FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) head to the ring. He had hopes that Dax would be wrong, but it became clear to him that Copeland only cared for himself and held FTR back to raise up his own career. He says that when Copeland was down on the mat, he had to be the one to do it. He says that he is not the helpless kid that Copeland once saw him as and that Copeland disrespected him as a man, and that anyone who disrespects him will have to pay. Cash says FTR are grown men and will be treated as such. Dax says that last week, he saw a sign in the crowd that said "Why FTR Why," then says "Why not?" He says the fans should be thanking them, as they gave Copeland everything he wanted, as he begged for relevancy at FTR's expense and FTR gave it to him. He says that regardless of what the fans thing, what FTR did was right, and while they do not owe anyone an explanation, he will have fun with this. Dax says FTR was irrelevant for four months so that Copeland could win one more world title and prove he is still the man. He says Copeland is "too damn selfish," especially after FTR has won ten tag titles in seven worldwide companies, then says there are fans and people in the locker room are not happy with, and asks Tony Schiavone to come to the ring. Nigel McGuinness tries to talk Tony Schiavone out of this, but Tony heads to the ring anyway. He tells FTR that they were wrong, and after they brought tag team wrestling back, they turned on Copeland. He also says that he mentioned Dax's daughter being affected by all this. This leads to FTR attacking Tony. Nigel stands up, takes off his headset and heads to the ring before they can do the spike piledriver, and tells him to get out. Daniel Garcia runs into the ring, and Dax shoves him. Nigel gets Tony out of the ring, and FTR help Garcia up before hugging him and leaving. Garcia checks on Schiavone.
We hear from "Timeless" Toni Storm, who says that while Megan Bayne is a monster, the tramp is still the champ. She wishes everyone in the women's Owen Hart Tournament good luck before mocking everyone in it (and praising Kris Statlander).
Jamie Hayter beats Billie Starkz to advance in the women's Owen Hart Tournament. During the match, it is announced that next week's Collision will air on Thursday at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central due to the NBA playoffs.
We hear from The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir). Claudio says they expected casualties, but they do not mourn them, for only in death does duty end. He says they are still front and center and that they will accept The Opps' (Samoa Joe, Hook, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata) challenge. Claudio says this will be a lesson for "play wrestlers" who do not want to come to work, and that what matters is in the front line. He says that this will be Hook's biggest match ever, but reminds him that chicks dig scars.
Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) beat two unidenfitied opponents. (The opponents in question are Smash and Burn [Juni Underwood and Ricky Pryce].)
Backstage, Lexy Nair tries to get an interview with FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) when "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker confront them. Parker says they can see through FTR's "bullshit" and will not let them pull the wool over Daniel Garcia's eyes. Menard says they will not sit back and let this happen. Dax Harwood accepts their challenge for tonight, and that Daniel Garcia will be at ringside.
Anthony Bowens beats Blake Christian after Billy Gunn helps take out "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson on the outside. After the match, Bowens says this has been a long time coming and that it is time to level up, as he is AEW's "five-tool player" and "the pride of professional wrestler." He says he does not need a trademark to say he is the best because he will prove it every week. He then asks who will be the next to step up and get Mollywhopped by the Five Tool Player.
Megan Bayne beats LMK and Kelly Madan in a two-on-one handicap match.
AR Fox beats "The Jet" Kevin Knight.
Backstage, we hear from Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Kaun says they are back, and that they do mind behind hurt. He then challenges The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) to a tag team match on Dynamite.
Daniel Garcia shows up to watch the next match from ringside.
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard following two spike piledrivers on a bloodied Daddy Magic. After the match, Daniel Garcia - who confronted FTR for the two spike piledrivers and the attempt at a third one - confronts FTR again. FTR leaves as Garcia checks on Daddy Magic, then return and attack Garcia before hitting him with a spike piledriver. Security and referees show up before FTR can hit a second one, and referee Mikey Posey gets shoved before FTR go for the move again. Suddenly, Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) rush in and force FTR to retreat.
Athena beats Harley Cameron to advance in the women's Owen hart Tournament.
We hear from Mercedes Moné, who says that she will be in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, where she made her debut and had the biggest dream of holding all the gold. She calls Athena a speed bump on her track to success, and while she is the best, she is competing against her, and at Dynamite, she will show why money changes everything and why the best woman and the one who wins is her.
"The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita beats Brody King to advance in the men's Owen Hart Tournament.
Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
