungry."
Backstage, Masyn Holiday is excited to see Edris Enofé back, but Chantel Monroe is too wrapped up in herself to notice. When Masyn asks Chantel if she is going to be in her corner tonight, Chantel is too focused on both her reflection and the Evolve Women's Championship. Masyn tells her to drop the act, and tells Chantel to let her know when she is ready to show the world who she truly is.
Kali Armstrong beats Masyn Holiday. After the match, Kali Armstrong says she has proved since day one that she is a difference maker, and that in two weeks, she will prove to everyone that she is a history maker when she becomes Evolve Women's Champion. She admits the women's locker room is impressive, and says that regardless of whoever is added to the women's Fatal 4-Way, she will still become a champion. "The Real Deal" Zayda Steel shows up and says they have never met because Armstrong is delusional and that she has a brain - unlike Armstrong - and knows that the Women's Championship has her name on it. Chantel Monroe shows up and says nobody wants to hear Zayda's "whiny ass voice," and states that while Armstrong has game, she is not the reflection of perfection that she is. Kylie Rae shows up and apologizes for interrupting, and says that the fact that there is one slot left in the women's Fatal 4-Way is keeping her smiling. Zayda says that the makeover Wendy Choo gave Kylie is "the best [she's] ever looked" and that Wendy should have put her in the pillowcase. Kylie punches Zayda, but Armstrong quickly comes out on top in the ensuing brawl. Suddenly, Kendal Gray shows up and slams Armstrong around before Armstrong high-tails it out of the ring.
Backstage, Keanu Carver meets with Prime Minster Stevie Turner, who gives him his one-on-one match with Harlem Lewis.
Javier Bernal beats It's Gal with a Victory Roll. After the match, It's Gal attacks Bernal from behind.
Backstage, Prime Minister Stevie Turner tells Nikkita Lyons that she is welcome back whenever she wants, but when she considers adding her to the Play-In Match to determine who takes the last slot in the women's Fatal 4-Way Match, Nikkita tells her to call her when she crowns a champion.
Backstage, Chuey Martinez interviews Kylie Rae, who announces that she is part of the Play-In Match to determine who takes the last slot in the women's Fatal 4-Way Match against Zayda Steel, Aria Bennett and Chantel Monroe. Kylie hopes to win her way into the Fatal 4-Way Match and become Evolve Women's Championship. She admits her loss to Wendy Choo still hurts, but she is not focused on that.
Backstage, Troy Yearwood from LFG signs a contract to be part of Evolve. Yearwood says he looks forward to proving that he belongs in NXT, then It's Gal shows up and brags about beating up Javier Bernal. Prime Minister Stevie Turner tells him to go away and take the loss, and Yearwood stands up for her when Gal interrupts. Gal walks away, and Turner thanks Yearwood before welcoming him to Evolve.
Lexis King beats "Super" Sean Legacy after Jackson Drake and Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes) attack Timothy Thatcher at ringside. Legacy makes the save for Thatcher, but Lexis hits him a knee strike followed by the Coronation when he gets back in the ring.
Backstage, it is revealed that Brinley Reece has been attacked.

We get a closer look at Brinley Reece before the next match. Brinley is excited to evolve on this show. She mentions her 16 years of experience in cheerleading as well as her exercise background and says there is more to her than what has been shown in the last two years and that Evolve is the best place to see it all. We get a closer look at Masyn Holiday, who graduated valedictorian from Howard University and broke three school records on the way.
Brinley Reece beats Masyn Holiday. After the match, Chuey Martinez interviews Brinley, who says that her match speaks for itself when she said she should have been in that first match during the match.
Peter Rosenberg interviews Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont in the VIP Section. Tyriek says that they are not waiting while everyone gets their turn, and Tyson says that they are here to take what is theirs. Tyriek proclaims that they are here for checks and championships, and that this is a lifestyle and not a mantra. Tyson proclaims they are ready to fight and ready for someone to step up and catch a beatdown, as nobody wants them to come looking. When Gallus (Mark and Joe Coffey) show up for the next match, they dare Tyriek and Tyson to come fight them.
We hear from Jordan Oasis, who talks about his start in professional wrestling ten years ago with Rikishi and how he is trying to figure out exactly who he is in the ring. We also hear from Sam Holloway, who dealt with a lot of bullying as a kid and reciprocated it on everyone when he got older and that he has no remorse teaching everyone "the hard way." He says that he quit football 48 hours in because he did not love it, and that he really loved striking fear into people's eyes, which he could not do in football.
Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey) beat Jordan Oasis and Sam Holloway by referee stoppage after Joe Coffey hits Oasis with a knockout punch following Wolfgang showing up and distracting Holloway, who is not on the same page with Oasis during the match. Jack Cartwheel and Cappuccino Jones help carry Jordan Oasis out after the match.

She says fear has held her back from her true potential. She also mentions her gymnastics and track backgrounds. Kylie Rae mentions that she has never met Wendy Choo and that after last week, she does not know if she wants to go to know Wendy Choo, as she scares her. Wendy Choo appears on the nearby Videotron, and Zara Zahker shows up to figure out what is going on only for a spooked Kylie Rae to nearly hit her.
We hear from Drako Knox, who comes from a working class family and considers himself lucky to play college football. He says he has always been a fan of WWE and that he was all in when he got the call, and that WWE was the lottery ticket that represented hope for him. He says the difference between this and a real lottery ticket is that he calls his shot and he controls his own destiny. We also hear from Tate Wilder, a fifth-generation rancher and cowboy with experience in multiple sports, including college football, where he turned a walk-on into a full ride scholarship. He says that everything he went through has brought him here to WWE. He considers himself a combination of Matthew McConaughey and "the baddest man to ever ride a bull" J.B. Mooney, and when he is the ring, there is not a soul in the world who can stop him from doing what he needs to do.

The fans chant for Cody Rhodes, and Roman calls Cody "the guy who ruined everything" before declaring that tonight is the first night where it can be said that The Rock is a member of The Bloodline. The Rock heads to the ring, and after the commercial break, he states that he has some good news to share: he states that the fans in the arena tonight have broken an indoor attendance record for Salt Lake City as well as the state of Utah. He says that the record is for "the largest gathering of trailer park trash The Rock has ever seen," then announces that everyone and their 50 wives will have a story to tell to their 60 inbred children one day. The Rock says the fans have brought a side of him that has not been seen in years yet has always been within him all along, and that it is out because of him and Roman Reigns being in the best main event in WrestleMania history until the fans "flushed it down the toilet." After making fun of the fans for sitting on said toilet tweeting that Cody should finish his story, he asks what story Cody even has after Roman beat him last year, then asks the fans to apply the logic of Cody's story to this year's Super Bowl or Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls beating the Utah Jazz in 1998.The Rock says one does not get another shot at their story because they wanted it, then says the fans do not get it because they are "spoiled, entitled crybaby bitches" and that he will do everything in his power Cody Rhodes walks out of WrestleMania as a loser. He says Cody's story has ended while his and Roman's story as the most dominant team in WWE history is just beginning, then tells the fans to enjoy the ride that he is taking them on.

Dominik says R-Truth is not a part of The Judgment Day as he walks away.
Tiffany Stratton beats Zelina Vega to qualify for the women's Elimination Chamber match. (Zelina Vega replaces Shotzi in this match due to Shotzi getting injured in her match with Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women's Championship, which does not air until the following week.) We hear from Iyo Sky, Asuka and Kairi Sane. Iyo says Bayley pretends Damage CTRL's (Bayley, Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Asuka, Kairi Sane) success is because of her, but they made it what it was. Naomi beats Alba Fyre with Starstruck to qualify for the women's Elimination Chamber match.

General Manager Nick Aldis is on the stage. He announces that Bron Breakker is the newest member of the SmackDown roster. Bron Breakker shows up and signs a SmackDown contract after shaking Aldis' hand.
The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa) head to the ring. Roman Reigns says the people of Utah are idiots and are pretty dumb when they are all grouped together, and says tonight is a big night and does not want the fans to ruin it when The Rock shows up. He says that everything he and The Rock have to say is informative and has meaning, and that tonight is the most important night in WWE. Generation NXT - NXT recap for July 25, 2023
Rhea Ripley and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio head to the ring to start tonight's show. Rhea boasts about Dominik winning the NXT North American Championship last week, and Dominik says he has made the Mysterio name relevant. The crowd chants "Cut the mullet!" at Dominik, and as Rhea tells Lyra Valkyria that it is courageous to step in the ring and face her, Wes Lee shows up and says he hates the North American title in Dominik's hands. He says that for 269 days, the title stood for hard work and opportunity and made him into a better athlete, as he put his heart and soul into the title, and he demands a rematch. Rhea states that NXT needs a new North American Champion, and Wes Lee agrees that NXT needs a North American Champion tonight. Mustafa Ali shows up and says he has love and respect for Wes Lee, but none for Dominik. He says that Dominik stole the North American Championship from him like he steals both of his father's signature moves before stating that Wes lee dropped the ball last week. Wes Lee stops Mustafa and says he is angry that Dominik cut in line and Wes Lee let him. Wes Lee smacks the microphone out of Mustafa's hand, and Dominik says he does not care who he faces at The Great American Bash because Rhea says he can beat both of them. Dom then shoves Mustafa out of his way, and Mustafa tries to strike him only to hit Wes Lee. Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali brawl while Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio laugh.
Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. D'Angelo says he loved the reception for his return, and Stacks looks forward to winning the NXT Tag Team Championships. We hear from Tiffany Stratton, who says that when a superstar is born, nobody sleeps on it. She says that nobody needs to learn classes for it, and that she is "it." She says she is the epitome of what a women's champion is as she puts in the work more and looks better than everyone else, and she says that she did not reach her first premium live event to have everything taken away from her by Thea Hail. Tiffany says Thea is a living energy drink who can run from here to Texas. She says that she did not tap out at Gold Rush and that the referee did not happen, and that she has given Thea Hail the rematch she and the fans wanted out of the goodness of her heart. Tiffany then says Thea attacking her to making their match a submission match "despicable," then says that after The Great American Bash, the universe will still revolve around her and she will still be NXT Women's Champion.

Steveson thanks everyone in NXT, and re-introduces himself and his amateur wrestling accomplishments to those who may not know who he is, and says he could become a two-time Olympic gold medalist or go back to college and become a three-time NCAA champion. He also says that he could make his decision right now, but before he does, Baron Corbin shows up and tells Gable to be careful what he says next, as it could determine his entire future. Corbin advises him to go back to back to either college or the Olympics. He wants Gable not to come to NXT, for if he does, he will do something he has never done before: fail. He says that the ropes will show him who he is, then talks about how he toed the company line for eight years before he stopped caring. Corbin says Gable is swimming with sharks and that he is a great white who is hungry for blood. Gable tells Corbin he made his decision much easier, and challenges Corbin to his first-ever match at The Great American Match before slamming him around the ring. Corbin is stopped by security when he tries to get back into the ring.

All-American and MMA fighter Zion Clark is seen in the crowd.
We see footage of Roxanne Perez and Blair Davenport brawling in a convenience store. Roxanne tells Blair that this is a taste of the Roxanne Perez that she will get before leaving the convenience store.
It's time for Supernova Sessions, which is hosted by the rest of Meta-Four (Oro Mensah, Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson) as Noam Dar sits dejected on his wheelchair as he is made the host of tonight's edition of the show. Meta-Four then show Noam Dar the Heritage Cup, and Naom Dar finally rises out of his funk as Meta-Four declares Noam Dar to be the undisputed Heritage Cup Champion. Nathan Frazer and Dragno Lee show up, with Frazer holding the Heritage Cup. Noam Dar says he never lost the Heritage Cup, but Frazer calls Noam "a massive fraud" while Noam calls Frazer's cup "counterfeit." Frazer challenges Noam Dar, now that Noam is no longer injured, then Oro Mensah mentions that there are four of them against just Frazer and Dragon Lee. Dragunov shows up, and this starts a brawl. Dragonuv gets the upper hand, but Trick grabs him by the ankle, and Dragunov responds with a diving forearm to the jaw before followed by a running diving forearm from the corner. Dragunov gets Trick in the corner and goes for the Torpedo Moscow, but Carmelo Hayes gets in the ring and takes the bullet for Trick Williams. Dragunov tells Carmelo he is a man of honor and says loyalty is very rare nowadays, then tells him to keep his friendship with Trick, for it will be all that he has left after he takes his NXT Championship.
