We hear from The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, Adrianna Rizzo). Tony D'Angelo says it's time for the whole family to have championship gold. Stacks talks about how somebody dressed up as Santa as a kid, tried to steal presents and got whacked with a broomstick by his mother before saying that he and Crusifino are coming for the tag team titles.

Backstage, Lexis King is met by William Regal, who is impressed by Lexis' growth and dedication and asks to be in his corner. Lexis says he is the best version of himself and that he will become Heritage Cup Champion.

Lexis King beats Charlie Dempsey by disqualification in the third round to become the NXT Heritage Cup Champion! As the ref checks on Dempsey, William Regal hands Lexis King brass knuckles, which Lexis refuses. Regal punches Lexis out, knocking the knuckles out of Lexis' hand. Dempsey picks up the knuckles, but the ref sees Lexis knocked out before seeing Dempsey with the knuckles. The ref concludes that Dempsey knocked Lexis out with the knuckles, and ends the match, with Lexis becoming champion as the Heritage Cup can be won by disqualification.

We hear from OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price). Bronco Nima says they are the realest tag team in NXT, and Lucien Price says the fans will be disappointed by their gifts yet have no choice but to thank their family, who Bronco says they cannot wait to see leave. He also says they want the rest of the teams out of the tag title picture, and that in 2025, they will become tag team champions.

Backstage, Kelani Jordan tells Stephanie Vaquer that she does not need her for protection. Lola shows up, telling her to calm down and saying Stephanie is just looking out for her. Kelani is not having it, citing their recent actions, and tells them to get out of her face.

Santa Claus is seen again before the next match, this time in the upper levels with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.

The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) beat The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx). During the match, Shotzi, Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin show up to watch from ringside, and Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance are also seen watching the match from backstage. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter are seen watching from ringside near the end of the match. The match ends with a double team by The Unholy Union on Jacy Jayne after Fallon Henley and Jazymn Nyx confront Katana and Kayden at ringside, which allows Gigi Dolin to shove Jacy Jayne off the top rope behind the referee's back.

Backstage, Tavion Heights and Myles Borne feel Charlie Dempsey was robbed, then concentrate on the tag team title picture. Meanwhile, Zaria thanks Sol Ruca for pushing her out of the way in last week's match when Izzi Dame shows up to tell them they are better off alone. Shawn Spears shows up and says that just because she is alone does not mean she has to be alone, but Izzi just wants Shawn to go away.

We see a tweet on Twitter/X from Eddy Thorpe, stating and showing that his foot was below the bottom rope at the end of last week's main event.

Ashante "Thee" Adonis beats Dion Lennox after countering a roll-up with one of his own. Nikkita Lyons shows up to watch from ringside during the match, and near the end of the match, she puts Ashante's foot on the bottom rope to stop a pinfall attempt by Lennox.

Backstage, Shotzi, Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin meet with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter when Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson also show up, saying they are the best. Kayden and Katana make it clear they are not worried about them and leave, leaving Lash and Jakara to argue with Shotzi, Tatum and Gigi.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Lexis King. Lexis says that if he stuck to his integrity, tonight would be the night and he could be champion. He does not address what happened between him and William Regal.

We hear from "All Ego" Ethan Page, who blames Je'Von Evans for his actions from last week after he had to hear him carry on about how his year was and says that he is ending it eating through a star thanks to him. He says that if he wanted to see the real him, he got it, and that he can still picture the sound of Je'Von's mandible cracking. Ethan Page says he took Je'Von Evans' smile away from him, and he feels neither remorse or regret, calling finding his smile by taking Je'Von's the highlight of his career.

OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) beat The D'Angelo Family (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino), the team of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, and No Quarter Catch Crew (Tavion Heights and Myles Borne) in a Christmas Chaos Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender's Match to become #1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championships after Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe show up to brawl with Hank and Tank, Tony D'Angelo hands Stacks and Crusifino candy cane crowbars, and Santa Claus hits Tony D'Angelo with a DDT to reveal himself to be Ridge Holland.

Trick Williams heads to the ring. As Trick Williams addresses last week's main event, Oba Femi shows up says that last week is done and that it is time to look to the future. Suddenly, Eddy Thorpe shows up and says he cares about last week and that Oba will have to deal with it, too. Thorpe says that his foot was under the bottom rope and that Trick escaped him, but Trick says he should have beaten him cleanly. Oba Femi says Trick is the champion right now, and that this will only last for two more weeks until he beats him. Thorpe says he has business with Trick and that Oba has to wait, but Oba says he is done waiting. Oba says Thorpe blamed him for the attack on him and put it on his people, and calls him a liar. Trick Williams makes a Triple Threat Match between himself, Thorpe and Oba, knowing the risks that comes with it, but says he will come out proving his doubters wrong. Oba says Trick is being slick, as he knows he cannot beat him one-on-one and has to put Thorpe in the title to keep the title. Oba then warns Thorpe that with him in the mix, his chances are zero. General Manager Ava shows up and says that if Trick wants this match, she will sign off on it. Trick says he wants this, and Ava makes the match official for New Year's Evil. Thorpe throws a fist at Trick, but Trick ducks and Thorpe hits Oba instead. Oba clotheslines both men at once, then goes to town on both of them individually. Thorpe manages to avoid Oba, but Oba raises up the NXT Championship.
