Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for August 12, 2026

Will Ospreay heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Ospreay talks about his debut in Arena Mexico from last year when his grandfather passed away and how he will leave every single bit of himself in the ring for the fans, then says he is here to set an example. He mentions Kenny Omega not being in the building in Mexico and watching at home, and tells him that he will pull the trigger before stating that Omega is backstage and calling Omega out. Don Callis shows up instead. Callis talks about he turned Omega into the AEW World Champion and had a reign unmatched in AEW history until Omega decided he could do it without him. He talks about how he betrayed Omega and did more to him than diverticulitis ever could and how he brought Ospreay to AEW to face Omega before stating that Ospreay owes everything to him. Callis tells Ospreay that the road to All In will not be paved with gold, but with his own blood. Rocky "Azucar" Romero, Trent Beretta, Jake Doyle and Mark Davis flood out from the crowd into the ring and gang up on Ospreay. All of a sudden, Kenny Omega shows up with a pipe and overpowers the foursome before rearing back with the pipe at Ospreay and stopping short of striking. Omega says he felt that, and says that he has a way with words when he talks from the heart. He says he feels everything Ospreay says, but Ospreay wears his heart on his sleeve. Omega tells Ospreay that he warned him about Don Callis, Jon Moxley and MJF, and that this has made him a fool and will cause him to lose everything. Omega says that this is not the man he wants to fight at Wembley Stadium, then helps him up and tells him that he cannot help him like this again, as from here on out, it is just the two of them. Ospreay says he appreciates the help, but he did not ask for it, and he will not need it. He thanks Omega and leaves.

MJF beats "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne and "Speedball" Mike Bailey to enter the #2 spot in the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In by submission after tossing Speedball out of the ring following an Ultima Weapon to Nick Wayne and making Nick Wayne submit to Salt of the Earth. After the match, MJF says he told everyone what was going to happen and that "the champ always wins." He says he has never lost a day in his life, which is why he is walking into Wembley Stadium and leaving with the Casino Gauntlet Contract. When MJF says there is nothing anybody can do to stop him, Andrade el Idolo's theme hits, then MJF laughs, proving it was part of a joke. MJF says Andrade is not showing up because he beat him up last week. MJF also says that Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay are afraid of him, and that sooner or later, they will learn the hard way that he is "The One True Champion."

We see The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) at The Brawling Birds' (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) bar. They belittle The Brawling Birds and states that they have never beaten The Divine Dominion, and that they have a taste of the hell that awaits them, and that The Brawling Birds' greatest moment will be their greatest massacre. The Divine Dominion then raise a toast to The Brawling Birds before dropping it to the floor and stating they had a good run.

Backstage, Mick Foley interviews The Bang Bang Gang ("Switchblade Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin). Jay White says the stars aligned perfectly for him at Forbidden Door, then says The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay) and The Death Riders' (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir) days are numbered after getting the best of them. He says he and David Finlay go one-on-one more time, then hopes that Jon Moxley makes it through tonight so he can beat him to become Continental Champion.

"Switchblade" Jay White beats David Finlay to advance in the Continental Challenge Cup despite taking a hard landing on his neck from a German suplex.

Tony Schiavone introduces "Hangman" Adam Page and Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) to the ring. After Brodido celebrate being champions again, Hangman asks for permission to speak Spanish before Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland suddenly show up. Prince Nana tells Tony Schiavone his breath stinks before telling him to get out of the ring, then declares that he and Swerve will be asking the questions going forward. Swerve thinks Hangman and Brodido have become friends through "trauma bonding" after having beef with all of them, mentioning his history with them all before asking Hangman what his legacy will be now. Hangman says he has been watching Swerve for the past year and states that Swerve should not be one to talk about results after his heinous actions this year that he has nothing to show for. Suddenly, The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) and The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, "Vanilla Baby" Blake Christian, "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson) show up, and Ricochet says they are on trios business while questioning why Prince Nana and Swerve are in the ring in the first place, given his history with Swerve. He also says that Brodido and Hangman stole the Trios titles from them, as Toa Liona's shoulders were not on the mat, and that the titles should still be theirs. Ricochet then demands that The Demand get a championship rematch. He then tells Swerve to get out of the ring as he has nine guys out here who all hate him and even more people who hate him in the back, and as Swerve leaves, he says that Brody King does all the barking while Ricochet is the bitch. Hangman says Swerve has a point, and dares The Demand to get in the ring and take the Trios titles back. Ricochet teases doing that at first, but says that The Demand and The Lethal Twist will do it on their time.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale. All of a sudden, Willow is attacked from out of nowhere with the Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament championship by Mercedes Moné.

Backstage, we hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia, "The Problem" Marina Shafir). Claudio says the Continental Challenge Cup is unpredictable and that whoever he faces, he will beat them, as The Death Riders are competing against themselves. Moxley says a number of crazy things can happen in the tournament, especially when he and "Jungle" Jack Perry roll the dice in Las Vegas tonight. He wants to know if Perry is ready like he is, and says that fortune shows a habit of doing just as she pleases.

Kris Statlander beats Viva Van. After the match, Mick Foley interviews Statlander, and we find out that Noelle Foley is in the front row. Statlander learns she will be in a four-way match for the TBS Championship next week against Maya World, Hikaru Shida and Persephone. Statlander says she feels great and ready to fight, and proud that Maya World is TBS Champion. As for Persephone and Shida, she will make them bend over backwards and shove their heads up their asses for everything they have done to her. Statlander says she was made for the TBS Champonship and has even fought wars for it, then Persephone shows up for the next match along with Shida. Before they can attack Statlander, Thunder Rosa shows up, as does Maya World. Statlander and Mick Foley head to the back as Shida and Persephone are on the outside.

Thunder Rosa and Maya World beat Persephone and Hikaru Shida after Shida inadvertently hits Persephone with a jumping knee after Maya World dodges. After the match, Kris Statlander celebrates with Maya World and Thunder Rosa.

We hear from Darby Allin, who has no regrets about his World Championship run. He says that Kevin Knight is burning the candle at both ends like he did as World Champion, but he did not win the right way. Darby then says he is willing to go far at Wembley Stadium, and that there is no amount of training to ready Knight for their match. He says that if Knight can beat him, then maybe he will live up to the potential that he saw in him all those years ago.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Don Callis and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher. After stating that "Speedball" Mike Bailey brought out the best in him, he is still champion, and he hopes to defend the title a fourth time in a fourth country before All In. Don Callis says that there is a former champion who has yet to get a rematch. Fletcher finds out that at All In, he will defend against "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada as well as another former International Champion in a three-way match. Fletcher is livid, but Okada says the title will stay in the family. Fletcher angrily leaves.

Jon Moxley beats "Jungle" Jack Perry by submission with a sleeper hold in a first-time-ever match to advance in the AEW Continental Challenge Cup.

He says that Yoshiki Inamura was selfish, spineless and only cared about his big plan to become NXT Champion instead of their friendship. Briggs says he tried to be the best friend he could be, but Inamura did not care, and that he tried to make him a champion, but he failed. He says there is no honor in NXT and that he is not a man of honor; he is a man of mayhem, and he should be champion, but he is not because of Inamura. He then challenges Inamura to put his honor on the line next week in a Philadelphia Street Fight. Inamura shows up and Briggs was his friend, but now, he is a jackass. He accepts Briggs' challenge, saying the honor in a Philadelphia Street Fight will be in beating him. Inamura then attacks Briggs, starting a brawl, and security shows up only to get beaten up as Inamura gets the last word.

In footage from earlier today, Kelly Kincaid interviews Jordynne Grace. Unfortunately, she projects her insecurities onto other women. Jordynne goes on to say that real strength does not feed off other people's weakness, and that she will get in the ring with Blake to show her and the fans that there is no blueprint for a champion. Backstage, Blake Monroe and General Manager Ava have watched this interview. Next week, Blake Monroe will have a face-to-face meeting with Jordynne Grace.

Alba Fyre beats Kendal Grey. During the match, "All Ego" Ethan Page heads to the ring for a closer look as he and Chelsea Green watch the match from backstage. After the match, "All Ego" Ethan Page says that it is a shame that Kendal Grey is all Tavion Heights had to offer and that she does match up to the Canadian standard of excellence. Tavion shows up and says that while she respect Kendal and her achievements, she is not her pick. Instead, it is Tyra Mae Steele, who nearly slams Ethan from behind and goes to town on both Alba and Piper Niven. Tavion gets Ethan back in the ring, and Ethan gets a German suplex.

Backstage, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) meet with General Manager Ava and the personal concierge George Iceman. Jacy finds out she is defending the Total Nonstop Action Knockouts World Championship against Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance at Heatwave. Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 12, 2024

Rhea Ripley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Rhea says she has had to think about what happened at SummerSlam and felt embarrassment, heartbreak, and right now, she is "pissed the hell off." She says that "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio stabbed her in the back, then says it just was not deep enough. As for Liv Morgan, Rhea says Liv managed to run away with the Women's World Championship, but she cannot run forever. Rhea says it is time to remind them exactly who she is, then Liv Morgan and Dominik make their presence known from the skybox. Liv says Dominik has some things to get off his chest, and Dominik says she left Rhea because he is a man and deserves to be treated like one, and that Rhea tried to change him instead of letting him be himself. He says that being bossed around and calling Rhea "Mami" was embarrassing, but now he has a girl who calls him "Daddy" who lets him be himself and do whatever he wants when he wants. Dominik also says that Liv also did something Rhea could never do: help him finally beat his deadbeat dad Rey Mysterio. Rhea says she is proud of Dominik for everything that he has accomplished in the last couple of years and says that watching him grow into the man he has become is one of her biggest accomplishments. She says that Dominik finally did something for himself and won championship gold, but she also wanted Dominik to beat Rey on his own so there would be no excuses. She also says that she should be proud of Dominik for making his own decisions, then says it will be the last decision Dominik will ever make. Liv says the only true thing Rhea said is that Dominik is a man and that he is all hers, while Rhea has nothing, her real family is "a million miles away," and her other family is now hers. Liv then says Dominik, the Women's World Championship, the women's division and everything Rhea loves is all hers, but Rhea says Liv took a lot of her weak links and left her standing, and now Liv will have to kill her to stop her. Rhea then says that Liv loves the sound of her own voice, and that now "they" know exactly where she and Dominik are. Damian Priest appears behind Dominik and beats him up in the concession area. Liv tries to jump on Priest, but Rhea chases her away while Priest chases Dominik down the stands and punches him over the barricade before getting him in the ring for South of Heaven. Suddenly, Carlito attacks Priest from behind, allowing Dominik to retreat, but Priest quickly gets the upper hand.

Damien Priest beats Carlito. After the match, JD McDonagh attacks Priest from behind, but he gets laid out. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor show up to attack Priest with Liv Morgan in tow. Rhea Ripley shows up, kicks Carlito in the gut, then confronts Finn Balor, who is alone now that Dominik and Liv have retreated. McDonagh takes the superkick in Finn Balor's stead while Finn retreat, and that leads to McDonagh taking a South of Heaven choke slam. Afterwards, Priest and Rhea hug, but Dominik tries to attack them from the top rope. Priest catches Dominik, then hands him off to Rhea. Liv Morgan saves Dominik from a Riptide, and they flee to the ramp.

Backstage, Ivy Nile meets with Maxxine Dupri and tells her not to be at ringside tonight, then offers Maxxine a spot on Chad Gable's new team after a chat with Gable. Maxxine says she is staying with Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa). Ivy says she thought she would say that, then leaves.

We see VHS cassette footage of Bo Dallas. He says everything has come full circle and that things have been heavy lately, especially after last week in Baltimore, Maryland, where it all started. He says that The Wyatt Sicks had their debut where it all began and that "he" was there. Bo says something big is happening, but the work is not done. Bo then sees a message from the nearby television. A voice says the work must continue, and Bo Dallas says "My life for you" repeatedly. The voice says "There you are," and the footage ends.

After the match, The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering) shows up, and Karrion Kross and asks if this is another day for more lies and misdirection, and that Kofi Kingston is trying to use Odyssey Jones to respect Big E. He also says that Kofi is using Odyssey to replace Woods, but Woods asks Kross if he is tired of coming out week after week to try to drive a wedge between The New Day, as it will not work. Woods proposes a tag team match, but Kofi makes it a six-man tag to prevent interference. Kross says the devil's work is never done, and accepts the challenge.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by Drew McIntyre, who says that he is looking to the future when Pearce mentions that CM Punk is currently having travel issues and wants to know why Randy Orton is competing for the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre says Orton is a snake in the grass and that he will take care of this, then promises to Pearce he will be on his best behavior.

American Made (Julius and Brutus Creed) beat Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) after Ivy Nile attacks Maxxine Dupri from out of nowhere. Oba Femi is seen in the crowd before the match. Also before the match, Chad Gable is seen in Paris, France having gotten away from Wyatt Sicks - with whom he has unfinished business - to watch the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In footage from earlier today, Jackie Redmond interviews Pete Dunne. Dunne says he was never Sheamus' wings and that Sheamus was under his, and that he held him down while going on the run on a lifetime and leaving him with a terrible gimmick. He also show resentment towards Sheamus as well as towards how Ridge Holland left, then says he never wants to hear the name "Butch" again. He says that if he has to beat Sheamus to not hear that name again, then so be it.

We get a closer look at "Big" Bronson Reed and the destructive power of his six Tsunamis on Seth "Freakin'" Rollins on Raw Physics.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce tells "Big" Bronson Reed he is lucky to only pay a fine, but Bronson says he had to make his own opportunities and that breaking Seth "Freakin'" Rollins was part of it. He tells Pearce to find him an opponent, or he will find his next victim.

We hear from Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane). Iyo says that Damage CTRL controls the future even though they have been cut in half, and that they are the most dominant force in the women's division as they take another step to becoming champions again. Kairi Sane says what happened to Dakota Kai will be repaid tenfold and that they will take Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville's dreams. Iyo Sky says that as long as they run Raw, they will never acheive their glory. We then hear against from Zoey, Shayna and Sonya, who now call themselves "The Pure Fusion Collective," with Sonya saying that they will destroy just like they recently have and Baszler stating they should already be women's tag champs. She says they have ripped through the division before and will do it again, and Zoey says they are the most dominant force and not Damage CTRL.

In memory of Kevin Sullivan, 1949 - 2024.

Candice Michelle is seen in the crowd before the next match.

The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) watch the next match from ringside as it is announced that Dakota Kai will be out for ten weeks with a torn meniscus.

Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) vs. The Pure Fusion Collective (Zoey Stark and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler) in a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship #1 contender's match ends in a no-contest after Isla Dawn gets involved in the match in response to Alba Fyre getting inadvertently superkicked by Zoey Stark. After the match, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn attack both teams.

Backstage, R-Truth meets with The Miz and says he has gotten The Miz a match with Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship. However, the nearby monitor shows The Miz vs. "Big" Bronson Reed, and it takes Randy Orton randomly passing by to tell The Miz that he has got this to get Miz fired up.

Randy Orton heads to the ring. Orton talks about how he won the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time twenty years ago and became the youngest in history, and says that history will repeat itself at Bash In Berlin when he becomes a fifteen-time world champion. Gunther shows up, and Orton tells everyone to take a picture and remember the moment, because he will beat Gunther in a few weeks and make Raw his new home. Gunther acknowledges Orton as one of the greatest of all time, then says that Orton wasted all of his potential and states that this is a new era as well as his era, where there is no room for people who waste their potential. He tells Orton that he will not play a role in the future of his era, but Orton admits he has never been perfect and has made more mistakes than just about anyone in the locker room, even though he has owned up and changed course. He says that has led to him having five kids and a "smoke show" of a wife waiting for him at home and that he has done "pretty damn good" for himself. Gunther says that Orton is very predictable, and predicts that he will give Orton the beating of a lifetime in Berlin, Germany and that Orton will never be World Heavyweight Champion again. He says that when it really matters, Orton always screws it up, as his grandfather and father were both "screw-ups" just like him, who he calls "the biggest screw-up of them all." As Orton stares down Gunther, Drew McIntyre shows up. Orton hits Gunther with an RKO as soon as Gunther turns his back on Orton. McIntyre has no choice but to run away from Punk, and he flees through the crowd.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Sheamus, who says that he understands a lot yet cannot understand why Pete Dunne has so much beef against him. He says he built Dunne up, but he fell off the WWE wagon as soon as he got injured. As Sheamus says that Pete Dunne wants to make a name for himself at his expense, Ludwig Kaiser shows up and tells Sheamus it is far from over between them and that he will put an end to him. Suddenly, Sheamus is attacked from behind by Dunne with a shillelagh. Kaiser backs off, and referees show up before Dunne strikes Sheamus' hand.

Backstage, CM Punk notices an angry Gunther before being interviewed by Cathy Kelley, who says that there were no travel issues on their flight to tonight's venue. Punk says that he had to tell a "little white lie" to get his hands on Drew McIntyre, because he knew that McIntyre would not show up if he did. He says that Drew can keep the bracelet, but he does not want him mentioning his family without facing any consequences and this will not stop until he gets his hands on him. He says that McIntyre wants to run from a fight that he picked, then looks at the leather belt in his hands and says he has a way to make everyone happy.

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry and his son Jacob Henry are seen in the crowd.

"Big" Bronson Reed beats The Miz. After the match, Bronson Reed goes for another Tsunami. R-Truth gets The Miz out of the way, but he ends up taking the bullet as well as the brunt of another Tsunami. Officials show up as Bronson goes for a third Tsunami, but Bronson hits it anyway and goes up for a fourth. R-Truth is moved away from the corner as Bronson goes for a fifth, and General Manager Adam Pearce has to talk Bronson down. Bronson just walks to another corner and hits a fifth Tsunami despite this, and this ends Bronson's path of destruction. Pearce threatens to fine or suspend Bronson on his way out, but Bronson ignores Pearce, goes back to the ring and hits a sixth Tsunami.

Backstage, "Main Event" Jey Uso tells Sami Zayn that all he has to do is be himself and he will be champion again. Sami says he will have to win twice, but Jey says he will win twice and then they will go for tag team gold.

We hear from The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Carlito, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan). They say there are no leaders and no egos, and that Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley are a joke and that they will pay at Bash In Berlin. Finn Balor then tells Priest to watch out, as "Backstabber Balor" is about.

Backstage, we hear from Bron Breakker, who says that he will do things "the good old-fashioned way" and that actions speak louder than words. He says that he is a badass and that it is time to do badass thing.

Sami Zayn earns the first fall with a Helluva Kick out of nowhere. Bron Breakker earns the second fall with a Gorilla Press Slam followed by two Spears. Collision Course - Collision recap for August 12, 2023

We hear from The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens), Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and CM Punk before tonight's show.

Tony Schiavone interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks in the ring. It is announced that Starks has been suspended for 30 days for beating Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat with a belt after last week's main event. Starks says there are consequences for actions and that he beat Steamboat for costing him the match. He also says that he knew AEW would suspend him as they have a history of "screwing over good guys like him" and that he has a manager's license, and that while he is suspended from wrestling, he will still be here because this is his show and his legacy. He says that while the fans do not have to like or love him, they will respect him, then tells CM Punk that blood is on his hands for bringing Steamboat to the ring, as he is the reason Steamboat got ten lashes. He says that he can live with his loss while asking CM Punk if he can do the same, then says CM Punk wants Superman but is not bulletproof. Starks then proclaims that he will set AEW on fire and that he will start next week, and he will bring a war to the front door and everyone will understand who he is.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson) with a Famouser to both members of The Iron Savages at the same time. After the match, Max Caster says that tonight, the best two-man team in wrestling has returned, and that they will be wrestling again next week on Dynamite. He says that while "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn is not with them, his spirit is as they get back to the top of the tag division. Anthony Bowens says that while he and Max Caster got to say goodbye to Daddy Ass, the fans did not, and he asks the fans to make some noise for the legend that is Billy Gunn before he tells Billy that the world loves him.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Bullet Club Gold ("Switchblade" Jay White, "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn). Juice Robinson says nobody is hotter than they are, and "Switchblade" Jay White say that they are the most elite version of Bullet Club ever. Austin Gunn says that he and Colten will show The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) why they are the best brother tag team in the business, and Colten tells The Young Bucks not to bring superkicks to a gunfight.

Mercedes Martinez and Diamante beat Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander after Martinez pins Willow and Diamante puts her feet on Martinez's back for leverage.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Toni Storm, who admits that she has been out of sorts since losing the AEW Women's World Championship but is a little better due to getting her rematch. She says nobody else in her match is to be trusted, but goes ballistic as soon as Hikaru Shida is mentioned.

Samoa Joe beats Andrew Everett with the Coaquina Clutch. After the match, Samoa Joe says he came looking for the answer of a champion, but is met the deafening silence of a coward. He says that "the Real World Champion is acting like a real bitch right now" and says he started by asking, but now he is going to convince CM Punk.

Christian Cage and Luchasaurus head to the ring. Christian calls the crowd the biggest family reunion he has ever seen and says that everyone is related to each other, then states that LeBron James, not Michael Jordan, is the greatest basketball player of all time, and that he himself is far superior to Ric Flair or any other wrestler from North Carolina. He proclaims that he and Luchasaurus demand respect from the fans and the locker room, then states that he was disrespected by Darby Allin, whom he says will never touch the TNT Championship again. Christian states that he does not care how important the TNT Championship is to Darby or how Darby paints half of his face because he is half-dead inside, for he is building a legacy while Darby is doing kick-flips, and threatens to make Darby fully dead if he goes after him. After Christian threatens to make Darby fully dead if he goes after him, Arn and Brock Anderson show up. Arn states that North Carolina is hollowed ground as well as "Horseman Country" and tells Luchasaurus he is the champion, not Christian. Christian says the most relevant Arn has been recently was when he left him lying in his blood, and while he has put an end to open challenges, he will make an exception for him. Arn says he would answer that challenge if it were twenty years ago, then says that he and Brock Anderson are just getting started before Brock Anderson wrestles Luchasaurus.

Luchasaurus retains the TNT Championship against Brock Anderson. After the match, Darby Allin slides into the ring and hits Luchasaurus with his skateboard. Darby Allin asks Luchasaurus if he has ever had a skateboard up his ass in the last 65 million years before challenging Christian Cage to a match for next week. MJF shows up. After it is announced that MJF is beating Jon Moxley in the polls by a landslide, MJF says that he mourns for the fans' belief in their champion and leader, for today it dies. He says Moxley has made it clear he does not care about the fans, for he is not here tonight, but he is here and he cares, and promises he will always be here. MJF then takes accountability for Moxley's absence tonight, as Moxley is afraid of him and "Dictator John" is swimming in uncharted territory and dealing with a pro wrestler who is more talented than he is and will not look up at the lights for him. MJF says that he cares enough for the fans that he wants Moxley to show up for his job, then calls for the podium to be moved so he can lay down in the ring. MJF says he did not start his campaign to have a feud with him, and that he felt AEW needed quality leadership. He says that while Moxley is a good wrestler, he is not a good leader and is more of a rabid dog who has caught the finest automobile in the world in the form of the AEW World Championship but does not know what to do with it. He then says that if Moxley cared enough for the fans, he would fork the keys over to a real leader such as himself. Suddenly, Moxley shows up. MJF tells his staff to cut Moxley's potential entrances in the crowd off, but Moxley comes out of the entrance tunnel, enters the ring and attacks MJF before hitting him with the Paradigm Shift.
