Let's Go! - LFG recap for April 27, 2025 (Episode Two)

Shawn Michaels meets with the Legends and Future Greats. He explains that next week, the "LFG Playoffs" begin and that eliminations will start. This week's challenge is monikers and nicknames, and this week's guest is "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. AJ Styles says that "Phenomenal" is a feeling to embody and is not just about doing flips. Afterwards, the Future Greats pitch ideas to the Legends. Sirena goes with "La Diablita," which means "The Little Devil" in Spanish. Leigh Laurel wants to be "The Silent Killer," but Booker T tells her that she needs to be able to display that instead of being the "butterfly" she has already is. Dani picks "The Shooting Star," as she sees herself as unlimited potential. Tatyanna calls herself "The Gold Standard" at the behest of Bubba Ray, which Tyra Mae thinks is a lie as there is nothing golden about her. Tatyanna sees that as an insecurity on Tyra Mae's part. Tyra Mae goes with "The Real Deal," but Booker T calls that disrespectful after what Evander Holyfield did, and this leds to Elijah Holyfield seizing the moment and calling himself "The Holyfield Warrior," saying that being a warrior is in his blood and that he will conquer everything in his path, inflict pain and win championships while doing it, as it is "the Holyfield Warrior way." AJ Styles reminds him that sometimes, the war can be in his head and not just in the ring. The Undertaker is impressed by Elijah's initiative, but Booker T states that he brought that out of him. Zena goes with "The Oxymoron," stating that she was viewed as a moron at the beginning but is now the one to beat. Styles is a bit weirded out by the explanation, but he understands the meaning behind it. (Bully Ray holds Zena's gum both before and after BJ goes with "The West Coast Gangsta" and says he grew up on the streets of Orange County, California and that there were years were his father barely made half a million dollars. Drake Morreaux goes with "The Bayou Boy," which impresses the Legends with his ability to lean into the swampy New Orleans side of himself. Shiloh Hill goes with "The Hellraiser," and brings out his intensity as he does. Jasper Troy goes with "The Reaper," which brings up an Undertaker comparison from Styles. Chris Island goes with "The Promised Child," which Jasper Troy takes as Chris Island wanting to always be known as "little brother." He also tells Chris Island that he was looking for a grown man.

Zena "The Oxymoron" Sterling and "The Gold Standard" Tatyanna Dumas beat Dani "The Shooting Star" Sekelsky and "La Diablita" Sirena Linton. Styles says that he expected Dani and Sirena to stand out a little more. Dani feels like she was run over in the tail end of the competition. Booker says that Zena is excelling and that she knows how to get herself and others over. Bubba Ray wants to see more out of Tatyanna, and calls the match "a good effort." Afterwards, Tatyanna feels that she did not deliver and that her performance is unacceptable.

"The West Coast Gangsta" BJ Ray and "The Bayou Boy" Drake Morreaux beat Anthony "Showtime" Luke and "The Reaper" Jasper Troy. Bubba Ray says BJ Ray and Morreaux worked together, but feels he did not see enough of "The West Coast Gangster." Styles says BJ "worked small" and looked small as a result. BJ says he did not want to come across as a heel, as he was working as a babyface in the match. Mickie James says she enjoyed watching Morreaux and BJ, and Morreaux is glad that the Legends enjoyed. Booker T says Anthony Luke did a good job but could have done better, and he and The Undertaker agree that Anthony has too much talent to be hokey. Anthony says he has a lot to improve on. Everyone agrees that Jasper Troy as "The Reaper" felt genuine, especially The Undertaker, and that Jasper Troy believed his moniker. Styles says Jasper was not trying to send someone to the hospital; he was trying to send someone to the morgue. Jasper says The Undertaker was the one man he wanted to impress, as he held the keys, and that means the world to him.

Leigh "The Detonator" Laurel and Penina "P-Nasty" Tuilalepa beat "The Real Deal" Tyla Mae Steele and Bayley "The Bone Collector" Humphrey. AJ Styles says Leigh had her moniker down from the get-go, but expected Penina to be a little nastier. The Undertaker says Penina scratched the surface for her moniker. Mickie tells Leigh that something has clicked and that she has brought her A-game. Booker T says Tyra Mae could have been more structured, but she did a good job. He also tells Bayley to put more of a focus of looking good in the ring.

"The Promised Child" Chris Island and "The Superhuman Superstar" Troy Yearwood beat Shiloh "The Hellraiser" Hill and Elijah "The Holyfield Warrior." The Undertaker feels that everyone's monikers were not showcased well enough, and Bubba Ray agrees. Styles says everyone will get there, but he agrees with The Undertaker and Bubba Ray.

The points are awarded. Booker T says some people stood out more than others, but everyone is on the right path. He says that it is only going to get harder from here. Mickie James says everyone put on some good matches, but it was all about monikers this week. The Undertaker says everyone is getting better, and that this is what they need to see and that everyone needs to set themselves apart from the path. Bubba Ray says there is no excuses, especially since everyone knew the assignment. Styles awards a point to Jasper Troy for the men for showing a lot of intensity, and a point to Zena for the women for showing what her moniker was all about, even if he did not understand it at first. Team Undertaker is first at seven points, Team Booker is at six points, Team Bubba Ray is now in third place with four points, and Team Mickie is still at three points and is now in last place.
