Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for March 21, 1999

The Corporation (The Rock, Big Boss Man, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Test, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco) shows up to start tonight's show. The Rock says that WWF owner Vince McMahon is not here, but he is, and that the WWF Championship is symbolic of being "The Great One;" therefore, he calls all the shots tonight. He then says there has been a lot of questioning about him, then mouths off at Patterson and Brisco for saying he has paranoia towards Big Show, threatening to end Test's career, telling Shamrock he has beaten him "from January to January" and accusing The Big Boss Man of wanting to be him before telling him he cannot do it. The Big Boss Man tells The Rock to be paranoid on his own time, not his, for his time is hard time and he is very close to crossing the line with him. The Rock takes this as a challenge, and threatens to not only cross that line, but he will shove his nightstick up his rectum. Everyone else in The Corporation has to keep The Big Boss Man away from The Rock, much to the chagrin of Shane McMahon, who is on commentary.

Backstage, Al Snow tells Head they do not have a nicer ass than "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, and that they do not even have an ass at all.

Backstage, Shane McMahon talks with The Rock, who says he is not paranoid and that he is the smartest man walking. He tells Shane to handle his own affairs while he takes care of his own in his own way, much to Shane's chagrin.

Hardcore Holly guests on commentary for the next match.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against Al Snow after Hardcore Holly hits Al Snow with a steel chair.

Backstage, The Rock admires a painting of himself when Test shows up. Test tells The Rock that The Big Boss Man is in a foul mood and that he should not take him on, but The Rock refuses to listen to him.

Backstage, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock tells The Big Boss Man that his match against The Rock tonight is a bad idea, but Boss Man says it was not a good idea to get in his face, and that he should be paranoid on his own time, not his, because his time is hard time.

We see a video package of X-Pac chronicling his time in WWE since he returned after WrestleMania 14 as well as his current opinions on Chyna (he has no idea where her head is at after joining The Corporation) and Shane McMahon (saying that he is not a wrestler and that he is going to hurt him).

We see a vignette of Rodney and Willie Green of The Mean Street Posse talking about how tough they and Shane McMahon are and how nobody are.

"The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock vs. "Road Dogg" Jesse James for the WWF Intercontinental Championship ends after Val Venis gets involved in the match. "Road Dogg" Jesse James retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Val Venis brawls with Road Dogg while Goldust shows up and brawls with Ken Shamrock. Referees have to break the brawls up as Goldust and The Blue Meanie take Shamrock to the back.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams quickly beats The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

A limousine pulls up outside of the arena.

"Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats The Godfather.

Big Show is seen exiting the limousine and entering the arena.

Before the next match, it is announced that Mankind, Sable, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock are on the four collectible covers of this week's TV Guide, now available everywhere.

. During the match, the lights go out and The Undertaker's music hits, and when the lights go out , The Ministry of Darkness attcks The Big Boss Man. The Rock leaves with the WWF Championship, but he runs into The Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Big Show walks up the ramp to stand with The Rock, much to The Rock's chagrin, and the show ends.
