Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for July 11, 2024

Tonight's episode picks up right where the last one left off. We find out that Frankie Kazarian was being filmed by "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth, who says that he is here to watch "The Wanted Man" Nic Nemeth kick Kazarian's ass. Nic Nemeth is seen in the distance, and the two men brawl outside of the arena. Security soon shows up and breaks the brawl up, and Nic Nemeth is seen holding his left forearm.

Jordynne Grace's open challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship is answered by Izzi Dame from NXT.

Before the match begins, Ash by Elegance's personal concierge George Iceman says that that the match cannot happen because Ash by Elegance is on vacation, and that she will be watching via satellite from a luxury resort that the fans cannot afford. We then see Ash by Elegance watching via satellite from The Bahamas.

Jordynne Grace retains the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Izzi Dame. During the match, George Iceman the personal concierge is scared off to the back by Rosemary.

Backstage, Director of Authority Santino Marella announces tonight's main event: a Wild Card Tag Team Match, where the participants are picked at random. The competitors are Josh Alexander and Joe Hendry vs. Steve Maclin and Moose.

Charlie Dempsey beats Zachary Wentz after Trey Miguel is attacked on the outside by NXT Superstar and fellow No Quarter Catch Crew member of Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne. After the match, Charlie Dempsey continues to attack Wentz, and Myles Borne joins in.

We hear from The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) and JDC. Alisha Edwards says they are the most dominant faction in professional wrestling. Eddie Edwards announces that next week, they get The Hardys, and it is going to be an epic night for them. Brian Myers says they have a list of accomplishments a mile long and cannot wait to add beating The Hardys to it. Moose says JDC - who is standing next to him - has been pulling his weight and has been impressing him, and as for tonight's match, he tells Steve Maclin to stay out of his way as he takes on two other men who do not impress him, so that Maclin too will learn to trust The System.

We hear from Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne. Dempsey says that he was not coming alone and remembered to bring back-up. He says he has watched The Rascalz's (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) matches and knows their tricks, and that No Quarter Catch Crew (Dempsey, Borne, Tavion Heights) is the most dominant faction there is. Tavion Heights shows up and says that they are global, then Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up and puts them in a six-man tag match against The Rascalz and a tag team partner from TNA who knows their world.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey beats Jonathan Gresham and KUSHIDA in a three-way match to become #1 contender for the TNA X Division Championship. During the match, Gresham spits ink into his hand and tries to harm KUSHIDA with the ink, but KUSHIDA counters with green mist. As KUSHIDA puts a blinded Gresham in the Hoverboard Lock in the corner, Gresham hits them both with Ultima Weapon and pins Gresham to win the match and become #1 contender. After the match, Mustafa Ali's Secret Service agents and Campaign Singh rush in and attack "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Trent Seven, and Mustafa shows up with a chair and states that actions have consequences. Trent Seven tries to stop Mustafa, but he gets attacked, and Mustafa smashes the chair on Trent's right leg before putting Trent in the Sharpshooter while Speedball is forced to watch. Security shows up to stop what is going on.

We see Steph de Lander on a beach, who has resigned herself to the fact that true love was not for her until she met PCO. She says that sometimes, the best things are right in front of you, and you have to open your eyes and see it. She says that she is heading back home to Australia to resolve some loose ends, and asks PCO if he will wait for her.

Before the next match, AJ Francis declares himself the greatest TNA Digital Media Championship of all time and the longest-reigning Canadian International Wrestling Champion of the modern era. He says that he is a benevolent champion, and that Rhino will be as extinct as the Phillies' chance of winning the World Series when he is done. Francis and Rhino go at it, but Rhino is attacked by Rich Swann, which ends the match as soon as it starts. After the match, Fir$t Cla$$ (Francis and Swann) continue to attack Rhino, then Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up and restarts the match as a Philadelphia Street Fight.

AJ Francis retains the TNA Digital Media Championship against Rhino in a Philadelphia Street Fight with a low blow. After the match, Fir$t Cla$$ (Francis and Rich Swann) continue to attack Rhino again, but the lights go out. When they come back on, PCO is in the ring, and he fends off Fir$t Cla$$ on his own, even after Swann kicks him in the head. PCO goes for a tope suicida, but comes up empty. Francis then choke slams PCO on the ramp on his way out.

"The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw beats Tasha Steelz.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Xia Brookside. Xia Brookside says she had her match with Masha Slamovich won had it not been for Alisha Edwards, and next week, she will get her revenge. She also says that Steph de Lander is one of the strongest women she knows and that true love conquers all when Steph de Lander is addressed.

JDC beats Chris Bey. During the match, The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers) show up to get a closer look at the match. Later, as Chris Bey goes on top following a rolling neckbreaker, Eddie and Myers approach Bey, and "Inevitable" Ace Austin fights Myers while Bey hits Eddie with a top rope cross body from the outside. On the way back into the ring, however, JDC hits Bey with a leg drop from the top rope for the win. After the match, Eddie, Myers and JDC attack ABC (Austin and Bey).

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) return next week!

Before the next match, Joe Hendry makes fun of "Dancin' Moose" and Steve Maclin, saying all Maclin wants to talk about is tagging and bagging. He then says that all Maclin will be bagging after tonight's match is his groceries while the fans chant "We Believe." Soon after Hendry speaks, Frankie Kazarian shows up and guests on commentary for the next match.

Moose and Steve Maclin beat Joe Hendry and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander in a Wild Card Tag Team Match after Frankie Kazarian leaves the commentary table to take a swipe at Joe Hendry, distracting Hendry as he and Alexander have the match won, allowing Moose and Maclin to hit the Spear and the K.I.A. on Alexander respectively for the win.
