Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 5, 2000

RAW

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews WWF chairman Vince McMahon. Vince says that had it not for Triple H's ego, there would not be three #1 contenders for the WWF Championship, and if people around here started listening to him, there would not be these kind of problems. Vince then has Gerald Brisco carry his bag.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley head to the ring to start tonight's show. Triple H tells the fans to shut up, then says that never before in the history of the WWF has the WWF Championship meant so much for so many or been so hotly contested, and that one cannot blame everybody for wanting it, as holding the WWF Championship means one has beaten the best there is, which is what it is all about, and being the undisputed best that there is. He says that there have never been so many people wanting to be the absolute best that there are three #1 contenders - Kane, The Undertaker and The Rock - to the championship, all of whom have the dream to stand in the ring and lay claim to beating him to become the champion. He says that while the competition is fierce, he thrives in it, and the hotter it gets, the more he loves it, as competition turns him on. Triple H then says that "big, huge inflated egos" turn him off, and while he has heard that he has a big ego, he says he should have the biggest ego on the planet due to how good he is, but he does not, as the claim to the biggest ego on the planet is reserved for just one man: WWF chairman Vince McMahon. Triple H says that Vince's ego is so big that it has become a problem, and that him and Stephanie entertaining taking over the company three or four months ago was not such a bad idea after all. Vince McMahon shows up, then Triple H says "Hello, Dad," only for Vince to take the microphone. Vince says he believes in the law of the jungle and that he believes that the bigger, stronger and smarter will eat the weaker and less fortunate one day, and that it is not Triple H's time, for while Triple H is "pretty damn good," the best thing he has ever done for his career is enter the World Wrestling Federation under his tutelage and guidance and marry his daughter Stephanie. He tells Triple H not to get ahead of himself, for regardless of whether his time comes, he made him and can break him. Triple H takes the microphone back and tells Vince that while he may have made the monster, the monster can take over any time he wants, and it was only a short time ago - last December at Armageddon - when he was kicking his ass all over the place. Triple H then shoves Vince McMahon, who takes his suit jacket off before Triple H takes his jacket off. As Vince and Triple H are about to square off, Shane McMahon shows up and says that both of their egos are out of control and that they need to relax. He says that both men's egos are so big that there is more than one #1 contender while Triple H wants to make his own matches and Vince wants to take Triple H in a fistfight. Shane then says Vince is not the only one with great ideas and that he should be running the company, which Vince and Triple H take offense to, and Shane responds by saying he is a giant killer and will kill their giant egos. Shane gets clotheslined by Vince and Triple H, and both of them get slapped by Stephanie in turn. The Rock then shows up and says that instead of a family feud, the owner of a multi-million dollar company or even the WWF Champion, he sees three of the biggest steaming, stinking, smoldering pieces of monkey crap being slapped around by "a walking two dollar slut." The Rock then says he realizes there are two other #1 contenders for the WWF Championship, but he is also a #1 contender, too, and he wants his title shot tonight. He says that he has two options: sit in the back and wait until Triple H is ready to face him, or get in the middle of the ring and whip Triple H's ass all over Rochester, New York. Kane shows up and tells The Rock that he has it all wrong, for he is the #1 contender and he wants his title shot tonight. The Undertaker then shows up and says that in all of his years in WWF, he has never seen so many assholes gathered in one place, and that with allies like the ones he has, Triple H does not need enemies. He says that while everyone else has issues, he does not give a damn, and he wants a title shot even if that means everyone faces Triple H at the same time. Vince proposes that Kane, The Rock and The Undertaker have a shot at Triple H and the WWF Championship in a Triple Threat Match to decide an undisputed #1 contender for the title, with the winner facing Triple H for the WWF Championship tonight.

Val Venis and T&A (Test and Albert) beats Too Cool (Grandmasta Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty, Rikishi). During the match, referee Teddy Long is distracted on the outside. Trish Stratus gets on the apron with one of her boots, but Grandmaster Sexay catches her. When Test charges at Grandmasta Sexay, Sexay hits him with a back elbow and then hits him with the boot. As the referee is still distracted, Val Venis hits Grandmasta Sexay with one of the tag team title belts. After the match, both teams brawl, and Too Cool comes out on top with Val Venis almost getting the Stinkface when Trish Stratus confronts him. Trish slaps Rikishi after Venis rolls out of the ring, and she ends up getting the Stinkface instead. Too Cool then celebrate in the ring.

Backstage, Vince McMahon praises Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley for making everything look believable, and Triple H apologizes to Vince. Vince says that if Triple H is sorry, then he is sorry. Shane McMahon then says "families gotta hug," then everyone hugs. Crash Holly then tries to run into the proceedings with a chair, but Gerald Brisco slams the nearby door on him without so much as looking back.

Chris Benoit beats Road Dogg with a German suplex bridge pin to qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament after The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) rush in and distract Road Dogg. After the match, Bubba Ray grabs Tori from behind as Tori checks on Road Dogg, and D-Von takes out Road Dogg before setting up a table on the outside. Bubba Ray is about to powerbomb Tori through the table when X-Pac hits him with a blow, and X-Pac and Tori flee with Road Dogg.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson when Crash Holly sneaks up from behind the curtain and attacks Patterson with a plastic soda bottle carrier.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly interviews Kane. Kane says that in tonight's Triple Threat Match, there are no allies, and when it comes to the WWF Championship, he does not have a brother in The Undertaker.

Crash Holly heads to the ring. He calls Gerald Brisco and tells him to get to the ring and wrestle him after saying he promised his mother he would not get upset. Pat Patterson shows up and says that if he wants the WWF Hardcore Champion, he will give him to him. Patterson then introduces Brisco, who heads to the ring for an impromptu match but runs away from Crash when Crash runs after him.

Gerald Brisco retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against Crash Holly despite Pat Patterson running in to bring a pair of poop-stained underwater into the ring only for Crash to use it as a weapon against Brisco. Brisco gets the pinfall after kicking a stop sign into Crash's face from the corner while the underwear is still around his head, and Pat Patterson gets on top of Gerald Brisco to ensure Brisco retains the title.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews The Undertaker. The Undertaker says Kane is "damn right" when Kane said he had no allies and no brother in tonight's Triple Threat Match.

Before the next match, Christian says that Rochester, New York is known for three things: the best chili dog in New York three years in a row, the home of a sports team that Christian is unable to identify, and being the home of Kodak. Kurt Angle says he finds it very ironic that "the Kodak moment" originated in a town with very unattractive people, then Edge leads into the five second pose "for the benefit of those with teeth."

When Michael Cole tells Triple H that the referee for the match is Earl Hebner, Triple H says that it will not matter who the referee is, as all the referee needs to do is make the three-count. Michael then interviews Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and mentions that she has yet to defend the WWF Women's Championship. Stephanie asks Michael Cole who he is to say who she defends the title again and when, as she has no number one contender, unlike Triple H. This leads Ivory and Jacqueline to show up and confront her over a title shot, and Stephanie announces that on SmackDown, there will be a women's battle royal and that she will successfully defend the championship against whoever wins it because she is "that damn good."

Triple H retains the WWF Championship against The Rock. During the match, The McMahon-Helmsley Faction shows up and surrounds the ring, and Shane McMahon gets shoved off the ring apron by referee Earl Hebner. The Rock fights off the Faction as they get on the apron, and he is soon able to hit Triple H with The People's Elbow. X-Pac tries to pull Hebner out of the ring, but Hebner kicks him. "Road Dogg" Jesse James then confronts Hebner on the apron, and Triple H whips The Rock into Hebner before The Rock hits Triple H with a DDT. The Faction soon gets into the ring and attacks The Rock before Shane McMahon hands Triple H a chair, then The Undertaker and Kane show up and lay out The Faction. The Rock hits The Undertaker with a chair, then The Undertaker choke slams The Rock before stomping on Triple H, taking out X-Pac, Road Dogg and Shane McMahon, then leaving. Triple H then barely covers The Rock to retain. After the match, The Undertaker knocks Triple H out of the ring.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for May 25, 2000

Police officers are stationed around the inside of the ring as WWF Chairman Vince McMahon makes his way to the arena, where he tells Gerald Brisco that if The Undertaker shows up, he will have him arrested for trespassing. Vince tells Shane that tonight will not be a repeat of Monday night, then The Undertaker nearly runs down Vince, Brisco and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon. Vince, Shane and Brisco are forced to flee up a flight of stairs. Vince eventually makes it to the ring and yells at the police for not being backstage when The Undertaker nearly ran him over, then calls out The Undertaker. The Undertaker eventually shows up minus his motorcycle, then Vince asks The Undertaker "Who the hell do you think you are?" after his actions backstage and asks him if he thinks he is a badass who lives by his own rules before stating that he will pay for thinking that tonight. Before having the police arrest The Undertaker and carry him away in shackles, Vince tells The Undertaker that he was one of the happiest individuals ever at Judgment Day after The Undertaker single-handedly cost The Rock the WWF Championship, saying that he would rather enjoy that even thought Triple H would have beaten him anyway. He then asks The Undertaker how it feels to have cost The Rock the WWF Championship, and says he should not turn his back on The Rock any time soon. He then addresses his actions on Raw, saying he would have had him arrested for trespassing then, except he was not as prepared for him then as he is now. He then tells The Undertaker that he is not under contract and that he walked out on him, and Vince says that nobody walks out on him. He then says that since The Undertaker is standing in his ring on his property, he is trespassing, and orders the police to arrest him. The Undertaker takes the microphone from Vince, then asks Vince if he talks to his wife, WWE CEO Linda McMahon, anymore, saying that if he did, he would know that Linda signed him to "a big, fat contract" that gives him "lots of years and lots of zeroes," which means that Vince gets the pleasure of paying him lots of money to "kick [his] stank ass." Vince then tells the police to arrest The Undertaker for attempted vehicular homicide. One of the policemen says he would be happy to do that, but he would also have to arrest Vince on the grounds of assaulting a police officer. He then tells Vince and The Undertaker to work their problems out on their own, much to the chagrin of Vince, who yells at the police, telling them he hired them to do a job. Vince then comes face-to-face with The Undertaker, who goes for a choke slam on Vince only to be hit in the back with a steel chair by Shane. This has no effect, and Shane and Vince run up the ramp to the stage.

Before the next match, Edge informs the fans that earlier tonight, he and Christian issued an open challenge to any team in the World Wrestling Federation that they had not beaten, then says that they have beaten everybody. Raw Deal - Raw recap for May 22, 2000

RAW

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Vince says that judgment day is the day that the world is supposed to come to an end and everyone is judged by the way they live their lives, and that the world ended for several Superstars last night. He then says it is clear that the McMahon-Helmsley regime is living correctly, as they were rewarded greatly and they rewarded themselves with one of the greatest parties of all time. He apologizes for anybody looking less than their best, including himself, and says that the rest of the regime will be here tonight. He says that X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James "set the tables" for The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) and beat them at their very own game, his own son Shane McMahon single-handedly defeated Big Show, and Triple H single-handedly proved why he is "The Game" when he defeated The Rock for the WWF Championship, even though The Rock employed the services of The Undertaker. He then says it has been nice without The Undertaker, who walked out on his contract some time ago, and states that if The Undertaker shows up tonight, he will have marshals waiting to arrest him since he is no longer under contract. As far as The Rock is concerned, he is not so sure that The Rock will show up tonight and if he is big enough of a man to swallow his pride and appear tonight, but in case he does, The Rock will face him in the ring tonight...almost. Instead, The Rock will be facing Road Dogg, X-Pac, Shane McMahon and Triple H at the same time in one match. Before the next match, Kurt Angle says he has only one thing to say tonight: the New York Knicks are going down in the NBA Finals after they defeat the Indiana Pacers. Christian says Indiana is known for two things: a rich, storied basketball history and choking, whether it is Bobby Knight choking his players or the Pacers choking in the playoffs. Edge says they have decided to embrace Indiana tradition with a five-second pose called "The Big Choke", where Edge pretends to be Bobby Knight and Angle and Christian pretend to be choked Indiana University players.

In footage from last night, Michael Cole interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Shawn says he has called the match down the middle and did the best job that he could. He says that all he saw after he was knocked out was The Undertaker attacking Triple H, and says he is sick and tired of people coming down on him every time he is asked to do a job, as he can't seem to make everybody happy, and if anybody does not like it, that is too bad.

As Essa Rios walks out with The Godfather and his hos to the ring, Lita chews him out.

Before the next match, The Godfather says that while Dean Malenko is known as the man of a thousand holds, his hos know a thousand positions. He offers Malenko the choice between a wrestling match and any of his hos. Malenko asks if he can have two, then walks off with two of the hos. Saturn then attacks Essa Rios from behind.

He says they made history, and while Triple H walked out with the WWF Championship, he never beat him. The Rock tells Triple H to enjoy the WWF Championship, for in due time, he will be WWF Champion again. He then talks about The Undertaker's return at Judgment Day, and while The Undertaker did the right thing, he did it at the wrong time: on The Rock's time. As for tonight, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon found out the hard way that he cannot simply finish him off, X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James are still trapped in a truck and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon has simply left the building. As for Triple H, he could have ambushed him backstage, but he decided to wait until now to call him out so he can kick his ass all over Indianapolis, Indiana. Triple H and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley show up, and Triple H tells The Rock that they went through hell yesterday, and admits they gave all they had and that they made history when they did what nobody else could do: go for 60 minutes and set the world on fire. He then says yesterday was The Rock's judgment day, and that The Rock was punished while he was rewarded, and that he felt it all slide out of The Rock as those 60 minutes ended. He says The Rock cannot hang with him, as he is the best there is, and while The Rock can say he never beat him, there are two men here tonight staring each other in the eye and one of them is a loser while the other is a winner. Triple H says that after all was said and done and the smoke cleared, he was the undisputed WWF Champion. The Rock simply tells Triple H "Just bring it." Triple H then takes off his jacket and heads to the ring, and after he cautiously enters the ring, both he and The Rock brawl. X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James run into the ring, as does Shane McMahon, but The Rock fends them all off. Gerald Brisco helps WWF Chairman Vince McMahon into the ring, but The Rock hits him with a Rock Bottom. Afterwards, the numbers game catches up to The Rock. As the McMahon-Helmsley regime places steel steps into the ring, The Undertaker shows up. The Undertaker fights off each member of the McMahon-Helmsley regime, including Vince McMahon, one by one, and nearly runs Vince over on his motorcycle before riding around the ring. Vince chases everyone back to the back, then Triple H nearly hits The Rock with a Pedigree on the steel steps. The Rock counters with a back drop before clotheslining Triple H out of the ring, and both men fight on the announce table before The Rock puts Triple H through it with a Rock Bottom to end the show.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for April 27, 2000

After the match, Lita hit Eddie Guerrero with a moonsault from the top rope before stomping on him along with Essa Rios. Chyna then chases Lita and Essa Rios out of the ring and checks on Eddie.

The DX Express arrives outside of the arena, and D-Generation X (Triple H and "Road Dogg" Jesse James), Tori, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon and WWF co-owners Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley walk out of it.

We look back on January 1999, when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin arrives to the arena in a white limousine with monster truck wheels.

The Rock shows up. He says it is safe to say he has been through hell to get to where he is at, and looking back at everything that Triple H and the McMahons have done to him, he still stands in the ring and he is still heading to Backlash. However, he realizes it is not over yet and that they have one more night to do something to him, and asks what exactly they are going to do to him this time, bring up ideas such as a steel cage match or a "Stephanie [McMahon-Helmsley]'s dirty panties on a pole match." He then calls the McMahons and Triple H out, and tells them to bring out whatever idea for a match they have for him. D-Generation X (Triple H and "Road Dogg" Jesse James), Tori, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon and WWF co-owners Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley all show up, and Triple H says that The Rock had some pretty good ideas for matches, and that they have all been thinking that same question for the last few days. He then credits Stephanie with coming up with some ideas that are "absolutely brutal" before saying he has kicked The Rock's ass so many times that he is starting to get boring and redundant. He proposes waiting until Sunday so he can kick his ass for the WWF Championship one last time, then says that The Rock is seeming tense tonight and tells him to relax. He tells The Rock to take the night off, as everyone else in his party also have the night off and will be relaxing as they watch "Road Dogg" Jesse James as he destroys Christian tonight. Since Edge might get involved, and says that if he does, he and Christian will be stripped of the WWF Tag Team Championships as he and Stephanie will not put up with people interfering in other people's matches. Vince then takes the microphone and says he knows The Rock is excited about Backlash, and so is he. He also says that Shane is very excited about Backlash, as they will not have "an Earl Hebner situation" again with Shane as the special guest referee for the WWF Championship match at Backlash. He then says The Rock is "gutsy" for calling Triple H and the McMahons out, then brings up whether or not The Rock can trust "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at Backlash again before telling him not to trust anybody. The Rock then tells Vince that he has spoken with Austin, and says that Austin doesn't want to wait until Backlash and "guaran-damn-tees" Austin is going to make a special appearance tonight. Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 24, 2000

RAW

Before the next match, Kurt Angle shows up and says everyone wants to know why he is putting his quest for championship gold aside to focus on Big Show. He says that Big Show is "a big ass," and he does not like or appreciate big asses. He also announces that his opponent tonight is Rikishi, and says that if Rikishi's parents practice abstinence, everyone would not be exposed to the repulsive rectum that he carries today. Afterwards, it is announced on commentary that X-Pac will not be here tonight due to a loss in the family.

Rikishi Phatu beats Kurt Angle by disqualification after Angle shoves the referee into Rikishi. After the match, Big Show rusn in and hit Angle with a sidewalk slam, then Angle gets the Stinkface from Rikishi in the corner. Big Show then chases Kurt Angle to the back, then stares down with Rikishi before handing Rikishi his dancing glasses, giving him a high-five and heading to the back while Rikishi dances.

The DX Express is seen stopping outside in the parking lot, with Triple H and WWF co-owners Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley heading towards the arena.

Backstage, Trish Stratus has a message for Buh Buh Ray Dudley, saying there is just something about tables that drives her crazy. There are long ones, round ones, larger ones and smaller ones depending on what kind of company you have. However, the one thing they all have in common is that have to be hard.

Triple H and WWF co-owners Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley show up. Shane says that WWF Chairman Vince McMahon will be here shortly to grace all of the fans with his presence. In the meantime, he has something to say. He says that sometimes, he can be a bit of a hot-head, and he apologizes to Triple H for his actions from last week's Raw. Shane says that he now knows that Triple H loves the McMahon family as much as he does, and that he would never, ever Pedigree their mother - Triple H's mother-in-law - ever again. He says that Triple H is the best brother-in-law one could ever have and that he never had a big brother, then says "I love you, man!" and hugs Triple H, who hugs back. Stephanie says Triple H and Shane warm her heart, and says that she would like to apologize to all the fans if she has in any way hurt their feeling with her actions, because she can empathize and knows how it is like to have her feelings hurt. She says the fans only see one side of her and that she is a deeply caring soul, and she is extraordinarily sensitive. She says that when the fans call her a slut, she almost cries, and says it it extremely unfair for the fans to pass judgment without knowing the real her. After the three of them hug each other, Triple H says he could not agree with her more, and says the fans owe her a big apology as they know absolutely nothing about her. Triple H then apologizes to the fans, as it has been brought to his attention as of late that the fans have though he has been unfair in some of the business decisions that have been made in the WWF as of late, and asks if it was unfair of him to take Chris Jericho's big win and strike it from the record books so that it never took place. He also asks if it unfair for him to humiliate and fire ex-referee Earl Hebner on national television, as well as whether or not it was unfair to make The Rock compete in a Lumberjack Match so close to Backlash knowing that he will get his ass kicked before he gets his ass kicked again by him at Backlash. Triple H says he is not an unfair guy, and that if there is anything he is, it is fair. Before he can make a big announcement, however, Chris Jericho shows up. He says the only thing Triple H needs to apologize for is boring the Jerichoholics half to death, as week after week, he does these whiny, tedious interviews that nobody cares about, and pleads with Triple H to shut the hell up. As for being fair, he says that if Triple H wants to be fair, he should agree to give him a rematch for the WWF Championship tonight. Triple H doubts if he should reward Jericho for sticking his nose is business he does not belong in as well as for saying derogatory comments to his wife Stephaie, saying Stephanie is very sensitive and delicate. Jericho says Stephanie "lost her flower a long time ago," because there is no other way she could be a filthy, dirty disgusting, skanky, brutal, bottom-feeding trash bag ho in the first place. Shane says he is tired of him and The Rock disparaging Stephanie, and tonight, he and Triple H want to take him and The Rock on in a tag team match. Triple H says this is a good idea, and tells Jericho his request for a WWF Championship rematch tonight is denied, but he is in luck if he wants to get his ass kicked. As Triple H speaks, Stephanie is dangling the WWF Championship back and forth near the edge of the ring, and Jericho yanks it from her before heading to the back. This upsets Triple H, who goes after Jericho only to be smacked in the face by the title. Jericho drops the title and heads back up the ramp as Shane checks on Triple H while yelling at Jericho.

Backstage, Eddie Guerrero and Chyna try on outfits for a prom. Chyna is in a black dress, but Eddie is in a dark green jacket and a T-shirt with a tuxedo design printed on it, which Chyna says makes Eddie look like "a Gumby reject."

We see footage from during the commercial break where Chris Jericho is attacked by Chris Benoit from behind with the WWF Intercontinental Championship, telling him that the Intercontinental title is another championship that he is not going to get.

Edge and Christian guest on commentary for the next match.

Chris Benoit beats "Road Dogg" Jesse James. During the match, Tori shows up and briefly confronts Edge and Christian at the commentary table. Later on, Edge and Christian try to run in on the match, and while Tori stops Christian, distracting referee Jimmy Korderas in the process, Edge is able to get in the ring and hit Road Dogg with a Spear, almost getting caught in the process. Benoit then hits the top rope diving headbutt for the win. After the match, Edge and Christian double-team Road Dogg, and when Tori tries to grab Edge by the hair, Christian lays her out.

Backstage, Kurt Angle offers The Acolyte Protection Agency (Faarooq and Bradshaw) money to beat up Big Show, but Bradhsaw reminds him that they protect people for money, not beat each other money. Nevertheless, they are open to his offer. Angle says he has a lot of money in the locker room, and says he will be right back, but not before telling them to cut down on the swearing and the smoking as well as to add a nicer aesthetic to the office. This only raises the ire of the Acolytes, who throw beer cans at Angle and tell him to go away.

Backstage, Kurt Angle walks in on a conversation between The Big Boss Man, Bull Buchanan and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, and asks them for help with Big Show. This leads to Big Boss Man talking about how he gave Big Show a hard time when his father died last year and also gives Stephanie a good idea, and has Boss Man and Bull Buchanan in a two-on-one handicap match, which they accept.

The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) beat The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) after Crash Holly hits Jeff Hardy in the back in an Seanton Bomb attempt while the referee is telling Matt Hardy to get back in his corner. After the match, the Hardys attack Crash from behind and get him back in the ring, and while Crash is fighting back, Perry Saturn runs into the ring as this match becomes an imromptu match for the WWF Hardcore Championship. As Hardcore Holly slowly heads down the ramp not believing what he is seeing, Tazz hits him from behind and also gets involved. However, after a Swanton Bomb from Matt Hardy onto Crash, Matt Hardy wins the WWF Hardcore Championship. Matt Hardy runs away with the Hardcore Championship while Perry Saturn, Tazz and Hardcore Holly continue to fight one another at ringside.

Backstage, Eddie comes out in a red vest, tan boots and everything else in black. Meanwhile, Chyna is wearing a different black dress, and tells Eddie to try on the tuxedo she got him. Eddie tells Chyna that the dress she is currently wearing is the best, then Chyna decides to try on the red one.

Backstage, Trish Stratus - now wearing less than she was last time - tells Buh Buh Ray Dudley that upkeep is very important. She sprays wood polish on a table, as the look and feel of the table depends solely on the way one decides to rub it down after it has been used. The more you rub it, the better the wood starts to look.

Big Show beats The Big Boss Man and Bull Buchanan by disqualification after Kurt Angle runs in and hits Big Show with a low blow. After the match, Angle, Boss Man and Buchanan continue to attack Big Show, then The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) go after Boss Man and Buchana and chase them to the back. Big Show gets back up in the ring, and he is not in a good mood.

A black limousine pulls up, and WWF Chairman Vince McMahon comes out of it and heads towards the arena.

Backstage, Trish Stratus - who now appears to be wearing even less - tells Buh Buh Ray Dudley that the most important part of any table is its legs, and that table legs come in all different shapes and sizes. She then says the most important one is a center leg, for without it, you can't keep it up.

WAR ZONE

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up. Vince says last week, while he is in Europe, his family's actions in the ring were deplorable and reprehensible, and shows irritation at "Stone Cold" Steve Austin being in The Rock's corner at Backlash. He says that this announcement enraged the rest of the family, who then proceeded to become physically violent with each other. He asks if he is the only sane member of the McMahon family of it is all just in his imagination. Vince says Triple H may have convinced the rest of the family that he was only trying to scare WWF co-owner Linda McMahon, but he is not entirely convinced and tells him not to touch his wife ever again. As far as Triple H's tag team match goes, Triple H will have to find another partner as WWF co-owner Shane McMahon has been assigned new duties. If he cannot, it will be a two-on-one handicap match. Vince then focuses on Backlash and Steve Austin, and says nobody knows Austin better than he does, and says that if The Rock things Austin will lead him to the promised land of the WWF Championship, he should think again, as about a year ago, something happened between The Rock and Austin. We see footage from April 1999 where Austin fdestroyed The Rock's new Lincoln Continental, and says The Rock was not happy that night, as The Rock vowed that he would never drive his personal car to an arena again and he would get even with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and he eventually would seven months later. Vince then mentions that The Rock's car hit "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, putting Austin out of action for months. While The Rock was not driving the vehicle, The Rock was the one person that would benefit most by putting Austin on the shelf. With Austin gone, The Rock got on the highway to success that Vince and Austin paved, and Vince tells The Rock that when he thinks about Austin, he should be thinking thinking of three initials: "DTA," or "don't trust anybody." Vince then asks The Rock if he can trust Austin, or if Austin will be strike The Rock and drive the venom into The Rock's flesh. He then says that when Austin turns on The Rock, then and only then will it dawn on The Rock that Backlash is an appropriate name for this Sunday's pay-per-view.

Backstage, Chyna - in a red dress - and Eddie Guerrero - in a tuxedo - are dressed up for the prom. They then realize that Eddie has a match in ten minute, then they fool around behind the changing area.

D'Lo Brown and "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman beat Al Snow and The Godfather, the former dressed like The Godfather, as is Head. After the match, Al Snow wants the hos to dance with him, but The Godfather beats him up and tosses him out of the ring.

We lock back at September 1998, when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin rides a Coors Light zamboni to the ring and beats up WWF Chairman Vince McMahon only to get arrested by police.

Dusty Anderson, proprietor of Vinnie's Steakhouse in Raleigh, North Caorlina, is seen in the audience.

We hear from Trish Stratus yet again, as she lays seductively on top of a table as she says that lying on a table gets her excited. However, it is not the same without Buh Buh Ray Dudley, and if he plays his cards right at Backlash, there will be a table set for two from her to him.

Val Venis beats Eddie Guerrero. During the match, Essa Rios and Lita show up, and both of them brawl with Chyna on the outside while Val Venis goes for the Money Shot for the win. After the match, Essa Rios and Lita stomp away at Eddie until Chynag ets in the ring, and Lita narrowly escapes along with Essa Rios.

Edge and Christian beat The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley). During the match, T&A (Test and Albert) bring out Trish Stratus on a table, and when Buh Buh Ray sees Trish sitting seductively on the table, he is distracted, but not enough to cost The Dudley Boyz the match. Later on, however, Trish Stratus stands up and takes off her jacket, then starts dancing. Buh Buh Ray is mesmerized as D-Von Dudley is pinned for the three count. When he finds out that he and D-Von have lost, he is flabbergasted.

Backstage, Michael Cole interviews The Rock, who says that he is looking forward for tonight's match and that the countdown is on for Backlash. He tells WWF Chairman Vince McMahon that he may be right about "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and that Austin should not fully trust him, either. However, Vince can count on him and Austin being unified when it comes to not trusting him, and that if Austin had a problem with him, he would say it to his face. He also says that Vince implied that he had it easy, then says that WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley is "easy" and that he has never had it easy since he lost the WWF Championship. Since then, he has kicked, scratched and clawed his way back to where he is now and call himself "The People's Champion." The Rock then makes it clear he will beat Triple H and walk out of Backlash as WWF Champion.

As Triple H and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley leave the DX Express outside of the arena, Triple H demands that somebody had better have his back if tonight's main event is a two-on-one handicap match.

Before the next match, Triple H introduces his new tag team partner for this match: Chris Benoit. He then announces that WWF co-owner Shane McMahon will be the special guest referee for this match, replacing the original referee for this match. Triple H also introduces WWF Chairman Vince McMahon as the man who will be in his corner right now in addition to at Backlash.

Triple H and Chris Benoit beat Chris Jericho and The Rock. During the match, WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon "distracts" special guest referee Shane McMahon, and The Rock attacks him. WWF Chairman Vince McMahon goes after him and chases him out of the ring, then continues on with the match. When he goes for The People's Elbow, however, Vince kicks him in the groin from behind, allowing Triple H to hit The Rock with a Pedigree to get the win.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 3, 2000

RAW

WWF co-owner Shane McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. Shane publicly apologizes to his father, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, as he always revered and admired in the past. He says that what happened last night was Vince's greatest accomplishment, and he was so proud to be his son. He wants Vince to know that he will always love him very, very much, and it is because of that love that he wants to continue what Vince started last night at WrestleMania. Tonight, he would like to go one-on-one with The Rock, and asks The Rock if he is up for the challenge. Instead of The Rock, he gets Triple H and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley instead. Stephanie says she will never forget or forgive what The Rock did to her last night, as she is nowhere near the size of The Rock and The Rock deserved the slap she gave him, even though she did not deserve the Rock Bottom or The People's Elbow, as her neck, back and chest are so sore that she feels like she has been in a skiing accident. Stephanie says any normal woman would not be out here right now, and she appreciates Shane's anger towards The Rock. Triple H takes the microphone and tells Shane that he wants The Rock tonight. He also says the WWF Championship is not on the line as he has proven that The Rock is not in his league and cannot beat him, then says it is a personal issue and that he will hurt him for hurting his wife. After Triple H asks The Rock if he is man enough to accept his challenge, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up and hugs Stephanie before shaking hands with Triple H. Shane then extends his hand, then he and Vince embrace. Vince addresses both Triple H and Shane wanting a piece of The Rock tonight, and says that neither scenario is not the match he had in mind; instead, he wants a piece of The Rock. Vince also says he is not inclined to explain why he "scrambled The Rock's brains" at WrestleMania, as The Rock has a lot in common with the Los Angeles, California fans, as the vast majority of the fans are "vain, egocentric and narcissistic" and have "fake hair, fake teeth and fake boobs" and have undergone liposuction, face lifts and tummy tucks, and says they are not real human beings; instead, they are a bunch of phonies. When the fans start an "asshole" chants, Vince says he hopes the producers have the bleep button ready because he has never been called an asshole by so many people in his life. He then says that the fans are worse than those in the entertainment business, because they are bottom-feeders who want to be part of it. Vince then says the people's dreams of being a star are destined to be shattered over and over again just like The Rock's dream of being WWF Champion, as The Rock has no chance in Hell of winning it again just like the fans have of becoming stars. He then says that regardless of who faces The Rock, they will try not just to beat The Rock but to drive him out of the WWF and into a more suitable profession: waiting tables.

The Rock is seen making his way into the arena.

Before the next match, Eddie Guerrero says Chyna is here for some "Latino heat," because she was coming out of her pants at the sight of him. He then says he has to set her aside tonight to focus on the WWF EUropean Championship and make all his ancestors in Spain proud. He then dedicates his European Championship match to Chyna.

Eddie Guerrero beats Chris Jericho to become the WWF European Champion! During the match, Eddie Guerrero inadvertently knocks referee Tim White out of the ring following a drop toe hold by Chris Jericho, and Chyna has to revive Tim White before making the count herself. After Chyan declares Jericho the winner, she hits Jericho with a kick to the gut followed by a DDT and gets referee Tim White back into the ring to make the pinfall. After the match, Chyan personally hands the European title to Eddie, then heads to the back with him.

Backstage, WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley asks WWF Chairman Vince McMahon to allow Triple H take on The Rock tonight, saying it only seems right for Triple H to avenge what The Rock did to her, and tells Vince he does not have to protect her anymore. Vince says he will think about it

D-Generation X (X-Pac and "Road Dogg" Jesse James) beat T&A (Test and Albert) after Road Dogg hits a low blow behind referee Jimmy Korderas' back so that X-Pac can hit Albert with the X-Factor.

Backstage, Kurt Angle complains to ring announcer Howard Finkel about losing both the WWF European and Intercontinental Championship, but Finkel tells him rules are rules. Angle apologizes to Finkel and leaves, then turns around and chokes Finkel out with a crossface chicken wing.

Backstage, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon knows that WWF Chairman Vince McMahon has talked to WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley concerning who will face The Rock tonight. Vince tells Shane he will work something out, but Shane takes that as Vince letting him have a shot at The Rock tonight.

Chris Benoit retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Tazz. During the match< Perry Saturn tries to get involved, but Tazz pushes Benoit into the ropes, knocking Perry Saturn down from the top turnbuckle. Tazz fights off Saturn, but it ends up becoming a distraction that Benoit takes advantage of to win with a German suplex bridge pin. After the match, Tazz gets Saturn in the Tazzmission, but Benoit attacks Tazz to break the hold. Tazz catches up with Saturn and attacks him again, and this time their brawl goes to the back.

Backstage, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon talks with Big Show, who says that it is time to go Hollywood and become a superstar.

Michael Cole introduces Edge and Christian. Instead of coming out of the crowd, however, Edge and Christian come out from the back and down the aisle. Edge tells Michael Cole they can take it from here, and boot Michael Cole out of the ring. Edge says that last night, they became tag team champions in what is probably the most spectacular match of all time. Edge says they were great, but Christian says they were "really great." As Edge admits that as great as they are, they needed great opponents, and he brings out The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy), who show up. Christian asks the crowd to give The Hardy Boyz another round of applause, and Edge says The Hardys did a good job as Christian says there is no shame in being second best before mocking The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) while saying "or third best, for that matter." The Dudley Boyz show up, and as The Hardys look towards the back from the apron, Edge and Christian knock them off. The Dudleys then fight Edge and Christian, sending Edge out of the ring before hitting Christian with a Dudley Death Drop. The Hardys then get back in the ring and brawl with The Dudleys, and Edge and Christian run away while referees and officials have to break the brawl between The Hardys and The Dudleys up.

Backstage, Chyna and Eddie Guerrero are speaking Spanish to each other when they come across an orange low rider. Eddie helps Chyna in first, then he gets in the driver's seat and drives off after showing off the hydraulics.

WAR ZONE

Big Show beats Rikishi Phatu by disqualification after Grandmaster Sexay gets involved in the match. After the match, Scotty 2 Hotty does The Worm to make up for Big Show mocking it earlier in the match only to miss the elbow drop when Rikishi rolled out of the way. Afterwards, Big Show is seen taking a look at Rikishi and Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty) dance.

Backstage, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon meets with Triple H and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. He dictates taht whoever draws the short straw will get The Rock tonight. Shane ends up drawing the short straw. Afterwards, Vince says he wanted to face The Rock. Triple H says he wanted to, too, then says that you never let the guy holding the straws go second.

Big Show is in the ring again. He says that all of his life, people have told him about what an athlete he is, and that people have told him he is the biggest, baddest meanest competitor in the business today as well as a completely unstoppable monster, and they are right. He then says there is more to him than that, as he proved that he can be a talented, funny guy on Saturday Night Live. He then says there is much more to him than just headbutts and choke slams, as he sometimes feels like either fighting, relaxing or dancing. He says that he has received calls from parents saying that their children were too depressed to go to school today, and he odes not blame the children. He also says he does not know if the WWF will survive without him as "Eurocontinental Champion." ANgle says that in less than 24 hours, he has gone from holding to titles to being forced to wrestle a film star, which he calls "the lowest form of life there is." Since he cares about his body and does not want to taint himself, he is wearing rubber sanitary gloves. Val Venis then attacks Angle before he can get the gloves off, giving an early start to the next match.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for February 10, 2000

Before the next match, Kurt Angle says that even though he suplexed an 82-year-old pregnant woman, he is still a role model for children and the elderly. At the time, he thought Mae Young was "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry, and now he has decided to treat the fans and become the next WWF European Champion. He then acknowledges that he is in Texas, and that people in Austin, Texas do not know where Europe is. He blames it on the local education system, then promises that he will not only educate, but entertain the fans, when he wins the title.

Tim White does not see the foot on the bottom rope, however, and Saturn gets his first WWF win.

We see highlights from the public announcement of the XFL, which kicks off next year.

Edge and Christian beat The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) after Buh Buh Ray hurts one of his legs during a Samoan Drop and Edge hits D-Von with a top rope missile drop kick so that Christian can win it with the Sunset Flip Powerbomb. During the match, it is announced that Terri Runnels is physically healing but is still mentally distraught after being put through a table by The Dudley Boyz. After the match, Buh Buh Ray is helped onto a stretcher by EMTs, but he reveals that he is faking his injury and grabs B.B. He says Triple H will be going down and he will be going on to WrestleMania. Tonight may not be Hell In A Cell, but it will be hell to pay in Austin, Texas.

Before the next match, Chris Jericho welcomes everyone to "Austin Is Jericho," then says he has one arm tied behind his back because it makes no difference if one or both of his arms - or legs - are tied behind his back, and he will still roll down the ramp and "hit the 7-10 split and become the Ayatollah of Rock 'n Bowl-ah." He says that the result will be the same for The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) will remain the same: a beating that they will never, ever forget. When The Hollys head to the ring, it is announced that Hardcore Holly will star in "Operation Sandman: Warriors in Hell" tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central on UPN.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for January 10, 2000

RAW

The WWF locker room surrounds the ringside area - much to the confusion of Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler - then The Rock shows up. WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) are seen watching the broadcast from backstage, apparently having no idea what is going on, either. He explains that everyone surrounding him has asked him to be their spokesperson, and as unaccustomed to public speaking as he is, he has agreed. He calls out Triple H and Stephanie, and after a few minutes, they show up. Stephanie says she does not know what everyone is up to, but she is confident they can work something out. The Rock tells Stephanie to know her role and shut her mouth, then brings up the firing of Mick Foley aka Mankind. He says that Mick Foley is in the parking lot outside, and also mentions that the entire locker room is ready to walk out and join the "World Rock Federation" if they do not meet their demands. He demands that Mick Foley be reinstated immediately. Triple H tells The Rock that if he wants Mick Foley back, he's got it, but it was already in the works and that he and Stephanie were going to reinstate him, anyway. The Rock then mentions the matches he has been in lately, and says there is no way any matches like the Pink Slip On A Pole Match and the Handicap You're Fired Match will ever happen again. Stephanie says that seems fair, then The Rock acknowledges the "slut" chants directed towards Stephanie. Triple H says, "I thought they were talking to you, Rock." The Rock then demands that if anyone is fired, it will be for just cause only. Triple H says that this is fair, too, and as he says that he and Stephanie are all about fairness, Mankind's entrance plays, but Triple H lies in wait for him. Instead of coming out through the stage, however, Mankind shows up through the crowd. He acknowledges "the dozens of Mankind fans" who sent out their cards and letters, and thanks The Rock for not only the kind words about him in his new work, but sticking his neck out on the line in support of him. As far as the McMahon-Helmsley Era, he condemns them for ridiculing and mocking him and his family before proposing some suggestions of his own for Royal Rumble. He wants a match against Triple H at the event for the WWF Championship, with stipulations to be named at a later date. He tells Triple H to make up his mind and quickly, as over 50 men are about to walk out. Triple H tells Mankind he has his match with him at Royal Rumble, but before Mankind say more, The Rock takes the microphone. He says he will take it up himself to include himself in another match at Royal Rumble. As The People's Champion, he will throw his name into the hat for the 30-man Royal Rumble Match, and says he will take 29 other jabronis over the top rope to face Triple H or Mankind, whoever is champion. Mankind tells The Rock not to waste all his time on Royal Rumble, as they have 20,000 fans right now and they might as well come up with "a damn good show." Mankind proposes a match between "Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn to see who the tougher New Age Outlaw is, and if it is not booked, everyone will walk. Backstage, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn are not happy. He also has another idea: since Triple H told X-Pac he is just as good as Triple H last week on SmackDown, he also proposes a match between Triple H and X-Pac. X-Pac doesn't seem to be very happy, either. Triple H and Stephanie are about to leave, but The Rock tells them they are not done. He proposes one more match, should D-Generation X survive: DX vs. The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw). Triple H accepts the match, but The Rock says he is still not done. He also says that The Acoltyes will not be alone, as they will be teaming up him and Mankind.

During the break, Triple H and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley are confronted by the rest of D-Generation X (X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) for caving to The Rock and Mankind's demands.

"Road Dogg" Jesse James beats "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn after reversing the Fameasser into a pump handle slam. During the match, it is reported that there is a sign-up sheet backstage where the WWF locker room have signed on to to book their own matches. After the match, Billy Gunn refuses to shake Road Dogg's hand.

Mankind finds the fake Mankind and ties him up with another rope while daring him to be funny again.

Terri Runnels signs The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) up for a match.

Before the next match, Kurt Angle says he and the St. Louis Rams have a lot in common. They are both full of intensity, integirty and intelligence, but unlike the Rams, he beats people with winning records. He then questions why people would boo an Olympic champion,a nd cheer Rams quarterback Kurt Warner, "a former arena football player who happens to be on a lucky streak."

The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat Kurt Angle and "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman in their first match together since Matt's injry when Jeff hits Blackman from behind with a drop kick from the top rope as Blackman has a weapon in his hand, sending Blackman into a Twist f Fate by Matt.

Mankind tortures the fake Mankind into laughing with him.

Edge tells Christian that they have gotten the match that they wanted tonight.

Chris Jericho tells Chyna that she taught him a lesson last week, and that if they team up together, there is nobody they can beat. He asks Chyna to sign them up for a match. He also tries to take the Intercontinental title, but Chyna does not let him.

Before the next match, it is announced that Edge is engaged to Val Venis' sister, Alannah. Val Venis announces this, and tells Edge that he may have what it takes to win her hand in marriage, but he does not have half of what it takes to beat him for the WWF European Championship. When Edge and Christian show up, the orange lights and graphic show up around the arena again.

Val Venis retains the WWF European Championship against Edge. After the match, both men shake hands, then Edge tells Val Venis that he may have been the best man tonight, but he will not be the best man at his sister's wedding, because Christian will be. Both men continue to show respect.

X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn are seen arguing with one another in the locker room.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up. Triple H tells WWF Chairman Vince McMahon that all the warning were laid out, but Vince crossed the line and made it personal. He says it is Vince's fault that everything has escalated to what it all has become, and because of that, DX has a temporary order of protection against Vince which keeps him from coming within 50 feet of DX, which is all right with him as Vince cannot throw a rock or even see 50 feet. We see the footage of Vince running into DX's limousine with a Cadillac, and Triple H says they could have been seriously hurt but they were not, and Vince will be hurt at Armageddon when he beats him within an inch of his life without remorse. At Armageddon, Triple H says there will no retribution on him, and he will do what he wants to Vince and that is it. As for the wedding between Test and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon, he has bad news: there will be no wedding here tonight. WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up, and says that if Triple H thinks he needs protection from him, he is right, as there is nothing he will not do to protect his family. As for D-Generation X, their temporary order of protection won't do Triple H any good at Armageddon, and he will have some of Triple H's blood on his hands. He says that after Armageddon, it will be "game over." He then decides to keep DX busy by giving Test a wedding present in the form of Triple H vs. Test in a one-on-one match and X-Pac, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn in a six-man tag team match against Mankind, The Rock and a partner of their choosing. Also, if DX or anybody interferes in the wedding and they are employed by the WWF, they will be fired tonight.

Edge beats Matt Hardy.

We see footage from WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon's bachelorette party in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Chyna shows up. He says Chris Jericho would not believe how much her thumb felt after she whacked him with the hammer, and the only reason why she did not press charges on him is because she wants to make Jericho suffer and cry in front of her like a whiny baby. She then dares Jericho to get in the ring with her right now, as she can probably beat him with one hand, anyway. Jericho shows up and says that if Chyna wants to challenge him, he would like to beat her "flabby Jell-o ass," but says he can't due to Chyna hitting him with the hammer and giving him a concussion. Jericho then says after some intense physical therapy - and much embellishment - he will face her at Armageddon for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Chyna tells Jericho to chill out, but Jericho tells her to chill out. Miss Kitty shows up with a fire extinguisher, and Chyna says that if Jericho won't chill out, then maybe Miss Kitty can help. Miss Kitty sprays Jericho with the fire extinguisher.

Before the next match, Hardcore Holly tells Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty) that they are not super heavyweights and that he and Crash Holly are the only super heavyweights around here. As for Rikishi Fatu, Hardcore says he has enough of an ass to make a total eclipse of the sun and that he will be Santa Claus after enough seconds and thirds at the dinner table. After Hardcore makes fun of the appearance of his ass (saying it has more dimples than a gold ball), Rikishi punches Crash before punching Hardcore and rolling him into the ring.

WAR ZONE

A man in a Vince McMahon mask is the special guest referee for the next match.

Test beats Triple H. Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco are seen watching the match from backstage, asking WWF Chairman Vince McMahon to come see the referee in the Vince McMahon mask. At one point in the match, the masked referee smacks Test in the face to snap him out of a choke hold. He also stops Triple H from using a steel chair, then refuses to count a pinfall attempt by Triple H shortly afterwards. This leads Triple H to punch the ref and try to rip the mask off, but WWF co-owner Shane McMahon shows up, grabs the chair and hits Triple H in the back of the head with a steel chair. Test then hits the top rope elbow drop for the win after a fast count.

At WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon's bachelorette party, Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah return, and everyone wonders where "Carlos The Electriciain" is. Stephanie is then offered one more drink, and she downs it.

Triple H is in the locker room with police officers, telling them to get WWF Chairman Vince McMahon and have him arrested for violating a temporary order of protection, as he believes that the man in the Vince McMahon mask is in fact Vince McMahon.

Michael Cole interviews Barbara Bush, the EMT from SmackDown whose shirt was ripped off by Ivory after the Gravy Bowl Match. Barbara - whose friends call her "B.B." - calls the experience humiliating, and she is challenging Ivory to an Evening Gown Match. Suddenly, Ivory shows up, and tells her she is a pretty girl but is not too bright, and says "B.B." is short for "blonde bimbo," "big boobs," and "bird brain." She thinks B.B. is trying to make friends with all the perverts in the audience, and the crowd cheers when Ivory asks the crowd if they want to see her naked. Ivory then proposes having the match right now, then takes off her coat and proceeds to have a catfight with B.B. Once again, B.B.'s bust is exposed as another referee has to get Ivory out of the ring.

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon talks to the police officers, saying that Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco have alibis that put him in the bathroom at the time of the offense.

We see the bridesmaids - and WWF co-owner Linda McMahon - getting ready for the wedding.

Before the next match, Val Venis says "The Big Valbowski" and Shaquille O'Neal have a lot in common: they both carry intimidating size, but while Shaq may be a little shaky from the outside, "The Big Valbowski's" "bald-headed slam dunker" scores every single time. Kurt Angle then shows up and says Los Angeles, California lacks integrity and moral values, and he finds it amazing that the fans would rather cheer for a porn star over him. Venis then beats him up, starting the next match.

Kurt Angle beats Val Venis. During the match, The British Bulldog shows up and trips Val Venis on the top rope as Kurt Angle has referee Teddy Long pre-occupied, and this allows Angle to hit a superplex for a near-fall. Val Venis then fights The British Bulldog at ringside, and Angle hits Venis from behind before rolling him back into the ring. The Bulldog then grabs a steel chair, and as Teddy Long gets Angle away from Venis, Bulldog smacks the chair into Venis' back.

The men of the wedding - including The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy), D'Lo Brown, and Edge - are seen getting ready.

Al Snow mentions how much he hates The Rock, and he does it in front of The Rock unintentionally. The Rock catches Al Snow out, then asks Al Snow to put a dirty jack and a hockey mask on his face, then take a hockey stick and stick it straight up his candy ass. It becomes obvious that Al Snow is not his and Mankind's tag team partner.

Armageddon is coming live to pay-per-view on December 12th!

Before the next match, Kane suddenly shows up. When Mankind shows up, it is made apparent that Kane is Mankind and The Rock's partner.

D-Generation X (X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) beats Mankind, The Rock and Kane by disqualification. During the match, Al Snow is seen backstage telling Head that Mankind needs him, and takes Head with to the ring. He attacks DX with Head, which gets The Rock disqualified. The Rock does not take kindly to that and hits Al Snow with a Rock Bottom and The People's Elbow after the match.

The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) are still playing poker with The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw). Though they can barely get along, they laugh at the fact that The Acolytes ran Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) out of the WWF.

The bridesmaids are seen getting ready just before the event. They also get a peek at WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon's bridal gown, but we do not.

The best men are seen talking in the locker room.

Buh Buh Ray goes all in and has six aces. When he takes the whole pot back, The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) and The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) brawl. Referees and officials run into the ring to restore order.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn") are seen laughing among each other.

It is time for the wedding. Amanda Case is escorted by Edge; Lisa Fox and Matty Jenny are escorted by Shawn Stasiak; Jen Jenny is escorted by Christian; Mandy Van Dam is escorted by D'Lo Brown; Corey Seaberry is escorted by Jeff Hardy; Kristin Soto is escorted by Matt Hardy; The Fabulous Moolah is escorted by Gerald Brisco; Mae Young is escorted by Pat Patterson; and matron of honor Linda McMahon is escorted by Shane McMahon. Test then shows up, then Stephanie McMahon is escorted by Vince McMahon. After a wedding song is played, both Test and are about to Stephanie exchange their vows when Triple H shows up. Triple H says that he knows that he is not invited, but shows him a video on the TitanTron and leaves. We see a video of Triple H in his car in Las Vegas, Nevada. He heads to "A Little White Wedding Chapel," where Joan Collins and Michael Jordan got married. We get a look at the Tunnel of Love, then Triple H goes through the wedding ceremony with Stephanie McMahon, who is unconscious. He has everything ready and pays for the wedding ceremony, and goes straight throw the vow exchanges even though Stephanie cannot consent to any of this. Triple H and Stephanie are now legally married. We find out that the bartender from the bachelorette party was in on this as he attaches something to the antennae on the front of Triple H's car, then Triple H says to the handheld camera held by the bartender telling everyone to get a nice shot of the brand-new Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Triple H then speeds off. Stephanie feels violated, then Triple H shows up again and says that as a member of the immediate family, he knows that Vince can only have one question on his mind: how many times did they consummate the marriage. Stephanie tells Triple H she hates him as Vince consoles her.
