Heatwave 2024 - The LIVE Results

In backstage footage from earlier today, Sarah Schreiber interviews Lola Vice. Lola Vice says tonight is not about emotion, but the NXT Women's Championship. She says she is fighting for her family, but she left all her tears in Florida, and she will knock out Roxanne Perez and become the first-ever Cuban-American NXT Women's Champion.

It is reported by Sarah Schreiber that Nathan Frazer has yet to arrive at the arena for tonight's NXT Tag Team Championship match, and if he does not show up, Axiom may have to take part in the match on his own.

We see an Instagram video of Kelani Jordan and Sol Ruca training together.

We see Instagram videos from "All Ego" Ethan Page and Je'Von Evans regarding the NXT Championship Fatal 4-Way Match.

Chase University (Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, Thea Hail, Riley Osborne) gets a call from Ridge Holland where he says he is working on a few things and apologizes for his actions, which they appreciate as they prepare to win the NXT Tag Team Championships.

We see Instagram videos from Shawn Spears and Trick Williams regarding the NXT Championship Fatal 4-Way Match.

Karmen Petrovic and Arianna Grace beat Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx in the countdown. During the match, Jazmyn rolls up Karmen near the ropes, but Arianna grabs Jazymn's hair and pulls her backwards, causing Karmen to be on top of Jazymn for the win.

Nathan Frazer shows up backstage late and tells Axiom that traffic was a nightmare, then tells him he is "locked in" for their match before asking what their gameplan is, much to Axiom's annoyance.

Oba Femi retains the NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee.

Kelani Jordan retains the NXT Women's North American Championship against Sol Ruca with an avalanche reverse hurricanrana from the middle rope prior to the split leg moonsault.

We hear from Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang), who say that they are miles ahead in experience compared to Tyson Dupont and Tyrike Igwe and that they will see them Tuesday.

Backstage, General Manager Ava congratulates Karmen Petrovic and Arianna Grace. Arianna says that she was the MVP of the match even though Karmen got the pin, then says that this is the last time as she does not want an anchor weighing her down. Karmen thinks Arianna wants to know who is better between them, and Ava makes it a match for next week, much to Arianna's annoyance with Ava "pitting tag team partners together like that."

Nathan Frazer and Axiom retain the NXT Tag Team Championships against Chase University (Andre Chase and Duke Hudson).

In backstage footage from moments ago, Wes Lee says that tonight should have been his moment, but he failed and Oba Femi was the better man tonight. He says he needs some time to figure out what to do next.

NXT The Great American Bash is Tuesday, August 6th on SyFy!

Roxanne Perez retains the NXT Women's Championship against Lola Vice after hitting Pop Rox twice in the ring following hitting the move twice in the ring and a third one on the announce table, having to hit Pop Rox five times in all in order to get the win.

We hear from Lexis King, who celebrates Independence Day in North America and rock 'n roll music while making fun of Eddy Thorpe's love for EDM before stating that he will take the Heritage Cup from Tony D'Angelo. We then hear from Tony D'Angelo, who has heard what Lexis King has had to say. He says that Lexis King has no idea who he is and that he will not easily beat him for the Heritage Cup, and that when he gets in the ring with him, he will slap the beard off his face.

"All Ego" Ethan Page beats Je'Von Evans, Trick Williams and Shawn Spears in a Fatal 4-Way Match to win the NXT Championship! During the match, Trick Williams hits Je'Von Williams with an inadvertent Trick Shot, then hits Ethan with one on purpose. When he does, Ethan falls on top of Je'Von while Shawn pulls Trick out of the ring, and Ethan inadvertently pins Je'Von to become the NXT Champion. After the show ends, we see a glimpse of Joe Hendry's face from Hendry's entrance video before the show fades to black.
