Lilian Garcia is the ring announcer for this week's show.

All of a sudden, Birthright show up, and OTM confronts them over their recent actions. Lexis King tries to drive a wedge between OTM with Bronco being in AAA, and tells OTM to settle things between themselves and stop coming for them.

Tristan Angels is in the ring. He says that God has a strange sense of humor when he created men like Shiloh Hill, yet was so overcome with remorse that he created him as an apology. He then states that he has repossessed Shiloh's tooth so that nobody sees him as normal and everyone can see him as nothing more than "a creepy, hillbilly weirdo" who was never fit to stand across the ring from him. Tristan then says he will no longer allow Shiloh to lie to himself, then places the tooth on the ring steps and stomps on it. Shiloh shows up on the TitanTron and says that losing his teeth helped him find his mind. He says he can fix his smile, but Tristan cannot fix the fact that the fog is coming before the lights go out and fog fills the arena.

During the match, Nattie and Karmen Petrovic show up and grab Zaria as soon as Zaria is sent out of the ring. Backstage, Saquon Shugars talks with Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair about his tag team partner problem. Lola Vice shows up and tells Kendal that they are not done and that she will take the NXT Women's Championship back. Kendal tells Lola she had better win, and Lola says she will.

D'Angelo says this is a great idea, and Stone gives him an NXT Championship match for next week. D'Angelo says that is good, but not good enough, and that he is not waiting. Stone follows as D'Angelo leaves the room, asking D'Angelo what he is going to do.

Jackson Drake beats Tavion Heights with a Sunset Flip following the distraction by Brad Baylor.

We see a vignette for Reina Volcan. She says she always had a voice that demanded more. She says that nature does not ask for permission or apologize for its actions. Romeo Moreno sees this as an opportunity, and Saquon asks Noam Dar when he last backed down from a fight. Noam Dar gives in and tells Saquon that he and Moreno will team with him against DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin).

Backstage, Wren Sinclair speaks with Kendal Grey when Kali Armstrong shows up and says that she will win tonight and take the NXT Women's Championship. Kendal says that she will either pin her or tap her out and that they will find out who will win next week, then Kali Armstrong leaves. She then sees Jaida Parker looking at her, and Jaida tells her that Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice does not care about her nickname of "The Difference Maker." Kali leaves, then Jaida is attacked from behind by Nattie, Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 16, 2026

Zaria heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Zaria says that she spent so long in Sol Ruca's shadow that she forgot what the sun looked like, and after setting the women's division ablaze, she is the new Women's North American Champion. She says that she did this all of her own after being overlooked, underestimated and looked past in favor of Sol Ruca, but now, she holds a title, and the power is in her hands. She calls this a course correction, not a dream come true, that she owes nothing to anybody. Zaria then promises that her name will not be in the shadows ever again before Kelani Jordan shows up and congratulates Zaria. Kelani then gives Zaria some advice: enjoy all of this, as the people who chant that she deserves this will switch it up on her before the week is even over, and no matter what she does, it will never be good enough. She tells Zaria to hold on to the Women's North American Championship as tightly as possible, as she may never hold another title again. As Kelani talks about how she only needs one shot to beat Lola Vice and become NXT Women's Champion, Kendal Grey shows up. Kendal says she has already beaten Kelani and that Kelani will be watching her beat Lola Vice to become NXT Women's Champion, and that if Kelani ends up back in her path, she will beat her again. As Zaria complains about somebody making this about themselves, Lola Vice shows up and tells Zaria to get over Sol Ruca, then says she will beat Kendal Grey again. All four women argue, then General Manager Robert Stone shows up. All four women see themselves in a tag team match against each other coming, which Stone more or less confirms.

D'Angelo says he can see through Naraku's nice guy act and knows about his accomplishments as the leader of Los Ingobernables de Japon, and says Naraku left Japan for his title. D'Angelo says that Naraku is a man without a family who has moved his life halfway across the world for something he cannot accomplish, and says that the NXT Championship is staying with him. D'Angelo signs the contract after noticing that Naraku has yet to sign, then tells Naraku to get ready for war. D'Angelo leaves, then Naraku says "Evil is coming."

Rourke challenges Tristan to a match, reminding Tristan that he has a history of coming up short. Tristan gets angry and leaves, and Rook and Lizzy tell Rourke to kick Tristan's ass.

Backstage, Lennox says that Saquon is the one who has made a mistake, and says that he will see Saquon next week.

Sarah Schreiber reports from the Mr. NXT Pageant. Aaron Rourke, Kit Wilson and comedian Matt Mathews are the three judges. The first category is attire. Matt Mathews gives Shiloh Hill the nod, saying "That's a man right there," but Kit Wilson picks Tristan Angels over Shiloh, calling Shiloh's choices of attire "T for tacky." Rourke says he likes what Shiloh has going on, but he gives the nod to Tristan.

Naraku beats Mason Rook to become #1 contender for the NXT Championship following the distraction by Kam Hendrix.

Backstage, Tavion Heights, still angry about last week, thinks that Myles Borne only cares about the North American Championship and threatens to challenge Borne for it. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood) shows up, and Jackson Drake sarcastically states that Myles Borne is a great champion for handing out title opportunities to friends, then calls Tavion Heights a charity case. The public speaking portion of the Mr. NXT Pageant takes place in the ring. Tristan Angels says being the inaugural Mr. NXT is a task fit most for one man, and brags about being Mr. England and representing the country in international pageantry as well as how he was born a humble sheepherder so he can relate to the fans, who he trashes. He also says that he is celebrating his 23rd birthday and has "Mister NXT" tattooed on his leg, and says that the judges should take a long walk off of a short cliff if they even consider voting for "a hillbilly." Shiloh Hill says that he found out that the hardest part of the pageant is figuring out how to represent himself, and says that things change so fast that he is a different person each week. He says that he has yet to find himself, but that is what NXT is all about, and as long as he is willing to roll with the punches, everything will be right, and he embodies that very well, which is why he should be Mr. NXT. Matt Mathews is impressed with Shiloh Hill's ability to be himself, then says that he is glad Tristan Angels got rid of his "ramen noodle" hair before saying he does nothing for him. He picks Shiloh. Kit Wilson calls Shiloh's "raccoon thing" toxic, but also says that while Tristan is also toxic, there is also something about him, and picks Tristan. Aaron Rourke says that while Shiloh Hill embraces who he is, Tristan Angels looks the part, and leaves the final vote up to the fans. The fan vote results are revealed, and Shiloh Hill becomes the first Mr. NXT. Tristan Angels attacks Shiloh Hill with his cane, then hits him with a lungblower. Ricky Smokes says that beating Hank Walker and Tank Ledger does not make them championship material, and Brad Baylor reminds DarkState that they took the titles from them and are the reason why Lennox and Saquon are at each others' throats. Baylor says they do not give handouts, but Cutler says they never got their rematch, and they are cashing in. He says that General Manager Robert Stone has approved the match for next week, but it will not be him and Osiris in the ring. She then says she likes it, because holding the title means you are a future WrestleMania main event. Lola says she is ready to be "the realest champion," as everyone is wanting to make their mark. Lola then warns anybody who walks into Vice City to challenge her that they will be challenging a fighter and risking getting knocked out and danced on. All of a sudden, Izzi Dame shows up with The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance). Izzi says Lola is talking like she cleaned out the women's division in one defense, then asks Lola if she is beginning to feel it yet and says that she is watching and waiting for the moment Lola makes a mistake to strike. Izzi says that she will rip Lola apart, and when she becomes the next champion, Lola will thank her instead of cursing her. Lola says Izzi's waiting feels like hesitation, and that she will beat her ass when she is ready. Izzi reminds Lola that The Culling is one step ahead, and when Niko Vance grabs at Lola Vice's AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship, Izzi boots Lola in the face and knocks her out.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for March 3, 2026

Myles Borne heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Myles says that the fans know what he has been through and what he fights for, and instead of thanking the fans and his family for support, he thanks his biggest haters for doubting him, including "All Ego" Ethan Page, who did not think he had this in him. He said that instead of teaching him that he lacked a killer instinct, he lit a fire that awakened a demon. He says he is no Boy Scout and no angel and that he will do what it takes to keep the title. Ethan Page shows up and says if it was not for him, Myles Borne would be afraid to rock the boat, then says it is time to repay the favor. He says that anyone can have a good night, and while he had a bad night, he had a thousand good nights since he arrived in NXT. He says that if anyone deserves a rematch, it is the man that has been carrying NXT on his back for the last two years. Myles says he will give him his rematch, and after Ethan wants it for tonight, Myles says he will regret it. Interim General Manager Robert Stone shows up and tells Myles to reconsider, but Ethan Page says Myles wants to be a fighting champion. Stone reconsiders and makes the match happen right now, with both men still in street clothes.

D'Angelo shows up as soon as DarkState leaves, and he pulls a crowbar out of the trunk.

Blake Monroe heads to the ring. Blake Monroe says she expected to be enraged and tear Jaida Parker apart for her recent action, but all it did was reassure here, as she realized that Jaida needs her. She says that Jaida confirmed her value, and declares that she is "perfectly poised" and is the conversation. Blake says that people are obsessed about her and talk about her more than Jaida Parker, then says that Jaida Parker cannot step up and that stepping to her is her only option when it comes to mattering, as the women's division revolves around her. She says that Jaida is begging to be in the spotlight, then says that she will share it with her at Vengeance Day before walking into Stand & Deliver. Jaida shows up and says Blake has jokes and says that she should slap the taste out of her mouth, especially when Blake claims to run the division yet has to talk about herself. She chalks it up to insecurity, then says she will give Blake the ass-whupping she is asking for, as Blake needs her so she does not fade into the background she is scared of. Jaida says that Blake does not believe what comes out of her mouth and that when everything is stripped away, Blake is just "a mediocre bitch." This leads to a brawl, and Jaida hits Blake with Hip-Notic quickly.

Tatum Paxley says The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance) gave Izzi the control she wanted, but when she took out Spears and Niko, she beat her. Izzi reminds Tatum of how she beat her to retain the Women's North American Championship and tells her that she is the same woman who talks to dolls because she cannot solve her problems. She also tells Tatum that she is unlovable and pathetic and calls Tatum a shell of her former self without her, then says there is no "new version" of Tatum and that Tatum has not changed. Tatum smiles and says nothing last forever, and Izzi's pain and manipulation is only temporary, and that when she beats her for the Women's North American Champion, she will learn she was never meant to be played with.

After the match, Blake Monroe shows up and tells Jaida Parker that she got what she wanted and brought the hell out of her, and says that this ends at Vengeance Day in a street fight. Hank, Tank and Shiloh have to help security hold Blake back as well as Jaida Parker, who shows up to confront Blake. Meanwhile, backstage, DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars) find out that Osiris Griffin has been attacked, and Dion Lennox says he will handle Tony D'Angelo himself.

In footage from earlier today, Lola Vice learns from Dr. Martin about her hand injury. He wants Lola out of action for six months to stabilize the fracture in her hand, and if she gets into the NXT Underground match, she may suffer irreversible damage to her hand. Lola says she cannot be out for that long due to the NXT Underground match as well as future opportunities. Dr. Martin asks Lola to meet with him after the match.

Dion Lennox is in the ring. He calls out Tony D'Angelo, who shows up in the crowd and blames Lennox for the destruction of his life last year. He says he has come back a different, more dangerous man and told him what he would do, and says he will kill Lennox's dreams. He says that he will cash in his final promise of destroying DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) by taking Lennox out. Lennox says he is fighting for four on Saturday, and that he will run D'Angelo over on the way to becoming NXT Champion. Lennox says that DarkState's takeover is far from over, and warns D'Angelo to be ready on Saturday because it will be on sight. Security moves in, but Lennox says D'Angelo will get his on Saturday. D'Angelo says he will beat D'Angelo in the parking lot and drag him into the ring to beat him in front of everybody to complete one of his reasons he returned to NXT.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid). Jacy Jayne says she does not want to get caught up in the break-up between Sol Ruca and Zaria. She says that when she beats Zaria tonight, it will be smooth sailing to Stand ∓ Deliver.

Jacy Jayne retains the NXT Women's Championship. After the match, Sol Ruca raises the title up and tells Zaria that her soul is hers, then blasts Lainey Reid with the title.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Interim General Manager Robert Stone. Stone says he needs to figure some things out, and he will have a decision regarding the NXT Women's Championship at Vengeance Day.

Ricky Saints heads to the ring for "The Absolute Experience." Saints describes himself as "a true thespian" and says that the network loves him before starting his own concert to rival Joe Hendry's. He sings poorly while mocking Joe Hendry, and keeps holding the concert up in order to replace the stool with a chair. He also demands that the microphone be replaced, saying that something is off before telling the fans that they stink. When he asks for a new guitar, Joe Hendry shows up and hits him with a guitar. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Saints, Jackson Drake) rushes in and attacks Hendry, but Myles Borne shows up to make the save. He says that the climb does not stop and that he is just getting started, then he is interrupted by The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake). Jackson Drake says that Joe Hendry is "mid" at best and says that Hendry goes viral for his music while he goes viral just for looking good, and says he should have never been in the ladder match to begin with. Drake says The Vanity Project took Hendry out because he disrespected them and because he did not belong, and Hendry says they not only failed, but they could have been successful if they coordinated their attacks as well as their wardrobe. Jackson Drake then makes it clear that he wants the NXT Championship, and Hendry says he has no problem kicking Drake's ass and defending the title. He punches Drake when Drake takes a shot at him, but the numbers game takes over. Hendry is laid out, and Drake mocks Hendry while holding up the NXT Championship.

Cutler James says Lennox is a future NXT Champion, then mentions that Tony D'Angelo has sent threatening words in their direction after they left him with nothing. He says DarkState is stronger than ever while D'Angelo is lonelier than ever, and tells D'Angelo do his soul searching somewhere else. Osiris and Saquon says that whoever messes with them will get put down, and Saquon warns The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance) that they do not want a piece of them. All of a sudden, Shawn Spears and Niko Vance are on the balcony, and Spears that they are smarter than to take them on 4-on-2, and Niko Vance says that what they did to them is a taste of what is to come and that they have come to purge them of the tag team titles. All of a sudden, the lights go out, and a spotlight is on the crowd. Bronco Nima is in the crowd, and says the tag team titles are not safe. Backstage, Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors meet in the trainer's room with Andre Chase. Uriah says he is not apologizing for taking a chance instead of waiting for one, then Arianna Grace, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Lexis show up and mock them. Dixon takes this as a challenge.

Tony D'Angelo makes his way to the ring. D'Angelo says it has been seven months since he got an opportunity to talk to the fans, and that he has some things to get off his chest. He says that the fans know his past in NXT and that he was a happy man a year ago who was surrounded by family, friends and people he could look in the eye and say that he has their back. D'Angelo says that this was all taken away from him, and that was the wake-up call he needed. He says that when you are good at what he is involved in, your life changes and you gain friends and family as well as a huge responsibility. He says that he needed to sit in a dark room and remember who he was on his own, and remember what he did before he came to NXT and remember what he did best: bouncing people's heads off the mat. D'Angelo says he returned to NXT the way that he did to keep people guessing and ensured that nobody knew anything, then says that this is a selfish business as well as a selfish time in NXT, which aligns exactly with his plans. He then says he has two reasons for coming back. One is punishing DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) for taking everything from him and taking everything from them in response. The other will be revealed when he is done with DarkState.

We hear from Shiloh Hill, who is studying other ladder matches for the one happening tonight. He also mentions what he knows about his opponents.

We hear from Jasper Troy, who says that destruction awaits for whoever wins the next Speed Championship Tournament.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Joe Hendry, who admits that he is banged up after The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) and Keanu Carver both banged up, but he will not let bruised ribs keep him from the NXT Championship. He says his smile has hidden frustration because he has not become a champion, and he will continue to climb the ladder and give the fans a bigger reason to believe.

We see the accomplishments of current and recently former NXT stars in the Royal Rumble matches. Je'Von Evans is the iron man in the men's match with 40 minutes and 58 seconds (40:58) in the ring.

Daria Rae is seen in the front row before the next match.

Backstage, "All Ego" Ethan Page meets with The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) and tells them to finish the job, then says he is done with Myles Borne. He also tells them to do whatever it takes to win, and to use their heads against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. Ethan then tells Jackson Drake not to rush into anything.

We see footage from before the show where Jaida Parker is attacked by Blake Monroe in front of fans. Security is forced to step in.

Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) is in the ring. Jacy asks the fans if they know what it feels like to have something only for it to be taken out from underneath at the last second. She talks about being in the women's Royal Rumble, and says that the match was going the way she dreamed it would go. She says that everything was perfect until Sol Ruca snuck up behind her, cheap shotted her and threw her over the top rope, taking her moment from her. Jacy says she has been carrying the women's division and that she was a better double champion than Sol Ruca was, then says that is time to kill the hype and defend the NXT Championship against Sol Ruca.
