Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for August 12, 2021

Wolfgang beats "Flash" Morgan Webster.

We hear from Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala, who announces that in two weeks' time, Joe Coffey and Rampage Brown will settle their score to decide who is toughest, and the only way to end their match is by knockout or submission.

Backstage, Dani Luna and Mark Andrews admit that "Flash" Morgan Webster put on one hell of a show against Wolfgang earlier when Isla Dawn shows up from behind. Dani Luna is weirded out by Isla Dawn's weird behavior.

In footage from earlier this week at the UK Performance Center, Trent Seven says it has been a long time coming against Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley), saying they cannot call themselves champions until they beat them, and Tyler Bate says that he is on his way to becoming a Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion in NXT UK while Seven will get his first NXT UK title.

In footage from earlier this week, Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala meets with Jinny and Joseph Conners. In two weeks' time, Jinny will get her rematch against Aoife Valkyrie, and it will be in a no-disqualification match. Jinny says she looks forward to destroying Aoife Valkyrie, but Joseph Conners finds out he will be locked inside a cage during the match. Jinny goes from calling Scala "a smart, smart boy" to "a stupid, stupid boy," and Joseph Conners tells Sid Scala this does not change the outcome.

Amale beats Nina Samuels.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Ilja Dragunov and Walter leading up to their NXT UK Championship Match at NXT TakeOver 36.

We hear from Symbiosis (Eddie Dennis, Primate, T-Bone) in backstage footage from two weeks ago. Eddie Dennis is soon confronted by a crazed Saxton Huxley, who keeps uttering "Better luck next time."

We hear from Meiko Satomura, who says that next week, Stevie Turner will challenge her for the NXT UK Women's Championship. She says she has asked the women's division to step up, and she says Stevie has delivered. She says that Stevie is talented, but has a lot to learn about respect, which she plans to teach Stevie a very important lesson next week.

In backstage footage from earlier this week, we hear from Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley). Lewis Howley says that they are in the WWE warehouse and surrounded by history, and Sam Stoker says they will be cement themselves as the best tag team in WWE history and make room for their own history in the warehouse. Howley says that Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) may be considered the best tag team in the division, but after next week, they will be the best tag team they have beaten.

Noam Dar beats Mark Andrews two falls to one (2-1) to advance in the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship #1 Contender's Tournament. During Round 3, Teoman and Rohan Raja show up to watch the match from the ramp, but are gone by the beginning of Round 4. Noam Dar scores the first fall with seventeen seconds left in Round 3 with a knee bar to Mark Andrews' left leg, which Mark Andrews injured in the beginning of the round. Mark Andrews scores the second fall of the match with an O'Connor Roll with 1:22 left in Round 4. Noam Dar scores the third and final fall with 22 seconds left in Round 5 after mouthing off at Dani Luna and hitting Andrews with a back kick followed by the Nova Roller when Andrews tries to take advantage.
