Let's Go! - LFG recap for April 6, 2025

We find out that Dani Sekelsky is not medically cleared for this week and that Troy Yearwood is sick for this week. Meanwhile, Bubba Ray Dudley is happy that his team has scored their first point while also taking baby steps forward. Booker T issues a challenge of a push-up contest to Chris Island, but Island outlasts him after 48 push-ups.

Shawn Michaels meets with the Legends and Future Greats. He asks the Legends who their front runners are if this were to all end this week. Bubba Ray picks Zena, Booker T picks Jasper Troy, Mickie James picks Chris Island, and The Undertaker says he is "still open." Tyra Mae admits that she picked The Undertaker as her coach for his honesty. Shawn Michaels then announces that this week's challenge is all about signature maneuvers, and that this week's guest Diamond Dallas Page. DDP credits having the Diamond Cutter - a signature move that he could do to anybody at any time - for bringing his career to the next level quickly despite starting out in wrestling later in life. DDP then says that whoever has the best signature move will win this week's challenge, and that he wants to see their best and that he wants to see their passion, stating that he will be watching his face and eyes as much as their bodies.

Afterwards, the Future Greats work on signature moves. Sirena wants another match to make up for how she came up short on her last one. Some of them come up with something, while others work at it. Cutler James comes up with the "Uppercutler." Chris Island brings up his idea for a finisher: "KJP," also known as "Kal Jak's Promise," named after Kal Jak, who was in developmental for two years until suffering a shoulder injury that ended his time there and was also instrumental in introducing Chris Island to professional wrestling, and wants to do his finishing move as his signature. Meanwhile, Sirena gets permission from Molly Holly to do the Molly-Go-Round, but Molly wants to see how Sirena good is at the top rope first. She ends up being able to pull off the move in practice. Bayley Humphrey builds on her head vice by turning it into a slam for a signature move. Elijah Holyfield comes up with a signature punch. Zena wants to do a tilt-a-whirl side slam, but cannot do it safely with Tatyanna. Bubba Ray wants Zena to try it with the lightest girl, who is Dani, but Dani is not medically cleared this week, which causes Bubba to say "You're useless." Chris Island comes to Dani's defense for this, which causes an argument between the two. Bully says Zena gets his sense of humor, but Chris Island does not. Mickie James says that Chris Island did just fine and knew where he was coming from.

Bubba Ray picks Zena and Cutler for their finishers. Mickie James picks Chris Island and Sirena by default, as they are the only ones who are cleared. The Undertaker picks Elijah and Bayley Humphrey. Booker T takes Leigh Laurel and Anthony Luke.

Anthony Luke beats Cutler James after hitting his "Lights Camera Action" signature after getting his foot on the rope when Cutler hits the "Uppercutler." Booker T says Anthony Luke delivered, while Bubba Ray compliments Cutler on putting flavor on the front and back end of a European uppercut. Diamond Dallas Page loved that Anthony's finisher came out of nowhere.

Zena Sterling beats Leigh Laurel with the tilt-a-whirl side slam, which she calls "The Watchamacallit." Bubba Ray was impressed with both women, and says Zena passed with flying colors for protecting her opponent while performing her signature move. Booker T and Bubba Ray love Leigh's gear, but Booker T wants Leigh to shift gears and The Undertaker says she needs an energy to match her look. Leigh looks like she is about to break down emotionally after that, and Mickie James asks her if she is okay, and Leigh admits she had the wind knocked out of her. Diamond Dallas Page says that embarrassment is the cost of entry and and to take the positive criticism to the next level while not getting into her head with the negative, and to go outside of one's box.

Chris Island beats Elijah Holyfield with the KJP. Mickie James says both men had their best today. The Undertaker and Bubba Ray do not like the necklace and earrings that Elijah wore, and consider them a distraction. Bubba Ray also takes offense to the argument that he and Chris Island had earlier today, and tells him to watch his mouth unless he wants a target on his chest and wants him gunning for him, but also tells Chris Island that he had his best in-ring performance in the competition to date. DDP says that Chris Island brought it.

Bayley Humphrey beats Sirena Linton. Mickie James says she loved the match and that she is proud. The Undertaker says they did well for Bayley's third match and Sirena's second match, and that he is proud of both of them, and Diamond Dallas Page feels much the same way. Bubba Ray says that there was "a tale of two matches" in their match with the front two minutes and the back two minutes, and that "all they remember is the finish." He says that everything was "to the moon" after Sirena hit the Molly-Go-Round, and Sirena gets kudos from Bully Ray after being so hard on herself. Molly Holly tells Sirena that she is proud of her.

The points are given. Booker T is impressed with Anthony Luke for putting three moves together for a great signature. Mickie James gives kudos to Sirena for asking for Molly Holly's blessing for the Molly-Go-Round and proving she could do the move. The Undertaker says Elijah was able to pull off the task and that everyone did well. Bubba Ray says that Chris Island, Elijah, Cutler James and Anthony Luke stepped forward today. Diamond Dallas Page says he was blown away by everyone today, especially given everyone's experience, but Anthony Luke caught him off guard with "Lights Camera Action." He also gives the nod to Sirena for hitting the Molly-Go-Round. Team Undertaker and Team Booker are tied at five points each, Team Mickie James are at two points, and Team Bubba Ray is still at one point.
