Gunther calls Jey Uso "a funny little man" and says that will not happen, and accuses him of acting like a "complete dork" and the company mascot as if their conversation from last week never happened. He says that he might as well be challenged by Jimmy Uso, and says that Jey Uso never follows up on his words. Gunther also claims that Jey Uso always showing up for his friends makes him a "useful idiot," and says that his words and actions do not align like his do. Gunther says he will expose Jey Uso as a flash in the pan who has no business being close to the World Heavyweight Championship. Jey Uso admits that he is a mascot and the fans are his team who will have been there every step of the way and will be there when he wins. He says that he respects Gunther, but Gunther will also respect him, because one of them main evented WrestleMania and it is not Gunther. Gunther throws the World title at Jey Uso, then attacks him. Jey Uso fights back and hits the Superkick, sending Gunther rolling out of the ring. Gunther gets on the ring apron, but gets back down and takes his championship back.

Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) run into JBL, and ask him to mention that they are the victim of a disgusting smear campaign. Kofi puts some money in JBL's pocket and says JBL did what they did in their position and had the greatest success in his career. He says he has spoken with General Manager Sami Zayn and he is officially declared for the 2025 men's Royal Rumble, and that he has taken Seth "Freakin'" Rollins' advice to help himself to heart. He says he has thought about what he wanted as a wrestler when he was a teen and has considered himself part of the upper echelon in WWE, with the only difference between himself and everyone else in it is that they have world titles to their names and he does not. Sami says he has had a great life and a great career and feels he does not need the world title to complete him as the fans have supported him throughout the year, and that the fans' support has meant more to him than any world title. He says he does need the world title, but his fourteen-year-old self is still in him and he wants it, and he is willing to take it. Suddenly, Kevin Owens shows up. Sami says it was a matter of time until Owens showed up and asks Owens how he wants to do this, due to their histories with Roman Reigns' Bloodline. Owens says that if he needs Sami, he knows he will be there.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Sheamus. Sheamus says he has had "the greatest WWE career backwards," and while his first title is the WWE Championship, the Intercontinental Championship drew him into WWE as a kid, and he plans to beat Bron Breakker and win the last title he has never had. Bron Breakk shows up and says the Intercontinental Championship is his and that this is the closest he will ever be to it, for he will bend and break him like an old man. Penta beats Pete Dunne.

We see a vignette for Logan Paul. Logan says everyone has wanted him to fail, but it will never happen because he becomes the best at whatever he does. He lists off his accolades and successes, and says the WWE will be no different from anything else he has done. He says this is his life now, and that he will eat, sleep and breathe wrestling until he becomes the best to ever step into the ring.

CM Punk is interviewed by Jackie Redmond in the crowd. Punk says history makes this year's Royal Rumble different and states that he is a maker of history, then says the business is fickle. He says that stakes are much too high, the lights are much too bright, and the pressure is on. Punk says that it is every man for themselves and that he will be the one to win the Royal Rumble.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 11, 2024

Gunther heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Gunther says that he does not look to the past and instead looks at what is in front of him, and in front of him is Damian Priest as his next championship challenger. As Gunther states that he has quite a bit to say about Priest, Priest heads to the ring. Priest tells Gunther to say what he has to say about him to his face, then predicts that Gunther will call him "street trash" and a bum who was not raised right by his parents and also had to scratch and claw while Gunther just waited for a phone call. He says that he understood why Gunther was seen as a killer and that he did not think he would be able to beat him, and had it not been for Finn Balor betraying him, Gunther would not be World Heavyweight Champion right now. He then says that Gunther's "killer" vibe started to fade when he won the title because he started to doubt himself, especially after he was pinned by Cody Rhodes. Gunther gets angry, and Priest says Gunther cannot speak due to his self-doubt and knowing he cannot beat him.Priest says "the killer is dead" because Gunther would have taken a swing at him by now, then says that if Gunther wants to take his shot, he can do it right now. He then says that if Gunther did take his shot right now, he would drop him in the ring right now. All of a sudden, Ludwig Kaiser shows up wanting to know what is going on, and says that it is Priest who is doubting Gunther and that Gunther has beaten Priest once already. Kaiser then tells Priest to get out of the ring right now and save himself, because the outcome of their their second match will be the same. Gunther interrupts by grabbing the microphone, but Kaiser says he will not let Priest trash talk him. Priest punches Kaiser and clotheslines him out of the ring, and Gunther leaves when Priest focuses on him again.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane). Iyo says she is ready, and she hopes that Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are, too. Kairi then says that they have other business tonight, then Dakota Kai suddenly returns after three months and says nobody will stop them, including Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler), who injured her. Dakota then says that Damage CTRL will show what they are truly made of.

WWE acknowledges Veteran's Day.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston is met by R-Truth, and Kofi thanks them for a few weeks and apologizes for not having his back afterwards due to Xavier Woods not letting him get involved. Xavier Woods, who has overheard, makes his way into the conversation. Pete Dunne shows up and confronts R-Truth for calling him Butch, and Kofi tells Pete Dunne to take a chill pill, much to Woods' frustration. This leads to a match between Kofi and Dunne, and R-Truth wishes Kofi good luck against Dunne, as "it's Butch you gotta worry about."

Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane) beat Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler) in a six-woman tag match.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso meets with "Main Event" Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. Jimmy says they need a fifth member for WarGames, but Jey says they have no friends. Sami says he knows someone, and tells Jey he will text him.

Pete Dunne beats Kofi Kingston when Xavier Woods clotheslines Pete Dunne on the outside behind the referee's back and Kofi confronts him for it. After the match, Woods helps Kofi to the back, but Kofi shoves Woods away as Woods says that Kofi is focused on everyone else but himself.

Backstage, Finn Balor confronts Dominik Mysterio for not getting the World title shot that Damian Priest now has. Dominik mentions what happened in last week's Fatal 4-Way Match and asks where Finn was, then says he has beaten Damian Priest and has gotten closer to the World Heavyweight Championship than Finn has gone in a long time. Dominik and Finn almost come to blows before Finn tells him and Carlito to take care of The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik).

We hear from Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Jade says they will take Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez down like all their other opponents before daring them to shoot their shot.

UFC Light Heavyweight fighter Jamahal Hill is in the front row.

"Big" Bronson Reed heads to the ring. Bronson says he is out here to say that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins was "one hell of a competitor" at Crown Jewel, then says he is not a competitor; he is a monster, and last week, he took him, Sheamus, and Damian Priest out and will do the same to anyone else who gets in the way of putting Rollins down for good. Bronson then says that if Rollins wants his revenge, all he has to do is get in the ring. Rollins shows up as if on cue, then rushes to the ring and brawls with Bronson. The brawl soon makes its way to the outside and into the timekeeper's area as Rollins dives onto Bronson and security has to hold both men back, and Bronson fights off security just to get back at Rollins. Security eventually gets both men apart in the ring, but Rollins slips out of the ring and gets to Bronson at the ring apron. Bronson fights his way out of security's grasp, then levels security with a tope suicida before he and Rollins brawl again. General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with more officials to hold both men back.

Backstage, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins tells General Manager Adam Pearce that he must have a match with "Big" Bronson Reed, and Pearce says he has it next week and that everything needs to end. Sami Zayn shows up after Pearce leaves, and asks Rollins to be the original Bloodline's fifth man and mentions his family bond with the original Bloodline (Roman Reigns, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso) and how Roman and Rollins are still brothers. Rollins tells Sami that he is out of his mind, especially after all he did to take Roman down, and says he knows better than to bring Roman back up and that he is shocked that he, much less anyone else, is standing with him. He says that Roman is using him again, and while he appreciates the gesture, he declines.

Damian Priest beats Ludwig Kaiser. After the match, Gunther shows up, and he and Priest briefly stare each other down from across the ramp.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bron Breakker, who says that he is in an interesting point in his career and looking to expand his trophy case. He says that the Speed Championship would be around his waist if it were not for Sheamus. Sheamus shows up and says he has been in WWE for fifteen years while Breakker has been in WWE for fifteen minute, and that Breakker has a lot of momentum and the arrogance that he had when he had his foot on John Cena's chest. He then wants to know if Breakker has the guts to put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against him next week, and Breakker says he would love nothing more than to kick his old ass. Sheamus says his old ass is still going and stronger than ever, then tells him to shine the belt up real nice because he is taking it home. Sheamus leaves, then Jimmy Uso meets with Bron Breakker.

Backstage, The Miz is met by The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar). The Miz says he is done and that what is going on with The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross) is bigger than all of them and that he is a better man who has changed his ways. He says that both he and Wyatt Sicks have moved on, and so should Karrion Kross. Kross says that Paul Ellering was taken out by them and blames The Miz for it before they force The Miz into the ring. Karrion says The Miz is lying to him and that his story is not adding up, then wants to know where The Wyatt Sicks is. The Wyatt Sicks soon teleport onto the ring apron and confront The Final Testament, then The Miz hits Erick Rowan in the back with a chair. Uncle Howdy laughs, and The Miz and The Final Testament brawl with The Wyatt Sicks and come out on top. The Miz and Karrion Kross the celebrate in the ring.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Seth "Freakin'" Rollins as he leaves the building. Suddenly, he encounters Solo Sikoa's Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu). Solo says they both cannot stand Roman Reigns and that they should team up and take him out, but Rollins tells Solo something he did not tell Sami, which is that he will stomp Roman's head into the ground when they are in the ring again, as he will never team with Roman. Rollins then states that he will also never team with "a wanna-be Roman Reigns." Solo holds Jacob Fatu back as Rollins leaves.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez after Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton go after Bianca and Jade only to have their efforts thwarted by Naomi, which leads to Bianca, Jade and Naomi having to deal with Liv, Raquel, Nia and Tiffany all at once until Jade is able to kick Liv out of the air so that Bianca can hit Liv with the K.O.D. to retain. After the match, Nia Jax attacks Jade and Bianca, then Iyo Sky shows up and fights Nia and Tiffany. Raquel gets in the ring, and Iyo ducks as Jade and Bianca send her out of the ring. Iyo, Naomi, Jade and Bianca then take down Nia to end the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 7, 2024

Sexxy Red welcomes everyone to tonight's show.

CM Punk shows up on the stage. Punk admits he is not in any condition to be here, much less in the ring, and while it hurts to smile, he had to see the fans. He says he is alive and a winner, but he does not feel that way. He wants to say it feels tremendous to have beaten Drew McIntyre, but he has a lot of questions and does not know what the future holds for him, as he knew he had "zero Hell In A Cell Matches left in [him]." Punk then thanks three groups of people, who have more in common than they would admit: his fans, his peers, and the people who don't like him at all. He says he did not know if he would pull this off, but he knew he could not do it without them, and he also turned the hate into cash and admits he does not know why his haters keep doubting him. Punk admits he does know when he will see the fans again before thanking them one more time. Suddenly, Seth "Freakin' Rollins shows up, and the two of them have a brief staredown before Rollins brushes up against him and heads to the ring. Rollins says he has to do the right thing, and he tells Punk to get well soon after everything that he had been through, for the sooner he gets back, the sooner he can kick his ass and retire him for good. Rollins looks at the state of Raw after Bad Blood, then proclaims that he is back to destroy "Big" Bronson Reed, yet Bronson is not here tonight. He then says he knows Bronson is watching, and tells him that two months, he ambushed him and tried to end his career to make a name for himself. Rollins then congratulates him for doing that after hitting six Tsunamis before telling him that if he wants to be famous, he will give him his fifteen minutes, and all Bronson has to do is name the time and place, and this time, he will be expecting him. Suddenly, "Main Event" Jey Uso arrives for the next match, and Rollins leaves.

"Main Event" Jey Uso retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods. After the match, Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston both help Woods up, and after Jey shows good sportsmanship to Kofi, a seething Woods gives Jey the cold shoulder, then argues with Kofi over shaking Jey's hand when Kofi rejoins him. After Woods and Kofi leave, Jey Uso is suddenly hit with a Spear from out of nowhere by Bron Breakker. Kofi Kingston runs back into the ring to fight Bron Breakker only to get Speared, while Xavier Woods refuses to join Kofi and ends up helping Kofi out of the ring. As the referee checks on Jey, Bron Breakker runs around the ring and hits Woods with a Spear before nailing Jey Uso with another one back in the ring.

We hear from Rhea Ripley, who says she should have known that Liv Morgan would have weaseled out and would continue to prove that she cannot beat her on her own, but gives Liv credit for bringing out Raquel Rodriguez. She says it would have been smarter for her to not get caught, as it only guaranteed another beating and delayed the inevitable.

We see the Viking runes again.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Bron Breakker, but Breakker walks away without explaining his actions.

It is announced that there was an incident between "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens outside of the arena after Bad Blood, and that it will be handled internally.

Backstage, Karrion Kross meets with The Miz, saying he turned on R-Truth for himself as he is tired of doing so much and getting nothing in return before R-Truth shows up and says he is not in The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito, Liv Morgan) anymore and that he forgives him. Miz tells R-Truth that Awesome Truth (Miz and R-Truth) is done, and Karrion Kross tells R-Truth that if he does not fix this now, this is how he will be remembered for the rest of his life. R-Truth says he will get Miz a match, but Miz challenges R-Truth to a match next week while Kross laughs.

Sheamus beats Pete Dunne in a Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook Match with two Brogue Kicks despite Dunne cuffing Sheamus' hands behind his back with two zipties.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, who says he is here to see what it takes to be the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion, and that what happened at Bad Blood will be addressed on SmackDown. He then meets Sami Zayn, who wants to be the one that Cody faces at Crown Jewel, which Cody looks forward to.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Raquel Rodriguez shows up with Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. Jackie Redmond interviews Liv, who says she still has everything and that she still wins even when she loses. Liv interrupts Jackie when she asks Raquel if she is part of The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito, Liv Morgan), then the three of them decide to leave the building, with Raquel refusing to answer when Jackie asks a second time.

General Manager Adam Pearce meets with NXT General Manager Ava backstage when "All Ego" Ethan Page shows up and accuses CM Punk of costing him the NXT Championship, then Ava says she is flattered that Page came all the way here to complain to her. In memory of Sid Eudy "Sycho Sid", 1960 - 2024.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito, Liv Morgan) head to the ring to start tonight's show. After a replay of what they did to Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest last week, JD McDonagh says the beating they got was a long time coming, and Finn Balor says Rhea and Priest are the bad guys around here, not them, due to their betrayal. He says that they deserved that beating and that it is a preview of what will happen at Bash In Berlin. Liv thanks Rhea for putting herself in the position to lose The Judgment Day, and says she will find out that she and Dominik will always be on top. Dominik says that Liv does things for her that Rhea has never done, like help him beat "[his] deadbeat day" Rey Mysterio, and with her full support, he is entering the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Tournament and winning the whole thing. The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Dragon Lee) suddenly shows up, and Rey tells Dominik that he is a lost soul and needs help, and that when he was with Rhea, "one of you had a set, and it sure wasn't [Dominik]." Rey says somebody needs to put Dominik in his place, but Dominik says he beat him and had him disappear for weeks. Rey says that Dominik was always a jackass, but now that he is with Liv, he is "an even bigger jackass." Liv takes offense to that statement, and Rey threatens to slap the moustache off Dominik's face. Dominik says he would like to see him try, and McDonagh goes for a cheap shot only for Rey to punch him back. The Latino World Order soon cleans house.

The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Carlito) beats The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Dragon Lee) in an eight-man tag team match after Liv Morgan pulls Dominik out of the way of Rey's top rope splash, allowing Dominik to pin Rey with a La Magistral Cradle for the win. After the match, The Judgment Day continues to attack The Latino World Order. As Dominik is about to splash Rey through the announce table, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest show up. Rhea beats up Liv, and Damian Priest distracts Dominik long enough for him to run into Rhea. Liv jumps on top of Rhea, and Priest fends off the rest of The Judgment Day, but Rhea and Priest soon stand tall. Carlito gets South of Heaven, while JD McDonagh gets Riptide after receiving a strong clothesline from Rhea just seconds beforehand.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews The Miz. Miz admits that he has had a bad couple of weeks, and it feels like every time he does the right thing, something goes wrong. He says that it time to right some wrongs and get one step closer to the Intercontinental Championship. "Big" Bronson Reed shows up and says Miz came after him because he took out R-Truth, and R-Truth came after him for taking out Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. He tells Miz that after he decimates Braun Strowman, he will come back for him.

Backstage, Xavier Woods is met by Kofi Kingston. Woods and Kofi bury the hatchet regarding last week and focus on the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Tournament.

Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) beat Pure Fusion Collective (Zoey Stark and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler) after Zelina Vega attacks Sonya Deville on the outside.

We see VHS cassette footage of Bo Dallas looking back on his accomplishments. He says that past mistakes will not be made again, as the false prophet continues to make himself known to the world as a loving shepherd leading his sheep into the mouths of wolves. He says that American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Ivy Nile) is not a family, but blasphemy, and that The Wyatt Sicks (Bo Dallas, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross) have given Chad Gable chance and chance, yet Gable has refused to remove the scales from his eyes. He says that they must cut the head of the snake so that the blood can wash away the sins of the damned. Bo Dallas accepts Gable's challenge, and says that what is about to happen is more than a reckoning; it is a purge.

Drew McIntyre heads to the ring. McIntyre makes fun of CM Punk's promos, then says he is telling the truth and that the truth is that Punk is scared of him, which he has known since Royal Rumble after Punk kept attacking him from behind every chance he got. He says that the fans continue to chant Punk's name despite this, and accuses the fans of being enablers for CM Punk before stating that what Punk will be going through in their strap match will be on them. McIntyre says the fans has chosen nostalgia over what is going on right now, and as he states that Punk will regret challenging him to a strap match as he lashes him again and again, Punk shows up behind McIntyre and strikes McIntyre with a leather strap. McIntyre and Punk soon brawl, and when McIntyre gets the upper hand, he grabs the strap only to be slammed into the commentary table and struck with the leather strap again. Security shows up to break up the brawl, and McIntyre is able to flee through the crowd before Punk takes out a few members of security.

"Main Event" Jey Uso beats Karrion Kross and Kofi Kingston in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's Tournament.

In Instagram footage from earlier today, Gunther says he is focused on Bash In Berlin, for as much as SummerSlam was the day that he saved professional wrestling, Bash In Berlin will be the day that Randy Orton will have met his match.

Randy Orton heads to the ring. Orton says that for the entirety of his career, he has listened to the voices in his head, but as of late, he has been listening to the voices of the fans, and he thanks them for the warm reception, saying it means the world to him even if it took fifteen years. He says he won a lot of titles in his career, but the won that he loves the most is the World Heavyweight Championship, as it is the first world title that he won and that he has history engrained in that built. He also talks about how he retired the original World Heavyweight title after unifying it with the WWE Championship, but when the title was re-introduced, he was at home recovering from spinal fusion history and did not know if he would compete ever again. Orton says that he wants to engrain his name in the World Heavyweight Championship again and that he has the opportunity on Saturday to create a new legacy. He says that he will be stepping into enemy territory in Berlin, Germany and that he will be facing a living legend in Gunther, whose head is shoved so far up his own ass that he has no idea what he will be facing in him. Orton says he grew up in the front of the WWE fans and that he signed his first contract when he was nineteen years old, and that the fans have watched him become humble and learn from his mistakes over and over again until he stepped out from the shadows and took them out one by one. He says that Gunther was an arrogant young prick at that age and that this may be the one thing they have in common, and while he may have been humbled, Gunther has never been put in his place, which will happen on Saturday. Orton says it only had to be about the World Heavyweight Championship, but Gunther made it personal by talking about his family and his personal demons. He says he has beaten those demons, which are more powerful than any opponent Gunther has ever known. He then says he will beat Gunther just like he beat his personal demons.

We hear from The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn), who say that Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are not the unstoppable force they were thought to be, and that they will expose them for the frauds that they are while staying Women's Tag Team Champions.

Braun Strowman vs. "Big" Bronson Reed ends with a parking lot brawl and Bronson Reed hitting Braun Strowman with the Tsunami on top of a car. Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 19, 2024

Randy Orton heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Orton says that Gunther had to make things personal and bring up his family, which gave him more reasons to beat him at Bash At Berlin, and when Gunther turned his back, he had no choice but to hit him with an RKO. Gunther soon appears and demands that everyone shuts up as he is relentlessly booed, then takes offense to Orton mentioning the RKO he hit him with and tells him to celebrate it because it will be all the celebrating he does. He says that Orton made things personal, then chastises the fans for their "USA" chants and tells Orton that he will never be World Heavyweight Champion again. Gunther then says that when he is done with Orton at Bash In Berlin, he will leave him a bloody mess and exposed for what he is: "a very successful yet very underachieving one trick pony." Orton tells Gunther that he is only making the eight-hour flight to Berlin, Germany less comfortable with a size 15 double-wide foot up his ass, then Gunther dares Orton to fight him. Ludwig Kaiser shows up from behind, and while Orton is able to deal with him, the numbers game catches up to Orton.

Woods says he is used to Karrion Kross' mind games at this point, then says he wishes Kofi brought up Odyssey Jones joining first, as he does not want to replace Big E. We see a video package for Bron Breakker.

Backstage, Ivy Nile is met by Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed). Gable calls them all his real family and says Ivy made the right decision. Gable then re-focuses on The Wyatt Sicks (Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis).

Ivy Nile vs. Maxxine Dupri ends in a no-contest. The lights go out, then Nikki Cross shows up in the ring as Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) get in the ring, then Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan and Dexter Lumis show up on the apron. The Wyatt Sicks (Nikki, Erick, Gacy, Lumis) attack all four members of American Made (Gable, Julius, Brutus, Ivy), and Gable is alone and surrounded in the ring. Nikki Cross gets back in the ring, scaring Gable, then Bo Dallas shows up as Uncle Howdy and hits Gable with Sister Abigail.

We hear from Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Priest says that for the last two weeks, the new "lame" version of The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito, Liv Morgan) tried to take them out, but he and Ripley stood their ground while they ran. He says Dominik and Finn Balor's days are numbered because they will receive their punishment, and Ripley says that Dominik will find out that they were keeping him safe the entire time and that Liv Morgan became "a discount Rhea Ripley," and that she and Priest will put them through the mat.

He also mentions another fan coming from Jordan - 5,785 miles away - to meet him, and says it has been more than ten years and that it has been fans like that that share the love who drive him. Punk then addresses Drew McIntyre, who he says hates him and made things personal to the point of obsession, then says his biggest hater is his biggest fan and has made a bracelet for him in the form of a leather strap. Punk then declares that his match at McIntyre at Bash In Berlin will be a strap match, and that he wants this so he can whip McIntyre and leave him with lasting scars while he takes his bracelet back. McIntyre shows up and says he has thought all week of what he will do to Punk, then asks Punk if he has started drinking after proposing a strap match, which he accepts. He then says that he cannot wait a week and wants a receipt for last week, and tells Punk to drop the leather strap so they can have a show. Punk says he will give McIntyre the strap if he gives him his bracelet. Punk reminds McIntyre that he will not be strapped to McIntyre; instead, McIntyre will be strapped to him.

Ripley thinks it is a trap, but Priest says chance to get his hands on Dominik will be worth it. He says that they will not stop until they bring Judgment to "the lame ass Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito, Liv Morgan)."

Sheamus says that if Kaiser wants the rubber match, he knows where to find him: watching in the corner as Kaiser takes an RKO.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Bron Breakker. Breakker says it is a good thing he went to a highly respected university, as there is a tournament to determine his next challenger and General Manager Adam Pearce cannot stand that he is going through the locker room so quickly. He says it is not his fault that he is a badass and a genetic freak and that he earned the Intercontinental Championship, and warns the winner of the tournament that he will Spear him through the floor and give him the beating of a lifetime, which will be his fault.

Damian Priest vs. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio ends before it can start due to a failed ambush by the rest of The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Carlito). Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 12, 2024

Rhea Ripley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Rhea says she has had to think about what happened at SummerSlam and felt embarrassment, heartbreak, and right now, she is "pissed the hell off." She says that "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio stabbed her in the back, then says it just was not deep enough. As for Liv Morgan, Rhea says Liv managed to run away with the Women's World Championship, but she cannot run forever. Rhea says it is time to remind them exactly who she is, then Liv Morgan and Dominik make their presence known from the skybox. Liv says Dominik has some things to get off his chest, and Dominik says she left Rhea because he is a man and deserves to be treated like one, and that Rhea tried to change him instead of letting him be himself. He says that being bossed around and calling Rhea "Mami" was embarrassing, but now he has a girl who calls him "Daddy" who lets him be himself and do whatever he wants when he wants. Dominik also says that Liv also did something Rhea could never do: help him finally beat his deadbeat dad Rey Mysterio. Rhea says she is proud of Dominik for everything that he has accomplished in the last couple of years and says that watching him grow into the man he has become is one of her biggest accomplishments. She says that Dominik finally did something for himself and won championship gold, but she also wanted Dominik to beat Rey on his own so there would be no excuses. She also says that she should be proud of Dominik for making his own decisions, then says it will be the last decision Dominik will ever make. Liv says the only true thing Rhea said is that Dominik is a man and that he is all hers, while Rhea has nothing, her real family is "a million miles away," and her other family is now hers. Liv then says Dominik, the Women's World Championship, the women's division and everything Rhea loves is all hers, but Rhea says Liv took a lot of her weak links and left her standing, and now Liv will have to kill her to stop her. Rhea then says that Liv loves the sound of her own voice, and that now "they" know exactly where she and Dominik are. Damian Priest appears behind Dominik and beats him up in the concession area. Liv tries to jump on Priest, but Rhea chases her away while Priest chases Dominik down the stands and punches him over the barricade before getting him in the ring for South of Heaven. Suddenly, Carlito attacks Priest from behind, allowing Dominik to retreat, but Priest quickly gets the upper hand.

Damien Priest beats Carlito. After the match, JD McDonagh attacks Priest from behind, but he gets laid out. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor show up to attack Priest with Liv Morgan in tow. Rhea Ripley shows up, kicks Carlito in the gut, then confronts Finn Balor, who is alone now that Dominik and Liv have retreated. McDonagh takes the superkick in Finn Balor's stead while Finn retreat, and that leads to McDonagh taking a South of Heaven choke slam. Afterwards, Priest and Rhea hug, but Dominik tries to attack them from the top rope. Priest catches Dominik, then hands him off to Rhea. Liv Morgan saves Dominik from a Riptide, and they flee to the ramp.

Backstage, Ivy Nile meets with Maxxine Dupri and tells her not to be at ringside tonight, then offers Maxxine a spot on Chad Gable's new team after a chat with Gable. Maxxine says she is staying with Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa). Ivy says she thought she would say that, then leaves.

He says that The Wyatt Sicks had their debut where it all began and that "he" was there. Bo says something big is happening, but the work is not done. Bo then sees a message from the nearby television. A voice says the work must continue, and Bo Dallas says "My life for you" repeatedly. The voice says "There you are," and the footage ends.

He also says that Kofi is using Odyssey to replace Woods, but Woods asks Kross if he is tired of coming out week after week to try to drive a wedge between The New Day, as it will not work. Woods proposes a tag team match, but Kofi makes it a six-man tag to prevent interference. Kross says the devil's work is never done, and accepts the challenge.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by Drew McIntyre, who says that he is looking to the future when Pearce mentions that CM Punk is currently having travel issues and wants to know why Randy Orton is competing for the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre says Orton is a snake in the grass and that he will take care of this, then promises to Pearce he will be on his best behavior.

American Made (Julius and Brutus Creed) beat Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) after Ivy Nile attacks Maxxine Dupri from out of nowhere. Oba Femi is seen in the crowd before the match. Also before the match, Chad Gable is seen in Paris, France having gotten away from Wyatt Sicks - with whom he has unfinished business - to watch the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In footage from earlier today, Jackie Redmond interviews Pete Dunne. Dunne says he was never Sheamus' wings and that Sheamus was under his, and that he held him down while going on the run on a lifetime and leaving him with a terrible gimmick. He also show resentment towards Sheamus as well as towards how Ridge Holland left, then says he never wants to hear the name "Butch" again. He says that if he has to beat Sheamus to not hear that name again, then so be it.

We get a closer look at "Big" Bronson Reed and the destructive power of his six Tsunamis on Seth "Freakin'" Rollins on Raw Physics.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce tells "Big" Bronson Reed he is lucky to only pay a fine, but Bronson says he had to make his own opportunities and that breaking Seth "Freakin'" Rollins was part of it. He tells Pearce to find him an opponent, or he will find his next victim.

We hear from Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane). Iyo says that Damage CTRL controls the future even though they have been cut in half, and that they are the most dominant force in the women's division as they take another step to becoming champions again. Kairi Sane says what happened to Dakota Kai will be repaid tenfold and that they will take Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville's dreams. Iyo Sky says that as long as they run Raw, they will never acheive their glory. We then hear against from Zoey, Shayna and Sonya, who now call themselves "The Pure Fusion Collective," with Sonya saying that they will destroy just like they recently have and Baszler stating they should already be women's tag champs. She says they have ripped through the division before and will do it again, and Zoey says they are the most dominant force and not Damage CTRL.

In memory of Kevin Sullivan, 1949 - 2024.

Candice Michelle is seen in the crowd before the next match.

The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) watch the next match from ringside as it is announced that Dakota Kai will be out for ten weeks with a torn meniscus.

Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) vs. The Pure Fusion Collective (Zoey Stark and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler) in a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship #1 contender's match ends in a no-contest after Isla Dawn gets involved in the match in response to Alba Fyre getting inadvertently superkicked by Zoey Stark. After the match, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn attack both teams.

Backstage, R-Truth meets with The Miz and says he has gotten The Miz a match with Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. However, the nearby monitor shows The Miz vs. "Big" Bronson Reed, and it takes Randy Orton randomly passing by to tell The Miz that he has got this to get Miz fired up.

Randy Orton heads to the ring. Orton talks about how he won the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time twenty years ago and became the youngest in history, and says that history will repeat itself at Bash In Berlin when he becomes a fifteen-time world champion. Gunther shows up, and Orton tells everyone to take a picture and remember the moment, because he will beat Gunther in a few weeks and make Raw his new home. Gunther acknowledges Orton as one of the greatest of all time, then says that Orton wasted all of his potential and states that this is a new era as well as his era, where there is no room for people who waste their potential. He tells Orton that he will not play a role in the future of his era, but Orton admits he has never been perfect and has made more mistakes than just about anyone in the locker room, even though he has owned up and changed course. He says that has led to him having five kids and a "smoke show" of a wife waiting for him at home and that he has done "pretty damn good" for himself. Gunther says that Orton is very predictable, and predicts that he will give Orton the beating of a lifetime in Berlin, Germany and that Orton will never be World Heavyweight Champion again. He says that when it really matters, Orton always screws it up, as his grandfather and father were both "screw-ups" just like him, who he calls "the biggest screw-up of them all." As Orton stares down Gunther, Drew McIntyre shows up. Orton hits Gunther with an RKO as soon as Gunther turns his back on Orton. McIntyre has no choice but to run away from Punk, and he flees through the crowd.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Sheamus, who says that he understands a lot yet cannot understand why Pete Dunne has so much beef against him. He says he built Dunne up, but he fell off the WWE wagon as soon as he got injured. As Sheamus says that Pete Dunne wants to make a name for himself at his expense, Ludwig Kaiser shows up and tells Sheamus it is far from over between them and that he will put an end to him. Suddenly, Sheamus is attacked from behind by Dunne with a shillelagh. Kaiser backs off, and referees show up before Dunne strikes Sheamus' hand.

Backstage, CM Punk notices an angry Gunther before being interviewed by Cathy Kelley, who says that there were no travel issues on their flight to tonight's venue. Punk says that he had to tell a "little white lie" to get his hands on Drew McIntyre, because he knew that McIntyre would not show up if he did. He says that Drew can keep the bracelet, but he does not want him mentioning his family without facing any consequences and this will not stop until he gets his hands on him. He says that McIntyre wants to run from a fight that he picked, then looks at the leather belt in his hands and says he has a way to make everyone happy.

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry and his son Jacob Henry are seen in the crowd.

"Big" Bronson Reed beats The Miz. After the match, Bronson Reed goes for another Tsunami. R-Truth gets The Miz out of the way, but he ends up taking the bullet as well as the brunt of another Tsunami. Officials show up as Bronson goes for a third Tsunami, but Bronson hits it anyway and goes up for a fourth. R-Truth is moved away from the corner as Bronson goes for a fifth, and General Manager Adam Pearce has to talk Bronson down. Bronson just walks to another corner and hits a fifth Tsunami despite this, and this ends Bronson's path of destruction. Pearce threatens to fine or suspend Bronson on his way out, but Bronson ignores Pearce, goes back to the ring and hits a sixth Tsunami.

Backstage, "Main Event" Jey Uso tells Sami Zayn that all he has to do is be himself and he will be champion again. Sami says he will have to win twice, but Jey says he will win twice and then they will go for tag team gold.

We hear from The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Carlito, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan). They say there are no leaders and no egos, and that Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley are a joke and that they will pay at Bash In Berlin. Finn Balor then tells Priest to watch out, as "Backstabber Balor" is about.

Backstage, we hear from Bron Breakker, who says that he will do things "the good old-fashioned way" and that actions speak louder than words. He says that he is a badass and that it is time to do badass thing.

Bron Breakker retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn two falls to one (2-1) in a two-out-of-three falls match. Sami Zayn earns the first fall with a Helluva Kick out of nowhere. Bron Breakker earns the second fall with a Gorilla Press Slam followed by two Spears.
