Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Dark Order. As John Silver is about to talk about the match, "Hangman" Adam Page shows up and apologizes to The Dark Order for costing them their shot at the tag team titles, as the problems he has with The Elite are problems he created. Britt Baker tells Red Velvet that she is a different wrestler now as she is now Women's Champion, then tells her they will have their match on Rampage next Friday. Omega then calls Page "a try-hard just like [the fans]," and that The Elite have entertained the idea of taking him back and overlooking some things, then says that Page does not fit the bill for The Elite, who does not have any losers or failures in their group. Page hits Omega in the face, and The Elite gang up on Page before The Good Brothers hit him with a Magic Killer. After the match, Kamille and Leyla Hirsch have a staredown in the middle of the ring.

We hear from Jade Cargill and "Smart" Mark Sterling. Sterling says Jade is not wrestling because the two of them have been diversifying their portfolio as of late and have made Jade's brand so successful that Jade is ready to wrestle again. Sterling then announces that Jade Cargill will have her return match next week on AEW Dark Elevation.

Malakai Black beats "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. Before the match begins, Tony Schiavone announces that QT Marshall was dissatisfied with how he read his apology announcement on air that he will not apologize to him this week. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Cody, who says that legacy is a funny thing and that when he got into wrestling, all he wanted to do was win the title they took away from his father. He says that goals change and that time flies as he tries to get back to his feet, and Cody has to use a crutch that is handed to him to get back up. As he limps, he talks about how he met The Elite and how everyone laughed at them when they tried to start AEW. He then says that now, AEW is destination viewing and not just alternative wrestling, and that they have set the table and new people can eat. He says that he has been lucky for the last three years, then says that he loves The Elite very deeply and will be forever tethered to them, then calls Daily's Place "the AEW Ampitheatre." He also says there is no better place than here and no better time than now to thanks the fans for making Daily's Place special, but as he takes off his boots to leave them in the ring, Malakai Black returns to hit him in the back with the crutch.
