Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 9, 2026

Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) beat Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno. After the match, both men shake hands, and after Frazer tells Noam that he has found his tag team partner, Moreno hugs Noam.

Backstage, Wren Sinclair tells Kendal that she will do fine without her, and that she will talk to Robert Stone about starting a new tournament for the Women's Speed Championship. Lola Vice shows up after Sinclair leaves, and Lola wishes Kendal luck before telling her that she hit her on accident, but Kendal notes that this is the second time this has happened and that she is not exactly buying it.

Sarah Schreiber reports from the Mr. NXT Pageant. Aaron Rourke, Kit Wilson and comedian Matt Mathews are the three judges. The first category is attire. Matt Mathews gives Shiloh Hill the nod, saying "That's a man right there," but Kit Wilson picks Tristan Angels over Shiloh, calling Shiloh's choices of attire "T for tacky." Rourke says he likes what Shiloh has going on, but he gives the nod to Tristan.

Naraku beats Mason Rook to become #1 contender for the NXT Championship following the distraction by Kam Hendrix.

Backstage, Tavion Heights, still angry about last week, thinks that Myles Borne only cares about the North American Championship and threatens to challenge Borne for it. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, Myka Lockwood) shows up, and Jackson Drake sarcastically states that Myles Borne is a great champion for handing out title opportunities to friends, then calls Tavion Heights a charity case. Tavion says he does not do hand-outs, yet he does hand out ass-whuppings. This leads to Drake challenging Tavion to a match where the winner challenges Borne for the North American Championship at The Great American Bash.

Wren Sinclair wishes Kendal Grey luck before the next match.

Tate Wilder is this week's NXT Spotlight.

Kendal Grey beats Kelani Jordan to become #1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship.

Sarah Schreiber reports from the second round of the Mr. NXT Pageant. Shiloh Hill's special talent is completing the Rubik's Cube in seconds before balancing two dumbbells on strings. Tristan Angels butts in to try to better Shiloh on the Rubik's Cube, but he exposes himself when he goes way past time. Angels breaks the cube by throwing it to the ground, then juggles three balls. Shiloh beats him by juggling three balls while riding a unicycle, and wins the talent portion.

Backstage, Blake Howard intevrviews Tony D'Angelo. D'Angelo says that Naraku had an incredible match, but despite his accomplishments, he does not get Naraku. He says that Naraku will have to bring everything he has to beat him before Naraku arrives and hands D'Angelo a black envelope and bows before him. Inside is a card.

Dion Lennox beats Jasper Troy. During the match, Saquon Shugars appears on the TitanTron, which briefly distracts Lennox. After the match, we see a video from Saquon Shugars that keeps buffering. All of a sudden, Saquon shows up from out of the crowd with a baseball bat and attacks Osiris Griffin.

We see an Instagram video of Jaida Parker and Nattie going at it at the Performance Center while everyone nearby tries to break up the brawl.

The public speaking portion of the Mr. NXT Pageant takes place in the ring. Tristan Angels says being the inaugural Mr. NXT is a task fit most for one man, and brags about being Mr. England and representing the country in international pageantry as well as how he was born a humble sheepherder so he can relate to the fans, who he trashes. He also says that he is celebrating his 23rd birthday and has "Mister NXT" tattooed on his leg, and says that the judges should take a long walk off of a short cliff if they even consider voting for "a hillbilly." Shiloh Hill says that he found out that the hardest part of the pageant is figuring out how to represent himself, and says that things change so fast that he is a different person each week. He says that he has yet to find himself, but that is what NXT is all about, and as long as he is willing to roll with the punches, everything will be right, and he embodies that very well, which is why he should be Mr. NXT. Matt Mathews is impressed with Shiloh Hill's ability to be himself, then says that he is glad Tristan Angels got rid of his "ramen noodle" hair before saying he does nothing for him. He picks Shiloh. Kit Wilson calls Shiloh's "raccoon thing" toxic, but also says that while Tristan is also toxic, there is also something about him, and picks Tristan. Aaron Rourke says that while Shiloh Hill embraces who he is, Tristan Angels looks the part, and leaves the final vote up to the fans. The fan vote results are revealed, and Shiloh Hill becomes the first Mr. NXT. Tristan Angels attacks Shiloh Hill with his cane, then hits him with a lungblower. Tristan then grabs a metal folding chair and strikes Shiloh repeatedly with it before driving him head-first into it with his knee.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone congratulates Naraku on becoming #1 contender for the NXT Championship. Keanu Carver shows up wanting a shot at the NXT Championship, then says that he is losing patience and wants some action. Stone says Carver will have an opponent next week, and Carver says that if that does not happen, he will pick who he faces next.

Backstage, Izzi Dame finds out that she is in the upcoming Women's Speed Championship tournament thanks to Shawn Spears, who wants to keep her on top of the women's division. He also mentions that Izzi's first opponent is Thea Hail, who Izzi dominated to become NXT North American Women's Champion. Izzi thinks this is a great idea.

Zaria beats Tatum Paxley (who wears Rouge the Bat-inspired gear for the match) to become the NXT North American Women's Champion after Tatum Paxley misses on a moonsault from the ring apron to the outside, allowing Zaria to hit an offensive flurry that leads to a third Spear and a second F-5 for the pin, the win and the title.

NXT Revenge, Week Two - NXT recap for April 21, 2026

Myles Borne retains the NXT North American Championship against Dion Lennox when the rest of DarkState's (Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) interference attempt backfires.

Backstage, Blake Monroe is focused on her casket match. "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes tells Blake that she has this match handled, and Jackson Drake tells Blake Monroe to send The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) a text if she needs anything.

Backstage, Saquon Shugars tries to get another match out of General Manager Robert Stone, while Shiloh Hill and Tatum Paxley talk about Tatum's casket match. Shiloh says that he has set up The Vanity Project on a date of sorts, then mentions that he has a match with Ricky Saints next week.

Keanu Carver beats Joe Hendry by referee stoppage following multiple forearms to a downed Hendry. (With Hendry heading to Raw next week to perform his first concert on the main roster, this is Hendry's last match in NXT.)

For this week's NXT Spotlight, we see a vignette for Lizzie Raine - formerly Rayne Leverkusen - who debuts next week. Lizzie says that everyone has thought she was too loud, but she will prove that rock will never die.

Lexis King beats EK Prosper to win the WWE Speed Championship Tournament and become the WWE Speed Champion after Arianna Grace slaps Prosper, who has to fend off Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors on the outside only for Lexis to hit the Coronation back in the ring to win the match and the vacant title.

Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes catch Jackson Drake's date on video for Instagram. Jackson Drake says that the date never showed, and as the three of them talk, Jackson says he will love again. All of a sudden, a rather tall and formidable-looking woman (Myka Lockwood, formerly Bayley Humphrey in LFG until last month) stands up in the background and asks Drake if he has been stood up.

Backstage, Saquon Shugars meets with the rest of DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin) and says that he got them a rematch. Lennox says he will beat Myles Borne this time, but Saquon told him that General Manager Robert Stone has put it on him to get the North American Championship for DarkState.

Tatum Paxley retains the NXT Women's North America Championship against Blake Monroe in a casket match following a Cemetery Drive on a stack of diamonds.

Jackson Drake gets to know the woman he just met, whose name is Myka. Myka mentions her career as a mortician's assistant (a reference to her real life job prior to becoming a wrestler), and tells Drake that his supposed date is an AI bot. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) soon realize that Shiloh Hill set Jackson Drake up, then Myka takes Drake out for tequila shots and lets Baylor and Smokes join them. On the way out, Myka shoves a guy who gets in her way powerfully enough to push him into a wall.

Lola Vice heads to the ring. Lola Vice says she made a statement against Jacy Jayne in her first title defense and showed what kind of champion she is going to be. She says that Jayne not only elevated the women's division, but reinvented herself. Lola then says that the hardest part of being a champion is keeping the title, and that she sees all eyes on her in the locker room. She says that everyone is making it clear that they want her title, and that her competitions are all threats. She then says she likes it, because holding the title means you are a future WrestleMania main event. Lola says she is ready to be "the realest champion," as everyone is wanting to make their mark. Lola then warns anybody who walks into Vice City to challenge her that they will be challenging a fighter and risking getting knocked out and danced on. All of a sudden, Izzi Dame shows up with The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance). Izzi says Lola is talking like she cleaned out the women's division in one defense, then asks Lola if she is beginning to feel it yet and says that she is watching and waiting for the moment Lola makes a mistake to strike. Izzi says that she will rip Lola apart, and when she becomes the next champion, Lola will thank her instead of cursing her. Lola says Izzi's waiting feels like hesitation, and that she will beat her ass when she is ready. Izzi reminds Lola that The Culling is one step ahead, and when Niko Vance grabs at Lola Vice's AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship, Izzi boots Lola in the face and knocks her out.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Birthright (Lexis King, Uriah Connors, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Arianna Grace, Charlie Dempsey). Lexis King says that the WWE Speed Champion is someone who was born to be a champion and that Birthright is not only full of stars, but that they will not stop until they are all champions. EK Prosper shows up and demands a rematch, stating that Lexis King won only because of the rest of Birthright. Dorian Van Dux shows up and also wants a fight, and as Uriah says that they can make that happen, Arianna says Birthright has a championship coronation to attend.

Kendal Grey talks about growing up competing with her older brother, being part of the wrestling team in school, and how she was a magnet for bad luck as a kid as part of this week's NXT Focus.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone is talking with Lola Vice, who says that she has the perfect person to help deal with The Culling. Suddenly, a crashing noise is heard, and Ricky Saints is attacking Shiloh Hill in Stone's office.

Backstage, General Manager Robert Stone runs into Tony D'Angelo when D'Angelo receives a box with a Chinese character on it as Stone mentions a potential challenge for the NXT Championship. Keanu Carver shows up and says he takes what he wants, then tells him that the Chinese character on the box is a symbol of war.

Sol Ruca beats Zaria in a Last Woman Standing Match. During the match, Sol Ruca and Zaria fight each other on top of the balcony, and as Zaria is about to fall off the edge and onto two tables, Sol Ruca pulls Zaria away. Sol Ruca and Zaria hug, then Zaria gets angry and shoves Sol Ruca off the edge and through one of the two tables below. Sol Ruca cannot get back up by the count of ten, and Zaria is last woman standing. (With Sol Ruca now a member of Raw, this is Sol Ruca's last match in NXT.)

Generation NXT - NXT recap for January 13, 2026

The NXT Championship is in the ring at the start of the show, and so is General Manager Ava. She mentions Oba Femi vacating the title and the massive opportunity that this will create. The locker room surrounds the ring as Ava says that regardless of whether anyone just walked through the door or has been here for a while, there is no better time than now. Ricky Saints shows up and thanks everyone for showing up tonight, then says that he ran NXT and says that Oba Femi was afraid of a rematch with him while also mentioning Je'Von Evans leaving. He says that the ring is surrounded by future champions, but they are the future and he is the now. Saints expects Ava to hand the title to him, but she refuses, saying that everyone else around the ring has demanded an opportunity. Ava then announces a six-man ladder match on February 3rd, and the winner of that match will become the new NXT Champion. She also announces that qualifying matches will start next week and that she cannot wait to see who make this moment their own. Ava then hangs the title onto a hook, which rises to the ceiling as the NXT locker room starts brawling. All of a sudden, a man in a black durag suddenly shows up and starts fighting people. He is identified as Keanu Carver, formerly from Evolve. Keanu Carver decimates everyone that he sees, and ends up being the last man standing in the entire brawl. Meanwhile, Ricky Saints has retreated, not believing what he is seeing.

Backstage, General Manager Ava is met by Robert Stone, who says that Blake Monroe is here and has a lot to get off her chest. Ava is not surprised.

Lola Vice beats Kelani Jordan with the spinning back fist after Kelani is caught by the referee using the middle rope for leverage during a roll-up.

We hear from Tavion Heights, who talks about how he broke out and showed what he was made of in 2025, then says that he will show what it is like to reach new heights in 2026 by beating Jasper Troy for the WWE Speed Championship. We then hear from Jasper Troy, who congratulates Heights for earning five minutes in the ring with him before stating that he does not need five minutes and that Heights' momentum will reach a dead end tonight.

Jasper Troy retains the WWE Speed Championship against Tavion Heights. After the match, Heights is attacked from behind by Lexis King, who soon hits him with the Coronation, still angry that Heights beat him in eight seconds.

Backstage, Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey are met by Sol Ruca and Zaria. Zaria says that she and Sol Ruca have the next shot at Jacy Jayne. When Jacy Jayne shows up, the four of them force her into General Manager Ava's office. Ava announces that she has spoken with Total Nonstop Action Director of Authority Santino Marella and that the three sides will face each other in a three-way tag match for a shot at the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, Lexis King brags about what he did to Tavion Heights to Chase University. Andre Chase calls this a teachable moment on what not to do, but Lexis says the men's division is wide open and the NXT Championship is his. Stacks and Arianna Grace shows up with Stacks agreeing with Lexis. Chase University leaves after Andre Chase disagrees. As Robert Stone shows up and tells Lexis King that what he did was not good, Myles Borne demands to be in one of the qualifying matches for the NXT Championship ladder match.

We see another vignette for Elio LaFleur, formerly known in the European scene as Aigle Blanc.

Backstage, General Manager Ava is met by "All Ego" Ethan Page, who thanks her for signing The Vanity Project before finding out that he will only qualify for the NXT Championship if he vacates the NXT North American Championship. He also finds out that he will be defending the NXT North American Championship next week against the debuting Elio LaFleur, much to his chagrin.

Blake Monroe heads to the ring. Blake says she showed up last week with every intention of regaining the Women's North American Championship, and that she was just "bringing a little Hell out to play" when she attacked Thea Hail, saying it was still her title in the first place. She then says that the powers that be turned everything into controversy and chaos and changed the narrative, making it look like she was the problem. Blake Monroe says that when one is as talented as her, people do not know what to do, and that they will call one controversial, debate one on controversy and nitpick what one does "wrong." She says that the spotlight is on her and that she is the moment. She proclaims that she lost patience, not control, with a system that does not know what to do when she does something that courts the least bit attention. As she says that she will give the other women their shine, Jaida Parker suddenly shows up. In Jaida's first appearance in months, Blake Monroe makes the mistake of interrupting her, and when she goes for the cheap shot, Jaida immediately fires back and hits her with Hip-Notic at the ring apron.

We hear from Shiloh Hill, who says that his 2025 was wild, as he won LFG Season 2 and found himself in some Christmas chaos. He then talks about how he brought some squirrels home for Christmas and how they tore up the Christmas tree and even had his grandfather chasing them with a sledgehammer. He laughs about his false tooth falling on Arianna Grace before stating that Total Nonstop Action and NXT will both find out why they should not sleep on him when he wins the TNA International Championship.

We hear from DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin), who talk about how they just came to take over NXT by sliding in with the best in 2025 and even winning the tag team titles before promising to go through the whole locker room and show what they are capable of in 2026.

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo retains the Total Nonstop Action International Championship against Shiloh Hill after Shiloh gets Stacks in an inside cradle only for Arianna to kick at Shiloh to reverse the pinfall and give Stacks the win.

Izzi Dame heads to the ring. Izzi calls her new title reign the fans' new reality before stating that she has not stumbled into success and that she outsmarted everyone else to get to this point. She also says that she does not waste losses like the one that she suffered against Tatum Paxley and that she studies them, and that she is learning NXT to see who is capable of what. Izzi says that loss gave her clarity and states that The Culling is about removing weakness, exploiting mistakes and making sure everyone is out of place so she can make her move, and because of all of this, she is now champion. She already knows that everybody wants a piece of her and her championship, including Lola Vice and Thea Hail, and proclaims that she is in control of who gets a shot at her and when. Izzi says she is a champion because she think faster, plan longer and pull the trigger without hesitation, and if anyone thinks they will get close to her title, they should know they are walking into a trap as part of a game that has already begun. Tatum Paxley suddenly runs into the ring with referees quickly chasing after her, and as the referees keep her back, one of them gets laid out by Tatum.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Ricky Saints. Saints says he has told General Manager Ava that he is owed a rematch for the NXT Championship and that he will also not only in the ladder match, but will also be sitting front and center for two of the qualifying matches. Those two qualifying matches will be "Super" Sean Legacy vs. Eli Knight and Shiloh Hill vs. Josh Briggs, and both will take place next week. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Arianna Grande show up when Saints mentions Shiloh Hill's name, with Stacks cursing Shiloh Hill's name for getting a shot at the title before him, but Saints reminds him he still has title and his girl before leaving. Lexis King then shows up and tells Stacks "Let's talk."

Backstage, Tatum Paxley is forced out of the building before The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) walk up to Blake Howard as he reports on it. The three of them look forward to the girls they will meet in the locker room, and Jackson Drake says that he should be able to qualify for the NXT Championship due to being Evolve Champion. Brad Baylor mentions that Swipe Right (Baylor and Smokes) have a tag team match next week against Chase University (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors) next week. Keanu Carver shows up, and after The Vanity Project run away, Carver makes it clear he is not in the mood to talk for the camera.

Joe Hendry beats Dion Lennox in a no-disqualification match that sees OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) brawl to the outside with the rest of DarkState (Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) and Tony D'Angelo suddenly show up to hit both men with a Uranage before placing Hendry on top of Lennox for the pin and the win. After the match, security shows up to deal with Tony D'Angelo, but D'Angelo easily floors them as General Manager Ava watches.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for January 21, 2025

Tony D'Angelo retains the NXT North American Championship against Ridge Holland. During the match, Shawn Spears shows up to watch from ringside. Later on in the match, Spears gets on the ring apron only to get punched down by D'Angelo. When Luca Crusifino and channing "Stacks" Lorenzo confront Spears, they are attacked by Niko Vance and Brooks Jensen. As referees are dealing with this, Izzi Dame suddenly shows up in the ring to boot Ridge in the face, allowing D'Angelo to retain.

Backstage, Wes Lee tells Dion Lennox that he is not championship material, and that leads Dion to challenge him to a match. Trick Williams suddenly shows up, and when Wes Lee mocks him, Trick slaps him.

Vengeance Day is Saturday, February 15th!

Bayley heads to the ring. Bayley says she was here last week because she cares about Roxanne Perez and the legacy is leaving, but that just earned her a slap to the face and being told she acted like CM Punk or Natalya. She says that NXT owes her - and Roxanne - nothing, and that she owes NXT to get rid of "little idiots" like Roxanne, who showed up on Raw and SmackDown to talk trash and put her hands on her. Bayley tells Roxanne that this does not prove she is ready to be the leader of the youngest locker room in history, and as Bayley says the sky is the limit for them, Giulia suddenly shows up. Giulia says she is in NXT because of women like Bayley, and says that while Roxanne may not look up to Bayley, she does. She says she hopes to hold the NXT Women's Championship with as much love and honor as Bayley did. Bayley admits she is a fan of Giulia and wanted her to win the title, and says she knows Giulia can make history. As Bayley mentions the history that the NXT Women's Championship has made, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade show up. Roxanne tells Bayley to drop the act and stop acting innocent, saying she would not have punched her in the face if she cared for the future. Cora agrees with Roxanne, saying that Bayley is no role model and that role models brought NXT up when people like Bayley chose to leave, and that she and Roxanne have held NXT up since day one. Roxanne says she will not take away from anything Bayley has done while she and Cora are being swamped with boos, then thanks Bayley for her service, saying it is no longer needed. Roxanne also says Bayley is the one who should be booed, saying she is eyeing the NXT Women's Championship and wants to be "the #1 woman in the #1 division," and tells Bayley to tell Giulia why she is really here. This leads to a brawl where Bayley and Giulia quickly come out on top.

Backstage, Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan argue over who got namedropped by Bayley, and Karmen Petrovic says it does not matter as love is in the air. Sol Ruca and Zaria first have to hold Kelani back from hitting Jaida, and when Jaida starts talking about Karmen's love life, they have to hold Karmen back, too. Meanwhile, the ringside brawl between the team of Bayley and Giulia and the team of Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade restarts.

Wes Lee beats Dion Lennox. After the match, Wes Lee calls out Trick Williams for slapping him in the face, saying he will take care of him next week. Trick shows up and punches Tyson Dupont out on the way out and sends Wes Lee out of the ring before accepting his challenge.

We see a video package chronicling what has been happening recently with Lexis King as well as his recent Heritage Cup match with Charlie Dempsey.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Stephanie Vaquer. Stephanie says she wants the Women's North American Championship and is not going to stop because Fallon Henley wants to play with her opportunities. She says that if Shotzi becomes champion, she will meet Hell, and if Fallon stays champion, she can run, but she cannot hide.

Lexis King retains the NXT Heritage Cup Championship two falls to one (2-1) against Charlie Dempsey. Lexis King scores the first fall with :27 (twenty-seven seconds) left in Round 2 after sitting down on a Sunset Flip attempy by dempsey. Charlie Dempsey scores the second fall with :33 (thirty-three seconds) left in Round 3 with a double underhook suplex bridge pin. Lexis King scores the third and deciding fall with :11 (eleven seconds) left in Round 4 afer Charlie Dempsey traps the referee between the corner and Lexis King, causing King to hit a low blow that the referee cannot see followed by the Coronation to win.

Backstage, Bianca Belair and Naomi tell Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson to bring everything they have and more if they want to take the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Backstage, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger meet with Andre Chase, who tells them to break up as all tag teams end in heartache. Chase then runs into Kale Dixon, who calls Andre Chase "a badass." Chase says he was a badass, but now Chase University is dead. Chae walks off, and Kale says it does not have to be.

Karmen Petrovic beats Jaida Parker with a schookid pin following the distraction by Kelani Jordan.

Backstage, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend are met by Sol Ruca and Zaria, who tells them that their match with Bianca Belair and Naomi is the biggest of their careers. Lash and Jakara are confident that they are going to win. Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin show up, looking forward to Lash and Jakara bringing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships to NXT.

Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance beat The D'Angelo Family (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino).

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interview Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Frazer says they are the best tag team on the planet when Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs show up. Inamura and Briggs think they are ducking them, but Frazer says they have yet to earn a title shot. Suddenly, OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) shows up, and this starts a three team brawl that referees have to break up.

Backstage, Dion Lennox is furious, while Izzi Dame briefly speaks with Tony D'Angelo and leaves. The rest of The D'Angelo Family (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, show up, saying they needed D'Angelo, but D'Angelo tells Stacks he has been underboss for two years and that he can figure things out on his own.

We see a video package chronicling the recent actions of "All Ego" Ethan Page.

As the ref checks on Dempsey, William Regal hands Lexis King brass knuckles, which Lexis refuses. Regal punches Lexis out, knocking the knuckles out of Lexis' hand. Meanwhile, Zaria thanks Sol Ruca for pushing her out of the way in last week's match when Izzi Dame shows up to tell them they are better off alone. Trick Williams makes a Triple Threat Match between himself, Thorpe and Oba, knowing the risks that comes with it, but says he will come out proving his doubters wrong. Oba says Trick is being slick, as he knows he cannot beat him one-on-one and has to put Thorpe in the title to keep the title. Oba then warns Thorpe that with him in the mix, his chances are zero. General Manager Ava shows up and says that if Trick wants this match, she will sign off on it. Trick says he wants this, and Ava makes the match official for New Year's Evil. Ava then announces that the contract signing right now is for Trick vs. Ethan. Trick is introduced to the ring first, and Trick says that while he is hurting and in pain, it does not change the fact that Pete Dunne is "still a Butch." He says that he and Dunne went to war and that Ethan Page tried to hold him down, but he was still last man standing, and in two weeks, he will make history by beating Ethan for the NXT Championship. Ethan Page shows up to become an absolute buzzkill as Trick and the crowd chants "Whoop that trick," and Ethan says that while Trick has every right to be confident, he is Trick's Kryptonite. We see parking lot footage of Trey getting in his car only for Wes Lee to attack him. Wentz says he does not know when Trey will be back in action, then calls Wes Lee "an absolute piece of garbage" for his actions after everything they have been to and that Wes deserves everything that will happen to him in Chicago, Illinois. He says that the pain he will put Wes through in their street fight will be ten times worse than Wes' loss at No Mercy, and that this will end in Chicago.

Backstage, General Manager Ava meets with Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who says that he can get the contract signing done. Roxanne mentions her NXT Women's Championship match with Giulia, then says that Punk is her all-time favorite wrestler and one of the reasons that she got into the business, but admits she always preferred AJ Lee. This leads into an "AJ" chant. She says that she was happy to see him return at Survivor Series, but then says she should have been a Drew McIntyre fan and that CM Punk wants to be in the Chicago show because he wants one more moment of glory before McIntyre ends his career. Roxanne tells him to stay home because she does not need him there, then says that the show will soon become hers because it is all about her. She then says that she does not care about how popular Giulia is in Japan and that it is all about her, then says "Tell me when I'm telling lies," then says that as a wise man one said, she would rather be hated for something she is than loved for something she is not. Punk gives Roxanne credit for maximizing her minutes, as he loves an overconfident champion. He says that the NXT Women's Championship and the chip on her shoulder makes Roxanne not just the best in NXT, but in WWE, and that none of that will matter when Giulia hands her ass to her. After Punk says he did not come here to talk about her or Giulia, the lights go out, and Giulia shows up. She gets in the ring and tells Roxanne that the countdown is on and that she has two weeks left. Roxanne goes for a cheap shot, but Punk stops her, and Giulia wags her finger in Roxanne's face.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Kelani Jordan says that when it comes to The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx), nobody is off-limits, as they will attack anyone they see. She knows she has a target on her back and that she will defend against women who excel in the ring, not in insults. She also considers holding her own open challenge one day like Jordynne Grace, and when she does, she had better see a member of The Fatal Influence step up to the plate. Suddenly, Wren Sinclair suddenly shows up and says that Charlie Dempsey told her to make a name for herself, then slaps Kelani in the face and says she is doing it now. Kelani then chases Wren out of the interview area.

We hear from Wes Lee, who brags about his actions on X (formerly Twitter) and says that if Trey Miguel had been at No Mercy, he would have sent him back to TNA. He says he had to do what he had to do and that the street fight with Zachary Wentz will end everything.

On X (formerly Twitter), A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) talk about never having held the NXT Tag Team Championship, and consider challenging Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the titles next week. Frazer and Axiom respond on X, saying they accept. The match is official for October 8th.

Lola Vice beats Jacy Jayne despite Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley's attempted interference in the match. After the match, The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) attack Lola Vice, then Jaida Parker runs into the ring and takes them all out single-handedly, with Jacy Jayne having to be helped out of the ring. Lola confronts Jaida, and referees have to hold them back.

D'Angelo says he has disrespected and failed the family, but Adrianne says that D'Angelo has to carry that fear and that no matter what, he will always have the family. She says she is seeing what this is doing to D'Angelo and knows that he wants another shot at Oba Femi, and D'Angelo says he does. Adrianne Rizzo says that if D'Angelo loses, he will do it through the fear, then tells him that the family believes in him and that he must believe in himself.

Tyrese Haliburton is in the ring to get Trick Williams and "All Ego" Ethan Page to sign the contract for their match, then says he has reinforcements in the front row in the form of his Indiana Pacers teammates. The crowd boos, and Tyrese says he would boo too if he were an Orlando Magic fan. Trick Williams shows up and shows respect to Tyrese, saying that just like how Team USA won gold in Paris, he will win gold in Chicago, Illinois. Trick then calls out Ethan Page, telling him to sign the contract before he signs his forehead with a Gucci loafer. Ethan Page shows up as Trick signs the contract and says this is ridiculous, and says he gave Trick an out but did not take it. Ethan says that if he has to sign the contract, he will do it, then says that when it comes to the NXT Championship, he is the Boston Celtics, and when he beats Trick in Chicago, he will be like the Indiana Pacers and the rest of the NBA when he has to watch him be victorious. Ethan then says he will continue to carry the championship and the brand, then signs the contract. Tyrese declares the championship match official, then says Trick knows what time it is before bringing out CM Punk. Punk gets in the ring and thanks Tyrese, then says Roxanne is soon to be the former NXT Women's Champion and announces that Ethan and Trick's match is so big that it needs something special. The fans chant "Referee," and CM Punk agrees the match needs a special guest referee, which is none other than himself. He says the only rule is that the official will be listened to, and since he is the official, they can start fighting right now. Trick and Ethan immediately brawl with referees and security moving quickly into place while CM Punk leads a "Let them fight!" chant to end the show.

Backstage, Edris Enofé and Malik Blade confront Shawn Spears for his actions concerning Brooks Jensen, and Shawn Spears that they are both lost just like Jensen before attacking them. Blade and Enofé soon turn the tables behind some metal shelves, and Shawn Spears ends up being the one who is laid out even as Brooks Jensen shows up.

No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, Wren Sinclair) are in the ring with the Heritage Cup Championship. Charlie Dempsey quotes Lou Thesz and Billy Robinson before stating that the legacy of the Heritage Cup has been restored. After the interruption by Wren Sinclair, he says that The D'Angelo Family's (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Adriana Rizzo, Luca Crusifino) reign of terror is over, and that they will make the Heritage Cup the most prestigious title in NXT. As Sinclair says that Charlie will defend the cup anywhere against anyone at anytime, Oba Femi shows up and congratulates No Quarter Catch Crew before stating that his title is the most prestigious and is held by the most dominant champion. He says that he has defended his title against many strong contenders, and will not hesitate to add the Heritage Cup Champion to that mix. Suddenly, The D'Angelo Family arrives, and when Charlie asks if they want a rematch, Tony D'Angelo says that he has his eyes on something else, and that he and his family do not forget and will handle their business. D'Angelo and Oba Femi have a staredown as the rest of the family fights No Quarter Catch Crew, and D'Angelo avoids being powerbombed to plant Oba Femi with a spinebuster.

Backstage, Ashante "Thee" Adonis is seen talking to some women, who then notice Dion Lennox and tell him that they are excited to see his match. Je'Von Evans is also backstage, and as Wren Sinclair asks Je'Von to watch the cup, Gallus shows up and says the cup is about "real wrestling," which Je'Von knows nothing about. Cedric Alexander shows up, but Joe Coffey takes this as Cedric showing up to fight Je'Von's battles. Je'Von says he does not need anybody to fight his battles, but Joe Coffey says they will see about that.

Ashante "Thee" Adonis beats Dion Lennox.

Jakara says they need to get it together, as that is what Noam Dar would want.

"All Ego" Ethan Page guests on commentary for the next match.

Joe Hendry beats Pete Dunne and Wes Lee to face "All Ego" Ethan Page for the NXT Championship at No Mercy despite Ethan Page's blatant interference by pulling the referee out of the ring and keeping the second referee out, which allows Trick Williams to show up from out of nowhere and hit Dunne with the Trick Shot before getting the first referee back in the ring to count the pinfall attempt for Hendry. After the match, Ethan Page is livid, and Zachary Wentz comes out of the crowd to brawl with Wes Lee. Security and officials show up to keep both Wentz and Wes Lee apart as the show ends.
