The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) beat The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn). When Animal and Hawk hit Henry with the Doomsday Device, Henry accidentally lands on his head. (It is later revealed that he suffered a cracked C7 vertebra.) After the match, Henry is very upset about the loss, while Hillbilly Jim and Phineas are in better spirits.
Goldust beats Mike Bell. Before the match, it is announced that Henry O. Godwinn has been hospitalized, complaining of neck pains. It is also mentioned that Henry O. Godwinn may also have a head injury. During the match, we see pre-recorded comments from Hunter Hearst Helmsley, who says that this Monday night on Raw, Goldust has set the stage for his destruction and it will be face-to-face and head-on. Helmsley says Goldust and the audience that night will never forget the name of Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
Before the next match, Kevin Kelly tries to interview Mankind, but Mankind scares him away with a lighter as he takes the microphone away from him. Kevin Kelly wisely makes his way backstage, and Mankind says some very bad things are going to happen very soon. He wants to make sure the people are aware of why they will happen. All of his life, only one man has ever believed in him and trusted him, and The Undertaker tried to take him away. Mankind says he loved "Uncle Paul," and he knows he is taught to forgive and forget, but every time he thinks of Paul Bearer's face melting in his hands, he finds it hard to forget. He tells The Undertaker to remember that somewhere, sometime, he will learn about loss. But first, Sycho Sid has a lesson to learn. He asks some kids in the front row if they go to school, and if school teaches them about history. He then says if you take Lewis and Clark and sent them on another expedition, and threw in Ferdinand Magellan and Christopher Columbus, they still wouldn't be able to locate Sycho Sid's courage because he has none. He was supposed to wrestle Sid weeks ago, but he had an injury. He says he did not feel good when The Undertaker put him through a table, as he was dying inside but did not miss a match. If he bailed out every time he had an injury, he wouldn't be in many matches. He then gets on his knees and begs Sycho Sid to find a spine before calling him a gutless worm, as he has a big surprise for him on May 11th. Next week, for "all the low-life losers," he's got the biggest surprise of all. He tells the fans to think about that and try to have a nice day.
Vader is back in the United States of America after being jailed in Kuwait for 11 days, thanks to the efforts of U.S. officials. In a press conference Friday morning in New York City, Vader says he apologizes to no one and for nothing. He was stripped of his liberty and freedom, inundated by death threats and had 24-hour security. He says it all comes down to simple extortion, as the integrity of the man who interviewed him was worth $25,000 in two hours, and was worth $400,000+ the next morning. He says they wanted ratings, and they got the highest ratings they have had in the last couple of years.
The Nation of Domination (Crush, D'Lo Brown, Savio Vega) beat Freddie Joe Floyd, Steve Corino and "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya. Faarooq whips Steve Corino with his leather strap after the match.
Flash Funk beats Nick Barbury. Before the match, it is announced that Henry O. Godwinn suffered a cracked vertebra and that his neck is broken, and that he will be out for some time.

Owen Hart and The British Bulldog beat Barry Horowitz and Bob "Spark Plug" Holly.
A picture of a bloodied Vader on the cover and hot photos of Sable can be seen in the newest issue of Raw Magazine, available on newsstands this Tuesday.
Kevin Kelly interviews The Honky Tonk Man in the ring. Honky says that when someone like "Double J" Jesse Jackson takes his prized Gibson guitar and breaks it, it hurts him real bad. He says that the things have been happening in the WWF are hurting him real bad, but he has a boxcar load of shiny new guitars and he can promise everyone that on April 20th at In Your House, he will have his man there, and he can promise everyone that the hits are just going to keep on coming. He says that all you have to do is line them up, and he and his protege will knock them down, as he has "the rockin' pneumonia and the boogie woogie flu" and his man will shake, rattle and roll.
Bart Gunn vs. Leif Cassidy ends in a no-contest when Mankind runs into the ring and applies the Mandible Claw to Bart Gunn. Just before this, Brian Pillman leaves the commentary to agitate Bart Gunn and Leif Cassidy but is unsuccessful.

Sunny says the hottest thing going in the WWF is the reconciliation of The British Bulldog, Owen Hart and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and that these three men want nothing more than to monopolize the championship gold of the WWF. They already have the European and tag team gold, but Bret plans on taking his frustrations out on Rocky Maivia and win the Intercontinental Championship for the third time. She also says that "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock is fair game for all the WWF Superstars after his actions at WrestleMania 13, but that it may be a "Beast" and not a Superstar that may beat Shamrock at his own game. Sunny then recaps Mankind burning The Undertaker with a fireball, and asks if The Undertaker could be horribly disfigured after his face was not seen during a recent interview. She also wants to know what is going on with Jim Cornetete, who is keeping a low profile after splitting with Owen Hart and The British Bulldog and trying to manage another tag team. She says that if Jim Cornette can't take Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon to the top of the tag team division, then she will be back and ringside and taking them to the tag team titles herself.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 25, 1996
Bret "The Hit Man' Hart beats Owen Hart by disqualification after he is hit in the back with a steel chair by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin places Bret's leg in a steel chair and is about to injure it when The British Bulldog shows up and suddenly removes the chair from Bret's leg. Owen and Austin want to injure him, but British Bulldog tells him to stop it. Austin grabs the chair and smashes it into the back of the Bulldog, and Owen Hart gets mad at Austin, who simply leaves.
Paul Bearer tells tells Freddie Joe Floyd that he won't survive The Executioner in pre-recorded comments from earlier today.
The Executioner beats Freddie Joe Floyd with the Asian Spike. During the match, Dok Hendrix reports that Owen Hart and The British Bulldog are arguing with one another, and that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin blew off an interview with some coarse language. He hopes to get an interview with Bret "The Hit Man" hart later on.
Vince McMahon interviews Jose Lothario and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels via satellite in San Antonio, Texas. Lothario apologizes to everyone including Shawn, feeling he is directly responsible for Shawn losing the WWF Championship. He says that the doctors will put a balloon pass through his heart as his heart was badly damaged at Survivor Series. Shawn says he is far from over the hill, but he has lost his edge over the last few months, and there are no excuses and that what's done is done. He says that he will be WWF Champion once again. When Jerry "The King" Lawler lambasts Lothario, Shawn tells Lawler that Lothario has been in the game for 30 years as a response to Sycho Sid "being in the game" can stick his nose "wherever he damn well pleases". He tells Sid that he crossed a line, and that if he could beat him skill for skill and match his ability, he would have enough respect for him to shake his hand, but he did not do that. Shawn makes it clear that he wants to get his hands on Sid and tear him apart in San Antonio, and that he doesn't care where he faces Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. He says he has always wanted the WWF fans to enjoy themselves, but he is focused on becoming WWF Champion again and that he will not beg to anybody or anyone anytime. He wants to be champion because he wants to be and because people believe in him, and that he will take more risks than ever as it is what got him to the top in the first place, and if someone wants to stop him, they can try. He says "no more Mr. Nice Guy," and he can play as dirty as anyone else. He promises to become WWF Champion again in his hometown of San Antonio, whether it be Hart or Sid, though he prefers Sid.

Sunny beats Sable in the semi-finals of the Karate Fighters Holiday Tournament, but it is revealed that Sunny has used bubble gum to keep Cyberfist from being knocked off, allowing Sunny to get the win by disqualification. Sunny punches the referee in response.
We hear from "Captain" Lou Albano and Don Muraco, saying that Rocky Maivia has plenty of potential and that he has the potential to be bigger than the Maivia family. Also, Dok Hendrix says that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart has a major obstacle in the quest to be WWF Champion, and that is "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. As long as Hart and Austin are in the World Wrestling Federation, it will never be over.
Rocky Maivia beats Salvatore Sincere.
"Wildman" Marc Mero says he has some unfinished business with Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and that it will be hard to concentrate with him on the commentary table. He says that Helmsley had better not leave the commentary table, or else he'll make the biggest mistake of his life as he will hit him right in "that big nose of his" after he's done with Billy Gunn.
Dok Hendrix says that Owen Hart and The British Bulldog are on the same page, and that Bulldog has said on no uncertain terms that he is going to get a piece of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

He knows Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is in the building, after he's through with Bob "Spark Plug" Holly, he'll put Bret in the Sharpshooter as they don't have to wait six days until their match at Madison Square Garden.
Owen Hart and The British Bulldog retain the WWF Tag Team Championships against "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels after Shawn accidentally hits Sid with Sweet Chin Music. Shawn is knocked out cold next to Sid by Owen and Bulldog after the match.

Confirmed for Survivor Series is a Traditional 4-on-4 Survivor Series match: the team of Faarooq, Vader, "Diesel," "Razor Ramon) vs. the team of Savio Vega, Yokozuna, the debuting Flash Funk and a mystery partner, who is rumored to be a big-time superstar. There is also another 4-on-4 match in that vein: The team of The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn), Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon vs the team of Owen Hart, The British Bulldog and The New Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy).

Mankind beats Freddie Joe Floyd with the Mandible Claw. The Undertaker's theme plays as the cage with the upside-down effigy of Paul Bearer descends from the ceiling. The Undertaker decrees that a new era of darkness begins Sunday, and all that there to expect is the unexpected. He tells Paul Bearer this is only the beginning of his torture and torment, and that he, Mankind and The Executioner will never rest in peace.
Killer Kowalski and The Valiant Brothers ("Handsome" Jimmy and "Luscious" Johnny Valiant) are official inductees into the 1996 WWE Hall of Fame Class.
We get our first look at the soon-to-debut Rocky Maivia, the WWF's first-ever third-generation Superstar. We also see him induct his father Rocky Johnson into the Cauliflower Alley Club. The Rock says he wants to make his own name in the WWF by getting by on his wrestling style and ability, not his family name. Five years from now, we wants to tell himself he gave 110% effort at everything he did and became the best at it.

He tells Hart that pleasing so many people will get him in trouble. He tells Bret he'd better keep watching, as he'll eventually find him and that they won't have to wait until Survivior Series.

He wants Sid's respect, and if he has to beat it out of him, he'll do it.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin then approaches Bret Hart's locker room only to say that he's not going to beat Hart up for free, before saying that someone is stealing his lines and that this is indeed the match of the decade (a shot at WCW for calling "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper" the match of the decade). He tells Hart it wil be the end of his legend in one week.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin tells "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels that he is going to whip his ass.
It is revealed that Vince McMahon will be returning to Raw next week.
Sycho Sid shows up and distracts Vader during his match with Phineas I. Godwinn, saying he's from Arkansas, too. After Phineas hits a belly-to-back suplex on Vader, Sid leaves. Nevertheless, Vader beats Phineas I. Godwinn.
Jim Ross interviews Mr. Perfect in the ring. He says that there is only one Mr. Perfect in the WWF, and we're all looking at him. He says he never backs up for anything or complains or turns down a challenge, and says he will get the job done against Hunter Hearst Helmsley next week. He has been waiting a long time to come back into the ring, and proclaims that he is the greatest Intercontinental Champion and athlete the WWF has ever produced, and he plans to prove it.
The WWF's Big Bang Boom Tour is heading to Indianapolis, Indiana; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Cinncinati, Ohio; Evansville, Indiana; Springfield, Illinois; Chicago, Illinois; St. Louis, Missouri and Cape Girardeau, Missouri!

Jake "The Snake" Roberts shows up with a bag with the snake in one hand and a bottle in a paper bag in the other, revealing that Roberts is drunk. WWF President Gorilla Monsoon shows up and checks on Roberts, and we find out it's all a set-up. After the break, Jake "The Snake" Roberts beats Jerry "The King" Lawler with a single DDT, then grabs the bottle of Jim Beam in the paper bag and pours it on Lawler's face before he sics Revelations on him.
"The Real Double J" Jesse James says that after Jeff Jarrett lost the Intercontinental Championship, Jarrett gave him the opportunity to go with him or stay in the WWF. He also says that "Double J" Jeff Jarrett boasted that he could pluck him out of obscurity and take him around the world, but he knows now that Jarrett took him from nowhere and left him nowhere. He and Jim Johnston now plan to re-release "With My Baby Tonight" on a brand-new album, and there is now talk of a duet with a major country star. Next week, Jesse James will talk about an experience he had in Operation Desert Storm.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley handcuffs his ring escort to the turnbuckle before the next match to keep Mr. Perfect from walking to the back with her. When Mr. Perfect shows up and Hunter Hearst Helmsley notices him, Mr. Perfect produces a key from underneath the cuff link of his coat, unlocks the handcuffs and hands the key back to a nearby security guard. Helmsley notices Mr. Perfect walk away with his escort, and when he chases after Perfect, Perfect punches him in the face and knocks him out. Freddie Joe Floyd beats Hunter Hearst Helmsley by count-out.

The rain has stopped, but The Undertaker says that this is only the calm before the real storm. He tells Mankind that he grew stronger and evil the more he evaded his grasp, and now he must be his judge, jury and executioner, and if it takes destroying The Undertaker to destroy Mankind, then so be it. He then tells Mankind to imagine what it will be like when he is buried alive and unable to rest in peace.
Vader and Jim Cornette are watching the main event from backstage. Jim Cornette says what he sees does not impress him, and he and Vader plan to be in the title hunt again after Survivor Series. He tells Sycho Sid it's his bad luck to be in their way, and that nobody will keep Vader from the WWF Championship.
Sycho Sid tells Vader that he plans to lift him seven feet in the air and drop him to the mat at In Your House: Buried Alive. He apologizes to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, as he will have to face him at Survivor Series.
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin ends when Vader interferes. Savio Vega shows up to even the numbers game, but eats a Stone Cold Stunner from Austin. Austin and Vader continue to attack Shawn before Sycho Sid gets in the ring and forces Vader to retreat. "Diesel" and "Razor Ramon" show up from behind Vader and watch from the entrance ramp as Sid and Shawn argue, and leave when Austin and Vader get back in the ring only to be forced back out by Sid and Shawn, who then celebrate at the end of the show.

As Sunny brags about what Faarooq will do in the semi-finals, Sycho Sid shows up and stares down with Faarooq, but officials keep both men from going at it with one another.
Carlos Sabrera from the Spanish commentary table interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Jose Lothario in the ring. Michaels says that he has single-handedly dismantled everyone in Camp Cornette (Jim Cornette, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Vader) except for Cornette, and at In Your House: Mind Games, he's sending Jose Lothario to clean his clock as "The Heartbreak Kid don't beat on women." Lothario says it's personal between him and Cornette, and he plans to kick his butt like nobody has before. Shawn tells Mankind that he has run roughshod through the WWF until now, and while he never is the biggest or the strongest, he has more guts than brain and he plans to put a stop to Mankind at In Your House. He also tells Mankind and Paul Bearer that The Undertaker will find them and bury them both, but in the meantime, he tells Mankind not to hunt what he can't kill, as he won't be his mother or his friend, but he will be his daddy. As Shawn and Jose Lothario leave, it is announced that this month's Playgirl with Shawn on the cover is out now.

At In Your House: Mind Games, Bret will make an announcement that will shock the world. Owen says he know what Bret is going to say, but the rest of the world will have to wait. Jim Ross publicly apologizes for causing a snag in the return of Diesel and Razor Ramon, but still stands steadfast in the story and his sources.

The Undertaker beats Salvatore Sincere in the latter's Raw and brings Salvatore's unbeaten streak to an end. During the match, we hear pre-recorded comments from Goldust and Marlena. Goldust tells The Undertaker that at In Your House that he will be laid to rest at the final curtain. Also, Jim Ross announces that negotiations to bring back Diesel and Razor Ramon are progressing very well, and promises to update the fans as they progress. It is also announced that the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament - Faarooq Asaad vs. Sycho Sid as well as Owen Hart vs. "Wildman" Marc Mero will take place next week at the end of the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 19, 1996
Owen Hart beats The British Bulldog by count-out to advance to the quarter-finals of the Intercontinental title tournament. During the match, static is seen, and is attributed to the spirit of The Undertaker. Soon after, Sunny shows up and guests on commentary, saying she should be managing Bulldog and Owen instead of Jim Cornette, as Cornette isn't at ringside. Cornette is backstage watching the match on a TV screen, and when interviewed, we find out he isn't at ringside as it's like watching two of your kids fight and doesn't want to pick sides. He says that WWE is against Camp Cornette due to Vader losing out on the WWF Championship at SummerSlam and not getting a rematch at In Your House, Clarence Mason stealing talent from underneath his nose and the placement of Owen Hart and The British Bulldog in a match against each other in the Intercontinental Championship tournament. He takes offense to what Sunny said about Owen and Bulldog needing better management, and says he's just trying to keep Camp Cornette together. He also says that "his 650-pounder" Yokozuna will put an end to "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels tonight (which is ironic, since Yokozuna turned on him even though he helped take him to the top. Nevertheless, commentary is convinced Yokozuna and Cornette have reconciled). Owen and The British Bulldog fight near the announce table - and way too close to Sunny her for her liking - before Owen wins by count-out, and when Bulldog gets too close to Sunny, she throws soda into his face and accuses him of being a pervert and looking up her skirt before saying Owen is the better man. Jim Cornette shows up, and Owen also sees what's going on, and it leads to an argument between Cornette and Sunny which leads to Cornette calling Sunny a slut.
Mark Henry shows up to meet and greet some of the members of the crowd, and also sign autographs. Sunny leaves as this goes on, but Vader shows up and gets in Henry's face telling him he's the world's strongest man. Jim Cornette guests on commentary for the next match.
Vader beats Freddie Joe Floyd. Cornette says that Yokozuna has indeed realized that he brought him to the top and that he will guide him to victory tonight. Once again, video static is present, but now there is audio static, otherworldly sounds being heard and the lights dimming on and off as Vader finishes off Freddie Joy Floyd.
The encore presentation of SummerSlam is tomorrow night at 8 PM and 11 PM Eastern (7 PM and 10 PM Central) on pay-per-view!
Jim Bearer interviews Paul Bearer and Mankind in the ring. When asked why he turned on The Undertaker, Paul Bearer says he's sick and tired of being tired. He has tired of carrying The Undertaker all over the world and to a WWF Championship, and he is sick and tired of being abused. The lights dim in and out, and audio static can be heard. Paul Bearer attributes all this to Mankind, whom he says has the spirit and power of the urn now. Mankind says his body is still in pain from the Boiler Room Brawl, and he loves it. Since his birth in the WWF, winning has never been his priority and it was simply a way to create more misery for his opponent, but now Paul Bearer has shown him that by defeating Shawn for the WWF Championship, he will not only make Shawn the least sexy boy toy in the world, but he will destroy the lives of "the Kliq." All he has to do is pin "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels' shoulders to the mat, and and then put them in a hospital bed for eternity. The lights are dimming in and out as Mankind speaks, and Jim Ross says it's all due to The Undertaker. Paul Bearer insists that it's Mankind that he feels, as The Undertaker has passed away and gone for eternity. The sound of a gong and the arena going dark proves otherwise, and the chanting of the druids can be heard. The druids show up, carrying The Undertaker back to the ring. Mankind says that's not The Undertaker and simply his dried-up, dead carcass. He says The Undertaker tried to play mind games with him, and he's history. Paul Bearer says this is all his plan, as this is just his body and that The Undertaker is not here, and that The Undertaker is nothing without him and will never be anything again. The Undertaker is placed on the aisle across from the ring, and when Paul Bearer proceeds with the wake, The Undertaker stands right back up triumphant. Paul Bearer and Mankind are shocked, and fire shoots out from the ring posts before they escape.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 22, 1996
Sunny and The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) show up with a cake at the start of the show. We find out that it is meant for "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, and when Shawn sees it, it is used as bait for a sneak attack by The Smoking Gunns. However, Billy hears some Sweet Chin Music, and Shawn moves the cake towards Sunny before placing a fingerful of cake on Sunny's face. Sunny tries to dump the cake on her, but Ahmed slams it into her face and Shawn kisses the icing off her face not once, but twice. Shawn and Ahmed vs. The Smoking Gunns is over before the bell could even ring, but Ahmed and Shawn got the jump on Sunny and the Gunns.
"Wildman" Marc Mero beats The Goon after a brief fight in the cake icing on the floor outside of the ring. Before the match, WWF President Gorilla Monsoon says the tag team title match will take place later tonight to give Billy Gunn time to recover, and if The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) refuse to participate, they will be stripped of the WWF Tag Team Championships. Also, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin guests on commentary, and Vince McMahon interviews Jake "The Snake" Roberts via telephone. Roberts says he's done, but certainly not out, and both Stone Cold and Jerry "The King" Lawler make fun of his former drug and drink problems. Roberts says he will come back as soon possible, hopefully in two or three weeks but hopefully sooner. After Stone Cold makes fun of the Lex Express and presents the idea of doing his own version where he whips everyone's asses instead of shaking hands and kissing babies, it is announced that Stone Cold has a match against The Undertaker next week, and Stone Cold predicts that he will beat The Undertaker. Also on commentary, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is mentioned, and Steve Austin says that he would beat him if they got in the ring.

"Wildman" Marc Mero is interviewed backstage. Marc Mero says Vader is the biggest cat in his jungle, and he promises jungle warfare and Vader with a severe case of cat scratch fever. He tells Goldust that there are three things he doesn't do: tug on Superman's cape, spit in the wind and mess with Sable. He knows that Goldust is sending letters and presents to Sable, and if Goldust wants his attention, he's got it fully at SummerSlam.
Goldust beats Barry Horowitz.
Sunny says Ahmed Johnson and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels have no idea what being champions are all about, and that real champions don't conduct themselves like Ahmed and Shawn did at the beginning of the show. She calls The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) respectable champions, says that Billy Gunn is fine now, and that The Gunns are ready to defend the tag team titles as best as they can. She says that Shawn and Ahmed will not have their cake and eat it too. Billy Gunn says they brought down the heap, and now they're going to get it in the form of a side of The Smoking Gunns that they won't want to see. Bart Gunn says that Shawn and Ahmed will pay for what they did to Billy and Sunny.

Cornette then asks Shawn if there was always the one kid who hid behind a tree and bullied him, and says that kid is now grown up and out there in the form of Vader. Cornette says Vader will grab him and shake him for change before taking the WWF Championship from him at SummerSlam, and that there is nobody who can whip Vader as he is the baddest man walking. He says that Michaels will walk into SummerSlam and enter the biggest nightmare of his life before losing the WWF Championship to him.

Sunny cheers the mystery man on as he attacks Ahmed, and Shawn Michaels tries to get a piece of the guy to no avail. WHen we get a close-up of his face, Jerry "The King" Lawler notices that he looks like Ron Simmons. He then says to Sunny after she catches up with him "From this day forward...this kingdom is yours." The show ends with the guy in the helmet and Ahmed Johnson brawling again. The Smoking Gunns retain the WWF Tag Team Championships.
