He says that KAW actually sold tickets, unlike Memphis Wrestling, and says that Derrick King is as much of a fraud as Dustin and that he was the one to sign a contract with WWE. Derrick King says Terry Golden may have made Hall of Famers, but he is not a Hall of Famer himself and neither is KAW, and proposes a match between KAW and Memphis Wrestling's best. Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for November 7, 2017

Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Shane McMahon hypes up Survivor Series again, and says that after that event, Raw will never call them the B-show again. Despite the two brands going head-to-head like last year, this year is personal after the attacks between the brands. Shane tells Raw General Manager Kurt Angle he will stand across from him in the ring and get revenge on what happened to General Manager Daniel Bryan, who will be back next week. Shane says D-Bry resembles everything the locker room is, and says if they get knocked down, they will not stay down. Shane then brings out three Superstars who he calls the definition of fight: The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods). Kofi says it was not their intention for The Shield to lose the Raw tag team titles, but "such are the consequences for putting Raw under siege." Xavier Woods then asks what they are going to do until The New Day says Raw will do nothing. Big E says Shane led the stage and they looked Raw in the eye and beat them down. Kofi says they are ready for the consequences of their action, and Woods says they will be the ones to beat Raw back to Mondays. After Shane tells them they are the guys he wants, he says "because." This leads to a New Day dance. Suddenly, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn show up, and Owens says he is not impressed. Sami Zayn tells Shane McMahon that he is not cool, and that he should never, ever dance again. Kofi notes the irony in Sami Zayn telling Shane how to dance, saying he looks like a fool during his entrance. Owens says Shane has a hard time dealing with the fact that he beat him at Hell In A Cell, and tells him not to punish the blue brand for his shortcomings. Sami says he and Owens could have showed up and beat the entire Raw roster if they wanted to, but they are men of honor. Since this doesn't jive with Shane, though, he set them up to fail. Shane says Sami's attitude is why he and Owens are not leading SmackDown Live. Sami says he lost to a low blow, not Randy Orton, and Shane did nothing to do fix that, saying if they did a low blow, they would be fined or worse. When Owens is reminded by Shane of his loss to "The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura, Owens says it is ridiculous he and Sami were in qualifying matches in the first place. He wants to know if Shane wants them to be like his "New Day puppets." Kofi says the only puppet he sees is Sami Zayn, and Big E says that when Kevin Owens brushes his teeth - which isn't that often - Sami gets a manicure. Sami Zayn says he will find it funny when Team Raw beats Team SmackDown and the blue brand will have nobody to blame but Shane McMahon. Shane accuses Sami and Owens of having no brand loyalty and acting entitled, and says Sami is entitled to a match tonight against Kofi Kingston...and it's next.

James Ellsworth is outside of the women's locker room when Tamina comes out. Ellsworth asks for Carmella. Tamina goes back in. Becky Lynch shows up. Becky tells James that he should be worried about him. James Ellsworth says the Women's Revolution is a farce and that she would be the first one hiding behind him. Ellsworth says this is "Man-chester" and that a woman should not be in the ring. He says he lets Carmella wrestle because it makes her happy, and he will prove men are better. Becky says those are "pretty ballsy statements," and then says it is too bad that he doesn't have any.

Whoever wins this match - and the title - will face Alexa Bliss at Survivor Series. Natalya says this is unfair, and asks how many chances Charlotte is going to get.

Before the next match, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) claim that Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin will not take their tag team titles, and call them "American Alpha Part 2." They then say that Benjamin and Gable are their next victims and welcome them to the Uso Penitentiary, then attack them before the bell rings.

Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) by count-out after Gable hits Jey Uso with a chop block, hurting his knee and causing him to be unable to get back in the ring. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

It is announced that Luke Harper will guest star on the USA original series Damnation, and we see a preview of Harper's guest spot.

Renee Young interviews "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. He says Jinder Mahal will learn portion control, and to not take him likely. He says that people have taken him lightly throughout his life, and he has won because of that. He will show Jinder why he is phenomenal and why SmackDown Live is the house that he built. At Survivor Series, he will become the beastmaster and slay Brock Lesnar.

Next week: Sin Cara vs. Baron Corbin for the WWE United States Championship! The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn!

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Jinder Mahal to become the WWE Champion for a second time! After the match, Jinder Mahal is angry with The Singh Brothers, and he beats up both of them for failing him. Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for March 7, 2017

Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan start tonight's show. Daniel Bryan says that Randy Orton should get an opportunity at Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, while Shane says the shot should go to Styles. Knowing that they don't always agree, and knowing that nobody has ever successfully abdicated their spot in the main event at WrestleMania. They had the match to determine who would be #1 contender last week, and AJ Styles beat Luke Harper to earn that spot...then Orton stabbed Wyatt in the back by burning down the Waytt Family compound. This is why they have both come to the decision of having a one-on-one match between Randy Orton and AJ Styles, with the winner going to the WWE Championship match against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania.

AJ Styles confronts Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan for their recent announcement, and chalks it up to an "anti-AJ conspiracy." He says he will face Randy Orton tonight, as he is not afraid of a viper...or them.

Before the next match, James Ellsworth says he is the "mac daddy" of SmackDown Live and that he will wipe the floor with John Cena before introducing Carmella. After John Cena and Nikki Bella arrive and the next match begins, The Miz and Maryse show up, distracting Nikki.

John Cena and Nikki Bella beat James Ellsworth and Carmella with a double STF, then The Miz and Maryse drag Cena and Nikki out of the ring and lay them out. The Miz then gets in the ring and says he couldn't take it anymore, saying he and Maryse signify true love and not Cena and Nikki, especially after Cena had Nikki sign a contract "to be his contract" on Total Divas. Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for November 22, 2016

The Miz and Maryse join Charly Caruso backstage during the pre-show, and The Miz says that SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan should be hoisting him in the air in celebration for keeping the Intercontinental title on SmackDown Live. Instead, he saw D-Bry backing everyone else but him before Survivor Series.

SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan is interviewed via Skype on the pre-show. He says that The Miz does not deserve congratulations due to how he retained the Intercontinental title. He has given Miz ample opportunities on the brand, and has earned them despite doing despicable things in the past. He says that if he could trade The Miz for someone else, but he doesn't have all the power in the world as General Manager. When asked why he could put SmackDown Live Shane McMahon in the match instead of giving the opportunity to someone else, D-Bry says he talked to Shane, and Shane said he was up for it. He now regrets putting him in the match, especially after Shane's wife and sons showed concern for Shane when he returned to the back after his injury. D-Bry says he would have loved having the Cruiserweight Division on SmackDown Live and that it would have benefitted the Cruiserweights, as it would have given the division a better opportunity to succeed. He says that there will be repercussions for Survivor Series tonight. Daniel finished by saying that Brie Bella is doing excellent when asked which is harder to deal with: being General Manager of SmackDown Live or dealing with a pregnant Brie.

Dasha Fuentes reports from the arena during the pre-show, hyping up TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Heath Slater and Rhyno will defend the SmackDown tag team titles against the winner of tonight's Tag Team Turmoil match. Also, there are rumors of repercussions for Baron Corbin for his actions from Survivor Series, as well as another potential opportunity for SmackDown Live to take the Cruiserweight Division from Raw.

The Gobbledygooker makes a surprise appearance on the pre-show.

SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show in his first appearance since his injury at Survivor Series. He apolgizes for not being his usual energetic self after what he went through on Sunday night. He gives a shout-out to Team Raw, even though Team SmackDown Live won the Men's Survivor Series match, saying that they brought the fight, especially after Roman Reigns "nearly separated [him] from his Jordans." He also thanks his team as well, even though Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton were the only survivors and AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose couldn't get along. Ambrose says it's a brand new day, and Shane confronts him for the brief reunion of The Shield (Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) when the three of them power bombed Styles through a table. Ambrose then brings out James Ellsworth, whom he calls the MVP for getting Braun Strowman eliminated. Ellsworth comes out in a neck brace, but is still able to walk to the ring. It is announced that Ellsworth has gotten a contract while Ambrose not only gets the night off, but get kicked out of the building. Styles enters as Ambrose leaves, and Styles complains that Ambrose doesn't deserve a shot at the World Championship and that Ellsworth doesn't deserve a contract to SmackDown Live, as Ellsworth didn't earn it and instead has had it given it to him as he says that he has earned his contract. Styles then challenges Ellsworth to a ladder match despite Ellsworth being in a neck brace, and says he know Ellsworth he will lose and that he will tear the contract up in his face. Shane tells Ellsworth that he has earned his contract, but Ellsworth tells Styles he has no problem taking him on again after beating him twice, and demands that if he wins, he not only wants the contract, he wants a title shot for the WWE World Championship. When Shane asks Ellsworth if he is sure that he wants this, Ellsworth says he wants it all or nothing at all. Shane then makes it official, then Dean Ambrose somehow shows back up, standing behind Shane and Ellsworth. Shane, bemused by this, doesn't even boot him out of the building immediately.

SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan interrupts The Miz and Maryse's photo shoot to tell The Miz that he humiliated SmackDown Live over how he retained the Intercontinental Championship, while The Miz expects a "Mizgiving" celebration in his honor for winning for SmackDown Live at Survivor Series. Daniel Bryan, however, has something for him: a match against Kalisto with the Intercontinental title on the line...and it's next.

SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon finally gets Dean Ambrose to leave the building peacefully.

Alexa Bliss shows up, wanting to know when she will get her shot at the SmackDown Women's title. Becky Lynch shows up and tells her she will get her title shot in two weeks at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Natalya shows up, blows her whistle, and blames Team SmackDown Live's loss in the women's Survivor Series match on Becky Lynch because Becky is supposedly threatened by Alexa. Shane tells them they're all to blame, and that it is still not known who attacked Nikki Bella. He then puts Natalya in a match against Becky Lynch for being so sure of herself, and Natalya tells Becky "Near, far, wherever you are, I will beat you because this Hart goes on," which is a reference to My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion. This drives Alexa Bliss crazy and causes her to leave while Dean Ambrose shows up yet again, saying the song is from the movie Titanic while holding a box of pizza in his hands. Shane tells Dean to leave again.

Baron Corbin is backstage when he is confronted by Daniel Bryan, who tells him his actions are stupid and reckless. D-Bry puts Corbin in a match against Kane tonight as repercussions for his actions.

After the match, The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Randy Orton) show up on the TitanTron and tell American Alpha not to celebrate and that they still have yet to face all of the tag teams on SmackDown Live. Orton says that they aren't just a team, they're a family. Bray Wyatt then challenges American Alpha to a tag team match next week.

SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan asks James Ellsworth if he is okay with going through with the ladder match, but Ellsworth says that anything can happen and that any man with two feet can climb a ladder and fulfill a childhood dream. Dean Ambrose shows up dressed as The Mountie, and Daniel Bryan asks him to leave before Shane McMahon shows up. Shane shows up anyway and yells at Dean to leave, but D-Bry asks Shane to leave as he is beaten up and looking frustrated. Shane says that's a good idea as he might do something he will regret. Dean then tells D-Bry to send a message to AJ Styles when explaining why he is dressed as The Mountie: The Mountie always gets his man.

The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) plug the Countdown To Black Friday Sale on WWEShop.com.

D-Bry reminds Miz that Dolph Ziggler still has his championship rematch, and that rematch will be at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. After the match, both Miz and Ziggler will go their separate ways, win or lose. To make sure of that, D-Bry makes the match a ladder match.

Nikki Bella confronts Carmella over the attack on her at Survivor Series. Carmella denies attacking her, saying she would take credit for it if she did, and reminds Nikki that she has made a lot of enemies in WWE. Nikki admits she is not a saint, but tells Carmella that she has gotten with Daniel Bryan and has set up a match between the two of them at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. and it will be a no-disqualification match.

Kane vs. Baron Corbin comes to a swift end when Kalisto interferes. Kane then gets the choke slam on Corbin, then Kalisto stands over Baron Corbin before grabbing a steel chair and forcing Corbin to roll out of the ring. Kalisto dares Corbin to get back in, and Corbin calls his bluff only for Kalisto to throw the chair at Baron Corbin and kicking it into Corbin's face when he catches it.

James Ellsworth beats AJ Styles in a Ladder Match with the help of Dean Ambrose, who returns one more time in an Ottawa Senators jersey. AJ Styles is unable to stop Ellsworth when his foot gets caught in the ropes after a superkick. Ellsworth earns a full-time contract and a World title shot down the line, and is crying tears of joy as Ambrose carries him to the commentary table where he and Ellsworth celebrate.

American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) appear on Talking Smack. They are happy to have another shot at the SmackDown tag titles, and are confident that they will win next week against The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Randy Orton) next week.

On Talking Smack, Baron Corbin confronts SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan for tonight's match, and Daniel Bryan easily catches the irony in this. Corbin complains about his time being taken on SmackDown Live, but Daniel Bryan thinks that Corbin is complaining that he can't handle Kalisto. Daniel Bryan then makes a Chairs Match between Kalisto and Corbin at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, and Corbin tells Daniel Bryan to call Kalisto's family, telling him he'll be coming home for good.
