Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for January 14, 2017

Special thanks to PWPonderings.com for helping me get caught up.

Lio Rush, Jay Wyte and Donovan Dijak beat The Rebellion (Kenny King, Rhett Titus, Caprice Coleman). The Rebellion attack the winners after the match until The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) make the save.

Before the next match, Cody Rhodes says that he is here to judge the fans and that at Final Battle, he realized that the putrid smell that he smelled was the smell of mediocrity. He then blasts Ring of Honor for not being up to his standards, and that he was angry when a fan asked to see Brandi before sarcastically telling the fans they must be happy to have a star that hasn't faded in the building. Steve Corino shows up. Cody reminds Corino of the time in 1999 when he insulted his father Dusty Rhodes. Cody demands that Corino look him in the eye as he tells him that he has no respect for him. Corino tells Cody that Dusty was his hero and paved the way for him to be there, then tells him that one of Genghis Khan’s sons had to be sacrificed, either him or his brother. Cody slaps Corino, and the match begins.

Cody Rhodes beats Steve Corino with a low blow. After the match, Cody attacks Corino, then Jay Lethal rushes into the ring and gets a few shots in before Cody retreats.

Before the next match, Jay Lethal tells the crowd that Cody Rhodes faced him first because Ring of Honor is a proving ground for the best in the world.

Jay Lethal beats Jushin "Thunder" Liger to continue to the next round of the Decade of Excellence Tournament.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for May 5, 2000

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcomes everyone to tonight's show. Afterwards, Justin Credible shows up with Francine. Styles says congratulations are in order, but admits that what happened with the ECW World Tag Team Championships was shocking. Francine says the only thing that is shocking is that everyone would think that she would leave herself out of the World Heavyweight Championship picture. She says she record here stands for itself, as she has managed people like "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Chris Candido and "that loser" Lance Storm to a world title and even managed "a has-been" like Raven and "a nothing" like "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer to the tag team titles. Now, her greatest accomplishment is managing the most controversial man in wrestling today - Justin Credible - to the world title. Styles says nobody was questioning Francine's managerial acumen, then Styles reminds Justin Credible that what he did to the tag team titles were distasteful at best. Justin says what he did to the tag team titles was not just the coolest or the best, but before he can say it was just incredible, Lance Storm shows up with Dawn Marie. Lance tells Justin he trained, taught and carried him, and he did not just throw down just the tag team titles, but one of the titles that belonged to him while spitting on both him and the business. For that, Justin owes him a title, and he will either beat him for the World title or Justin will hand it over. Justin tells Storm there are two things he can do: take the World title or take his ass back to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Storm immediately slaps Justin, starting a brawl in the middle of the ring that security and officials have to stop at ringside. Meanwhile, in the ring, Dawn Marie and Francine have a catfight, and Justin and Storm have to break that apart along with security and officials. Suddenly, Raven shows up and goes after Justin, but gets superkicked by Storm, who proceeds to hit him with an Evenflow DDT. Jazz then gets in the ring and hits Dawn Marie with a Michinoku Driver only to get superkicked by Storm. Storm then shows up and fights Storm in the ring, getting their match storm while Tommy Dreamer is seen in the crowd beating up Justin Credible.

Lance Storm beats Kid Kash after Jazz chases Dawn Marie out of the ring.

At a hotel suite, Elektra stands between Lou E. Dangerously and The New Dangerous Alliance (C.W. Anderson and "Wild" Bill Wiles), takes off her coat, and says that the situation needs a woman's touch. Lou E. knocks on the door of a nearby hotel room, and Mikey Whipwreck answers. Inside the room is The Sinister Minister, and Lou E. asks for the Minister's help in straightening up the world and tag team title pictures. The Sinister Minister tells him that if the D.A. would give him five or six minutes alone on the couch, something can be worked out. Elektra then asks The Sinister Minster "Rabbi, are those rosary beads in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?", to which the minister produces a string of beads and states "They're not exactly rosary beads." Elektra says that was not the pocket she was talking about, and the Minister proposes running them up against Elektra's bikini line. Elektra says she doesn't have a bikini line, to which the Minster responds "All the more reason for a closer inspection." Mikey Whipwreck shows up with a flaming chalice and says "I'll drink to that," then Elektra proposes showing The Sinister Minister something that is "hotter than Hell" as she takes her bra off and drops it on his head. Everyone in the room laughs.

Jerry Lynn beats Scotty Anton after Rhino Gores Anton through a table in the corner. After the match Cyrus shows up with Steve Corino and Jack Victory to congratulate Jerry Lynn on his victory. He asks Jerry Lynn to shake his hand, and Lynn shoves Bill Alfonso - who tries to reason with Lynn - before hitting Corino with a tope con hiro. Rhino and Jack Victory proceed to attack both Anton and Jerry Lynn while Cyrus yells that this is what happens when you mess with the network. Suddenly, Rob Van Dam shows up and fights Rhino, then comes face-to-face with Cyrus as Cyrus tries to sneak up on him. RVD is about to hit Cyrus with the Van Daminator when Victory and Corino blindside RVD and Rhino joins in. Yoshihiro Tajiri shows up and spits green mist in Victory's face and helps RVD fend everyone off, and RVD takes out both Anton and Lynn with a somersault over the ropes. Corino then takes the microphone and says that he and Rhino have a lucky break here, and that the odds are in their favor. He says that he is a forgiving man, as is Cyrus and the rest of his allies, and says they will forgive him if he admits he made a mistake turning on them; otherwise, it will be him and Rhino "all over [his] slanty-eyed ass." He also says that without them, Tajiri has nobody. Tajiri then pulls out a can of beer and opens it, then The Sandman shows up out of the back of the crowd and slowly heads to the ring. This leads into the next match.

Yoshihiro Tajiri and The Sandman beat The Network (Steve Corino and Rhino). During the match, The Sandman's wife, Tori Fullington, shows up with a section of guardrail and a Kendo stick before watching the match from ringside, and hits Rhino with the Kendo stick later in the match (though it is mostly to no effect).

Tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern and Pacific Time on CBS, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and New Jack guest star on Early Edition.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for April 21, 2000

We hear from The Sinister Minister, who says that in Dante's The Divine Comedy, the ninth circle of Hell is reserved for the lowest of the low, those who have betrayed their benefactors, and the treacherous. He says that this place is where one is supposed to go to find the former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Mike Awesome. Mikey Whipwreck pops out of a garbage can and says he is a former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, but The Sinister Minister tells him to shut up and shoves his back, toppling even more garbage cans in the process, and tells him to go start a fire. Whipwreck starts repeating the word "fire" before running out of the room laughing. The Sinister Minister says that in last week's episode, a WCW-contracted wrestler lost the ECW World Heavyweight Championship to a WWF-contracted wrestler after interference by an ECW-contracted wrestler in an ECW ring. He says that this is extreme, then says that the wrestling pundits will want the viewers to believe that the events in the past week will pale in comparison to Cyberslam. In order for for that to happen, however, Cyberslam has to be to annual pay-per-view events what sexual homicide is to a good night kiss. He then says "I love you all...especially your souls," before laughing maniacally.

As Mikey Whipwreck lights cards on fire at a nearby table, Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner are about to welcome everyone to tonight's show before they notice what Whipwreck is doing. They then get back to welcoming everyone before welcoming The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) and Dawn Marie into the ring. After The Impact Players are told that they are only tag team champs due to Dawn Marie's constant interference and that Jazz has said she will rip Dawn Marie's head off, Dawn Marie says she is not afraid of Jazz or any other woman in the company or any other company, and tells Joey Styles to watch his mouth. Suddenly, Franicine runs into the ring, and is confronted by Justin Credible and his Singapore cane. Raven gets in the ring and holds Francine back, but Justin Credible uses this as an opportunity to start a brawl with Raven. All of a sudden, Mikey Whipwreck joins in on the match as Raven's tag team partner before referee Jim Molineaux shows up to referee the match, get it started and fall victim to an arm drag by Whipwreck, who then hits a tope con hilo to the outside.

The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) beat Raven and Mikey Whipwreck following a catfight between Dawn Marie and Francine which ends with Justin Credible hitting Francine in the stomach with a Singapore cane.

Cyrus is in the ring. He tells C.W. Anderson that nobody came to see him wrestle, and asks if people would rather see The Network or Electra's breasts. Electra, who just so happens to also be in the ring, takes off her jacket, much to the delight of the crowd. Cyrus says this is why he makes the decisions and the fans do not, and tells Elektra she has the night off and find some sex in the streets for a little bit of food money. Elektra yells at Cyrus, but Lou E. Dangerously shows up and tries to calm her down. Cyrus tells Lou E. Dangerously to get her and C.W. Anderson out of the ring, which he does, as he is in the ring on Network business. He talks about the legal side of the match between Mike Awesome and Tazz for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, then says that he has reviewed the contractual of each and every ECW performer and has learned that there is one person who has been coming to the shows while not under contract. Due to recent events, he can no longer be on television if he is not under contract, and that person is Scotty Anton. He asks what Rob Van Dam has done for everybody, citing what has happened to Sabu as of late, and says that while the people love Rob Van Dam, Rob Van Dam is a selfish man who "bogarts" television time faster than he does a marijuana joint. Suddenly, Scotty Anton shows up, and Cyrus stops him, telling him he is not under contract and in defiance of The Network. Instead of setting the lawyers on him, he will kick his ass in the ring and let the cameras roll. Anton gets in the ring, then Cyrus asks Anton is ready, as he is going to bend over for The Network like he does when he kisses RVD's ass. Anton grabs Cyrus, but he is attacked from behind by Rhino, starting an impromptu match.

Scotty Anton vs. Rhino ends with Rhino Goring referee Mike Kehner through Scotty Anton and a table. After the match, Rob Van Dam shows up with Bill Alfonso and fights Rhino, and ECW security and locker room members have to break up the brawl.

We see footage from during the commercial break where Rhino has to be dragged to the back. It is also announced that Scotty Anton has been taken to the hospital following the previous match.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer beats Steve Corino in a Texas Bull Rope match that turns into a violent six-man tag battle between Dreamer, The Sandman and New Jack vs. The Network (Corino, Jack Victory, Tajiri). During the match, Jack Victory attacks Tommy Dreamer, but The Sandman soon shows up with a ladder. Corino and Jack Victory then attack The Sandman as he makes his way into the ring, but The Sandman fights back with a Singapore cane and sends both Corino and Jack Victory into the ladder. The match becomes a tag team affair until Tajiri shows up and attacks The Sandman and Dreamer from Tajiri. The match then becomes a three-on-two beatdown until New Jack shows up with a garbage can full of weapons and goes to town on Corino, Jack Victory and Tajiri, at one point pulling out a staple gun and busting open Jack Victory with it. The action then takes place both in the ring and in the crowd, and it all ends in the ring with a top rope steel chair shot from New Jack, who gets the pinfall victory in an impromptu all-out war. After the match, Rhino runs in and beats up Dreamer, New Jack and The Sandman. Suddenly, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes shows up and hits bionic elbows on The Network as well as Rhino, who eventually gets smacked in the head with a Singapore cane by The Sandman. The Network is forced to retreat. The show ends with Dreamer, Dusty, New Jack and The Sandman celebrating in the ring.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for April 7, 2000

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to tonight's show, then interview Raven and Francine. Raven says that because of the levels of depravity he has obtained, he knows Joey Styles is wondering why he put a bounty on "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer's head. He then says that Styles puts too much stock on the Internet and dirt sheets, and says he has nothing to do with the bounty on Dreamer's head. When Styles tells Raven that he heard Da Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Grimes) say he did it, Francine tells Styles that she has known him for six years, and asks him who he is going to believe: her or Da Baldie. She also says she is a "Baldie" herself, but she can't show people on television. She then says that she knows who put the hit on Dreamer, and that she knows it is not Raven. When Styles guesses that Francine put out the hit, Francine tells Styles she never liked him anyway and chews him out for accusing her. Suddenly, Da Baldies show up, and Angel says Raven knows he put the hit on Dreamer, and asks if he smells fear on Raven. Raven says he smells his mom, and that is only because he had ten dollars on him. This leads to Raven receiving a beating from Da Balides while Styles he;ps Francine get out of the ring.

We hear from The Sinister Minister, who says that "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer rolled the dice of fate and crapped out, as word on the street says that Raven put the hit out on him. He says that Raven has the ethics of a weasel and the loyalty of a drowning rat, and this is why he likes him. However, he says Raven refutes that and that Raven always tells the truth when he lies. He says the only thing certain around here is that someone is pulling an awful lot of strings. As he laugs, the camear pans downwards as The Sinister Minister plays with giant puppet strings as a laughing Mikey Whipwreck - who is tied to the strings - is seen below.

Steve Corino beats Kid Kash. During the match, Kid Kash drop kicks Jack Victory into referee Mike Kehner, and this allows Rhino to gore Kid Kash on the second try after Kid Kash leaps after the first one.

Backstage, Big Sal E. Graziano says that he and Little Guido will bring the ECW World Television Championship back to the man who deserves it most. Suddenly, Cyrus shows up and gives Little Guido an opportunity, and tells him that his TV title match next week will be a three-way dance also involving Tajiri. He says that Tajiri is taken care of and that after Tajiri does all the work, Little Guido will be television champion. Little Guido says he can take Tajiri and Super Crazy, and that he can take everybody.

Backstage, Cyrus talks with Tajiri, telling him he is in a three-way dance for the ECW World Television Championship, and that he has made it so that Tajiri will win the TV title.

Super Crazy retains the ECW World Television Championship against Mikey Whipwreck. After the match, Little Guido attacks Super Crazy, and Tajiri gets in the ring and kicks the crap out of Little Guido before blinding Super Crazy with green mist.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer calls the bounty on his head a joke, then pulls out a wad of cash and says he will double whatever Raven is paying to get the job done. He wants to know why Raven does not want to face him one-on-one, as they have fought so many times before and they know each other like the back of their hands. He then says he hates the back of his hand right now, and says that if Raven can get out of his pill-induced stupor for one minute and realize that through failed gimmick and unsuccessful stays elsewhere, he is nothing with out him. As for Raven claiming he hates him but needs him as well as blaming his messed-up life on his father, if Raven could pull back his hear, pull out his piercings and look underneath his tattoos, he will realize he is a 36-year-old man who should finally realize the person he hates most is himself. He says that without him, there is no Raven.

Before the next match, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer says there are theree Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Grimes) and one of him, and that there is someone drunk enough in the audience who is ready to to take it to the extreme. The Sandman then shows up, and what is originally a one-on-one match between Dreamer and Angel is now a 3-on-2 handicap match. As Sandman walks around in the ring while Dreamer brings out some barbed wire.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman beat Da Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Grimes). During the match, Angel tells Dreamer that it is always three against one in a match with Da Baldies. All of a sudden, Raven shows up and fights off Da Baldies, and despite not being an official competitor in the match, he wins the match for Dreamer and The Sandman. After the match, Raven and Dreamer are about to go at it when Mike Awesome shows up with Judge Jeff Jones. Awesome says that Raven and Dreamer have no reason to have a problem with each other, as he knows for a fact that Raven did not put the hit out on Dreamer. Judge Jeff Jones also says Raven did not do it, then reveals he was the one who put the hit out. Awesome lays out Raven and Dreamer, then gets a table in the ring and puts Raven through it with an Awesome Bomb. Awesome then sets up another table in the corner, and puts Dreamer through it with another Awesome Bomb.

Judge Jeff Jones says that he put the bounty on "The Innovator of Violence' Tommy Dreamer simply for his own amusement after seeing the idea on old wrestling tapes, and even went so far as to blame Raven for the bounty. He also says that Raven did not even know about the bounty. Suddenly, Mike Awesome pushes Judge Jeff Jones into the corner and tells him to shut up, and that he wants his pay-off for kicking Tommy Dreamer's ass. Judge Jeff Jones gives him the money, then Awesome wants more money for taking out Raven. Judge Jeff Jones says the bounty was only for Dreamer, but Awesome pushes him back into the corner and Judge Jeff Jones gives him more money, anyway. Aweomse says he has money in his pocket, food on his plate and the ECW World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder because he is awesome.

We hear from some ECW wrestlers before the show comes to a close.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for February 4, 2000

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to tonight's show. Cyrus is seen before Gertner can express his dirty nickname of the week, and says everyone must be as tired as he is of looking at some biscuit-fed porker getting himself over at the expense of the talent, and threatens to send him to Rock 'n Bowl and have him do a one-legged chicken dance every time somebody gets a spare. In his promotion in Canada, this was not tolerated, and says that Gertner was heat not only with the boys in the back and the office, but also the network, and he does not want heat with the network. Suddenly, Bill Alfonso and Rob Van Dam show up, and Rob Van Dam confronts Mike Awesome in his dressing room. Both men brawl, and Spike Dudley shows up and hits "Judge" Jeff Jones with an Acid Drop before referees rush in to restore order and get the camera out of the dressing room. Cyrus says that the network will not tolerate this sort of violence, and demands that the producers roll the show's opening sequence.

"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes' tag team partner is revealed to be "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer.

The Sinister Minister is seen talking to Raven, who asks why "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer needs Francine to formulate a strategy for him and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. He believes that Dreamer does not want to talk to him. Suddenly, Paul Heyman tells The Sinister Minister to leave Raven alone, then asks Raven what his problem is. Raven says that at least The Sinister Minister is listening to him, and Raven asks why either Heyman or anyone else in his family refuses to listen to him. Heyman tells the cameraman to put the camera down, then tells Raven that this has to stop. He says he does not sin against anyone but himself, and that he has been sacrificed for both Tommy Dreamer and Francine's sins, and that Raven has to snap out of it. Raven says he ready to just snap altogether, and that he will sin against himself. Heyman says he will not help him if he goes down this path, but Raven asks "Have you ever helped me before?"

Before the next match, Steve Corino tells "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer that they have been through this many times, and nobody here wants to see him destroy Dreamer again. Since Rhino single-handedly destroyed Dreamer last week, he wants Dreamer to turn around and tag "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes - whom he proceeds to insult again - into the match, as tonight is his night. Dreamer refuses, and Corino demands he does this or else he will sic Rhino on him so badly that he will never be able to make another television appearance. Dreamer tags Dusty in this time, and the match begins.

"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer beat Rhino and Steve Corino. Early in the match, Dusty gets Rhino in a Figure Four Leg Lock, and when Jack Victory gets in the ring, he gets one from Dreamer. Corino then gets in the ring, but gets put in a Figure Four Leg Lock by Francine.

The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm), Dawn Marie and "The Sexiest Man Alive" Jason are seen in a hot tub. Storm says The Impact Players want to defend the ECW World Tag Team Championships night in and night out, but they also do not want to demean them by defending the titles against "inferior talent." They are waiting for the right team to step up. Credible tells all the other teams to kill each other, and when a good enough team steps up, they will let everyone know. Dawn Marie tries to get naked for national television, but Jason beats her to the punch.

We hear from "Dastardly" Danny Doring, Roadkill and Electra. Doring says things are heating up, and everyone wants a shot at tag team gold. They are no exception, and they are the team most deserving of the titles and the money, fame and women that comes with them. When Doring mentions the women, however, Electra gets upset and tells him not to forget where he came from when he and Roadkill win the tag team titles, then grabs him by the "Danaconda" and tells him he will snap his manhood off if he does. He then tells Dawn Marie that if she thinks she is half the women she is, she will kick her ass the next time she sees her.

Mikey Whipwreck looks into a mirror and says he is not a baby, and says all the mothers will be happy because their kids will grow up to be like him, as he was talented enough to pin 2 Cold Scorpio for the Television title, hardcore enough to carry Cactus Jack to the tag team titles and extreme enough to take the World title from The Sandman. After tonight, all his friends in the locker room will propose a hot cocoa toast for him when he beats Rob Van Dam and wins the Television title again.

Rob Van Dam retains the ECW World Television Championship against Mikey Whipwreck after having Bill Alfonso sit under him in the corner as he hits the Five Star Frog Splash.

We see Mike Awesome in the parking lot. He tells Spike Dudley and Rob Van Dam that his manager "Judge" Jeff Jones is being loaded up in the ambulance right now. He tells them both to get on their knees and pray he is okay, because if he is not, he will break both of their backs and end their careers.

The show ends with late breaking news narrated by Paul Heyman, who announces that Rob Van Dam has suffered a broken leg during a match in Orlando, Florida hours after this episode was taped, and that further information is available right now on ECWWrestling.com. Further details and a full discussion on the ramifications of this event will take place next week on ECW on TNN.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for January 28, 2000

Backstage, Francine finds Raven in a darkened room and tries to get him to the ring so he and "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer can face Rhino and Steve Corino tonight. Raven refuses to wrestle tonight, saying he does everything for everybody else and never gets thanked for it. He also says that his father was right about him, and that he is useless without the tag team titles. Tommy Dreamer shows up and demands he get up and go, but Raven refuses, and Francine has to tell Dreamer to leave Raven be.

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to tonight's show. As Gertner makes fun of Cyrus and makes a reference to fellatio, the camera cuts to the production truck, where Cyrus shuts the broadcast off and tells the audience that he has a five wrestlers who want their releases and are going to walk if Gertner is no longer color commentator. He says everyone has better things to do with their time than seeing Gertner put himself over, such as last week's confrontation between Rob Van Dam and Mike Awesome, which is replayed.

Backstage, "Judge" Jeff Jones has a few things to clear up. Mike Awesome tells Jones to forget about Rob Van Dam, as tonight is about Spike Dudley. He is ECW World Heavyweight Champion because he is awesome, and he is focused on beating Spike Dudley and putting him through a table. He admits Spike proved how tough he can be at Guilty As Charged, but he also showed how tough he can be. If Spike wants to challenge him for the World title, all he has to do is get in the ring, as he will kick his ass all over the arena.

Tajiri beats Little Guido. During the match, it is announced that New Orleans Saints starting tight end Josh Wilcox will volunteer to be "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer's partner against Rhino and Steve Corino later tonight. Also, Big Sal E. Graziano gets on the apron with a steel chair, but Tajiri drop kicks him off.

We hear from Rob Van Dam and Bill Alfonso. RVD tells Sabu not to think he doesn't appreciate what he has done for him, and that he hopes he understands that the student has betterd the master and that he is better than Sabu. He says it bothers Sabu that he was destined for great things, and he would have still let Sabu carry his bags and even the ECW World Television Championship, but Sabu didn't want it that way. Since Sabu knows he can't beat him, he attacks him along with Mike Awesome in an attempt to bring him down, but he can't be brought down. RVD tells Sabu he will continue to kick his ass for as long as he comes around. As for Mike Awesome, he's a "big motherfucker" and a hell of a World Champion, and while he is World Champion for now, RVD has held the World Television title for almost two years because he is the best wrestler in the business, meaning Awesome is not as good as he is. RVD says Awesome knows he is the better wrestler, which is why the crowd cheers for RVD and he knows he is the best. He then says there is a reason why he is called "the whole fuckin' show."

Rhino and Steve Corino beat "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and Josh Wilcox after Wilcox turns on Dreamer with a steel chair. After the match, Wilcox takes a bunch of money from Jack Victory, then Francine gets on top of Wilcox only to be plucked away and taken to the back by Rhino. Corino commends Wilcox on doing good for himself, then they both hug. Wilcox turns on the fans, saying that they booed the Saints and that the fans suck, not the New Orleans Saints. Wilcox goes on to say he takes pride in his job whiel the "unemployed bastards" in the crowds are drinking beer, then tells the crowd to kiss his ass. Corino tells the New Orleans, Louisiana crowd that Wilcox is the real savior of the Saints, then calls out "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Dusty shows up, then punches both Wilcox and Victory repeatedly. Corino gets behind him only to get kicked in the groin before receiving an elbow to the head, then Wilcox becomes the recipient of a bionic elbow.

Mike Awesome retains the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against Spike Dudley. After the match, referee Mike Kehner eats an Awesome Bomb. Awesome then tells Rob Van Dam that if he is not laid up in a hospital somewhere and if he has the balls, then he can come to the ring and show how awesome he can be. RVD and Bill Alfonso show up, but Sabu attacks RVD from behind and the two of them brawl at ringside. Awesome goes for a leap over the top rope onto RVD, but RVD sidesteps and Awesome hits Sabu instead. The show ends with RVD hitting a somersault senton on both Sabu and Awesome.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for November 12, 1999

The show begins with Jason telling The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) that they have to leave as The Sandman is drunk, crazy and smacking police officers with his Singapore cane. Rhino shows up and says he will take the cane and shove it so far up his ass that he will have to cut his head off just to pull it back out. Storm and Dawn Marie leave, but Justin Credible sticks with Rhino. Jason, on the other hand, still wants to leave.

Raven is in the locker room bathroom...almost. Turns out, it is "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer dressed like Raven. He says Raven wants to hide behind tattoos and piercings, and tells him that life sucks and to take it on the chin. He asks Raven if he wants to destroy him and if he cares about his body, and asks Raven what he can do to him that hasn't been done before. He smacks his head into a metal panel in the wall repeately as he asks Raven if he wants to beat him, and busts himself open as he says he and Raven are bound by something stronger than love or hate: blood. He tells Raven to do the right thing.

Before the next match, Steve Corino says there are a lot of things in ECW that make him sick, but what makes him most sick is people who cry, whine, and are scared of wrestling hurt. He says he has been wrestling with a broken appendix for nine months now, and just because Jerry Lynn has a few bruised ribs, he cannot wrestle much anymore. Corino tells Jerry Lynn to get "his crippled ass" in the ring so he can end his career for good. Lynn runs into the ring, and the match begins.

Jerry Lynn beats Steve Corino, then Tajiri gets in the ring. Tariji and Lynn brawl, then Tajiri spits green mist into Lynn's face and Jack Victory holds Lynn down so that Tajiri can kick Lynn in his bruised ribs. Victory and Tajiri run away after Super Crazy runs into the ring, but a blinded Lynn punches at Tajiri, and he and Super Crazy brawl.

We see Cyrus on the phone. He hangs up when he sees the camera, and announces that at this time, ECW is happy with how Joey Styles is going, but that he cannot say the same about "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner. He says it is not how he looks or that he is 23 years old and has never paid a due in the wrestling business, but because he has heat with the boys and he gets himself over at the expense of the talent. He says that Gertner crossed the line after the incident with Taz after failing to back Joey Styles up when he got punked out on national television and "rolling around like a fat, hairy flounder" after being choked out by Taz. He says that the annoucners cannot fraternize with the talent, and he has no choice but to hold a meeting with creative and ask him to come to the office so they can discuss his future. He says that change is coming. We then see Gertner with a surprised look on his face, but Joey Styles tells him not to be paranoid as there is no creative department and that there is no office.

Tajiri beats Super Crazy. During the match, Tajiri inadvertently clotheslines referee Jim Molineaux, then Jerry Lynn runs into the ring and attacks Tajiri. Super Crazy attacks Jerry Lynn, but he falls victim to a cradle piledriver. Lynn leaves, then Tajiri hits a standing moonsault on Super Crazy for the win.

Rhino and Steve Corino are in the ring. Corino says that tonight, it is time for Rhino to go from being the best rookie that professional wrestling has ever seen to the next big thing in sports. Raven is seen watching what is going on from his dressing room before Corino calls out The Sandman.

We see Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney in the bathroom. Axl says November To Remember will not be one to remember for a lot of people anymore because they "knocked it out of their heads" when it comes to Da Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Skull, P.N. News), and says that when they put them through that table, they and New Jack will stand tall and prove that they are the most hardcore wrestlers in ECW. He says it felt good to see the blood come out of their bald heads, and it will feel even better when they wrap steel chair around them. As Axl is speaking, Da Baldies are hiding in the stalls, and they eventually blindside both men. Angel tells them and New Jack "Don't play a playa."

Rhyno vs. The Sandman ends in a no-contest. During the math, Jason and Justin Credible show up, and Justin hits Sandman with the Singapore cane. "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer then shows up, but he falls victim to the numbers game. Raven is seen running from the dressing room to the ring, and he comes into the ring with a steel chair and takes out Justin Credible and Jack Victory before hitting Rhino with a steel chair. Raven then extends his hand to Dreamer, then The Sandman hits Raven with the Singapore cane. Dreamer has to hold The Sandman back, but The Sandman runs back in and he has to choke him out to get him to stop.

We hear from Raven, who tells "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer that he did the right thing, then asks why he let The Sandman beat him up. He says it just like when he came home from school with an A-minus at seven years old and his dad beat the crap out of it. He says he can still smell the beer on his breath as he says that it was not good enough. When he asked his mother why, she told him that he should be lucky that is all he does to him. Raven repeatedly says he did the right thing, and asks Dreamer why he let The Sandman beat him up, then repeatedly says he did the right thing.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for October 15, 1999

Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch show up, followed by Lance Storm and Dawn Marie. Storm says he saw Tammy's interview last week, and says it good to know she realizes she is a has-been at 26, then says people in the back figured it out a year ago. He goes on to say Candido only had enough talent for him to carry him for a year-and-a-half. He tells them to go back to their old habits and take a powder. Candido says the only powder they are taking is one they're man enough to make. Dawn Marie tells Candido to get out and take "[his] prostitute" with him. This leads to a brawl between both parties that security has to break up.

Tom Marquez vs. David Kash ends when Rhino and Steve Corino show up and Rhino Gores both men in the match. Corino then brings attention to the fact that Kyle Truley and Josh Wilcox of the New Orleans Saints are in the crowd, and Rhyno says he will beat the crap out of them. Rhino and the football players go at it, and security has to get involved. "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer shows up and has to help security out. Corino notices Dreamer, and says he will destroy him and end his career for good as one of the football players rips Rhino's jersey, which is tossed into the crowd.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer beats Steve Corino. During the match, Dreamer pulls Corino's tights down after getting him on the top rope and hits him with a steel chair to the bare buttocks. Later on in the match, Corino punches referee Jim Molineaux after tripping Dreamer onto a steel chair. Shortly afterwards, Dreamer puts Corino in the Tarantula, and Francine kicks Jack Victory off the apron. Tajiri shows up and attacks Dreamer, then goes after Francine, who kicks him in the crotch and runs to the back after ducking a roundhouse kick from Tajiri. Jack Victory is seen holding Dreamer back, but Raven runs in and pushes Corino off the tope rope. Dreamer hits Victory with a DDT, and Raven does the same to Tajiri before hitting Dreamer with one, too. Raven sits in the corner as Corino goes for the three-count, but Dreamer reverses the pinfall into an inside cradle for the win. After the match, Raven mockingly congratulates Dramer, who is still knocked out.

Before the next match, Bill Alfonso announces that sooner rather than later, Sabu will victimize someone on ECW on TNN.

Lance Storm beats Chris Candido. During the match, Justin Credible and Jason show up as Dawn Marie rakes Chris Candido's eyes. This leads to a catfight between Tammy Lynn Sytch and Dawn Marie, which ends with Dawn Marie hitting Sytch with a foreign object as she has Jason in position for a DDT. After Justin Credible whacks Candido in the back with a Singapore cane, Lance Storm hits Jerry Lynn's cradle piledriver for the win.

Mike Awesome retains the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against Rod Price after putting The Ragin' Cajun through a table outside of the ring.

Dawn Marie tells us that if we are watching "the all boobs and no brains show," then we should get our thrill right now, because before too long , it will all be over as she is running them out of town and she is a star. Lance Storm says it is strictly business, and that the more people they run out, the more impact they make, and if they get rid of Raven and Dreamer, they will win the tag team titles and make an impact, which is what they do. Justin Credible that's not just the coolest or the best, it's just incredible.

We see promos from various members of the ECW roster. During one of them, Steve Corino tells Jerry Lynn to shut up and stop whining before leaving. Lynn goes after him only to find Miss Congeniality in one of the locker rooms. He finds Corino only to get beaten up by Tajiri.

Kaientai (Men's Teioh and Sho Funaki) beat Julio Sanchez and Steve Corino.

We hear comments from fan about last Sunday's SummerSlam.

Dan "The Beast" Severn beats JR Ryder by submission.

The "Stone COld" Steve Austin "Bad To The Bone" T-shirt is now available for $25 plus $6 shipping and handling!

We see some highlights from the Brawl For All competition.

Jim Ross introduces Bart Gunn to the ring as part of a celebratory award presentation. Jim Ross gives him giant golden boxing gloves for his Brawl For All win, then Bart Gunn says that his victory was no fluke. He says that he had waited eight long months for an opportunity to come to his door, and he realized that he had to do the knocking. He did just that and knocked out three men to get to this point, and he tells WWF owner Vince McMahon that he will have to start taking notice of him. If there is anything that he needs to do to prove himself to anyone in the back, he will issue an open challenge to anybody who wants to face him in a Brawl For All-style match, and this challenge is not only for the locker room, but for the rest of the world.

We hear from The Rock, who says that he did what he set out to do: climb "The People's Ladder" rung by rung and grab. He then says if it weren't for Chyna, he would have won it. He says "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley can enjoy his reign and he hopes that it is a great one, but there is only one People's Champion. As time goes on, he proves day in and day out that he is The People's Champion, The People's Choice and the best damn champion there ever was. We then hear from Triple H and Chyna. Triple H says that the obvious symbolism here is that D-Generation X (Triple H, Chyna, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) are on top of the world. Triple H says that Sunday night was an all-time classic and that The Rock gave him all that he had, but when all was said and done, he took the WWF Intercontinental Championship and placed it back around his waist. There is just one thing he wants to know from The Rock after that: "Who's your daddy, big man?"

Dustin Runnels beats Lance Diamond. After the match, Runnels helps Lance Diamond up, but Diamond is surprised by this and gets out of the ring.

We see footage from last week of a WWF meet and greet Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in New York City as well as a tag of war competition between the WWF Superstars, the local fire department and the local police department.

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) vs. Southern Justice (Mark Canterbury and Dennis Knight)!

Vince's Got A Shotgun - Shotgun Saturday Night recap for April 26, 1997

The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Animal and Road Warrior Hawk) beat The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn). When Animal and Hawk hit Henry with the Doomsday Device, Henry accidentally lands on his head. (It is later revealed that he suffered a cracked C7 vertebra.) After the match, Henry is very upset about the loss, while Hillbilly Jim and Phineas are in better spirits.

Goldust beats Mike Bell. Before the match, it is announced that Henry O. Godwinn has been hospitalized, complaining of neck pains. It is also mentioned that Henry O. Godwinn may also have a head injury. During the match, we see pre-recorded comments from Hunter Hearst Helmsley, who says that this Monday night on Raw, Goldust has set the stage for his destruction and it will be face-to-face and head-on. Helmsley says Goldust and the audience that night will never forget the name of Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

Before the next match, Kevin Kelly tries to interview Mankind, but Mankind scares him away with a lighter as he takes the microphone away from him. Kevin Kelly wisely makes his way backstage, and Mankind says some very bad things are going to happen very soon. He wants to make sure the people are aware of why they will happen. All of his life, only one man has ever believed in him and trusted him, and The Undertaker tried to take him away. Mankind says he loved "Uncle Paul," and he knows he is taught to forgive and forget, but every time he thinks of Paul Bearer's face melting in his hands, he finds it hard to forget. He tells The Undertaker to remember that somewhere, sometime, he will learn about loss. But first, Sycho Sid has a lesson to learn. He asks some kids in the front row if they go to school, and if school teaches them about history. He then says if you take Lewis and Clark and sent them on another expedition, and threw in Ferdinand Magellan and Christopher Columbus, they still wouldn't be able to locate Sycho Sid's courage because he has none. He was supposed to wrestle Sid weeks ago, but he had an injury. He says he did not feel good when The Undertaker put him through a table, as he was dying inside but did not miss a match. If he bailed out every time he had an injury, he wouldn't be in many matches. He then gets on his knees and begs Sycho Sid to find a spine before calling him a gutless worm, as he has a big surprise for him on May 11th. Next week, for "all the low-life losers," he's got the biggest surprise of all. He tells the fans to think about that and try to have a nice day.

Vader is back in the United States of America after being jailed in Kuwait for 11 days, thanks to the efforts of U.S. officials. In a press conference Friday morning in New York City, Vader says he apologizes to no one and for nothing. He was stripped of his liberty and freedom, inundated by death threats and had 24-hour security. He says it all comes down to simple extortion, as the integrity of the man who interviewed him was worth $25,000 in two hours, and was worth $400,000+ the next morning. He says they wanted ratings, and they got the highest ratings they have had in the last couple of years.

The Nation of Domination (Crush, D'Lo Brown, Savio Vega) beat Freddie Joe Floyd, Steve Corino and "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya. Faarooq whips Steve Corino with his leather strap after the match.

Flash Funk beats Nick Barbury. Before the match, it is announced that Henry O. Godwinn suffered a cracked vertebra and that his neck is broken, and that he will be out for some time.
