Let's Go! - LFG recap for April 13, 2025

D-Von Dudley meets with Bubba Ray Dudley at the Performance Center entrance. Bubba says that the Future Greats need to learn the art of tag team wrestling, and that he needs D-Von to drive the point home.

Shawn Michaels meets with the Legends and Future Greats, with tag team wrestling being the challenge for the week. Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley are announced as the coaches for the week. Bubba Ray gets in Booker T's face as he and D-Von talk about their 24 world tag team title reigns (with Booker saying ECW's tag titles were regional), and Bubba Ray says that while they were not the strongest or the prettiest, they had the chemistry and a great tag team finish. Bubba Ray and D-Von want to see chemistry and the ability to work together, and want the teams to work on something that they cannot forget. Penina and Leigh Laurel will face Sirena and Dani; Zena and Tatyanna will face Tyra Mae and Bayley Humprey; Drake Morreaux and Cutler James will face Troy Yearwood and Chris Island; Shiloh Hill and Elijah Holyfield will face Jasper Troy and Anthony Luke. D-Von will give one point to the best male team and one point to the best female tag team. Shawn demands that Bubba Ray be nonbiased.

Cutler James and Drake Morreaux are working on a tag team finisher when BJ shows up and says that he is medically cleared, and Cutler tells BJ to shut up and that "there's the door," Bubba Ray asks Cutler James what would happen if he had to team with BJ, and Cutler James says he would have to do it. Bubba Ray says the tiff between Cutler and BJ concerns him more than BJ, and that Cutler has to coexist with and work together with people and be professional. He has Cutler and BJ work together in an attempt to make Cutler act like more of a professional, and apologizes to Morreaux. Cutler thinks that this is a game for Bubba Ray and that Bubba Ray likes tension.

The Legends and Future Greats are working on tag team moves. Troy Yearwood and Chris Island work on a double kip-up into a double elbow drop, which Bubba Ray is impressed with. Meanwhile, Cutler James and BJ are monstly on the same page.

Chris Island and Troy Yearwood beat BJ Ray and Cutler James. During the match, BJ gets into business for himself, and Bubba Ray thinks that something is not right. Mickie James gets suspicious when BJ refuses to tag in Cutler James, and Cutler James finally has enough. This distracts Chris Island, and BJ gets the win with a schoolkid pin on Island. After the match, Cutler is angry, and Bubba Ray confronts BJ, telling him to walk out through the back door right now. Bubba Ray, D-Von and Mickie James confront BJ for going into business for himself, and it becomes obvious that BJ only cares about himself. Bubba tells BJ that he put everyone , and BJ says he did not think about it before saying he only cared about entertaining the fans. Bully is the most enraged out of everyone. Afterwards, Bubba Ray apologizes to Troy Yearwood and Chris Island. BJ says Cutler James has an ego and a tough guy act, and that he made Cutler "rage quit the match" and exposed him. Cutler says he will not work with BJ again, and if BJ wants to go into business for himself, then so be it.

Before the next match, Dani looks back to getting back into the ring, and while she has nerves stepping back in, she is medically cleared. Sirena feels she has confidence in herself despite the pressure she is under. Mickie comes up with a sequence for a tag. Penina wants to be sure that everyone's personality shows in the match. Booker T tells Penina and Leigh that they cannot have any air in between when it comes to their double-team maneuver.

Leigh Laurel and Penina Tuilalepa beat Sirena Linton and Dani Sekelsky. After the match, Mickie James felt the match fell more on Penina and Leigh, and Booker T sasys that the match felt "overthought." Leigh says the match was too complicated, and Booker T says the match did not do what was needed for Booker T to score a point.

The Undertaker goes over a referee spot for the next match. Jasper Troy feels like he is seeing a lot of emotion from The Undertaker as he explains what is going on. As everything is being practiced, The Undertaker asks everyone to worry about the storyline aspect of everything. Jasper Troy has the feeling that everything needs to be perfect for this to go well, and Anthony Luke says that his team cannot afford to lose any opportunity for more points.

Elijah Holyfield and Shiloh Hill beat Anthony Luke and Jasper Troy after Jasper inadvertently hits Luke with a splash. After the match, The Undertaker and Booker T are proud of their respective teams, and The Undertaker says that this is the first time in the competition where he saw everyone in the match excel, and calls it the best match of the season.

Before the next match, Bayley hopes to show off a new finishing move that she learned a few days ago. Meanwhile, Tatyanna finds getting ready for the match a bit of a pain and finds Tyra Mae difficult to work with. Zena says Tyra Mae has more experience and that Tatyanna has difficulty expressing her opinion, and that with the amount of time and pressure in setting a match up, sometimes someone with more experience is needed.

Bayley Humphrey and Tyra Mae Steele beat Tatyanna Dumas and Zena Sterling. Bubba Ray and The Undertaker agree that this ladies' tag match was better than the other one. Meanwhile, Tatyanna accuses Tyra Mae of being unsafe, and Tyra Mae says that Tatyanna is one to talk and that she is just trying to help her.

The points are awarded. Shawn Michaels says there was some rough and brutal stuff in the ring this week, and that they turned off the crowd. He wants the Future Greats to have fun, but to him, fun is greatness, winning, and making a lot of money. Sirena says people have become too comfortable, and Shawn says that people have gotten too comfortable and that things need to change. D-Von says that if one does not feel the need to be in the business, one should not be in the business. For the women, he picks Team Bubba Ray, as Tatyanna and Zena were a cohesive unit and showed what it was all about. He picks Team Undertaker for the men's point. Shiloh Hill says he is finally putting things together, and Elijah feels good to contribute to the team and that he needs to show out. Anthony Luke says he is happy for Team Undertaker, but feels he deserved that point, and that Team Booker T needs to be in the lead at the end. At the end, Team Undertaker has six points, Team Booker T has five points, Team Mickie James has three points, and Team Bubba Ray has two points.
