The show starts with a black-and-white vignette of David Flair checking into a hotel. He is meet at the desk by Deniece Robinson, the woman whom Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash asked to seduce David. As he signs in, she introduces herself to him, and follows him outside as he gets the rest of his bags.

We see footage from earlier today of an interview with Ernest "The Cat" Miller, who once again plays himself up as he dances like James Brown. He says that he wants to beat a top guy, but WCW just throws chumps at him to hold him back. He also says that he has beaten Jerry Flynn twice, and that Jerry Flynn will not take his position as "the greatest."
Meng beats Jerry Flynn with the Tongan Death Grip. (Compared to last week's episode, it took eight minutes - not counting commercials - to grom from the start of tonight's episode to the first match of the night.)

Riki Rachtman interviews Raven during the Nitro Party. Raven says he should have seen Chastity turning on him, as he gave her and Hak jobs in WCW and set her hair on fire when she was six years old. He says family functions suck and that he only goes to them for the money and to sit at the kids table. He says that if Chastity thought Dutch ovens were bad, imagine what he is going to do to her and Hak. He will crush both of them like Jerry Falwell in one of Saturn's bondage balls.
Rick Steiner beats "Gentleman" Chris Adams.
Mike Tenay plugs the WCW Hotline with his weekly report, which this week includes information on the return of a major WCW star.
Disco Inferno shows up. When he does, the nWo Wolfpac theme ends as quickly as it begins. Disco heads to the commentary table and complains about this as well as the fact that there are no music videos for him and that Konnan's music video is being played again. He asks commentary not to play the music video out of respect for him and the fact that he has no music video. They play it anyway, but then a black-and-white Disco Inferno is seen in front of the video anyway, singing over the music. After the music video plays, Disco has the last laugh.
We see security camera footage - again in black-and-white - of David Flair and Deniece in the hotel room as Torrie Wilson and Kevin Nash watch. David refuses Deniece's advances, and knows that she is seducing him. The plan fails, and Torrie wants to know what kind of plan Nash has, after saying what happened was "sweet." Nash reminds Torrie that "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair now has the World title, and asks Torrie if he is in love with David, and says that Deniece is not only getting the $20,000, he is not even giving her cab fare home. Nash also tells Torrie she owes her as they argue over who got David into the nWo. Torrie asks for Nash's next plan. Nash tells her to give him five minutes.

A white limousine is seen pulling into the arena, and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson comes out along with a few women. and WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. The WCW World Heavyweight Championship no longer has "nWo" spray painted in red on the center plate. Referee Charles Robinson, the referee from last night's World title match, is allowed to walk with them by Anderson as everyone makes their way to the ring. "Mean" Gene Okerlund then interviews Flair in the ring. Anderson says that Okerlund should be congratulating Flair for winning the World title instead of questioning how he won, and stands up for Charles Robinson, saying he called the match like a professional. Okerlund asks Robinson about the three count, and Robinson says Flair should be owed a great deal of gratitude; nevertheless, that did not influence his decision during the match, as "his boss" Flair signed him for the match and asked him to use discretion. He says that Hogan's wounds were superficial while Hogan was badly hurt and a badly beaten man. Robinson says he owed it to Flair and his family to end the match before Flair got hurt any further, and that he did what he thought was right. Flair says that tonight, of all night, they will all pretend like the wrestling business is starting all over again, as he is now the 14-time World champion and the most powerful person in professional wrestling as he is the president of the greatest wrestling organization in the world. As Flair continues to speak, Goldberg shows up. Flair asks Goldberg if he wants to congratulate him on being World champion or being president for life. Goldberg says the way he sees it, he had him begging and pleading for his life last week, and that he is looking at the #1 contender. He wants a title shot tonight, but before Flair can make a decision, Kevin Nash shows up and says that if anyone around here is #1 contender for the World title, it is him, and that Flair robbed Hollywood Hogan of the belt last night before reminding Goldberg he gave him his first loss. Anderson says this conversation would not be happening is he and Flair were in the mix, but Goldberg tells Anderson to keep his mouth shut if he doesn't want to get Speared. Hollywood Hogan shows up, says he sees things the way Nash does, and says he got stabbed the back and had Flair pinned as he was bleeding like a hog. Flair tells Nash, Hogan and Goldberg to talk it out while he, Anderson and the woman all go to a party, but Hogan shows up and asks Flair if he got all the women he has with him with an American Express card. Hogan says he is all geared up and ready to go, but he won't be able to get his hands on him unless Nash slaps Goldberg around a little bit. The way he sees it, he and Nash have somethingL they want a piece of Flair, as does Goldberg. Flair says he is going downtown with the women, because he is the president, but Nash asks Flair if he has the guts as he and Hogan will beat him and Goldberg up all night long. Flair goes up to Goldberg and pokes him in the chest, and Goldberg shoves him down. Goldberg then says if he has to be Flair's partner to get the World title back, so be it. After Goldberg leaves, Flair makes the tag match official for later tonight.

Stevie Ray tells Disco to tell Hollywood that if he is blowing smoke up his ass, he does not like it. When Horace gets up, he says he wants Stevie Ray in the ring tonight.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko. Benoit says there is no greater feeling than that of being number one, and after the adversity and injustice they want through in the tag team title tournament, the tag titles are a testament to how much he trust Malenko and does not want anyone else as a tag team partner. Malenko says last night was a great night for The Four Horsemen, especially for himself. He says this is the end result of teamwork and team effort, and has led to a team victory. They are not tired, and they are ready for tonight's tag team title defense.
The Four Horsemen ("The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko) retain the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Hugh Morrus and The Barbarian after The Barbarian boots Hugh Morrus in the face and Benoit hits the top rope diving headbutt on Morrus.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Scott Steiner bashes the crowd again, saying that looking at them is proof that nobody lives in a perfect world and that he is a genetic freak. He then says the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds suck, and that he is the greatest athlete in Cincinnati, Ohio right now. He then asks the "hooches" who want to be with a real man that he will give them satisfaction. He then says the nWo are the greatest athletes in body and mind today, but last night, somebody made a mental error, and that person is Buff Bagwell. Since his neck injury, he taught him how to train his body, but he has not changed his brain as he not only cost him, he cost the nWo. He then says that ever since he broke his neck, he has not been the same, and does not belong in the nWo anymore. Buff takes a microphone and says that since they are getting stuff off their chest, he tells Scott Steiner to look at the Buff Bagwell signs in the crowd. Scott Steiner says he does not care about the fans, unlike Buff. Buff tells him he has made him look like a million dollars for the last three months, but ever since he got back in shape, Scott Steiner might be just a little bit jealous. Scott says that as good as he looks, Buff will always be second-best compared to him. Buff says this is getting out of hand, and while Scott may be Big Poppa Pump, he is not buff or "the stuff." Scott Steiner says Buff was nothing before the nWo, and if he is kicked out, he will be nothing again. Buff says he told him he was sorry last night and is still sorry now, and if Scott has a problem with him, he needs to know right now. Scott and Buff shake hands and hug, then Scott hits Buff with a belly-to-belly suplex beofre getting out of the ring, grabbing a steel chair and smacking it into the back of Buff's neck before putting him in the Steiner Recliner. He then tells Buff that he and all his fans suck before leaving the ring.
Stevie Ray beats Horace Hogan. During the match, Vincent shows up with a steel chair and stands on the apron, and as he holds it up while arguing with referee Scott Dickinson, Stevie Ray whips Horace into a chair that was meant originally for him to get the win.
