Sting and Darby beat 2.0 (Jeff Parker and Matt Lee) in a Texas Tornado tag match after Sting gets put through a table only to get right back up, hit 2.0 with a double Scorpion Death Drop and put them in a double Scorpion Deathlock. The match is Sting's first on TNT in more than twenty years, since his match against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the final episode of WCW Monday Nitro.
In footage from earlier tonight, Sammy Guevara makes his big announcement: he proposes to his fiance. We hear from Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard. Spears says that he will make Sammy's fiance Pam an honorary member of The Pinnacle for one night, and that also for one night, he will let her be on top.
Sammy Guevara beats Shawn Spears. During the match, it is announced that there will be a special edition of AEW Dark Elevation airing tomorrow night on YouTube at 7 PM Eastern/6 PM Central in anticipation of this week's Rampage.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Christian Cage when Don Callis shows up. Don Callis congratulates Christian Cage on winning and getting his championship rematch with Kenny Omega at All Out while stating nothing has changed, but Christian says Callis is not in his head and that he is in Omega's head so much it isn't even funny. He says that he has already taken the Impact World title and plans to take the AEW World title, then says things have never changed and that Callis is and always will be a "carny piece of shit."
We hear from Dante Martin, who says that he took Kenny Omega to his absolute limit and that he will soon become a name that everyone knows.
Tony Schiavone interviews founder of American Top Team Dan Lambert, who says that AEW has jumped aboard the "cancel culture" train and tried to silence him for hurting people's feelings by sending Lance Archer after him. Lambert says he is in the ring with Junior Dos Santos and Andrew Olofsky right now, then tells the locker room to go ahead and jump if they feel froggy before stating that AEW is not the answer to all pro wrestling's family and that the fanbase is not special. He says that AEW's roster is full of loud-mouth wanna-be tough guys who couldn't wrestle their way out of a wet paper bag if their lives depend on it, and says the fans are here so they aren't in their mom's basements or on the dark web. Lance Archer shows up, but he is attacked from behind by The Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page) while America's Top Team point and laugh.
We hear from Chris Jericho, who says he has endured The Labours of Jericho for the past four weeks and has paid the price, but he has survived and won and tonight, he gets the ultimate prize: a one-on-one match with MJF. He may not have his entrance music or the Judas Effect, but he has the momentum and the upper hand against MJF, and he has 500 friends who will sing him to the ring. Jericho says he will never be as good as he is, and tonight, he will "kick [MJF's] bitchy little ass" and beat MJF.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus). During the match, Kenny Omega shows up and hits Marko Stunt with a chair before passing it to Matt Jackson, but Christian Cage shows up and hits Omega with a Spear. After the match, "The Big LG" Doc Gallows carries Christian Cage to the ring, and The Elite attack Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Marko Stunt) and Christian Cage before Omega hits Christian with a One-Winged Angel.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., Rebel and Jamie Hayter. Britt says that when Red Velvet tried to rain on her parade, she had to bring it back up, and that Red Velvet played it dumb against her. Hayter says that she and Britt go way back, and dares Red Velvet to step into the ring with her so she can adjust her attitude. Britt then says that gold is not Red Velvet's color and never will be.
We hear from Matt Hardy, who says that he has beaten Best Friends before and that he will continue to beat them and break their noses if they stick them in his business. We then hear from Orange Cassidy, who says "We'll see about that."
Tony Schiavone interviews Paul Wight in the ring. Schiavone thanks Paul Wight for saving his son Christopher, and Wight says that while it was out of friendship, it felt great to be back in the ring and choke slam Aaron Solow. Paul Wight then prepares to make an announcement, but he is cut off by QT Marshall, who shows up with Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow. Marshall says that in AEW, people don't say things to hype the fans up just to let them down, and while The Factory forgives him, there is a reason Tony Khan hired him as an announcer and not as a wrestler. He also says that he hoped they would not go down this road, but now they have, then says he is privy to information that others do not know about via his backstage producer role and puts up some X-rays showing three different medically implanted devices in his hip and a photo of a 14-inch scar on Paul Wight's hip from attempts to "restore the quality of life Paul Wight once had." Paul Wight says he is not embarrassed about the titanium in his hip or the picture of his scar, then says that for somebody who claims to know a lot, Marshall doesn't know a thing. He then announces that he has gotten with Tony Khan and now has a match at All Out, and that it will be against QT Marshall. A surprised Marshall walks away.
We hear from Jade Cargill and "Smart" Mark Sterling, who have accepted the match against Kiera Hogan at Rampage. Jade Cargill says Miro and Fuego del Sol's match last week, but now, she gets her own fun.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Elite. As Don Callis puts The Elite on a pedestal, Schiavone announces that there will be a Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament where the winner will get a tag team title match against The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) in a steel cage as per Tony Khan.
Taz and Hook are in the ring. Taz introduces the fans to Hook, then introduces "Absolute" Ricky Starks. Starks says that he is on top of the world and will be there for a very long time, then calls out "The Machine" Brian Cage so they can talk man-to-man. It is soon revealed that Cage has been attacked backstage by Powerhouse Hobbs, and that both men are brawling. Taz, Hook and an angry Starks head backstage.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix). PAC tells Andrade el Idolo "anywhere, anytime," and if he wants to face him at All Out, that is all right with him, as it will be in the same place he decimated Kenny Omega. He congratulates Andrade for growing "a pair of bollocks" before asking what makes a man like him think he has a chance against a bastard like him. Andrade and Chavo Guerrero show up with a list of demands and Andrade's own stipulations for the match, and Chavo Guerrero tells Penta and Fenix that even if they win, they will never be champions like Andrade.
Thunder Rosa beats Penelope Ford by submission.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Arn and Brock Anderson. Arn says that things happen quickly in AEW and that one's world can come crashing down in an instant, and says that Malakai Black turned his, Brock and Cody Rhodes' worlds upside down. He then mentions that Brock has a match against Malakai Black, and while Arn thanks Brock for standing up for him, he warns Brock that Malakai that dangerous and experienced. Brock appreciates his father's support, but tells Arn that the match is signed.
We hear from Miro, who says that he did not forgive Fuego del Sol and that he wanted him to earn the contract but accepted a challenge he was not ready for. Miro then says that he will come for all of his opponents if they do not come to him, then tells Eddie Kingston that he wants to talk.
We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that everyone wants a piece of AEW these days and asks what makes people think it is so easy, especially with everything going on right now. Moxley says he is the one who held the AEW World Championship and planted the company flag during dark times, and now everyone is coming for AEW. He says it is time to prove who is on top of the food chain. He then says that if Daniel Garcia wants a taste of the big time, he will give it to him on Rampage, then tells Garcia to ask himself if this is what he really wants and if he wants to be on top in AEW, because it is no joke.
MJF beats Chris Jericho in the Fifth Labour of Jericho - in which Jericho had no entrance msuic and could not use the Judas Effect - with the Salt of the Earth after Jericho stops himself from using the Judas Effect and MJF hits Jericho with it before applying Salt of the Earth for the win.
