He says that after being a victim of office politics, he plans to give an opportunity for all after being called a loser and last resort. He then asks who can beat him.

It's time for Locker Room Talk. Dezmond Xavier and Trey Miguel are the co-hosts for this week, and the two of them almost light up before Madison Rayne tells them not to. Tonight's guests are Ace Austin and Madman Fulton, the latter of whom hogs the couch. Austin admits The Good Brothers may have gotten one over on them, then he catchers The Rascalz laughing. Fulton grabs Trey, and Dez has to stop him. Fulton shoves both of them. Ace Austin decides it is time for him and Fulton to leave, and the two of them leave before things get out of hand. Dez and Trey then extend an invitation to the treehouse to Madison, who declines.

We hear from Sami Callihan, who says that he has been screwed this year and says if it were not for Eddie Edwards, he would be World Champion again. He says that RVD was not at his best because he was in his and Katie Forbes' heads. After saying that they have no idea when he will strike next, Callihan proposes they meet in the ring next week so that he can kick RVD's ass.

We hear from Ethan Carter III, who talks about how he beat Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship while saying that he cannot let go of that moment. He says that this was the last time he was happy, but he cannot let go, and that he gave everything and sacrificed everything only to get pain, regret and hate instead of the respect that he wanted. He says that he cannot be free as long as the TNA World Heavyweight Championship exists, and says that while Moose is a potentially powerful weapon, he hides behind ring robes and is a false idol while he could be just like him. He calls the title "a weight upon his leg" that is causing him to drown, and that he has to let go and destroy the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in order to be free.

Brian Myers beats Willie Mack with a roll-up after grabbing Willie Mack's tights.

We hear from Heath, who tells the fans they have one week to make #Heath4Impact trend so he can team up with Rhino against Reno Scum.

At Wrestle House, Cousin Jake tells Cody Deaner that "Lawrence D" is "Stefan," comparing Larry D's alter-ego to that of Steve Urkel's. Rosemary then shows up for her date with Larry D, then Alisha has a word with Rosemary, saying she is not into Larry D. After Alisha tells Rosemary that she is only breaking John E. Bravo's heart, Taya Valkyrie wakes up and sees Rosemary only to pass out. Tommy Dreamer tells John E. Bravo to make Rosemary his girl before Larry D does. As Rosemary tells Larry D that this never meant to go as far as it has, John E. Bravo confronts and slaps Larry D as Rosemary tries to explain everything. Larry D comes to his senses, then Tommy Dreamer declares it is match time.

At Wrestle House, Larry D beats John E. Bravo with a big right hand. Acey Romero is the referee. After the match, Rosemary tries to explain things, but John E. Bravo says it is his fault for not being honest with Taya Valkyrie. Taya shows up and John E. says he has feelings for Rosemary and that she has feelings for him, too. Taya blames Rosemary for everything that is going on and she did everything to spite her, and challenges Rosemary to a winner-takes-all match next week.

Next week: Taya Valkyrie vs. Rosemary at Wrestle House! Ace Austin and Madman Fulton vs. The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Trey Miguel)! Sami Callihan vs. Rob Van Dam! Eric Young vs. Eddie Edwards for the Impact World Championship!

Deonna Purrazzo retains the Impact Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace two falls to one (2-1) in a 30-minute Iron Match. Deonna scores the second fall to tie it all up by hitting Jordynne with the Knockouts Championship after Jordynne inadvertently lays out the referee. Emergence, Night One - Impact Wrestling recap for August 18, 2020

Rohit Raju beats Chris Bey and TJP after Rohit Raju turns on Chris Bey to win the Impact X Division Championship!

At Wrestle House, Kevin The Monkey and Taya's dog talks about tonight's match at the Wrestle House. Crazzy Steve says the time in the house has made everyone crazy and that he is enjoying it. Meanwhile, Larry D - who calls himself "Lawrence D" - is dressed up in a suit and wearing his own new fragrance "Ring Rust," much to the surprise of Acey Romero, who is still surprised by Larry's change in character from last week.

Backstage, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) say that Ace Austin and Madman Fulton wanted to get their attention since they showed up, and Anderson says that they finally have it. Gallows says that his night in jail, which wasn't his first, fired him up, and that after he and Anderson are done with them, Austin and Fulton will be thanking them.

Moose retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Trey Miguel. After the match, Ethan Carter III gets in the ring and takes Moose down with a reverse DDT before taking the TNA World Heavyweight Championship with him to the back.

Backstage, Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) hand Hernandez back his money and asks for their fair share. Hernandez has the money and tells them that he has more work for them and to come back to see him for it.

We hear from Eric Young, who says he has seen and done it all in Impact and that he is now in his purest form. He says he will not be ignored, and that it will take more than "two years of non-existence" to keep him from getting the World title and becoming his vision.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Eric Young vs. Kurt Angle in a Stretcher Match from May 11, 2015.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs interviews Willie Mack, who says that Rich Swann is too young to retire and that Eric Young comes back just to injure him. Suddenly, Brian Myers hijacks the camera and the interview, and has Jacobs interview him and ask him anything. Myers says he has done everything he needed to do to succeed, but it has only gotten him fired and he is tired of viewed as "a good hand." Myers says he is taking his career and the business back into his hands in a business where major decisions are made by "some out-of-touch 70-year-old man in a goofy production meeting," and that he is most professional wrestler in professional wrestling. Myers is then attacked by Willie Mack.

We hear from Heath, who says that #Heath4Impact should be trending as he needs the job and Rhino would not have been attacked if he was there. He also says he still has kids.

The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) beat Ace Austin and Madman Fulton after Fulton gets his foot stuck in the guardrail at ringside.

At Wrestle House, Alisha Edwards is glad that Taya Valkyrie is planning for a match. Cody Deaner looks in the refrigerator for some beer, but finds out that somebody has stolen their two six-packs for later tonight. When Acey Romero approaches the refrigerator, The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) confront him over the beer. Susie reminds Acey and The Deaners they have a truce, then Larry D gets two drinks and hands one to Rosemary, who is down for a date for next week. Larry D hands John E. Bravo his drink and leaves, then Susie says hello to Cousin Jake before leaving. Jake reminds Cody that the date last week did not go well.

At Wrestle House, Kylie Rae beats Taya Valkyrie despite referee Rosemary favoring Taya. After the match, Rosemary tells Larry D she will see him next week, and Crazzy Steve tells John E. Bravo he is blowing it. The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) realize they need to find out who took their beer.
