Kamille quickly beats Big Anne during Zero Hour. After the match, Willow Nightingale shows up with a taped-up shoulder as a member of medical and a referee hold her back and gets in the ring, but Kamille attacks Willow further.
"Jungle" Jack Perry retains the AEW National Championship against Mark Davis with a hurricanrana into a sit-down pin during Zero Hour.
The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) retain the AEW World Women's Tag Team Championships against Hyan and Maya World during Zero Hour.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) beat The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita and "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada) after Takeshita initally stops the Meltzer Driver only to let the move happen and have Okada gets piledriver in the middle of the ring after Takeshita and Okada finally start hating each others' guts late in the match and stop being on the same page.
Ricochet beats Chris Jericho with the Spirit Gun followed by the Lionsault, the latter at the behest of Toa Liona.
Darby Allin beats Andrade el Idolo after countering The DM with the Last Supper to earn a shot at the AEW World Championship. Darby and Andrade shake hands after the match.
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage after tossing Christian Cage over the timekeeper's table and countering Copeland's Spear with a Shatter Machine.
Backstage, we hear from Willow Nightingale, who says it takes more than blindsiding her to make a comeback. She then says she will kill Kamille's comeback at Spring Break Thru next week.
"The Jet" Kevin Knight beats Daniel Garcia, Tommaso Ciampa, Rush, Bandido, "Speedball" Mike Bailey, El Clon, PAC, Anthony Bowens and Wheeler Yuta in a Casino Gauntlet Match to win the vacant TNT Championship after hitting Garcia with the UFO Splash while Garcia has "Speedball" Mike Bailey in the Dragonslayer.
Backstage, Jamie Hayter drinks a fifth of beer before heading for the ring for the next match.
"The Toxic Thekla" retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Jamie Hayter after pinning Hayter with a bridge pin following a German suplex in the corner and grabbing the bottom rope for leverage.
Jon Moxley retains the AEW Continental Championship against Will Ospreay after hitting a piledriver on the ring steps before hitting a Paradigm Shift followed by a Death Rider to win and retain.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Darby Allin, who says that next week's Dynamite is where his career began and that next week, "it's showtime."
In a sitcom-style entrance before the next match, Kyle O'Reilly - who has not been in action in months - is revealed to be Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong's partner. When The Dogs (Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, David Finlay) make their entrance, they vandalize the set, with David Finlay destroying the door with a hammer and Gabe Kidd taking a leak on the couch before Connors topples it.
The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly) beat The Dogs (Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, David Finlay) by submission with an ankle lock from Kyle O'Reilly to Clark Connors, despite everything going on around O'Reilly, to become the AEW World Trios Champions! (During the match, Gabe Kidd suffers an shoulder injury and is helped to the back by medical. He is later ruled to be out indefinitely during the post-show.)
Kenny Omega has a special "one winged" intro before heading to the ring for tonight's main event. MJF receives a "Devil" entrance, complete with a black thorned crown and a black robe with red upside-down crosses, on his way to the ring.
MJF retains the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega. Before the match, referee Bryce Remsburg forces MJF to hand him the Dynamite Diamond Ring. During the match, MJF moves out of the One Winged Angel and uses Remsburg as a human shield for a knee before getting the Dynamite Diamond Ring back from out of Remsburg's pocket. Omega is soon able to hit One Winged Angel, but even with referee Paul Turner showing up to officiate the rest of the match, MJF kicks out. Both MJF and Omega eventually fight on the apron, and MJF hits Omega with the Dynamite Diamond Ring before hiding the ring in his trunks. MJF then puts Omega through a table with a Tombstone Piledriver, then hits the Heatseeker to win and retain. After the match, MJF returns to the throne at the stage and sits at it, which then sinks back into the stage as the show fades to black.

Backstage, Zeda Zhang interviews The Evantourage ("Main Event" Evan Daniels, Damian Desire, Bryce Saturn). Evan Daniels announces that he will defend the Television Championship on all of the UWN shows, and in two weeks, he will defend the title in Gotham Wrestling against "The Greek God" Papadon. As Evan Daniels says that he will come out on top against Papadon, Bryce Saturn and Damian Desire tells Evan Daniels that they will not be with him at Gotham Wrestling.
Fidel Bravo and Zokre beat The Krusty Krew (Dom Kubrick and Lucas Riley) in an exclusive match from Thunder Studios.
"One in a Million" Maximilien retains the UWN Heritage Championship against Buck Skynyr by submission with the Max Factor in an exclusive match from Thunder Studios.
Backstage, Zeda Zhang is reporting on the whereabouts of The Krusty Krew (Dom Kubrick and Lucas Riley). 5150 (Danny Limelight and Slice Boogie) suddenly show up from behind a door and reveal that they have attacked Dom Kubrick.
Lucas Riley beats Slice Boogie with a roll-up to earn an upset victory. After the match, (Danny Limelight and Slice Boogie) 5150 beat up Lucas Riley, but they run away when Dom Kubrick runs into the ring. Danny Limelight says that The Krusty Krew (Dom Kubrick and Lucas Riley got lucky and that 5150 are still tag team champions at the end of the night, and that The Krusty Krew are still their bitches. Slice Boogie says that The Krusty Krew will never beat them.
Backstage, Zeda Zhang interviews Vinny Pacifico. Pacifico is interrupted by Rob McKnight, who tells him to stop whining and go back to New York. Pacifico shoves Rob, Rob shoves back, and both men brawl before officials break things up.
Vinny Pacifico beats Rob McKnight after spitting his energy drink into Rob McKnight's face.
Gypsy Mac vs. Simone from April's edition of Sunday Night Slam is replayed.
We hear from Fly Def (Warren J and Zackzilla). Warren J re-introduces himself and Zackzilla, and Zackzilla mentions the tag team title opportunity from 5150 (Danny Limelight and Slice Boogie) that did not go their way. Zackzilla says they plan to make an impact by taking on The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito), and Warren J wants to show them who the new tag team running things around here is.
Jordan Cruz retains the UWN World Championship against The OXP after The OXP kicks The Epic off the ring apron after The Epic places Jordan Cruz's foot on the bottom rope to break a pinfall attempt. The OXP then leaps from the top rope only for Jordan Cruz to catch him for No More Sorrow to pin, win and retain.
It is announced that Jon Moxley will be replacing PAC as one of the World Trios Champions due to an injury that PAC has suffered in the last week.
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) head to the ring. He had hopes that Dax would be wrong, but it became clear to him that Copeland only cared for himself and held FTR back to raise up his own career. He says that when Copeland was down on the mat, he had to be the one to do it. He says that he is not the helpless kid that Copeland once saw him as and that Copeland disrespected him as a man, and that anyone who disrespects him will have to pay. Cash says FTR are grown men and will be treated as such. Dax says that last week, he saw a sign in the crowd that said "Why FTR Why," then says "Why not?" He says the fans should be thanking them, as they gave Copeland everything he wanted, as he begged for relevancy at FTR's expense and FTR gave it to him. He says that regardless of what the fans thing, what FTR did was right, and while they do not owe anyone an explanation, he will have fun with this. Dax says FTR was irrelevant for four months so that Copeland could win one more world title and prove he is still the man. He says Copeland is "too damn selfish," especially after FTR has won ten tag titles in seven worldwide companies, then says there are fans and people in the locker room are not happy with, and asks Tony Schiavone to come to the ring. Nigel McGuinness tries to talk Tony Schiavone out of this, but Tony heads to the ring anyway. He tells FTR that they were wrong, and after they brought tag team wrestling back, they turned on Copeland. He also says that he mentioned Dax's daughter being affected by all this. This leads to FTR attacking Tony. Nigel stands up, takes off his headset and heads to the ring before they can do the spike piledriver, and tells him to get out. Daniel Garcia runs into the ring, and Dax shoves him. Nigel gets Tony out of the ring, and FTR help Garcia up before hugging him and leaving. Garcia checks on Schiavone.
We hear from "Timeless" Toni Storm, who says that while Megan Bayne is a monster, the tramp is still the champ. She wishes everyone in the women's Owen Hart Tournament good luck before mocking everyone in it (and praising Kris Statlander).
Jamie Hayter beats Billie Starkz to advance in the women's Owen Hart Tournament. During the match, it is announced that next week's Collision will air on Thursday at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central due to the NBA playoffs.
We hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir). Claudio says they expected casualties, but they do not mourn them, for only in death does duty end. He says they are still front and center and that they will accept The Opps' (Samoa Joe, Hook, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) challenge. Claudio says this will be a lesson for "play wrestlers" who do not want to come to work, and that what matters is in the front line. He says that this will be Hook's biggest match ever, but reminds him that chicks dig scars.
Backstage, Lexy Nair tries to get an interview with FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) when "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker confront them. Parker says they can see through FTR's "bullshit" and will not let them pull the wool over Daniel Garcia's eyes. Menard says they will not sit back and let this happen. Dax Harwood accepts their challenge for tonight, and that Daniel Garcia will be at ringside.
Anthony Bowens beats Blake Christian after Billy Gunn helps take out "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson on the outside. After the match, Bowens says this has been a long time coming and that it is time to level up, as he is AEW's "five-tool player" and "the pride of professional wrestler." He says he does not need a trademark to say he is the best because he will prove it every week. He then asks who will be the next to step up and get Mollywhopped by the Five Tool Player.
Megan Bayne beats LMK and Kelly Madan in a two-on-one handicap match.
AR Fox beats "The Jet" Kevin Knight.
Backstage, we hear from Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Kaun says they are back, and that they do mind behind hurt. He then challenges The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) to a tag team match on Dynamite.
Daniel Garcia shows up to watch the next match from ringside.
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard following two spike piledrivers on a bloodied Daddy Magic. After the match, Daniel Garcia - who confronted FTR for the two spike piledrivers and the attempt at a third one - confronts FTR again. FTR leaves as Garcia checks on Daddy Magic, then return and attack Garcia before hitting him with a spike piledriver. Security and referees show up before FTR can hit a second one, and referee Mikey Posey gets shoved before FTR go for the move again. Suddenly, Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) rush in and force FTR to retreat.
Athena beats Harley Cameron to advance in the women's Owen hart Tournament.
We see footage of The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) mention their fear of heights as they head into the WrestleCenter.
We see footage of Matt Hardy with the fans (and James Ellsworth) at the WrestleCenter.
Dustin Starr interviews Matt Hardy at the announce desk. Matt says that today's event has been spectacular and that today's ladder match will be exciting to watch, even though it is the most dangerous match in wrestling due to the high heights and the ladder being used as a weapon. He advises both teams to beat their opponents down and incapacitate them before going for the title, then says he will be guesting on commentary for this match.
Tim Grind and Xya Wolfe beat James Ellsworth and Shazza McKenzie in a mixed tag match.
"Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock finds a state law that he thinks he can use against Memphis Wrestling over having an unsafe workplace, then promises that The Hollywood Clique (Ray Collins and Jay Smooth) will be the new tag team champions.
"The Gift" Ray Sanders meets with Matt Hardy in the parking lot, and asks for advice from going from a tag team superstar to a solo superstar. Matt tells Sanders that if he believes in himself, he can become a great singles star.
Mike Anthony retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Gio Savage by TKO with a triangle choke.
We see footage of Memphis Wrestling in front of the FedExForum as well as Matt Hardy and Grizz vs. Sycho Simon and Aaron Roberts at Memphis Grizzles Wrestling Night.

We hear from CJ Blaine, who says that he had CJ Money's back when nobody else did. He says they were a team until Momma Money showed up, then CJ Money attacked him. CJ Blaine reveals that he has his own belt, then says that everyone knows what they say about payback.

K-Toomer and Big John Dalton beat The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont), The O'Neal Brothers (Steven and Devin O'Neal), The Hollywood Clique (Ray Collins and Jay Smooth), The Righteous Path (Brother Bruce and Marrow) and The Memphis Mizarks (Jackson Crowley and Abel Booker) in Memphis Wrestling's first-ever ladder match to become the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Champions! After the match, Matt Hardy personally congratulates K-Toomer and Big John Dalton on winning the titles. The show ends with Big John Dalton and K-Toomer celebrating with the fans.
Orange Cassidy beats Alex Reynolds after taking out John Silver. After the match, Renee Paquette interviews Orange Cassidy in the ring. On the subject of Trent Beretta, Orange is about to speak when Trent shows up. Chuck Taylor shows up from behind Orange, and stops Trent from getting in the ring. Trent and Chuck then leave in different directions.
Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Anna Jay, who says nobody is taking anything seriously like she is and that everyone is "kissing and messing around." Suddenly, AZM shows up and says Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May are stupid, then tells "Timeless" Toni Storm to kiss her ass.
Julia Hart retains the TBS Championship against "Legit" Leyla Hirsch with an inside cradle. Under House Rules, Brody King is banned from ringside.
Backstage, we hear from Don Callis, Powerhouse Hobbs and Kyle Fletcher. Callis says Hobbs and Fletcher will take on The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson), and he wants Danielson punished and compromised before his match with Will Ospreay. He says that he wants to "protect the golden goose" as he wants this done "old school" and that he wants Danielson "in the dirt" in advance of Dynasty so that Ospreay can deliver golden matches for the Don Callis Family.
Zak Knight beats "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker. At one point in the match, Saraya and Harley Cameron get themselves evicted from ringside so that Knight can hit Parker with a kick to the groin.

Backstage, Kyle O'Reilly challenges Rocky "Azucar" Romero to a match, saying that he is a great wrestler and wants to face him in AEW. Romero says he feels likewise, then says he plans on beating Roderick Strong in an Eliminator Match and again for the International Championship. O'Reilly says he looks forward to potentially challenging for the International Championship, and after Romero leaves, Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Wardlow) shows up. Roderick Strong says he will give Romero the beating of a lifetime as he takes offense to O'Reilly wanting to challenge him for the International Championship. O'Reilly says it would be good to be champion, but Roderick Strong says he can be champion, just not International Champion, and that he can do whatever he wants on his own as long as it does not involve him.
We see a video package for The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson) vs. The Don Callis Family (Powerhouse Hobbs and Kyle Fletcher) on Collision as well as Danielson's match with Will Ospreay at Dynasty.

Gia Miller interviews Rosemary for Around The Ring. Rosemary stays in character as they state that Courtney Rush "still has her uses" and that they are sometimes needed in the spirit realm for "high security reasons," and that Courtney Rush plays a lot of video games. As to why Courtney is "the vessel," Rosemary says that while they could have picked any meat suit that they wanted, there is someone for everyone and there is an ideal vessel for every demon who is genetically coded to take their soul more willingly. They say that a lot of human cannot handle being possessed by a demon soul and end up burning up and turning to ash, and that the relationship is more symbiotic than parasitic. Rosenary says that their favorite job is her only job: being the one true heir to the demon realm, and recently, they have started to take that job more seriously after rejecting the inheritance in former years and has taken more responsibility towards the realm when Father is finished (or when they finish him). On the subject of the demon realm being lovely this time of year, Rosemary warns that it depends on where you go and that the Dark Forest is always dangerous with the hell hounds running loose. She also wants that nobody lasts more than a few minutes in the demon realm without a guide. They also mentions that "The Bunny" will always be with them in one way or another as she talks about the cane with the bunny head at the top.
We look back at Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) for the TNA World Tag Team Championships in a two-out-of three falls match from the August 12, 2010 episode of iMPACT!.
In backstage footage from earlier today, Sarah Schreiber interviews Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey. Carlee says that when Kendal walked into the Performance Center six month ago, she was taken aback by how much she looked like her and how she was also able to manhadle women bigger than her with ease, and that there could be something in them as a tag team with Kendal's amateur wrestling background with the ground and pount and her cheerleading background which is all agility. She then says that even though they look a lot alike, they accentuate their strength in a lot of ways. Kendal says they have the best of both worlds, and while she is down to business, Carlee is more like "What's not to love?" She knows from Carlee's previous match with Blair Davenport that Davenport is cold and calculated, and that Stevie Turner will be the exact same way. Kendal says that while they may have lost to Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) in their last match, they have put NXT on notice, and they are coming back stronger and better than ever as they get their first win against Blair Davenport and Stevie Turner.

Eddy Thorpe beats Dion Lennox. After the match, both men shake hands after Lennox is initially reluctant.
"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring to start tonight's show. The crowd chants "You deserve it!" before Cody talks about how he was interrupted by The Rock on Monday and wondered, just like his wife Brandi Rhodes, "Who told you tonight was open mic night, bitch?" He admits the air got colder and the mood changed as The Rock put something in his hand, and that while it was uncomfortable and awkward, he believed him when he says he was returning to Hollywood and believed him more when he said he would return for him. Cody tells The Rock that he will be right here waiting, then addresses Backlash, which will happen in France in three weeks, when he faces either Santos Escobar, Rey Mysterio, LA Knight, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley or Kevin Owens for the Undipusted WWE Universal Championship. Cody says it is not lost on him that tonight is sold out, and he looks out at the crowd. He says that he is now the hunted and not the hunter, and "If you come at the king, you'd best not miss."
Backstage, The Bloodline (Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa) are shocked that Roman Reigns' dressing room now belongs to "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. Kevin Owens shows up, goes through the door, tells them they are not invited, and that there is a broom closet nearby. Solo says he will take care of things, but Heyman tells him that winning and losing matters and that there are consequences to losing. He says that if they want the dressing room back, the title must come back to The Bloodline, by order of Roman Reigns.
LA Knight beats Santos Escobar and Bobby Lashley in a Triple Threat Match to help determine a #1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship that sees Humberto and Angel get involved only to get beaten down by The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford).
Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews The Latino World Order. Rey Mysterio says Santos Escobar's loss earlier is karma, and Carlito says that "Santos is all cap." Rey says the truth will eventually surface regardless of how it gets twisted, then says he is focused on AJ Styles and Kevin Owens and he believes he has another run as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
The Bloodline (Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso) head to the ring. Paul Heyman states that The Bloodline have no excuses for Roman Reigns losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship as "accountability is a big word on the island of relevancy" and that Roman insists on accountability. He says that Roman entered the ring strategically and unemotional, and that Cody was able to flip the script at WrestleMania 40, that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins told the truth, and that Roman gave in to temptation after ten years of waiting for revenge on Rollins. Heyman says that when Roman gave in to temptation, Cody was strategic and prepared, and it was over. He says Cody is the champion now, but as he says that Roman will rise from the ashes, Solo stops him, asking if losing and winning matters and if there are consequences for losing, then says consequences mean change. He then pushes Heyman out of the way, stares down Jimmy, then hugs him much like Roman Reigns would. He then says "You're my brother. I love you," before Jimmy is attacked from behind by a man in a black hoodie, who is none other than Tama Tonga, who has recently left New Japan Pro Wrestling. Solo then stops Tama Tonga so that he can personally hit Jimmy Uso with the Samoan Spike, then Tama Tonga raises a finger upwards while Solo guides Heyman to the ring and also raises a finger up. Solo then takes Heyman's phone and stomps on it, then Tama Tonga grabs a chair at Solo's command. Solo takes the chair and wraps it around Jimmy's neck in the corner before hitting him with the hip attack.
Bron Breakker quickly beats Cameron Grimes.
We hear from "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who says that tonight is the night to fix what went wrong at WrestleMania. He says Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio are collateral on his path to the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, as he will demolish everything in his path to the title and that it is just business. After stating he will go through Owens and Rey to get what he wants, he states that it will be a taste for what LA Knight will get next week.
Bayley heads to the ring. The crowd chants "You deserve it!" before Bayley says it feels so good and so proud to be WWE Women's Champion, and while it is not her first time as champion, she had to beat someone she once considered a friend in Iyo Sky to do it. She says that she also gets to call herself champion for a new era as she part of one of the best locker rooms she has ever been part of, and she also thanks the fans for being behind her every step of the way. As she prepares to give a brand new opportunity to anyone to face her as champion, Tiffany Stratton shows up and says it was rude not to be given an opportunity at WrestleMania before saying Bayley is building up to an open challenge, which she accepts because it is "Tiffy Time." Bayley says it is not an open challenge and that she had someone else in mind: Naomi. Tiffany says Naomi could not win a title if it glowed in the dark. Naomi shows up, and Tiffany says she and Bayley were in the middle of something and that she already beat Naomi. Naomi says Tiffany tried her on the wrong night and that she has earned all her accomplishments in WWE, and she is not stopping now. She says that the championship match will have to wait, as she wants "Clueless Tiffany" right now.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton reports that Jimmy Uso is in the trainer's room. Paul Heyman emerges from the room, and before Heyman can say anything, Tama Tonga stares down Heyman and tells him "By orders of the Tribal Chief." Solo Sikoa then shows up and stares menacingly at Heyman before he and Tama leave.
Naomi beats Tiffany Stratton with a jackknife pin after Tiffany mouths off at Bayley.
We hear from Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, who brag about winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championships while Grayson Waller brags about Theory's recent history of winning titles at WrestleMania. Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis is meeting with The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne), and he says they will find Waller and Theory new challengers next week.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Kevin Owens. Owens borrows the microphone, carries a Detroit Tigers championship and says he hopes that "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles is suffering from some PTSD from LA Knight's home invasion. He also says that he and Rey Mysterio have sons who are taller than they are and that his son is not a disappointment while Dominik "just sucks." He then says Styles and Rey are in his way, and he will beat both of them tonight before stepping out onto the ramp.
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens in a Triple Threat Match to help determine a #1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and face LA Knight next week for #1 contendership after hitting an avalanche Styles Clash on Rey onto Owens. After the match, LA Knight shows up and has a staredown with Styles in the ring.

In Bridgeport, Connecticut, Tony Khan's private jet lands while David LaGreca's interview with Khan on Busted Open Radio plays.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick jackson) head to the arena and speak with Christopher Daniels. They hope that the fans will still like them when they return, but Daniels tells them that if they act like they always do, they will be untouchable. Meanwhile, Matt says that the healing process will not start until they get back in the ring.
Backstage, Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo are met by Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy compliments Sammy on his recent match with "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. We then find out he has a match with Claudio Castagnoli, Danielson and Chris Jericho and that he hopes to prove that he belongs in AEW and that he is "the man."
Saraya watches Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. cut a promo along with other people backstage. Britt says they have to deliver at Full Gear Renee Paquette does an interview with Saraya, and Britt notes that Saraya is at a level where people outside of just wrestling can identify. She says that she hopes to reach that level one day.
Dynamite in Bridgeport, Connecticut takes place. Sammy has his match, which ends up being a success, and Sammy looks forward to what will happen next. Meanwhile, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Kenny Omega find out they are coming back at Full Gear, and Nick Jackson says that any feeling of imposter syndrome is gone for the moment while Matt Jackson says that there is no turning back and that anything can happen.
At Newark, New Jersey, Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo are at Dave & Busters. Both of them have a tequila shot before shooting hoops and having dinner. Tay Melo, despite being happy for Sammy, wishes she had a match at Full Gear, which is two days away. Tay wants to be back in the ring so she can remind people of who she is and what she can do. Sammy says he almost feels to blame for Tay's career being "almost on pause."
At the hotel in Newark, New Jersey, Britt Baker talks about her juggling wrestling and dentistry. As she talks with Tony Schiavone, she finds out that Thunder Rosa may be stripped of the AEW Women's World Championship as the locker room is on edge about the status of the women's championship. Tony tells Britt to just worry about her match on Saturday.
On the day of Full Gear, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Kenny Omega get ready for their return.
Hours before Full Gear, Britt Baker does a media interview in the press room while Sammy Guevara tries on his entrance gear for the night as he hopes that his match is a success.
Ninety minutes before Full Gear, Saraya gets ready for her match with her bother Zak Zodiac. Forty-five minutes before the show, Britt Baker is hoping not to be the one who forcefully re-retires Saraya. Thirty minutes before the show, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) get mentally prepared for the show.
Full Gear finally happens. Claudio Castagnoli says that tonight will prove whether Sammy Guevara can hang, and Sammy hopes that tonight's match goes well. Meanwhile, Tay Melo still wishes that she had a match tonight. Thankfully, the match goes well, especially for Sammy, which he says is an honor.
The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Kenny Omega head out for their match. Nick says they have to succeed tonight or else their future is uncertain. Thankfully, the match with Death Triangle (PAC, Penta el Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix) is a smashing success, and The Young Bucks feel like they are truly back.
Britt Baker and Saraya have their match. At one point, during the match, Saraya clutches her neck, but she is able to get back up. Britt continues to work the neck, but Saraya is still able to win the match and the match is a success. Saraya says she feels fantastic, and backstage, Britt tells Saraya that she did amazing. Britt says she is proud of Saraya for going through what she went through tonight, and that she looks forward to the future of the women's division.
After the show, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) are excited to be back in the ring. Sammy Guevara says that while tonight was not his night, it does not mean that tomorrow will not be. Britt is happy that her match was a success. Afterwards, the media scrum takes place, and MJF declares AEW to be "destination television."
Darby Allin beats Swerve Strickland with the Last Supper despite the distraction from Prince Nana, being tripped from the outside by "The Machine" Brian Cage (which gets Cage and Nana ejected) and Swerve grabbing a chair only to have it kicked into his face. After the match, MJF shows up. After the commercial break, MJF addresses Darby in the ring, saying he will give credit where credit is due as Darby had an incredible match, especially when "Daddy Sting" was not out there, then admits that they both had one of the greatest match ever at Full Gear 2021. He then admits that they both had one of the greatest match ever at Full Gear 2021. After stating that Darby may be one of his best opponents, he still beat him with a headlock takeover, and questions the idea of Darby beating him for the "Triple B." MJF tells Darby that he is "not on the level of the Devil," Darby asks MJF if anything he has done in his life has made him happy, then brings up how six years ago, MJF said that his problems would wash away when he made it to national television. He says that nothing changed for MJF, and that when he himself chased national television, he had to go to therapy, and he went from worrying about his own mental health to giving back to him family. He tells MJF that this is just "a fifteen-minute ride." Darby says he is not like MJF and that he will not lower his morals to be somebody in this world, then dares MJF to keep talking. MJF calls Darby "an arrogant little boy" for thinking he is special and that he does not have to go through what others have had to go through, and says he is sick and tired of him and others whining about morals, "as morals kill careers in this sport." He says that Darby stands as a daredevil when he is really a gutless coward, as he does not have the guts to sacrifice what must be sacrificed. MJF says he is aware that he may not go to Heaven on his deathbed, and that all that matters is if the "Triple B" goes with him. He also says he is willing to do what it takes to leave a legacy in professional wrestling as the greatest of all time, while Darby's legacy will be as "Sting's bitch." Suddenly, Sting shows up. He heads to the ring and says that the talk of has late somewhat offends him and sees himself more of a cheerleader than a "daddy daycare" guy as he pulls out a pom pom and hits MJF with it, then says he has a fever and that the only cue is more pom poms, which he produces out of his jacket and throws at MJF. He then says that he will stop now with the pom poms if MJF stops with the "daddy daycare crap," then mentions how "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes was a support system for MJF much like he is for Darby and how "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair was a support system for him. From there, he evolved, and became part of the nWo Wolfpac - and gives a tribute to Kevin Nash and Scott Hall - and says there is a little bit of The Joker left in him as well as a thirst for the world title. He admits that "showtime is almost over" for him, but it is just beginning for Darby, and promises MJF that Darby will become AEW's world heavyweight champion. Darby says "this plastic world" has not taken him alive, and that he will leave the man who ended MJF's reign of terror to become AEW World Champion. MJF spits in Darby's face and rolls out of the ring.
Powerhouse Hobbs quickly retains the TNT Championship against "The Last Real Man" Silas Young. After the match, QT Marshall and Powerhouse Hobbs drag Silas Young up the ramp when Wardlow shows up on the video screen and vandalizes Powerhouse Hobbs' new car with a metal rod. He then smashes the window with a gold stander, then eyes a forklift. Wardlow gets in the forklift and puts the prongs of the forklift through the passenger side window, then lifts the car from underneath and tips it onto its roof. As Hobbs is about to powerbomb Silas Young through a table, Wardlow shows up and brawls with Hobbs on the ramp. The locker room empties to stop the brawl, but they are overpowered, and officials and referees have to step in. Aaron Solo, who gets on top of Wardlow during all of this, gets thrown down onto the ramp by Wardlow, and Wardlow ends up putting him through the table with a powerbomb.
We hear from "Switchblade" Jay White and "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson. Jay White says they are Bullet Club high rollers, and Juice warns "Absolute" Ricky Starks that they are just getting started with him. Jay White says this is just the beginning and that this will be Bullet Club's greatest era ever as they are "Bullet Club Gold."
Orange Cassidy retains the AEW International Championship against Buddy Matthews with the Mouse Trap despite his right hand being injured during the match. During the match, it is announced that this week's Rampage will air immediately following this Friday's NBA coverage on TNT. After the match, Orange Cassidy has to be helped to the back by Dr. Samson.
We see a vignette for Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. Christian says "Some things have changed."
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta). Trent Beretta says Orange Cassidy's hand is fine as he is on the championship run of his life and making the locker room jealous. Chuck Taylor then challenges Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) to a match against Best Friends on Rampage.
"All Ego" Ethan Page is in the ring. He admits that The Firm has had a bit of a rough patch after what Matt Hardy and Hook have done, then says he still looks better than the fans despite not being able to get anything done. He then demands answers from Matt Hardy, wanting to know what was in the contract for his match with Hook. Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy show up, and Isiah says Ethan played himself while Matt Hardy calls Ethan "the biggest hole of the ass" he has ever seen in his life. He then mentions that he put something in the match contract where if Hook won, he and Kassidy would be free from The Firm, then says that they get to pick the opponent their next match and the stipulation, with the stipulation that if he and Kassidy win, they will soon be freed from him and Stokely Hathaway. Ethan says there is just him and Stokely in The Firm before Big Bill and Lee Moriarty attack Matt and Kassidy. Suddenly, Hook shows up. Hook fights Big Bill and Lee Moriarty, but Ethan Page joins in on the attack to even the numbers. All of a sudden, Jeff Hardy - who has not been seen in months following his recent legal problems and personal demons - shows up and attacks The Firm with a chair.
We hear from Kenny Omega, who thanks AEW for giving him the time to speak to the fans, thanks the fans for their support, and thanks the doctors for tending to The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) well. He says that The Elite will take care of their problems with The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson) in the ring, and warns them that attacking Don Callis and splitting his skull open made this personal, as Callis is still family despite being a less than likeable man. He says that The Blackpool Combat Club have crossed a line, but instead of being blood for blood, it will be much worse when he sees them again.
The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoil and Jon Moxley) beat a bloodied and battered Brandon Cutler and Michael Nakazara (no longer going by the name of MT Nakazawa) by referee stoppage. After the match, Wheeler Yuta beats up Brandon Cutler, then Jon Moxley says that The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) and Don Callis are still at the hospital with glass bodies and egos while The Blackpool Combat Club are the real elite of All Elite Wrestling. Kenny Omega suddenly shows up, and The Young Bucks managed to get behind Claudio and Yuta before they and Omega beat up Moxley and hit him with the BTE-Trigger. Omega then pulls a gear case out from underneath the ring, and Matt Jackson stops him to produce a screwdriver, which Omega takes. Claudio has to save Moxley and escape with him and Yuta before Omega can stab Moxley with the screwdriver.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews The Mogul Embassy (Prince Nana, "The Machine" Brian Cage, Swerve Strickland). Prince Nana tells Darby Allin that he did everything Swerve Strickland has taught him to do, then Swerve says his number of rivalries in AEW is growing day by day and that he still has some scores to settle.
The Outcasts (Ruby Soho and Toni Storm) beat Riho and Skye Blue. After the match, Saraya joins Toni and Ruby in attacking Riho and Skye Blue, and Riho gets an "L" spray painted on her before the three of them simultaneously powerbomb her. Jamie Hayter runs into the ring, but she is immediately overpowered. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. runs into the ring and takes out Toni and Ruby on the way there before brawling with Saraya. Britt then goes for the curb stomp, but Toni and Ruby pull Saraya out of the ring.
Chris Jericho beats Keith Lee after Daniel Garcia gets in the ring and distracts the referee, allowing a masked Swerve Strickland to hit Keith Lee in the head with a foreign object. After the match, Adam Cole shows up and says something to Keith Lee before fistbumping him, then accompanies him to the back while ignoring Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia.
Cameron Grimes retains the NXT North American Championship against Solo Sikoa after Sikoa has to fight off Trick Williams on the outside. After the match, Grimes is attacked from behind by Carmelo Hayes. Sikoa punhces Hayes, but Trick gets back in the ring and goes back on the attack alongside Carmelo and the two of them lay out Grimes.
We hear from Grayson Waller and Sanga. Waller says that tonight's gauntlet match should not be happening and that the NXT tag titles should have been handed to them. He says that a "pissed" Sanga is going to tear through the other teams while he watches. (MSK - Nash Carter and Wes Lee - have been stripped of the titles and Carter released following allegations of abuse from Carter's wife Kimber Lee, as well as the release of a photo of Carter with a Adolf Hitler-style mustache performing a "sieg heil" salute.)
We hear from Malcolm Bivens, who says that The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) will beat Pretty Deadly's (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) asses. Brutus Creed says they will kill two birds with one stone when they beat them and take the NXT tag titles, and Julius Creed says they have proven they are the best. We then see Bivens and The Creed Brothers draw their number from a tumbler, and the three of them are happy with the number they have drawn.
Bron Breakker heads to the ring. Breakker says Joe Gacy wanted to send him a message and got his attention by kidnapping his father Rick Steiner. He says his father is safe and sound at home, but nobody messes with his family. He says that his father gave twenty years to the wrestling business, then dares Joe Gacy to get in the ring so they can see who the real tough guy is when Gacy is standing in front of him. Joe Gacy shows up on the TitanTron. He says he cannot be there tonight and that by getting to know Rick Steiner, he got to know Breakker better. He then produces Rick's Hall of Fame ring, which he says represents Rick's sacrifices.
Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interview Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) in the Toxic Lounge. Mandy Rose says they called their shot last week and Jacy and Gigi are tag team champs again, and that Dakota Kai has no chance of beating her for the women's title. She says that Toxic Attraction is the measuring stick that no one can reach.
Von Wagner attacks Jacket Time (KUSHIDA and Ikemen Jiro) backstage, and Robert Stone says "It looks like there's no match tonight."
In backstage moments from moments ago, Bron Breakker angrily leaves the arena and declines an interview.
Robert Stone and Von Wagner are in the ring. Stone says Jacket Time are out of time and that the fans will never see them again after what Wagner did to them. Suddenly, Ikemen Jiro shows up. An angry Ikemen Jiro drop kicks Von Wagner out of the ring and chases Robert Stone out, then Ikemen Jiro says he is pissed and wants to kick Von Wagner's ass right now.
Von Wagner beats Ikemen Jiro. After the match, the mystery woman shows up in the stands and points at the ring. At her behest and not Robert Stone's, Von Wagner throws Ikemen Jiro over the barricade and into the first row.
Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Nikkita Lyons. Nikkita says Lash Legend does a lot of trash talking and is very athletic, but she only has herself to prove things to. She is then suddenly pump kicked out of her chair by Lash Legend.
We see a vignette for Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince).
Backstage, Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) draw a number from a tumbler. They enjoy the number that they have drawn.
Mandy Rose retains the NXT Women's Championship against Dakota Kai after the distraction and interference from Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. After the match, Wendy Choo drenches Toxic Attraction with a pair of Super Soakers.
We hear from Joe Gacy, who says that we are a society that lives through social media and emotion and ruled by the court of public emotion and not the court of law. He says the truth is what people believe, not what they know. He says that people do not know what they want until they are given what they need, then says that Bron Breakker is carrying NXT on his back when he is the only one who can lead NXT. He says that Bron Breakker is too emotional and that he can easily control, and while he desires to destroy everything in his life, he plans to hand on to his father Rick Steiner's ring, which he pulls out of the campfire and wears.
Backstage, Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Elektra Lopez, Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza) is met by Tony D'Angelo, who says that they had a little misunderstanding last week, then gives him an envelope in case things do not go his way tonight. Escobar puts the envelope back in D'Angelo's jacket and says respect is worth way more than money.
Cora Jade heads to the ring. She says WrestleMania weekend was the most important weekend of her life, and it was bigger than she could have ever imagined and her parents got to see her perform. Cora says she held her own against three talented women in the ring, and while she came up short, she now knows she needs - not wants - to become Women's Champion, as she wanted to be a champion since she was a kid. She says that she has always meant that and that she will work to become a champion and be like the women that she looked up to. Suddenly, Natalya shows up. Natalya thanks the fans for their support and says the Performance Center brings back so many memories, then says it is good to finally meet Cora Jade, who is a big fan of her. She says that she remembers Cora Jade from a house show from Hammond, Indiana in 2011 and pointing at her in the crowd, then says she pointed at the right girl in the crowd and can tell she has passion for the business. Natalya says she has mentored, trained and competed against some of the greatest female Superstars in WWE history, and when she looks at the landscape of the women's division, she sees Cora Jade as the future of that division. She then says the future is bleak before slapping Cora Jade in the face and putting her in the Sharpshooter, making Cora Jade tap out as referees try to stop Natalya.
Backstage, Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen are fired up for the tag team title gauntlet match.
We see a vignette for Nathan Frazer, who says he has a one-way ticket to America to show what he is all about in NXT.

Backstage, Natalya walks through the women's locker room. Tatum Paxley challenges her to a match to prove herself to Diamond Mine, and Natalya accepts before telling the rest of the locker room they are on notice.
Backstage, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta realize that if Dexter Lumis and Duke Hudson were in tonight's tag team title gauntlet, they would win the whole thing. After some coaxing, both men reluctantly agree to team up.
Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) beat Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza - the latter of whom has been name-changed to Cruz del Toro), the team of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, the team of Grayson Waller and Sanga and The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) to become the NXT Tag Team Champions!

We hear from Rohit Raju, who says that he has been impressed with AEW as he saw a star everywhere he went, then says he is not a star that burns bright, fades away and turns into dust, but "the star," and everything should revolve around him. He says that he will bring a little bit of light to dark starting with "The Captain" Shawn Dean, who is standing in the way of a win, fame and respect.

We see a video package of Adam Cole vs. "Hangman" Adam Page for the AEW World Championship.
Emi Sakura beats Charlette Renegade with a La Magistral Cradle.
At Manor Marmiz, Mike does a radio interview on the phone. Unfortunately, he cannot find a quiet spot in the house to conduct it despite the house being big, and he has to lock himself in a dollhouse.
Mike and George try to get the sprinkler system working, but unfortunately, the water sprays into their faces when they miss a piece.
Maryse lets in an interior designer for the final touches to their house. One of the workers finds a secret room that Mike did not even know about, and considers his quiet problem solved.
Maryse comes back home from working with Volition for her skin care line. Mike has an idea for a PR package, and when she opens it, gold glittler explodes from the box and lands all over Maryse's face, much to Maryse's displeasure.
John Morrison shows up, and he and Mike try to come up with a commercial for Maryse's skin care line.
At Manor Marmiz, the chandelier is down because the motor for it broke. Maryse leaves for work, then Mike transforms the secret room into "The Mizcave." He puts the drum kit into the room, but he can be heard from outside the secret room. Marjo calls Maryse, thinking the house is either haunted or that there is an intruder, and alters George before alerting Maryse. Mike, knowing he has just gotten busted, lies.
Mike and John Morrison show off the commercial they have made for Maryse. Maryse appreciates the effort, but says she has her own ideas when she talks to Mike in private.
As Maryse does a photo-shoot, Mike heads up to the Mizcave. During the photo-shoot, the sprinkler system goes off as Maryse tries to call Miz only to find out that he is in the secret room due to hearing a cellphone in the wall. Maryse is angry at Miz for hiding the room from her as well as for not changing the timer on the sprinkler system.
Maryse does another photshoot inside the house.
Mike tears down "The Mizcave." Maryse is unhappy that Mike did not tell her about it, but tells her to keep everything in the Mizcave, also telling not to feel bad because everyone in the house wants tsome alone time. She also gives him a present: a poster of Maryse in a lifeguard's one-piece swimsuit.
Maryse meets with the Volition executive virtually, and Mike watches. The meeting goes well, and Mike can see that Maryse has her own vision in mind for the product. Maryse asks Miz to ask her if she needs help first next time. Afterwards, Mike and Maryse head to the Mizcave.
Bonus clip: Miz and Morrison record a scene for their commercial at Miz's bathtub.
Adnan Virk debuts on commentary. (He will only be in the position for seven weeks before leaving WWE.)
In backstage footage from earlier today, Matt Riddle congratulates Bobby Lashley on winning at WrestleMania before challenging him to a match, but Lashley says he is here to celebrate his win tonight and nothing more. Riddle starts quoting some things that Lashley has said in the recent past, and that leads Lashley to ram Riddle's head into the scooter and tell him that there are winners and losers and that he will show him the difference tonight.
Bobby Lashley beats Matt Riddle with the Hurt Lock.
Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Rhea Ripley, who says it is all about being confident in herself and that it was her self-confidence that allowed her to challenge Asuka and beat her to become WWE Raw Women's Champion. She says that the fans saw "the brutal new order of the women's division" last night, and tonight, she will prove she is once again ready for Asuka.
The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) beat Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. (The match is Ivar's first since September after coming back from surgery for a neck injury. Also, in a sign of things to come, Adnan Virk calls The Viking Raiders "The Viking Express.")
Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Asuka, who says that Rhea Ripley brought a fight last night, but tonight is her turn. She says facing Rhea Ripley was a nightmare, but she is ready for her and she will become champion once again.
Charlotte Flair heads to the ring. Charlotte says she would usually be here with a smile, but she was not welcomed to WrestleMania. She says she is a franchise player and that what she does is sacred to her family, and that it was because of things beyond control that caused her to not be there. She talks about being Asuka's tag team partner, her father Ric Flair acting like a fool and Lacey Evans getting pregnant before saying none of these things were her fault. She also says Asuka did not respond to her challenge, and also mentions Rhea Ripley's win last night. She gives credit where credit is due to Rhea Ripley before calling her "the biggest snake in the locker room," and says that Asuka manipulated her way into a championship rematch before saying that "karma is a bitch" and that she is "that bitch." She also mentions the rest of the women's division by name, saying nobody compares to her, and says she does not steal opportunities because she is the opportunity. Backstage, Nia Jax and "The Queen of Spades'" Shayna Baszler make fun of Mandy Rose slipping on the ramp at WrestleMania, then Mandy Rose shows up and Baszler leaves. She says she can laugh at herself, and says it is funny how things can be when one doesn't see them coming before slapping Nia. Dana Brooke appears, then she and Mandy Rose ram Nia Jax into a nearby wall.
It's time for Alexa's Playground. Alexa Bliss says that once upon a time, there was a girl who was lost until she was found by the darkness, which protected and nurtured her and taught her everything it knew. She then says that the darkness went away, and wonders if this is the point that the little girl never needed the darkness after all and realized she could do everything on her own. She asks if the darkness helped her or stood in her way, and asks why she would use what she taught to destroy the darkness. She then asks if the female of the species of the deadliest, then says she unlocked something truly evil. We then see Alexa's new friend Lilly - a bizarre doll with pigtails - and says that their fun is just getting started. We then see the doll bite towards the camera.
The Miz, Maryse and John Morrison show up for tonight's edition of Miz TV, where Maryse is tonight's special guest. Maryse announces that after tonight's show, Miz and Mrs. premieres a brand new episode. Morrison proposes a spin-off show with him in it, but Miz says he is in tonight's episode, where the two of them make a commercial for Maryse's new skin care line. Miz and Morrison give credit where credit is due to Bad Bunny, and Miz then tries to take credit for everything and says it would not have been possible without his tutelage before we see some stills of their match with Bad Bunny and Damian Priest. Suddenly, Damian Priest shows up and says Bad Bunny trained day and night and put in the work, and says that Miz is now trying to save face. Miz says Damian is only here because he is jealousMiz says Damian is only here because he is jealous, and says that if Damian wants his star power to rub off on him, they can go at it in the ring. Morrison says he wanted to do the same thing, and as he and Miz argue, Maryse says they can both fight him. Damian Priest says he is fine with beating them in a two-on-handicap match, then heads to the ring.
The Miz and John Morrison beat Damian Priest after Maryse distracts Damian Priest and helps Miz keep his feet on the rope for leverage during a schoolkid pin.
Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Nia Jax and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler. Nia says that the footage of the attack on her was done to embarass her, and after the beating they will give to Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke tonight, nobody will be talking about Mandy or Dana.
Nia Jax and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler beat Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke by count-out. Nia Jax trips on the bottom rope while entering the ring before the match. Later on, Nia Jax slips on the apron while getting back in the ring, and Mandy and Dana retreat, wanting nothing to do with an absolutely furious Nia Jax.
MVP is in the ring. He says that at WrestleMania, Bobby Lashley retained the WWE Championship, and that today, he wanted to celebrate that win. He then says Lashley was disrespected so much today that he wanted to leave the arena. MVP says that Drew McIntyre tried but came up short, and that it is okay for him to be number two while Lashley is number one, and says it was only going to be a matter of time before Lashley put the Hurt Lock on him. MVP says that McIntyre cannot lift his head up from the pain of the Hurt Lock, and says nobody can withstand the Hurt Lock. Suddenly, McIntyre shows up looking unaffected and asks MPV how he would know how he felt. He said that he knew WrestleMania would come down to who would make the first mistake, and says that he has no excuses and that MVP is right about the Hurt Lock. He says that nobody can humble a man like him and tells MVP to keep inflating his ego, as he wants Lashley on the biggest pedestal he can be on when he gets his rematch, and when he hits the Claymore, he wants Lashley to fall as far as possible when he becomes champion. MVP tells McIntyre he respects him, and McIntyre tells him to pick his next words carefully. MVP tells him that nothing is given and that everything must be earned, then Braun Strowman suddenly shows up. Strowman says he agrees with MVP and tells McIntyre to go to the back of the line while he walks to the front of it. Suddenly, Randy Orton shows up. Orton says The Fiend and Alexa Bliss are finished, which means that there are no more mind games and that he can be "The Viper" and "The Legend Killer" in addition to being WWE Champion once again. Adam Pearce then shows up and says everyone is making excellent points, and says that Orton, McIntyre and Strowman will be in a Triple Threat Match tonight where the winner faces Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre is met by Braun Strowman. Strowman says that he knows that McIntyre wants a re-match with Bobby Lashley, then tells McIntyre that he is in the way of opportunity and that a "monster-sized ass whuppin'" is coming his way.
Elias and Jaxson Ryker are in the ring. Elias says that Shane McMahon should get the respect he deserves for his valiant effort against Braun Strowman at WrestleMania, then dedicates his next song to Shane. As he is about to play, somebody plays a trombone, and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) show up. Kofi says that Elias should be apologizing to the tag team division for disgracing it after Braun Strowman beat them both up, then proceed to shame them. Elias reminds them that they lost the Raw tag team titles after Omos tossed them around, but Woods says they have a failure to communicate and Kofi will bring honor back to the tag team division by showing Elias and Ryker what a real tag team looks like.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) beats Elias and Jaxson Ryker.
Backstage, Randy Orton says that for the past six months, he has been distracted by The Fiend and Alexa Bliss, but that came to an end at WrestleMania, and now he is able to focus on what matters: the WWE Championship. He says he has to go through both Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman tonight, but he only has to strike once with the RKO.
It's time for Firefly Fun House. Bray Wyatt shows up for the first time in months, and Abbey shows her absolute hatred for Alexa Bliss. When Ramblin' Rabbit says it will be lonely without Alexa, Bray grabs him before kissing him and throwing him away. Bray Wyatt says he feels great and feels "re-born" like there could be "a brand new start," "a brand new season," and "a brand new" him, and says everything will be fine because "he will return" and that the Firefly Fun House will be big, bad and strong.
Drew McIntyre beats Randy Orton and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match to face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash after Randy Orton his the RKO on Braun Strowman only to eat a Claymore Kick from Drew McIntyre on the pinfall. After the match, MVP shows up, and McIntyre is suddenly attacked from behind by Mace and T-Bar.

Preston "10" Vance beats Zack Clayton with the Full Nelson. Before the match, Clayton demands he be called "MTV's Jersey Shore's #1 Star." At one point in the match, -1 hits Clayton with a forearm shot from the outside when the refere is not looking and Clayton is distracted by -1.
Miro beats Hayden Backlund with Game Over.
Hikaru Shida and Tay Conti beat Katalina Perez and Leila Grey.
TheHybrid2 (Angelico and Jack Evans) beat Carlie Bravo and Dean Alexander with the Navarro Death Roll from Jack Evans to Dean Alexander.
Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews Thunder Rosa. Thunder Rosa says she has a huge target on her back because she is the best in the world, and that she trains hard, coaches, and fights for what she wants. She also tells Diamante she is ready whenever Diamante is.
Orange Cassidy beats John Skyler.
We hear from Shawn Dean, who say. He talks about how he joined the Navy right after high school and the September 11th attacks and developed into the man he is today, joined a college football team as a walk-on, moved on to professional arena football, then moved on to being a professional wrestler. It wasn't until he found a wrestling school and moved to Georgia that things started coming together until the pandemic hit. From there, he came to AEW (which got him fired from his job) and was eventually signed a week later.

We hear from "All Ego" Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky. Page is not happy that "The Bad Boy" Joey Janela got a TNT title shot against Darby Allin with a less-than-flattering record, and Scorpio Sky mentions that Sonny Kiss got a shot at the TNT title against Cody with a less-than-flattering record. Page says that he and Scorpio have winning records, but they are not being rewarded for it, and they are going to take anything and everything in AEW, and tonight, they will have their arms raised in victory.
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. beats Skye Blue. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Britt, wh says she will play by the rules and maker her way to the top, and that she had better see an update in the rankings on Wednesday.

Mike Sydal beats MT Nakazawa when Nakazawa's attempt at hitting him with his laptop fails. After the match, Nakazawa hits him with the laptop, but Nakazawa runs away when Matt Sydal turns around.
We hear from Death Triangle (PAC and Rey Fenix). PAC tells The Young Bucks that tonight is a taste that is what to come, and that they are starved of opportunity. He says that they will heabutt the Bucks' faces flat and walk away as tag team champions.
"Legit" Leyla Hirsch beats Shanna with a cross arm breaker.
Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Konosuke Takeshita, but is interrupted by Kenny Omega, who is disgusted by Marvez's pronunciation of Takeshita's name. Omega tells Takeshita through MT Nakazawa's translation that he is doing some scouting, and says that after DDT made him famous, he wants him to return the favor by helping him teach Matt and Mike Sydal a lesson after being a thorn in his side. Takeshita agrees, but finds out from Omega that he is teaming with Nakazawa, not with him, and that it will be happening next week.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Madison Rayne. She admits a loss to Jordynne Grace wasn't what she expected, but she is not letting it get to here as she plans to become a champion again. Tessa Blanchard shows up and says Madison is trying to relive her glory days like Gail Kim, but Madison reminds Tessa she's beaten her twice and if she feels the third time is a charm, she can meet her in the ring. Tessa says "Bring it on."
Su Yung beats Rosemary by count-out after Kiera Hogan shows up to help Rosemary fight off Su Yung's undead bridesmaids only for her and Rosemary to argue with one another. After the match, the bridesmaids get a hold of both of them, and Su Yung hits both Rosemary and Kiera with the Panic Switch.

After the match, Tessa Blanchard blames her loss on Don Callis and Josh Mathews, saying she knows they were in on it.
Backstage, Eli Drake and Eddie Edwards ask The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix) for a tag team title match. All of a sudden, The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) attack The Lucha Bros., and security has to hold them back.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Johnny Mundo and Taya Valkyrie. Johnny admits that "The Machine" Brian Cage is good, but that someone as dumb as he is comes once in a millennium. Johnny says Jordynne Grace is just as dumb, but Taya says they must do everything together and could make for a cute couple.
We hear from Sami Callihan, who says that he tried to give Rich Swann the family he never had, but soon, Swann will have nothing at Rebellion when he takes the X Division title before beating him within an inch of his life.
Backstage, Tessa Blanchard says Gail Kim could not help herself and made it personal between them. She says if Gail wants to do that, she can make it personal, too.
Backstage, Fallah Bahh finds "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux and thanks her for last week, and Bordeaux tells Fallah that she has his back next week against The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Raj Singh).
