Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Chelsea Green. Chelsea shares advice from John Cena: There is no substitute for hard work.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Shawn Michaels. Shawn says that John Cena has always been wonderful with NXT and praises his work ethic, saying he is the hardest-working man anyone will ever meet. He calls Cena "one of the rare good dudes in this line of work."

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Oba Femi. Oba says that he was a big fish in a small pond for a very long time, but tonight is a much bigger stage due to John Cena's very last match. He hopes that Cena's end is his beginning, and that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes views him as a distant future when he has already arrived. He says that Cody's time is up and his time is now.

Sam Roberts and Megan Morant interview Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater. Slater admits he is nervous, but he and Je'Von will make history and show who they are tonight. Je'Von feels the same way, and hopes that tonight proves that they can hang with the big dogs.

We see WWE Superstars at The Children's Inn at NIH Bethesda in Bethesda, Maryland as part of WWE's community outreach.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Trish Stratus. She says that Cena is a once-in-a-generation Superstar and that we will never see another like him again, and that Cena has mastered "the art of the comeback" and has made decisions that have ensured his legacy.

Sam Roberts and Megan Morant interview Sol Ruca. Sol Ruca mentions John Cena picking her for the women's Iron Survivor Challenge, then says that it is time to show that she belongs here with her match against Bayley tonight. She is focused on one day at a time, one night at a time, and tonight, she is focused on Bayley.

Jackie Redmond interviews Stew, the WWE cameraman that John Cena has mentioned for many years. Stew says John Cena is a good man all the way through, which he considers a rarity. He says that John Cena did something great in WWE and that he will continue to do something great. Jackie Redmond then interviews Stephanie McMahon, who says that John Cena is something special and has given his all throughout his career, and that as much of a hero Cena has been in the ring, he has been one outside of the ring through the Make-A-Wish program.

Sam Roberts and Megan Morant interview The Miz. The Miz says that he never got his final match with John Cena despite being an important part of Cena's career, then mentions that only the people who have matches tonight get cappucinos in catering.

Byron Saxton interviews CM Punk. Punk says that John Cena's retirement gave everyone a chance to say goodbye, and tonight is it. He says he would not have missed tonight for the world, and says that legends are always taken overnight. He is proud to have been a small part of Cena's story and career.

Lilian Garcia sings The Star Spangled Banner.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Oba Femi by disqualification after he is suddenly attacked by Drew McIntyre. Oba Femi confronts McIntyre and shoves him to the mat, and Cody hits the Cody Cutter on McIntyre before Oba hits McIntyre with a choke slam. Cody then takes the NXT and WWE Championships and hands the NXT title to Oba before raising his hand. Oba returns the favor and raises Cody's hand.

Indiana Pacers player Tyrese Halliburton, actor Jon Bernthal, and actor and stuntman Chuck Zito are all seen in the crowd.

Sol Ruca beats Bayley after hitting the Sol Snatcher, getting Bayley back into the ring, and reversing a roll-up by Bayley with one of her own.

Michelle McCool, Mark Henry, Kurt Angle, Eve Torres, Trish Stratus, Rob Van Dam, and Sami Zayn are seen in the front row.

Michael Cole thanks Taz, JBL, Corey Graves, Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jim Ross for being among the commentators who called John Cena's matches throughout Cena's career.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee retain the World Tag Team Championships against Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater after Styles catches Slater out of the air for the Styles Clash.

Rapper Metro Boomin and retired Navy SEAL Master Chief and Medal of Honor Recipient Edward Byers are seen in the crowd.

The Miz is suddenly in the ring. He says that John Cena's retirement tour pretends that he does not exist when he was the one to beat John Cena in the same gear he is currently wearing in the main event of WrestleMania 27. R-Truth shows up dressed like John Cena and confronts The Miz for switching around the balls in Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis' tumblr and costing someone an opportunity. The Miz reads out loud the name in the ball in R-Truth's hand: Joe Hendry. Joe Hendry shows up out of nowhere, and The Miz becomes absolutely furious. The Miz swings at Joe Hendry, but Joe Hendry fights back, and after he and R-Truth hit a double Five Knuckle Shuffle, Joe Hendry hits the Standing Ovation on The Miz.

Gunther beats John Cena in Cena's final match by submission following six consecutive sleeper attempts. On the sixth attempt, John Cena faintly smiles, then softly taps out. After the match, the fans chant "Bullshit!" before giving Cena a standing ovation. Cena kisses the ring before the fans chant "Thank you, Cena." John Cena takes a bow before a locker room full of wrestlers, legends, Hall of Famers, producers and officials empties and heads to the ring. CM Punk and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes pay it forward, placing the WWE and World Heavyweight titles on Cena's shoulders. The crowd chants "You fucked up" at first before chanting "Thank you, Cena" again. Cena raises both of the titles up multiple times before handing them back to Cody and Punk. Triple H is booed as he congratulates Cena, and we see a video package chronicling Cena's career. After the video package, Cena takes a bow before leaving his sneakers, his armband and his wristbands in the center of the ring. He high-fives the fans on the way out, then takes one last look around and winks at the camera before taking one final bow and one final salute. John Cena then looks at the camera and says "It's been a pleasure serving you all these years. Thank you." He then heads to the back, and the show fades to black.

Winter is Coming - Collision recap for December 13, 2025

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

Swerve Strickland beats "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander. After the match, Swerve says that the last time he was in Wales, he was AEW World Champion. He says it is time he gets back to being World Champion, as he did not come back to face off against The Don Callis Family or The Opps (Samoa Joe, Hook, Powerhouse Hobbs, Katsuyori Shibata). He says that he is back for the AEW World Championship, then tells Samoa Joe that his days are numbered and that he is the most dangerous man in AEW, and that he is declaring for top contendership for the title.

Backstage, we hear from Timeless Love Bombs ("Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa), who say that that you cannot have a tag team toast without them and that there are here to wet your whistle.

Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter beat Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue).

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter, who both immediately agree on a Women's World Championship match at Worlds End. Hayter says the woman that Statlander teamed with tonight will not be her opponent.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita in the Blue League of the Continental Classic ends in a draw. Both men earn one point, and both men are still tied in first place with seven points apiece. After the match, both men continue to slug it out, and more referees show up to restore order. Members of The Death Riders and The Don Callis Family also show up.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews JetSpeed ("The Jet" Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey). Kevin Knight knew they would face each other, but he has respect for Speedball and that tonight will be special. Speedball says he needs six points to get to the finals - as does Kevin Knight - and expects Knight not to hold back.

Tony Schiavone interviews The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) in the ring. Willow and Harley mention their history from the past year, then they are interrupted by Timeless Love Bombs ("Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa). As Toni states that both teams gave the fans a fight to remember, Mercedes Moné suddenly shows up and says there cannot be a championship celebration without her, and reminds them that her team won Blood and Guts after Mina tells her to shut up. Mercedes refuses to get in the ring when challenged to a match, but Mercedes says she does not need friends and that she will bring a pack of killers next week.

Backstage, we hear from Ricochet, who says that 2025 has been good to him and that 2026 will be even better when he enters the Dynamite Diamond Ring battle royal, wins the diamond ring and wins the AEW World Championship.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey beats "The Jet" Kevin Knight via pinfall in the Gold League of the Continental Classic. "Speedball" Mike Bailey earns three points and has six points in total, while "The Jet" Kevin Knight still has three points in total.

Backstage, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher says he had all the momentum in the Gold League, but it is now ruined. He says that if he has to bring it to a member of his own family, he will do it, and he will get his momentum back. We hear from PAC, who says that while he is in awe at what Fletcher wants to be, he does not care how brilliant his matches are, as he is about to dip his toe in a very difficult pool and nothing brilliant is going to happen, as he is on another level.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for December 13, 2025

Dustin Starr interviews Diana Taylor at the announce desk to start today's show. Diana is glad to have the women's championship back where it belongs, and says that Nyxx lost it so easily that she did not deserve it. As Diana states that there is nobody in the back who can touch her for the belt, Main Event Money (Main Event Bradley, CJ Money, Mama Money) shows up, and Main Event Bradley states that the only reason Diana is a three-peat champion is because Mama Money was not involved. He calls Mama Money the best women's wrestler in Memphis Wrestling and declares that Mama Money will win the women's title and bring more money to Main Event Money. Diana says that she knows how Main Event Money works and that she has her own friends: Xya Wolfe and Raven Black. Bradley says he feels like beating up women today, and challenges them to a six-person tag match.

Diana Taylor, Xya Wolfe and Raven Black beat Main Event Money (Main Event Bradley, CJ Money, Mama Money) in a six-person tag match.

Dustin Starr interviews "The Gift" Ray Sanders at the announce desk. Sanders says that the last time he and Simon were in the ring, he piledrived him into chairs in front of friends and family. He says that Simon has been suspended, then rips his neck brace off and says he is looking for a fight. He says he has faced lions, tigers and bears his whole life and has been in all kinds of matches, and he has even beaten Aaron Roberts, and he is not scared of Simon. Simon may have put him down, but he will get back up and face him again. He announces that Matchmaker King Cobra has made it official, and next week, it is him and Simon in a no-disqualification match for the Heritage Championship.

We see a vignette for Major Curtis, who is looking for new soldiers for his platoon in the WrestleCenter. He has somebody do 25 push-ups, then says he will return next week. Meanwhile, someone is watching as they mop the floor. (Major Curtis is actually Jaymes from Special Forces being repackaged.)

"The Gold Standard" Eli Knox guests on commentary for the next match.

"Cold Hearted" Colton Cage retains the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship against "The Ember" Shawn Aries. After the match, "The Gold Standard" Eli Knox tells Colton Cage that he has only survived him before demanding another title shot. Colton Cage says Eli Knox had his respect, but he threw it all away, then wants to know what Eli Knox has and demands he put something on the line. Eli Knox is left speechless.

The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) vs. Muddy Waters (Gio Savage and RJW) ends with The Slaughterhouse (Reverend Ash Taylor, Jagged James, Nasty Nick) beating up both teams. Reverend Ash Taylor demands that they either get The Modern Day Monsters, or else this keeps happening.

"The Problem" Aaron Roberts beats "The Chosen One" Zay Washington by disqualification after Washington hits Roberts with a low blow in full view of the ref after Roberts catches Justin Case's chain. Washington then wraps the chair around Roberts' head and runs him into the ring post before Justin Case handcuffs Roberts to the ring. Washington gives Roberts more of a beating, and Justin Case slaps Roberts in the face. Senior referee David Knight has to call for help and check on Roberts. Justin Case and Zay Washington leave, but Washington returns for one more cheap shot on Roberts.

Final Resolution 2024 - The Results

JDC beats Leon Slater after using the top rope for leverage during the countdown.

Backstage, Gia Miller announces that Hammerstone has sustained an injury and is unable to compete tonight. She then interviews Jake Something, who says that he can do anything on his own as he thrives on his own. He says Sami Callihan needs PCO and that Zachary Wentz needs Trey Miguel, but he only needs himself.

Frankie Kazarian beats Jonathan Gresham by submission during the countdown after thumbing the eyes and making him submit to the crossface chickenwing when using the bottom rope for leverage does not work.

Moose retains the TNA X Division Championship against KUSHIDA.

Gia Miller interviews Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and KC Navarro). KC Navarro says that AJ Francis says that not many people believe in AJ, but without him, nobody would believe in Joe Hendry. He says that everybody will soon believe in AJ Francis and that he will be all about the money and the gold. AJ Francis says this is the biggest moment of his career and that he has worked six years for this moment, and that he has wanted nothing more than to be world champion. He says he will do it tonight when he hits "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth in the middle of the ring with the Down Payment and that there is nothing anybody can do about it, as he is the biggest, baddest man walking and talking and he deserves everything coming to him. He says that the world is his, and so is everything in it.

The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) beat a solo Jake Something and the team of PCO and Sami Callihan in a three-way tag team match. After the match, as Sami Callihan shows good sportsmanship with The Rascalz, the lights go out briefly and the number 23 is shown on the video screen again.

Backstage, Eric Young meets with Steve Maclin. Maclin says he is ready tonight, and Eric Young says that he can picture Maclin as TNA World Champion after tonight. He says he knows that Maclin did not ask for him to be here, but he has his back tonight, and if The Northern Armory ("The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, Judas Icarus, Travis Williams) shows up, he will take care of them the only way he knows how. Maclin says he knows what is on the line tonight and that he has this.

"Inevitable" Ace Austin beats Trent Seven.

Backstage, we hear from Frankie Kazarian, who says that TNA is trending upwards because of him and that after making an example out of Jonathan Gresham, he will be watching tonight's World Championship match and he will be ending tonight on a high note.

Rosemary vs. Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship ends with someone clad in black with a black ski mask pulling out the referee and attacking her. This mystery person then attacks Jordynne Grace. They then reveal themselves to be a woman, but not just any woman - it is none other than Tessa Blanchard, who has not been seen in the company in almost five years.

Backstage, Gia Miller tries to get an interview with Tessa Blanchard, who says that TNA was built on her name and that she is back and taking what is hers before piefacing Gia Miller and leaving.

Joe Hendry beats "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, Mike Santana and Steve Maclin in a four-way match to become the #1 contender for the TNA World Championship at Genesis after Alexander zipties Santana to a guardrail and kicks Maclin in the groin only for Hendry to hit Alexander with the Standing Ovation as Alexander is about to hit Maclin with the C4 Spike. Westside Gunn is seen in the front row during the match.

Backstage, we hear from "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth. He says that he goes one-on-one with AJ Francis tonight and that Francis thinks the World Championship is in the bag for him, but he has proven people wrong. He says that he does not know how tonight's match will end, but he knows TNA is the place to be and that he is the man here. Nemeth says he has proven how good he is every single tonight and that he will continue to do so because he is the best TNA World Champion.

Before the next match, Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up and calls out Alisha Edwards for returning to the ring after being ejected from ringside at Turning Point, and not only bans her from ringside tonight, but from the building. He also brings out additional security to stand by the ring so that the next match has "an unadulterated, clean finish." He also says that if Alisha Edwards gets back in the building, she will be fired. When Alisha yells at him, Santino picks her up and takes her to the back after pushing a promo code for one free month of TNA+, then security surrounds the ring.

Masha Slamovich retains the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Tasha Steelz in a Falls Count Anywhere Match after hitting Requiem on the ramp.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers) in a tables match after Jeff Hardy puts Eddie Edwards through a table with a Swanton Bomb on the mezzanine level of the arena. During the match, Eddie mouths off at a fan, knocks the drink out of his hand and slaps him only for the fan to slap him harder. The fan is removed by security It is later reported that this was not part of the show, and that the fan was handed over to the Atlanta Police Department.

"The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth retains the TNA World Championship against AJ Francis. During the match, Frankie Kazarian shows up with the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Trophy and guests on commentary. After the match, KC Navarro - who has been ejected from the match for stopping a rope break by Nemeth - attacks Nemeth from behind, and Francis joins in. As Francis is about to plant Nemeth onto the front plate of the TNA World Championship, Joe Hendry runs into the ring and fights off both Francis and Navarro, forcing them to retreat. Both Hendry and Nemeth grab the TNA World Championship, and Nemeth yanks it away from Hendry before lifting the championship and stating it is why he is the best.

Statlander says she has not stopped thinking about her match at Full Gear, and neither has Mercedes Moné, who Statlander admits is everything that she says she is. Statlander says she came out of the match pretty beat up and that her next step forward is to just keep moving forward, and that she will be wrestling tomorrow night on Collision and every night after that and that she will be watching Anna Jay's upcoming match for the TBS Championship against Mercedes. Statlander then warns the winner of that match that she has unfinished business with the TBS title.

Tony Schiavone interviews The Don Callis Family (Don Callis, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, Lance Archer). Don Callis says he is in the "getting over and making money business," as is the rest of his family, who he puts on a pedestal before asking Will Ospreay how it feels to be dominated by Kyle Fletcher and unable to be the same again. Callis also praises Fletcher for beating "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada in the Continental Classic before asking Okada "How does it feel...bitch?" Callis then hands Fletcher the microphone, and Fletcher says the fans can boo him and cheer for Ospreay all they want, as it changes absolutely nothing as he is 25 years old, wearing a watch that costs more than the fans' cars, and he is winning the Continental Classic. He then tells Mark Briscoe to bring more than his redneck kung fu, as winning the Continental Classic is his destiny and nobody gets in the way of him and his destiny. Callis calls his family "the one-percenters of AEW" and says there is nobody big or bad enough to get in the ring with them.

Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs beat The Don Callis Family (Lance Archer and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita). After the match, Takeshita tries to hit Hobbs with the AEW International Championship, but Hobbs blocks it, hits Takeshita with a spinebuster, and holds up the International Championship above a downed Takeshita to end the show.

Wendy Choo beats Dani Palmer by submission after countering the twisting senton with a sleeper hold.

In footage from earlier today, Sarah Schreiber interviews Oro Mensah. Oro says Niko Vance is one of the fastest rising stars in NXT and has a ton of potential, but he keeps listening to Shawn Spears. Oro then says he plans to kick some sense into Vance.

Backstage during the break, Dani Palmer says she would be lying if she said she is not upset. She says this year has been tough and frustrating, as she knows she has what it takes but cannot string victories together. She says she is exhausted and that something has to change, and that she will do everything to figure out what it is.

Niko Vance beats Oro Mensah.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for December 13, 2024

Jimmy Uso heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Jimmy admits he is injured after WarGames, then says the match was everything as he was surrounded by family that is together no matter what and his family came out on top. He says that he has watched him family entertain the fans since he was a little kid and now that he is a part of that, he has seen his family do so much. Jimmy admits that he does not know what is next for him, then proclaims 2025 will be a big year for him. Jimmy entertains the idea of winning a singles title as he says that nothing will stop him for doing what he loves to do. All of a sudden, he is taken out with a Claymore Kick by Drew McIntyre. Officials, including General Manager Nick Aldis, have to stop McIntyre before things get worse, and officials check on Jimmy while Aldis chews out McIntyre on the way to the back.

Backstage, Nia Jax and Candice LeRae meet with Tiffany Stratton before her match. Nia says they have faith in her and that she will not need the Money In The Bank Briefcase when she becomes Women's United States Champion.

Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis chews out Drew McIntyre, then Bianca Belair and Naomi. Aldis sends McIntyre to his office, then says the investigation on who attacked Jade Cargill is ongoing, and that this may lead to relinquishing the women's tag titles. Naomi steps up to replace Jade as one-half of the champions. Aldis says he will run it up the flagpole, but they will need to be fighting champions and ready to defend as early as next week.

"Michin" Mia Yim beats Tiffany Stratton to advance to the finals of the WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament after Tiffany barely glances Michin with the Pretties moonsault Ever and Michin hits Eat DeFeat afterwards.

We hear from #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), who state that they were screwed out of the WWE Tag Team Championships in Gargano's hometown. Gargano says he would do whatever it took to get them back, and after The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) showed up, they took advantage of the situation. Gargano says that the Machine Guns finally got their flowers at their funerals, and Ciampa says they are on to better days now that they are champions again.

We hear from Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman. Roman says it has been a tough year, and that not long ago, he had everything, but then it all fell apart and he lost it all. Roman also mentions losing the ula fala, and how Solo Sikoa was not even around when he earned the ula fala when he was chosen to lead the family and take the responsibilities only he can handle. Roman then challenges Solo Sikoa to one-on-one Tribal Combat on January 6th on Raw on Netflix after both of their tribes won one match each, and guarantees that he will take back the ula fala and regain his respect.

Backstage, Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Elektra Lopez, Angel, Berto) meets with General Manager Nick Aldis. After Escobar threatens to take his faction to Raw, Carmelo Hayes shows up as Legado del Fantasma leaves, saying he will make light work out of his mystery opponent tonight.

Carmelo Hayes' opponent is revealed to be Braun Strowman.

Braun Strowman beats Carmelo Hayes after catching him out of the air for a running powerslam.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews LA Knight. Knight says he has always made sure to handle his business, as all he is worried about is gold. He says he has no love for anyone from the men's WarGames match and that "Main Event" Jey Uso is the only one worth a damn. He says Solo's ula fala has gotten in the way of his gold and that his foot is going up his ass.

Before the next match, Solo Sikoa is about to address Roman Reigns when LA Knight shows up.

LA Knight beats Solo Sikoa by disqualification after Jacob Fatu grabs Knight from the outside in retaliation for Knight fending off both him and Tama Tonga. After the match, Tama and Jacob go on the attack on Knight. Solo hits Knight with a Samoan Spike, then Tama and Jacob go on the attack again before Andrade and Apollo Crews suddenly show up to even the odds only to be taken out by Solo.

Chelsea Green beats Bayley to advance to the finals of the WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament after going for a count-out victory and hitting Bayley with the Un-Pretty-Her after Bayley gets back into the ring at nine.

We hear from The Motor City Machine Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley). Sabin says they came to WWE to make a statement and knew they would rub people the wrong way, and Shelley he did not expect it to happen with Johnny Gargano. Shelley says he gets why it happened, then says it is a fight and that Gargano will find out why he is the student and not the teacher.

We hear from Shinsuke Nakamura, who says that his opponents will fall before his feet broken, humiliated and forgotten, and that LA Knight is just the beginning. He says Knight held something he never deserved and should have never touched, and now claws for something he cannot have which is no longer his and never truly was. Nakamura says he is imminent and inevitable.

Backstage, Candice LeRae and Nia Jax meet with Tiffany Stratton. Candice says she has gotten with General Manager Nick Aldis and has gotten herself and Nia a women's tag team title match. Nia leaves, then Candice says singles wrestling is not Tiffany's speed.

Michael Cole interviews "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for one final meeting before Saturday Night's Main Event. Cody arrives, but Owens fails to show. Cody allows Michael Cole to go ahead with the interview, and as Cody is about to mention what Paul "Triple H" Levesque has gifted to Cody for tomorrow night's show, Kevin Owens appears on the TitanTron. Owens asks Cody to ask about how he feels using all his friends to finish the story only to team up with Roman Reigns, then tells Cody to tell Michael Cole that he is as bad a friend as he is a son and brother. He also says that Cody was "way more interesting as Stardust." Cody responds by coming for Kevin Owens outside of the arena, but as soon as he goes backstage, he is ambushed by Owens. Owens and Cody's brawl goes back to the ring, where officials try to keep both men separated, and Owens hits Cody with the WWE Undisputed Championship as Cody is restrained.

Winter Is Coming - Dynamite recap for December 13, 2023

Samoa Joe heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Joe says he is looking for answers tonight, as he promised MJF he would leave him whole until he became AEW World Championship only to be made a liar by the machinations of a Devil after MJF was laid out in the back, jeopardizing his title opportunity. He mentions that a beer bottle enjoyed by a certain cowboy and "a lingering scent of Stetson and is disappointment," and that a certain cowboy was missing. "Hangman" Adam Page shows up and heads to the ring and dares Joe to accuse him like the man that he thought he was, and says he does not care about what is going on with MJF. Joe says Hangman has come out thinking he was here as a detective when he has made up his mind to be the executioner, and as Hangman dares Joe to do something about it, Roderick Strong shows up with The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). Roddy says Joe is lucky he was not attacked last week, then says Joe should listen to Hangman due to him being his young boy. He also mentions Jay Lethal and The Acclaimed being attacked after being involved with MJF and that only the aftermath of MJF's attack was seen. "Hangman" Adam Page interrupts Roderick Strong only to punch him in the face, and as Samoa Joe leaves, Roderick Strong attacks Hangman from behind.

Andrade el Idolo beats Brody King in the Blue League of the Continental Classic after sending Brody King into an exposed top turnbuckle and earns three points.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interivews Kevin, Ross, and and Marshall Von Erich. Kevin says he loves AEW, especially with some of his friends being there. Suddenly, Orange Cassidy shows up with Danhausen and Trent Beretta and offers Ross and Marshall Von Erich a chance to team with him on Rampage. They accept.

Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho head to the ring. Jericho says they have not been here in a while due to Big Bill and "Absolute" Ricky Starks attacking them, then calls Big Bill and Starks out. Big Bill and Starks show up. Starks says that he has no problem with Kenny, but says Jericho sucks the life out of everything. He says this makes him question Kenny and whether or not he can trust Jericho, and Big Bill says they would not be surprised if Jericho turned on him. Omega says even Jericho knows he doesn't trust him, then mentions The Firm and says it was more like "The Flaccid" and "Sawft" after what happened with MJF. Omega then says he is the king of receiving beatdowns and gets one every two weeks, then says they have a tag team title shot down the line and that they could take their titles and put them around his and Jericho's waists. Starks accepts the challenge, then tells Jericho to remember January, as he beat him twice - with a reminder from Big Bill - and says he and Big Bill are the best tag team there is without a name. Jericho calls Starks and Big Bill "The Absolute Assholes" and "The Rick and the Dick" before calling them "Big Billie Starkz." Starks says he can excuse the name, but not Jericho's outfit, comparing him to a vampire at Hot Topic. Jericho says that if he wanted to sink his teeth into someone, it would be someone with more charisma, as all he sees is a better dressed, less charismatic version of Enzo Amore. Kenny says that the real Enzo Amore would actually hype up Big Bill. Starks says that he is getting pissed off with Kenny and Jericho and accepts the challenge for Worlds End, then tells them to prove it if they think they have something better than them.

We hear from Wardlow, who says that he has been preparing physically, mentally and spiritually for war since his return, and he has left a path of pure mayhem behind him, destroying every single person in his way. He says that like the archangel Michael, he will be the one to bring the Devil to his knees, and MJF's world will come to an end.

Rush beats Jay Lethal in the Blue League of the Continental Championship after countering the Lethal Injection with a sleeper and earns three points.

We see a video package for Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland in the Gold League of the Continental Classic later tonight.

"Switchblade" Jay White beats Mark Briscoe in the Gold League of the Continental Classic to earn three points.

We see a video package for The Blackpool Combat Club ("The American Nightmare" Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) at Final Battle.

The show ends with "Hangman" Adam Page fighting off The Devil's all-black clad assailants only to be outnumbered four-on-one. The Devil comes out of a nearby car and nods his head, then Hangman is slammed into the front windshield of the car.

Suddenly, Grayson Waller shows up in his Hummer honking a horn, interrupting Roxanne and making the opening to tonight's show all about himself. Roxanne has to yell at Grayson to shut up and tell him that he was not the only Iron Survivor, then says she did it before him and did it from the #1 spot. Grayson Waller calls Roxanne "Booker T's favorite wrestler" says Roxanne was #1 because she had to win before bedtime and that he was partying after his match, then admits that they had the biggest wins of their career and that Roxanne has peaked at 21 and will never beat Mandy Rose. Bron Breakker shows up and stands up for Roxanne and defends her talent, and that nobody gives a damn what Grasyon Waller thinks because Roxanne Perez is the future NXT Women's Champion. Grayson Waller asks Bron how his jaw is feeling before bragging about his two falls and becoming the next NXT Champion. When Waller says he is about making moments, Bron says they can make a moment right now and chases Waller out of the arena. Suddenly, Roxanne is attacked from behind by Mandy Rose, who tells Roxanne that she will never be champion.

In footage from earlier today, JD McDonagh learns he is cleared in the trainer's room when he notices The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) show up. After Julius Creed talks about his status and Brutus Creed tells McDonagh he will hurt him, McDonagh says he is glad he never had to wrap his hand around a brotherly relationship.

Roxanne Perez - who is still in the ring - calls out Mandy Rose, who is on the stage, and tells her that they are not waiting until New Year's Evil and that she wants a title match tonight. Mandy Rose tells her if she wants it, she's got it.

Backstage, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo attacks Wes Lee from behind at the behest of Tony D'Angelo. This starts the next match early.

Wes Lee beats Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. After the match, Dijak approaches, but Tony D'Angelo can be seen behind Wes Lee in the reflection of Dijak's sunglasses. D'Angelo lays out Wes Lee from behind, then tells Dijak he did his job for him.

Backstage, Andre Chase and Thea Hail see Duke Hudson shake hands with Drew Gulak and see it as Duke transferring. Andre apologizes to Duke, saying he was right about Isla Dawn. Duke accepts his apology, then says he is not transferring and that he will give Damon Kemp "a Chase University-sizes ass whupping."

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter guest on commentary for the next match.

Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley vs. Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) ends with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter attacking Toxic Attraction when Jacy Jayne throws Ivy Nile over the announce table and into Katana and Kayden. Officials have to rush in to break up the brawl.

Backstage, Fallon Henley talks with her dad, who says that it will be a tough year with the bar. Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen tell Fallon they have her back, and that 2023 will be their year.

Backstage, Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes talk about the Iron Survivor Challenge. Carmelo says he should be the winner and could have won if it were 30 minutes, then Trick Williams sees a photo of the event on Axiom's Twitter that makes Carmelo look bad. Carmelo says that he will take out Axiom for this.

Odyssey Jones beats Von Wagner.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Javier Bernal, who says that he is a "one of one" talent and that he will prove it to his fans, whom he ultimately calls "Big Body Believers" before he leaves. McKenzie hopes Ikemen Jiro beats Bernal tonight.

Ikemen Jiro beats Javier Bernal. After the match, Scrypts attacks Ikemen Jiro from out of nowhere, puts on Jiro's jacket and hits Jiro with a 450 seated senton before mocking him.

We hear from Wendy Choo, who says that she is relieved that Cora Jade did not win the women's Iron Survivor Challenge after Cora Jade took her into a dark place, as she used to have friends who were like Cora Jade. She recalls a time when a so-called friend threw a drink at her at a slumber party, then says Cora Jade dredged the feelings from that memory back up and that she does not want to feel invisible or two inches tall ever again.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) head to the ring. Woods mentions that Kofi Kingston is now a Triple Crown Winners as a singles and tag team competitor, and that he has the most reigns in WWE history at fifteen. Kofi says that as special as the moment is for him, it is an even special moment for Woods, who was in NXT when it started ten years ago and was in the first NXT match ever against Big E. He says that he was the first person to graduate from the Performance Center, and that it never sat right with him that he never won an NXT championship until now. As The New Day are about to celebrate, Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilsona nd Elton Prince) show up. Kit Wilson says that The New Day ruined their Christmas, but Woods says they would never ruin Christmas because some guy dressed like Santa is in the audience. Woods also mentions England getting knocked out of the World Cup, then Elton Prince interrupts Kofi to ask for their rematch. The New Day say they are game for a rematch, but only if Pretty Deadly recites The Pledge of Allegiance. Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen show up and pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America with The New Day, much to the chagrin and horror of Pretty Deadly. Briggs and Jensen get a tag team title shot, also to the chagrin and horror of Pretty Deadly.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Elektra Lopez says Indi Hartwell can't win a bag match and that she would have won the women's Iron Survivor Challenge before she gets booted out of her chair by Indi Hartwell herself.

JD McDonagh beats Brutus Creed despite Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan and Sanga) stopping him from hitting Brutus Creed with a steel chair.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Zoey Stark. She says Nikkita Lyons could not hang in her ring for ten minutes, much less twenty-five, and is a waste of roster space. She says she wanted to save her from herself, then says she is not doing it for the clout before saying that she will bring the real talent.

We hear from Isla Dawn, who says that the spirits have summoned an ethereal being into this realm and that Alba Fyre is suffering as the longest day of the year is coming. She brags about the quality of her black mist as she says that night will consume Alba Fyre as she waits for the light to return.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 13, 2021

MVP and Bobby Lashley head to the ring to start tonight's show. Lashley says that last week, he showed what happens when people disrespect him. MVP says Lashley is the single most terrifying man in all of WWE because people are afraid to say his name like the Candyman. MVP says there is an issue with respect in today's Superstars, and that there are guy like Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins who show up week after week whining, complaining and backstabbing to get into a WWE title match, then says Lashley does none of that. He says that Lashley makes statements, and that he made a statement to multiple persons last week that he be added to the WWE Championship match at Day 1, for there is no better way to start off the new year than with Lashley as WWE Champion. Suddenly, Kevin Owens shows up, and says he has not mentioned MVP or Lashley and fails to see the disrespect, then accuses Lashley of trying to weaseling his way into a WWE Championship match that he has earned his way into. Owens says he is doing this to give the fans a WWE Champion they can believe in, then says nobody wants Lashley in the match and that he will go to Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville to ensure he does not enter it. Suddenly, Seth Rollins shows up and says the show cannot start without its star, and says that as much as he despises Owens, he has to agree that Lashley should not be in his title match much like Owens should not be in it. MVP says Rollins and Owens are terrified, and Lashley dares them to get into the ring and do something about it. Owens proposes that they work together against Lashley, saying Lashley cannot take them. As Owens and Rollins argue over who enters the ring first, Big E shows up.Big E says Owens and Rollins may be quaking in their boots at the thought of being in the ring with Lashley, he has already beaten Lashley to become WWE Champion and again inside of a steel cage, and he has no problem beating Lashley one more time. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville show up, and Pearce says there will be severe consequences if anyone lays a hand on anyone else. Deville says they have decided a Fatal 4-Way is a good idea, and that Lashley will be in the WWE title match at Day 1. Pearce then says he will be added to the match, but only if Lashley can defeat Big E, Owens and Rollins in no particular order tonight. Lashley accepts.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Randy Orton meets with Matt Riddle. Riddle says he has been watching a lot of tape, but Riddle admits some of it has been himself in the blazer. Orton tells Riddle that his broadcast career was over before it began, but Riddle is more interested in podcasting and being a shaman. Orton tells him to focus more on the tag team titles, and tells him to focus 100% on Otis so that maybe one day, he can put the blazer back on.

Backstage, Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce has to remind Seth Rollins that he, Kevin Owens and Big E all have to be beaten for Lashley to get a title shot, and tell Kevin Owens that he will have to face Lashley first because he was last added to the match. After Rollins and Owens complain and leave, Big E says that while this will make it harder for him to retain the WWE title, he will still walk out champion.

Otis beats Matt Riddle. After the match, Randy Orton attacks Otis and Chad Gable, but Otis lays Orton out.

Bianca Belair beats Doudrop. After the match, Doudrop attacks Bianca Belair from behind on the stage.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Kevin Owens, who says the current situation and St. Paul, Minnesota is "trash," and that he plans to put an end to Lashley's WWE Championship endeavor quickly.

WWE announces it's new "Next In Line" program, which serves as a pipeline from other sports to professional wrestling, then USA Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson is seen in the front row. MVP and Bobby Lashley both fist bump Steveson before the next match.

Bobby Lashley beats Kevin Owens with the Hurt Lock before he can even fully lock it in. After the match, WWE official Sonya Deville tells a livid Seth Rollins that he is up next.

We see another vignette for Veer Mahaan. This time, we get to hear Veer Mahaan speak. Veer says the lion is the king of the jungle, and in order to survive, the lion must deftly hunt its prey, kill it and eat it. He also mentions that other times, the lion hunts just for fun.

Becky Lynch heads to the ring. Becky says last week was a big night for Liv Morgan, but she is still standing as Raw Women's Champion like she said she would. She then says that if Liv became champion, the fans would find reason to doubt her as they do not know what they want. She says that people wanted her to come back but then had opinions about her afterwards despite never being in her shoes, and says one has to evolve or else they will disappoint the fans. As she shows a photo of a disappointed young female Liv Morgan fan from last week ad tells people to get used to being disappointed when they see their favorites lose to her because she will stay champion for a very long time, Liv Morgan shows up. Liv says she is not getting used to anything and that the fans are sick and tired of hearing Becky's broken record, and that the only person doubting Liv Morgan is Becky. Liv says Becky doubting her is the only reason she nearly lost to her last week and had to cheat to win, which she says is the only thing Becky is the best at while providing a photo of Becky Lynch grabbing the bottom rope on the pinfall. She admits she cried a little last week, not because she was weak, but because she was human, but she snapped out of it and believed she could beat her. Liv says she will not give up until she makes the Raw Women's title mean something again. Liv also says that if Becky really is "big time," she will accept a title rematch at Day 1. Becky tells Liv to blame herself for not being ready for her grabbing the rope, then says she is not ready and does not have the killer instinct. After Becky says that Liv did absolutely nothing like she always did, Liv charges the ring and attacks Becky, but Becky shoves her into the ring steps on the outside, traps her hand in the steps and stomps the arm and elbow. Multiple referees have to stop Becky and check on Liv. Becky then tells Liv Morgan that if she still wants the match, it is on. She then says that with no other able-bodied opponents opposing, she he will go home to her family and train.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who admits he and Omos were not at their best and that Omos was disrespectful for walking out on him, then says he will not give up on their team. Styles says he has been in the business for a long time and has never seen someone like Omos, and if things go off the rails, that is on him. He says that Omos was not a way to boost his career, but a way to give back to the business. He realizes that Omos is "a good kid" and wants to see him succeed in this business, then Omos shows up and asks "Are we good?" Styles says "We're golden," and says he will not give up on the team. Omos says he will not give up on the team, either.

In footage from earlier today, Dana Brooke and Reggie walk through a park. Reggie tells Dana he is willing to pass on some knowledge from when he was champion and proposes talking over some hot chocolate. Dana likes the idea. R-Truth and Akira Tozawa suddenly blow their cover, and as Reggie stops them from going for the 24/7 Championship, Dana Brooke is grabbed by Tamina, but she escapes alongside with Reggie after fending off Tamina. Tamina then tells R-Truth and Akira Tozawa to stay out of her way. R-Truth and Tozawa then argue over who Tamina warned.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode beat Finn Balor and Damian Priest following the distraction from Austin Theory. After the match, Theory takes a selfie with a downed Finn Balor, then runs out of the ring when Damian Priest chases him.

Before the next match, Queen Zelina says she feels it is her royal duty to grace "this frozen tundra" with her royal presence, then turns on the crowd for siding with Rhea Ripley before saying she will prove some deserve to be on top while others deserve to be buried under a snow pile in "a fly-over state like Minnesota."

Backstage, Seth Rollins is met by Kevin Owens, who wants to be in Rollins' corner due to MVP being there. Rollins says Owens could not even help himself, but Owens says there is no escape from the Hurt Lock and admits he had to save himself. Rollins tells Owens to stay backstage while he figures out how to beat Bobby Lashley on his own, but Owens tells Rolins he is making a mistake.

Seth Rollins beats Bobby Lashley by disqualification after Kevin Owens shows up to attack him...almost. After the match, Owens and Rollins praise each other on a job well done, then Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville show up and restart the match as a no-disqualification match while making the match against Big E a no-disqualification match. Lashley hits Rollins with a Spear to advance to his match with Big E.

Backstage, Vince McMahon is meeting with Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez when Austin Theory barges into the room to show his selfie with Finn Balor. Vince is not impressed, but Austin says a match would be more impressive. Vince tells Austin that they are not friends and that he has not impressed him yet, then pulls out his most deadly weapon: a pencil. He then says that the eraser is the most important part.

It's time for another edition of Miz TV. This time around, however, Maryse is the host, and she says that the fans in Minnesota are not used to seeing a woman like her or a man like The Miz, whom she introduces. Miz says Maryse looks astonishing and says only a woman like her can make a cold Minnesota night feel like paradise, then formally endorses who he feels should be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022: himself. Miz tearfully raises a glass with Maryse to beating Edge at Day 1 and sending him back to permanent retirement while he highlights his resume, then Edge shows up. Edge says that sometimes, the squeaky wheel doesn't get the grease, and it just squeaks and squeaks. He repeats "squeaks" until Miz finds it annoying, then Edge says this is what it feels like when Miz opens his mouth. Edge says he would get all the adulation he craves if he could just shut up, and that while he knows how good he is, he has seen guys like him crash and burn and he knows Miz is hiding his insecurity. He says that Miz has been told so many times he is not good enough that he has become an "overbearing jackoff" that he has believed it, then says that he will have to teach him that he still has lessons to learn and knock the constipated look off his face at Day 1. Miz throws his champagne into Edge's eyes, but Edge hits Miz with the Edge-O-Matic before throwing all of the furniture out of the ring. He goes for a spear, but Miz uses Maryse as a shield and hits Edge with the Skull Crushing Finale. Miz and Maryse then argue, then Maryse smacks Miz and leaves, with Miz chasing her to the back.

Backstage, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins meet with Big E, who tells them not to approach the ring if they want their match to stay a Triple Threat Match.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews MVP and Bobby Lashley. MVP says no extraordinary being could have beaten Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins in the same night, not even Hercules, and that a no-disqualification allows Lashley to unleash as much pain as he wants. Lashley says that in 2022, everyone will be bowing down to their new, All Mighty WWE Champion.

Bobby Lashley beats Big E in a no-disqualificatoin match to become part of the WWE Championship match at Day 1, making the match a Fatal 4-Way. Following interference from Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens that sees Rollins and Owens being put through tables, Bobby Lashley wins with a Spear after MVP hits Big E in the back of the knee with his cane.

Suddenly, "Smart" Mark Sterling and Jade Cargill arrive and says they and Thunder Rosa got off on the wrong foot before stating they just want to chat, but Thunder Rosa thinks this is another set-up for Jade Cargill to attack her again. Jade says she can beat Thunder Rosa all by herself, to which Sterling agrees with before saying that security is ready to step in, especially with Jade refusing to wrestling in Long Island, New York. Thunder Rosa says that she finds it funny that Jade says she can beat her all by herself and yet has security on stand-by, then calls Sterling a "simp." Jade says the security is for Thunder Rosa, and Sterling says he is no simp and just likes his client. Sterling then says that Thunder Rosa is jealous of Jade Cargill's success, but Thunder Rosa says she is here to empower other women and that she has noticed that Jade has no respect due to having everything given to her. She says she has had to earn everything she has gotten, and when they meet in the ring, she will teach her respect and humility. She then calls Jade Cargill a bitch, and Sterling has to hold Jade back.

Kris Statlander and Red Velvet beat Nikii Duke and Tina San Antonio.

The Gunn Club (Billy, Austin and Colten Gunn) beat Joey Sweets, Antonio Sambrano and Jack Tomlinson. During the match, Billy Gunn takes offense to Joey Sweets stealing his gimmick with "Sweet Cheeks" on the seat of his tights. He nearly moons him, but is stopped by referee Aubrey Edwards.

Emi Sakura beats Notorious Mimi with a La Magistral Cradle after Mei Tsuruga hits Mimi with the scepter.

Anthony Ogogo beats Jaden Valo.

Proud 'n Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) beat Mike Verna and Anthonoy Gangone. (Verna and Gangone are accompanied by Prince Nana, best known for his time in Ring of Honor.)

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young and Josh "The Goods" Woods - now known as "2 Guys 1 Tag" - beat Dalton Castle and Joe Hendry. After the match, The Bouncers (The Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas) are seen in the front row, and Milonas does not seem to care much for Silas.

Backstage, Brian Zane interviews The Allure (Angelina Love and Mandy Leon). Angelina says she is not afraid of Maria Manic after wrestling women larger than her and winning seven world titles in the last twenty years.

Alex Shelley shows up. He thanks the Baltimore, Maryland fans for being one of the cornerstone cities in Ring of Honor's history, then says that Ring of Honor is pro wrestling's greatest classroom, as a lot of students have taken their seats here and have gone on to do great things in their career. He then says the greatest students come back and become teachers, such as guys like Jay Lethal and The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe), while some of them are behind the scenes in different positions. He says that ROH is home to one of the greatest technical wrestlers of all time and that this wrestler does not even have a match on the show, much less wrestles often, and hints that this man is Colt Cabana, whom he has never faced and wants a one-on-one match with tonight. Colt Cabana says that as someone who has recently won the NWA National Heavyweight Championship and just came back from a tour with New Japan, he admits his heart sank when he was not on the card, and asks the producers to put another match on the show. He then says he may be a commentator, but he will always be remembered as a comedy-style wrestler, and he calls Shelley one of the best technical wrestlers there has ever been before accepting Shelley's challenge.

Kenny King beats Rhett Titus after Amy Rose grabs at Titus' foot. Before and after the match, Kenny King's theme is the theme for The All Night Xpress, King's former tag team with Titus.

Brian Zane interviews The Bouncers (The Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas), who are enjoying the show. The Beer City Bruiser says he saw the recent Baltimore Ravens game, then says he followed it up with tonight's show. Milonas says The Bouncers will be winning championships in 2020 like the Baltimore Ravens, then are divided between who will win between Rush and PCO in tonight's main event for the ROH World Championship.

Jeff Cobb beats Dan Maff. Both men shake hands after the match.

Brody King guests on commentary for the next match.

Bandido (returning from injury) and Flamita beat Villain Enterprises ("The Villain" Marty Scurll and "The Mercenary" Flip Gordon).

Vincent beats Matt Taven after hitting Taven with a Shiranui as Taven approaches him with an ax. After the match, Taven is suddenly attacked and hit with a Tombstone Piledriver by Bateman, then Vincent separates Taven's feet with a short wooden beam before striking them with a steel chair.

"Overkill" Mark Haskins beats Bully Ray in a Street Fight after Vicki Haskins - who is hit with a barbed wire board along with Mark at the beginning of the match - takes a cheese grater to Bully Ray's crotch after the referee is knocked out, allowing Mark and Vicki to put Bully Ray through a table together. After a top rope double foot stomp from Mark Haskins to Bully Ray, senior referee Todd Sinclair makes the three count.

Maria Manic beats Angelina Love in dominating fashion in her ROH debut match.

Dragon Lee beats Shane Taylor to become the ROH World Television Champion! The win happens after Dragon Lee uses Shane Taylor's chain against him by tying it around his knee and hitting a knee strike as referee Todd Sinclair is distracted by Ron Hunt, who is drop kicked off the apron shortly afterwards.

"The Darewolf" PJ Black guests on commentary for the next match.

Jay Lethal and Johnathan Gresham beat The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) after Lethal grabs Jay Briscoe's tights to become ROH World Tag Team Champions!

PCO beats Rush to become the ROH World Champion one year after his debut, giving Rush his first ever loss in ROH. During the match, Destro shows up to revive PCO with the jumper cables from a hearse near the stage. Near the end of the match, Rush lays out Destro, but that gives PCO time to recover so he can choke slam Rush and put him through a table with the PCO-Sault to win the World titie. ROH COO Cary Silkin personally hands the ROH World Championship over to PCO after the match. "The Villain" Marty Scurll and Brody King celebrate with PCO to end the show.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for December 13, 2019

King Corbin shows up to start tonight's show. Dolph Ziggler is already in the ring, and security is already stationed around the ring. Corbin and Ziggler make fun of the the stench of the dog food they dumped all over Roman Reigns last week, then Corbin says that he has had an incredible year in 2019. Corbin then says he will finish humiliating Roman at TLC and use everything in his disposal - tables, ladders and chairs - and make Roman "bow down to his king." He then says SmackDown will be his to rule as sole leader when he puts Roman in his place. Corbin then says he has seen all the promos of Roman Reigns coming to tonight's show "unchained," then says that a scared little dog runs away when unchained. He then says that if Roman does show up, he will show up to a fate far worse than last week. Corbin then says that Roman will not be showing up, and that the entire locker room approves of what he did last week. He then says that Ziggler will speak on the locker room's behalf. Ziggler says that for once in his life, Roman was the locker room leader that he said he was only for Corbin to put him down. Corbin says it is the dawn of a new day, and that anyone who stands in his and Ziggler's way will be forced to bow down. As Ziggler asks everyone to hail Corbin, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) show up. Big E says he and Kofi could not help but overhear Corbin talking about "ruling an imaginary kingdom" and uttering their name, then Corbin mocks Kofi losing the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar. Kofi then says he still considers himself a champion of the people - something he is proud of - and while he admits that Corbin had a good year, he had a better one as WWE Champion. Kofi then says he did not whine and complain on social media after losing the WWE title, and that he picked himself up, dusted himself off and kept moving forward, and now The New Day are seven-time tag team champions. The New Day get in the ring, and Kofi tells Corbin that he walks around "looking stupid," but if Corbin was a real king, he would carry himself with pride, dignity and class, none of which he is capable. Kofi calls what Corbin did to Roman last week "disrespectful," then Corbin makes fun of Kofi out loud with Ziggler. Kofi slaps Corbin and says he knows Corbin can hear him now, and Corbin says that if Kofi wants to step up like Roman, he will be humiliated like Roman.

Kofi Kingston vs. King Corbin is official for later tonight.

Backstage, King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler find some members of security laid out and everything strewn about in the locker room.

Kayla Braxton interviews Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Alexa says that she doesn't know why Mandy Rose takes things personally, then she and Nikki are attacked by Fire and Desire (Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville). Both teams then brawl on the stage until referees separate both teams.

Backstage, Sami Zayn is met by Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis), who have a present for Sami as part of a Secret Santa gift exchange. Inside the present is a Christmas ham, which Sami calls the worst present he has ever gotten in his life due to his being vegan. Otis says sorry, but Sami says that is not good enough and asks Tucker how he deals with Otis, who he calls "a dumb oaf." Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura show up as things get heated, and they and Sami leave before Cesaro throws the ham on the floor.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) beat Shorty G and Mustafa Ali.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley. Bayley says Lacey Evans may impress some people, but that means nothing to her, and that she does everything she does in the ring for herself now. She says that she and Sasha Banks - who is out recording a hip hop album - are the best and that Lacey picked a fight with the wrong people. Suddenly, Elias plays his guitar, and Bayley gets irritated with him. Elias then plays a song with Bayley as part of the Secret Santa gift exchange going on backstage in which he proceeds to make fun of Bayley. Bayley tells Dana Brooke to stop being a groupie and meet her in the ring if she thinks this is funny. Dana accepts her challenge.

We hear from Sheamus, who says that SmackDown used to be a home to fighters, warriors and champions, but is now a home to wimps and weaklings. He says that there is no heart, but he is returning to bring heart back and crush anyone who stands in his way.

In footage from earlier today, Renee Young interviews The Miz. The Miz says he has no idea where Daniel Bryan is, and that he and Daniel bring out the best and worst in each other and that he understands how important Daniel is to SmackDown. He says he may not like him, but he respects him, and it is time to do the right thing. He says that Bray Wyatt likes to play mind games, and that Bray Wyatt crossed a line. He says he cannot get the image of the photo out of his head and that he had to accept his challenge. He says that while Wyatt has changed Superstars, he has been changed, but in a different way due to the growth of his family. Suddenly, Maryse calls out for Miz, who has gotten a strange video from Bray Wyatt of Mercy the Buzzard, Huskus the Pig Boy and Abby the Witch with their daughter Monroe. They check on Monroe, and find a strange doll that they do not recognize. Miz prematurely ends the interview. Shortly afterwards, we see the doll in the Firefly Fun House as well as Bray Wyatt, who says he was just trying to be nice, as it is the holiday season. He says he understands how much Miz loves his family, then says that Miz exposed himself when he was too busy exposing what happened to Daniel Bryan. Bray Wyatt then says that he was broken, but that he fixed himself by training himself to not feel pain at all and that Miz can train himself not to feel love before telling Miz he can teach him if he lets him in.

Backstage, King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler find the men who hold up Corbin's throne laid out.

Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura beat Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis).

Kofi Kingston vs. Baron Corbin ends in a no-contest after Dolph Ziggler attacks Big E after getting ejected, leading Corbin to attack Kofi as Kofi goes after Ziggler. After referees show up to break up the brawl, Big E gets in the ring and challenges Corbin and Ziggler to a tag team match.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) beats King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler after Corbin handcuffs Kofi. After the match, Corbin and Ziggler tie Kofi to the ring post like they did to Roman Reigns last week. As Corbin readies the dog food, The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) show up and hit Big E with the Shatter Machine, then Roman Reigns shows up. Roman Reigns fights off all of the members of security as well as The Revival and Ziggler. Corbin strikes with his staff, but Roman hits him with a Superman Punch, then takes Corbin's scepter and dog food only to be superkicked by Ziggler. Ziggler readies a ladder as The Revival hold Roman down on the announce table, but Roman Reigns overpowers The Revival and tosses Ziggler into the table. Roman Reigns then helps Kofi Kingston off the ring post.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for December 13, 2018

Rich Swann beats Dave Crist to qualify for the Ultimate X Match at Homecoming with a schoolkid pin. After the match, Dave Crist attacks Swann, then Sami Callihan and Jake Crist join in before berating Dave. Willie Mack shows up and knocks down the Crist brothers before pounding on Sami Callihan, and Swann has to hold Willie Mack back while Callihan does the same to the Crist brothers before he leaves along with them.

Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Moose. Moose is not worried about Eddie Edwards as he has been committed to a psychiatric facility, and tonight, he is more concerned with "The Machine" Brian Cage. He tells Cage that computers, laptop, electric cars and machines die, but legends live forever and he will find out first-hand.

Backstage, Rich Swann and Willie Mack talk about what happened after Swann's match. Swann tells Willie that he does not want to go down a dark path because he has known Sami Callihan for years, he does not want to go down a certain path again, and that he does not want Willie Mack dragged into it. He tells Mack that he has known Callihan for years and that he knows how dangerous and maniacal he can be. Swann then asks Mack to back out of the situation.

Josh Mathews talks about the lineage of the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship, then brings out Taya Valkyrie and Tessa Blanchard for some last words before the Knockouts Championship match at Homecoming. Taya says that there has been a rivalry, and what Tessa did at Bound For Glory was "creative" and that Tessa hit the referee in their rematch. She says that Tessa's actions are those of a coward who feels the championship slipping through her fingers, and that she has no respect for authority at all, which is unbecoming of a Knockout. At Homecoming, she will be all over Tessa Blanchard. Tessa says the only way Taya knows how a champion acts is by watching her husband Johnny Impact, and even then, he's not even good at that. She says that Taya has always been just a challenger in Impact, and while she talks about getting what she wants, she is no different from the rest of the fans and she is a loser. She says that her actions have kept her champion, and she will walk out through the back door with the title if she wants to. However, Taya will have to take the title from her at Homecoming, and nobody has been able to do that. Taya and Tessa have an intense stare-down, then Mathews asks for decorum and mentions that Impact Wrestling have decided that this match should come with a stipulation: a very special guest referee in the form of Gail Kim, who shows up. Tessa is livid.

Backstage, Tessa Blanchard says there are a lot of great Knockouts, but no one has been able to beat her for the title. She says that Impact wants to stack the deck against her, and while she respects Gail Kim for being the inspiration for getting in the business, she will run through her if she gets in her way.

Trey Miguel beats Trevor Lee to qualify for the Ultimate X Match at Homecoming.

We hear from The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix). Pentagon Jr. says The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) may be worried about much more, and that there are no issues between them as they are family. However, if issues exist, they can address them in the ring and they will be there to prevail as champions. He says that they came to Impact to prove they are the best tag team on the planet. Fenix tells Santana that he wrestles him tonight and that he will show him some lucha libre and give him a little taste of The Lucha Bros.

Backstage, Allie says that the old her is gone, and what she is now is here. She says that the beginning is the end and that the end is the beginning. Su Yung tells Kiera Hogan that her time has come.

The GWN Flashback Moment of the week is the Ultimate X Match from Bound For Glory 2009.

Backstage, Konnan chews out Santana and Ortiz for nearly coming to blows, and tells them that they are defending the tag team titles against The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) without him.

Fenix beats Santana.

Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Killer Kross, who says that the writing is on the wall and that the whole world is against Johnny Impact. Johnny shows up and says that Kross is using facts to manipulate people around him, and that he can see through him. He tells Kross he wants nothing to do with him and tells him to stay away from him and his wife Taya Valkyrie. Kross congratulates Johnny on coming to a revelation, and says that while Johnny is proving he is being the best champion he can be, he is also proving he is a half-assed husband. Johnny shoves Kross into a storage box, and Kross proclaims that this is the Johnny Impact that will beat "The Machine" Brian Cage. After a brief stare-down, Johnny wants Kross to stay away from him and Taya, to which Kross replies "Sure, John...whatever it takes" before laughing.

We hear from Kiera Hogan, who says that Allie proved her wrong last week and that her friend Allie is gone, and that all that is left is a soulless shell of what used to be Allie. She said that she would have Allie's back until the end, and now the end is here and it is time to fight.

At Shady Acres in Baltimore, Maryland, Raven is playing chess with another patient when Eli Drake shows up. Eli Drake says he is here to see for himself "the head of the snake" that inspired a generation to be hardcore, and that a guy like Raven is why he is the last of a dying breed. He says that Raven was a star while everyone was a cheap knock-off, but now he is here waiting to die, and when Raven dies, a whole generation dies with him. Eli Drake tells Raven that when abyss comes down the ramp at Homecoming for Monster's Ball, he will adapt and beat him at his own game. He tells Raven to watch this match so he can watch his creation die as Raven gets the orderlies to remove Eli from the room.

Impact Wrestling will be coming back on January 3rd, as the next two weeks will cover the best of Impact Wrestling in 2018.

Jordynne Grace beats Ruby Raze after slamming Katarina on top of Ruby Raze.

At a nearby hotel, The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Raj Singh) and Gama Singh are met by "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux upon uttering her name, and proposes that The Desi Hit Squad fight Fallah Bahh and KM - who used to be on the top of her list and are now at the bottom - saying she loves it when men fight over her.

One Night Only: Back To Cali premieres on GWN on December 21st!

Moose beats "The Machine" Brian Cage by disqualification after Eddie Edwards - fresh out of Shady Acres in a hospital gown - attacks Moose. Eddie then looks for Kenny the Kendo stick, then pulls a Kendo stick out from underneath the ring and whacks Moose with it. Moose eventually managed to escape from Eddie Edwards.
