Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for April 30, 2025

Ricochet and The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada) beat Mark Briscoe, Kevin Knight, "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Kenny Omega in an All-Star Eight-Man Tag Match.

Backstage, The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) are met by a few people chanting their them song. The Hurt Syndicate proceed to hurt said people. MVP and Shelton then ask Lashley to trust in MJF, saying that he can be beneficial to The Hurt Syndicate and that they can hurt him like he has never been hurt before if he screws them. Lashley quickly and happily gets on board.

The Opps (Samoa Joe, "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs) beat Rhett Titus, Nick Comoroto and Myles Hawkins in a trios match. After the match, The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir) attack The Opps from behind, and as Samoa Joe has Jon Moxley in a sleeper hold, Claudio hits Shibata with a Neutralizer in an open metal folding chair, injuring Shibata. As The Death Riders leave through the crowd, Samoa Joe calls out Moxley, saying he likes to act like a boss but acts like "a little bitch" when The Opps throw hands. He says that Moxley begged for a one-on-one match from him and that he is giving Moxley what he wants, but Moxley does not seem to want that. He then says Moxley has already made his request, and that if he is going to fight him for the AEW World Championship, then he will fight him inside a steel cage.

We see Renee Paquette's sit-down with Mercedes Moné. Mercedes says she can go on about honoring Owen Hart's legacy, but it is about her and her own legacy in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. She says that she has been undefeated in AEW for over a year and has beaten the best in AEW and all over the globe, and while Jamie Hayter is talented, she has a "terrible Scooby-Doo style" and looks like a cartoon.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian, Mother Wayne). Jay Lethal is nearby as Christian is about to speak, and he says that Nick Wayne has a lot to learn and prove. Lethal then challenges Nick Wayne to a match for the ROH World Television Championship. Nick Wayne is reluctant, but Christian accepts on his behalf. Lethal leaves, then Christian tells Nick Wayne to get his head in the game if you want to be a champion.

We see a video package of "Timeless" Toni Storm at the TCM Classic Film Festival and Miyu Yamashita accepting "Timeless" Toni Storm's challenge.

"Timeless" Toni Storm beats Miyu Yamashita in an AEW World Women's Championship Elimination Match. After the match, Mercedes Moné shows up and tells Toni Storm that she is coming for what she deserves after she beats Jamie Hayter. Hayter shows up and confronts Mercedes, and when Mercedes tries to slap her, Hayter blocks and hits her. Mercedes runs away after ducking a punch from Hayter. Toni Storm then flails around on the mat to Jamie Hayter's theme.

We hear from The Don Callis Family (Don Callis, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander). Don Callis says he likes making history and that Alexander and Takeshita made history by putting down Will Ospreay and Brody King. He says he loved watching it so much that he wants to make history again with Kyle Fletcher dismantling "Hangman" Adam Page and putting Ospreay down to win the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Fletcher says he will go on to All In and win the AEW World Championship, and that anyone who opposes the family will have no choice but to say his full name: "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher.

The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) head to the ring. MVP announces that they have been discussing adding a fourth member to their ranks, and according to their corporate by-laws, that prospect must receive the unanimous three thumbs up. He proclaims that after consulting with Shelton and Lashley, they will try this one more time, and invites MJF to the ring. MJF shows up and heads to the ring. After MJF has some small talk with The Hurt Syndicate, MVP and Shelton give their thumbs up. Lashley, however, still gives a thumbs down, and MJF says he is "sick of [Lashley's] shit" and wants to know what would please Lashley other than Rogaine. Lashley grabs MJF and tells him that The Hurt Syndicate hurts people, and if he wants to impress him, he needs to hurt somebody. MVP and Shelton back Lashley off, then The Hurt Syndicate leave.

We see a video package of Stokely Hathaway looking for a tag team and finding one in FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). He says that he can get things done and that he and FTR have proved that they will not be stopped. He says FTR has two goals: solidify their legacy and win back the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

"The Prodigy" Nick Wayne retains the Ring of Honor World Television Championship against Jay Lethal. After the match, Christian Cage personally puts the title around Nick Wayne's waist.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher to advance to the finals of the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and face Will Ospreay at Double or Nothing.
