Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for June 2, 2000

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner wlecome the fans to tonight's show as Raven sits in the corner. Gertner says he does not have a line, to which the crowd chants "Bullshit, before Gertner reveals that he does have a line and a lewd nickname for tonight's show. Joey then proceeds to interview Raven as the crowd chants "You ain't shit!" Raven says imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and says Justin Credible stole his look, his girl and his title. He then says Justin called him on the phone two days ago and quoted one of his heroes: "There's a warning sign on the road ahead / there's a lot of people saying we'd be better off dead / I don't feel like Satan, but I am to them / So I try to forget it any way I can." He then realized that Justin could never be him, because being called Satan bothers Justin while he enjoys it. Suddenly, Justin Credible and Dawn Marie show up, and Raven says "Get in the ring, bitch." When Dawn Marie tries to get in the ring, Raven then says "Not you...the bitch with the belt." This starts a brawl between Raven and Justin inside the ring, and after Raven sends Justin out of the ring, Dawn Marie gets in only for Raven to grab her. Dawn Marie hits Raven with a low blow before Justin strikes Raven with the Kendo Stick followed by That's Incredible. "The Innovator of Violence" then gets in the ring and chases Justin and Dawn Marie out of the ring and tries to fight Justin before security keeps both men and Dawn Marie separated while Raven is checked on in the ring by referees. Scotty Anton then gets in the ring alongside Cyrus and attacks Raven, and allows Cyrus to get the boots in on Raven as well. When referee H.C. Lowe tries to stop him, Cyrus chews him out, but when the ref says he is standing up to The Network, he gets beaten up before Anton puts him in the Sharpshooter. Cyrus then says he and Anton are here to give the fans "the clap," then he and Anton mockingly perform the American Males clap from WCW.

We hear from the Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido and Big Sal E. Graziano). Graziano says Mikey Whipwreck is dead, then Tony Mamaluke - formerly Tony Marinara in WCW - walks in only to get grabbed by Big Sal, saying he is in the wrong company and that he picked the wrong day to piss him off. When Mamaluke calls Little Guido "paisan," Guido takes offense to this, saying Mamaluke is a cheap rip-off of his Italian heritage. Mamaluke says he is "full-blooded," saying he never took anything from anybody. Guido decides to put Mamaluke's so-called full-blooded Italian heritage to the test and says "Let's see if you can handle it, paisan." Mamaluke then exercises with Guido's ropes after Guido leaves.

Kid Kash beats Grimes.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger is rubbing oil on himself when Simon Diamond shows up. Simon tells him they have a match tonight, then tells Mitch to turn off the fan. When Simon asks Swinger what he is doing, Swinger says he is posing for one of his biggest fans. Simon says he is the brains of the operation, but Swinger says his fan is blowing him. One of The Musketeers then show up and tries to fence with the fan, but Swinger tells him "Don't sing it, swing it!" before snapping his fingers and leaving with Mitch, who places a gold umbrella over his head as they leave. Simon Diamond wonders how he got into the mess he is in as The Prodigy and The Prodigette are both soaked in Johnny Swinger's oil.

Mikey Whipwreck beats Tony Mamaluke after Mamaluke lands on the back of his neck on the guardrail during a corkscrew dive from the top rope to the outside. After the match, Little Guido attacks Whipwreck, but Whipwreck counters a Tornado DDT into a Whippersnapper. Big Sal E. Graziano gets in the ring and grabs The Sinister Minister tries to blind Guido with a fireball, but Whipwreck throws powder into his eyes and shoves Mamaluke into Big Sal, who flattens Mamaluke with a sidewalk slam before throwing Mamaluke into the front row.

We hear from The Sinister Minster, who considers himself to be an expert on sinning. He says there are some sins he likes more than others, such as gluttony. He tells Big Sal E. Graziano is a glutton for punishment, as every time Mikey Whipwreck is within striking distance, there is a four-alarm fire, as Whipwreck has burned his face three times. He also says there are some sins that he refuses to grant absolution to, and one of them is stupidity, and says that Big Sal proved he is stupid for putting his hands on him. The Sinister Minsiter says Big Sal will learn the phrase "spontaneous human combustion" if he does it again, leading Whipwreck to say there is no such as spontaneous human combustion. The Sinister Minsiter then says "Liar, lair, pants on fire," before setting his pants on fire, then says Whipwreck not only gets spiritual guidance from him, but he also get "a fire lit under his ass."

We hear from ECW owner Paul Heyman, who takes the time to thank the fans for watching tonight's show. He says that the fans have to be fans to watch the show, as the network has not aired one commercial about their show and it is "their scheme of things." He says that in a few weeks, the network will give WWF owner and chairman Vince McMahon $100 million to replace ECW, and says that since ECW is not publicly funded like WWF or WCW, ECW survives and even thrives off the support of the fans, whom he thanks again. He then proceeds to shoot on TNN, saying ECW hates the network's guts for abandoning them, not supporting them, not advertising them and not having the balls to throw them off the air. He then dares the network to throw him off the air, saying he will break every rule they put in from of him until they do. He then tells TNN to spend the $100 million they get from Vince McMahon on attorneys, for the war has just begun.

"The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner takes the time to say hello to all of his executive friends at TNN who have been "incarcerated for smuggling underage farm animals across state lines for the purposes of sexual gratification" while being safe enough to pick the calves that didn't kick back. ECW owner Paul Heyman pops up and says "Are you ready to throw us off the air yet, pig fuckers?"

"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes shows up just before the next match to brawl with Steve Corino with a bullrope.

The Sandman vs. Rhino for the ECW World Television Championship ends in a no-contest. During the match, Jack Victory lays out "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, and The Sandman attacks Victory, Rhino and Steve Corino until the numbers game catches up to him. Suddenly, Dusty gets in the ring and makes the save for Sandman, but the numbers game catches up to him as well. Tajiri then gets in the ring and fights Victory, Rhino and Corino. Scotty Anton then joins Victory, Rhino and Corino in the brawl, then Rob Van Dam runs in to equal the odds. RVD fights off Rhino and Anton before taking out The Network (Corino, Rhino, Victory, Anton). Jerry Lynn shows up as the show ends.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for May 19, 2000

We hear from The Sinister Minister, who says that Hardcore Heaven has come and gone and that Jerry Lynn did the impossible and pinned Rob Van Dam in the ring. He also mentions Rhyno Goring The Sandman's wife Lori Fullington and Tajiri nearly making Steve Corino bleed to death. Mikey Whipwrecks rides up on a tricycle and says he sees dead people, but The Sinister Minister tells him that Brad Siegel has not fired Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo, whom he says are "just like [his] old friend Keith Richards" as they are dead and do not even know it yet.

Kid Kash beats Johnny Swinger. After the match, Little Guido and Big Sal E. Graziano show up, and Guido slams Kid Kash before Big Sal hits Kid Kash with a top rope diving headbutt. Mikey Whipwreck then gets in the ring and throws a fireball into Big Sal's face. This starts an impromptu match.

Mikey Whipwreck beats Little Guido.

We get a short recap of Hardcore Heaven.

We hear from Rob Van Dam, who tells Jerry Lynn that he took something that did not belong to him: a victory over him. He says that if he were to lose, it would to be against Jerry Lynn, but not in the way. He tells Scotty Anton and Cyrus he will deal with him, and tells Rhino that he will especially deal with him. He says that Hardcore Heaven was supposed to be his comeback match where he came back better than before he left, and before he left, he was the best. He says this is not just a win in the record books, but a win that will "come out of [Jerry Lynn's] ass" after he is done "kicking [his] fucking ass."

Danny Doring and Roadkill beat the team of Chris Chetti and Nova and Da Baldies (Angel and Big Vito). During the match, Steve Corino hijacks the commentary booth, saying that everybody wants to be hardcore and addresses Tajiri spilling his blood at Hardcore Heaven. After the match, Corino complains about Tajiri beating him up again, then Da Baldies attack Doring and Roadkill with a steel chair before slamming Roadkill through two chairs in the center of the ring. Suddenly, New Jack shows up with a couple of weapons and beats up Da Baldies.

Backstage, Jerry Lynn talks about his history with Rob Van Dam and says that both of them "got fucked with" at Hardcore Heaven. He says that his victory at Hardcore Heaven proves he is not just good; he is better.

Before the next match, Justin Credible tells Raven that he has beaten him from pillar to post all over the country and beaten him in the middle of the ring, and tonight, he will show him why he is the ECW World Heavyweight Champion. Meanwhile, Steve Corino torments Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner in the commentary booth, and Gertner gets Corino away from them by tricking Corino into believing that Tajiri is nearby.

Justin Credible retains the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against Raven. During the match, Credible rams Raven into referee Jim Molineaux, who is sandwiched in the corner. Francine gets on top of Raven, but Raven throws her off. Justin hits Justin Credible, but Raven gets his foot on the bottom rope. Raven goes for a Sunset Flip off the apron, but Justin grabs the ropes to pin Raven down and retain the title.

It is announced that Lori Fullington is still in the hospital and that her condition is unknown following Hardcore Heaven.

We hear from Cyrus and Rhino. Cyrus says he is tired of Extreme Championship Wrestling, and says that he used to work for Vince McMahon and might work for him again after a merger goes through. He is also mad because he has a tremendous athlete in Rhino who is put in the ring with drunks, decrepit idiots and their "whore wives" only for the two of them to be viewed as the bad guys. He plans to send ECW back to the stone age by paying Vince McMahon $100 million to come here just to get back at Paul Heyman and ECW, saying that Vince is "a goddamn saint." Rhino says he does not care if it is The Sandman, Lori Fullington, Tajiri, Super Crazy or Rob Van Dam, because if anyone wants the ECW World Television Championship, they will have to go through him.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for April 21, 2000

We hear from The Sinister Minister, who says that in Dante's The Divine Comedy, the ninth circle of Hell is reserved for the lowest of the low, those who have betrayed their benefactors, and the treacherous. He says that this place is where one is supposed to go to find the former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Mike Awesome. Mikey Whipwreck pops out of a garbage can and says he is a former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, but The Sinister Minister tells him to shut up and shoves his back, toppling even more garbage cans in the process, and tells him to go start a fire. Whipwreck starts repeating the word "fire" before running out of the room laughing. The Sinister Minister says that in last week's episode, a WCW-contracted wrestler lost the ECW World Heavyweight Championship to a WWF-contracted wrestler after interference by an ECW-contracted wrestler in an ECW ring. He says that this is extreme, then says that the wrestling pundits will want the viewers to believe that the events in the past week will pale in comparison to Cyberslam. In order for for that to happen, however, Cyberslam has to be to annual pay-per-view events what sexual homicide is to a good night kiss. He then says "I love you all...especially your souls," before laughing maniacally.

As Mikey Whipwreck lights cards on fire at a nearby table, Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner are about to welcome everyone to tonight's show before they notice what Whipwreck is doing. They then get back to welcoming everyone before welcoming The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) and Dawn Marie into the ring. After The Impact Players are told that they are only tag team champs due to Dawn Marie's constant interference and that Jazz has said she will rip Dawn Marie's head off, Dawn Marie says she is not afraid of Jazz or any other woman in the company or any other company, and tells Joey Styles to watch his mouth. Suddenly, Franicine runs into the ring, and is confronted by Justin Credible and his Singapore cane. Raven gets in the ring and holds Francine back, but Justin Credible uses this as an opportunity to start a brawl with Raven. All of a sudden, Mikey Whipwreck joins in on the match as Raven's tag team partner before referee Jim Molineaux shows up to referee the match, get it started and fall victim to an arm drag by Whipwreck, who then hits a tope con hilo to the outside.

The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) beat Raven and Mikey Whipwreck following a catfight between Dawn Marie and Francine which ends with Justin Credible hitting Francine in the stomach with a Singapore cane.

Cyrus is in the ring. He tells C.W. Anderson that nobody came to see him wrestle, and asks if people would rather see The Network or Electra's breasts. Electra, who just so happens to also be in the ring, takes off her jacket, much to the delight of the crowd. Cyrus says this is why he makes the decisions and the fans do not, and tells Elektra she has the night off and find some sex in the streets for a little bit of food money. Elektra yells at Cyrus, but Lou E. Dangerously shows up and tries to calm her down. Cyrus tells Lou E. Dangerously to get her and C.W. Anderson out of the ring, which he does, as he is in the ring on Network business. He talks about the legal side of the match between Mike Awesome and Tazz for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, then says that he has reviewed the contractual of each and every ECW performer and has learned that there is one person who has been coming to the shows while not under contract. Due to recent events, he can no longer be on television if he is not under contract, and that person is Scotty Anton. He asks what Rob Van Dam has done for everybody, citing what has happened to Sabu as of late, and says that while the people love Rob Van Dam, Rob Van Dam is a selfish man who "bogarts" television time faster than he does a marijuana joint. Suddenly, Scotty Anton shows up, and Cyrus stops him, telling him he is not under contract and in defiance of The Network. Instead of setting the lawyers on him, he will kick his ass in the ring and let the cameras roll. Anton gets in the ring, then Cyrus asks Anton is ready, as he is going to bend over for The Network like he does when he kisses RVD's ass. Anton grabs Cyrus, but he is attacked from behind by Rhino, starting an impromptu match.

Scotty Anton vs. Rhino ends with Rhino Goring referee Mike Kehner through Scotty Anton and a table. After the match, Rob Van Dam shows up with Bill Alfonso and fights Rhino, and ECW security and locker room members have to break up the brawl.

We see footage from during the commercial break where Rhino has to be dragged to the back. It is also announced that Scotty Anton has been taken to the hospital following the previous match.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer beats Steve Corino in a Texas Bull Rope match that turns into a violent six-man tag battle between Dreamer, The Sandman and New Jack vs. The Network (Corino, Jack Victory, Tajiri). During the match, Jack Victory attacks Tommy Dreamer, but The Sandman soon shows up with a ladder. Corino and Jack Victory then attack The Sandman as he makes his way into the ring, but The Sandman fights back with a Singapore cane and sends both Corino and Jack Victory into the ladder. The match becomes a tag team affair until Tajiri shows up and attacks The Sandman and Dreamer from Tajiri. The match then becomes a three-on-two beatdown until New Jack shows up with a garbage can full of weapons and goes to town on Corino, Jack Victory and Tajiri, at one point pulling out a staple gun and busting open Jack Victory with it. The action then takes place both in the ring and in the crowd, and it all ends in the ring with a top rope steel chair shot from New Jack, who gets the pinfall victory in an impromptu all-out war. After the match, Rhino runs in and beats up Dreamer, New Jack and The Sandman. Suddenly, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes shows up and hits bionic elbows on The Network as well as Rhino, who eventually gets smacked in the head with a Singapore cane by The Sandman. The Network is forced to retreat. The show ends with Dreamer, Dusty, New Jack and The Sandman celebrating in the ring.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for April 7, 2000

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to tonight's show, then interview Raven and Francine. Raven says that because of the levels of depravity he has obtained, he knows Joey Styles is wondering why he put a bounty on "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer's head. He then says that Styles puts too much stock on the Internet and dirt sheets, and says he has nothing to do with the bounty on Dreamer's head. When Styles tells Raven that he heard Da Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Grimes) say he did it, Francine tells Styles that she has known him for six years, and asks him who he is going to believe: her or Da Baldie. She also says she is a "Baldie" herself, but she can't show people on television. She then says that she knows who put the hit on Dreamer, and that she knows it is not Raven. When Styles guesses that Francine put out the hit, Francine tells Styles she never liked him anyway and chews him out for accusing her. Suddenly, Da Baldies show up, and Angel says Raven knows he put the hit on Dreamer, and asks if he smells fear on Raven. Raven says he smells his mom, and that is only because he had ten dollars on him. This leads to Raven receiving a beating from Da Balides while Styles he;ps Francine get out of the ring.

We hear from The Sinister Minister, who says that "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer rolled the dice of fate and crapped out, as word on the street says that Raven put the hit out on him. He says that Raven has the ethics of a weasel and the loyalty of a drowning rat, and this is why he likes him. However, he says Raven refutes that and that Raven always tells the truth when he lies. He says the only thing certain around here is that someone is pulling an awful lot of strings. As he laugs, the camear pans downwards as The Sinister Minister plays with giant puppet strings as a laughing Mikey Whipwreck - who is tied to the strings - is seen below.

Steve Corino beats Kid Kash. During the match, Kid Kash drop kicks Jack Victory into referee Mike Kehner, and this allows Rhino to gore Kid Kash on the second try after Kid Kash leaps after the first one.

Backstage, Big Sal E. Graziano says that he and Little Guido will bring the ECW World Television Championship back to the man who deserves it most. Suddenly, Cyrus shows up and gives Little Guido an opportunity, and tells him that his TV title match next week will be a three-way dance also involving Tajiri. He says that Tajiri is taken care of and that after Tajiri does all the work, Little Guido will be television champion. Little Guido says he can take Tajiri and Super Crazy, and that he can take everybody.

Backstage, Cyrus talks with Tajiri, telling him he is in a three-way dance for the ECW World Television Championship, and that he has made it so that Tajiri will win the TV title.

Super Crazy retains the ECW World Television Championship against Mikey Whipwreck. After the match, Little Guido attacks Super Crazy, and Tajiri gets in the ring and kicks the crap out of Little Guido before blinding Super Crazy with green mist.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer calls the bounty on his head a joke, then pulls out a wad of cash and says he will double whatever Raven is paying to get the job done. He wants to know why Raven does not want to face him one-on-one, as they have fought so many times before and they know each other like the back of their hands. He then says he hates the back of his hand right now, and says that if Raven can get out of his pill-induced stupor for one minute and realize that through failed gimmick and unsuccessful stays elsewhere, he is nothing with out him. As for Raven claiming he hates him but needs him as well as blaming his messed-up life on his father, if Raven could pull back his hear, pull out his piercings and look underneath his tattoos, he will realize he is a 36-year-old man who should finally realize the person he hates most is himself. He says that without him, there is no Raven.

Before the next match, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer says there are theree Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Grimes) and one of him, and that there is someone drunk enough in the audience who is ready to to take it to the extreme. The Sandman then shows up, and what is originally a one-on-one match between Dreamer and Angel is now a 3-on-2 handicap match. As Sandman walks around in the ring while Dreamer brings out some barbed wire.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman beat Da Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Grimes). During the match, Angel tells Dreamer that it is always three against one in a match with Da Baldies. All of a sudden, Raven shows up and fights off Da Baldies, and despite not being an official competitor in the match, he wins the match for Dreamer and The Sandman. After the match, Raven and Dreamer are about to go at it when Mike Awesome shows up with Judge Jeff Jones. Awesome says that Raven and Dreamer have no reason to have a problem with each other, as he knows for a fact that Raven did not put the hit out on Dreamer. Judge Jeff Jones also says Raven did not do it, then reveals he was the one who put the hit out. Awesome lays out Raven and Dreamer, then gets a table in the ring and puts Raven through it with an Awesome Bomb. Awesome then sets up another table in the corner, and puts Dreamer through it with another Awesome Bomb.

Judge Jeff Jones says that he put the bounty on "The Innovator of Violence' Tommy Dreamer simply for his own amusement after seeing the idea on old wrestling tapes, and even went so far as to blame Raven for the bounty. He also says that Raven did not even know about the bounty. Suddenly, Mike Awesome pushes Judge Jeff Jones into the corner and tells him to shut up, and that he wants his pay-off for kicking Tommy Dreamer's ass. Judge Jeff Jones gives him the money, then Awesome wants more money for taking out Raven. Judge Jeff Jones says the bounty was only for Dreamer, but Awesome pushes him back into the corner and Judge Jeff Jones gives him more money, anyway. Aweomse says he has money in his pocket, food on his plate and the ECW World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder because he is awesome.

We hear from some ECW wrestlers before the show comes to a close.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for February 11, 2000

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to tonight's show. Once again, Cyrus cuts Gertner off before he can finish his nasty nickname of the week, and this time, The Dupp Brothers (Bo and Jack Dupp) are with him. Cyrus says the network has more important things to deal with that Gertner getting himself over. Cyrus then talks about how Rob Van Dam has broken his leg, and says nobody feels worse about it than he does. Unfortunately, the network are not concerned about RVD's broken leg; instead, they are more concerned with advertisement revenue, live gate attendance and ratings. He says that the athletes of Rock 'n Bowl would never miss a booking, then says that the ECW World Television Championship must be defended on television on TNN, as the show is a lead-in for Rollerjam. Cyrus declares that the World Television title will be defended tonight, RVD's leg injury notwithstanding, as Rollerjam must go on. He has now made an executive decision that Spike Dudley will step in and defend the title in RVD's place against The Dupps. He then says he can do whatever he wants, because he is the network. Spike Dudley gets in the ring, then hits both of The Dupp Brothers with the Acid Drop for the easy win.

Raven talks with Mikey Whipwreck backstage. He asks Mikey to talk to "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer, even though he is wrestling him tonight, and make it painfully clear to him that what is going on between him and Francine is nothing to ruin their friendship over. Raven calls this "an intervention," and asks Mikey to make Dreamer understand that they are best friends and what is going on between him and Francine is not an issue. Mikey tells Raven they are on the same page. Raven leaves, then Mikey says to someone off-camera that Raven is "one weird dude." We then see The Sinister Minister, who says that Raven would make the perfect disciple. Mikey and The Sinister Minister then laugh maniacally.

We hear from New Jack and Balls Mahoney. New Jack tells Da Baldies (Angel, Tony DeVito, Grimes) that they are one step ahead of them, and if they want to them, they will show them what side of the street they will play on: the ragged side across the tracks with the ragged house, muggers and pushers. They are going to do something to them that the human mind cannot imagine, and tells Da Baldies not to take credit for him breaking his foot, and that was him trying to take them out. If they still want them, they will turn the temperature up just a little bit, and when Da Baldies play with fire, they will get burned. It is then announced that Balls Mahoney and New Jack will take on Da Baldies next week.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer beats Mikey Whipwreck. During the match, The Sinister Minister shows up, and it becomes obvious to Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner that The Sinister Minister is taking advantage of Mikey's vulnerable state. Mike grabs the microphone and says that he is not a baby just because he is 39 and lives in his mother's flat, then hits Dreamer with the microphone multiple times. Dreamer grabs the microphone and tells Mikey "You're right, Mikey! You're not a baby! You're a fucking pussy!" before hitting him with the microphone and taking him into the stands. Later on in the match, The Sinister Minister pulls Dreamer out of a pinfall attempt after the Dramer Driver, then gets confronted by Francine. The Sinister Minister tries to make peace with her by shaking hards, but Francine kicks him in the groin as soon as he turns his back, then hits him with the Bronco Buster. Mikey grabs Francine from behind, but Dreamer grabs Mikey. Mikey kicks Dreamer in the groin, then hits a superkick. After a near-fall, Mikey checks on The Sinister Minister, then Raven gets in the ring. Dreamer ducks when Mikey throws some powder, which hits Raven. A blinded Raven then walks into Francine, and inadvertently Evenflow DDTs her to the mat. Dramer pummels Raven in the corner, then Mikey goes for a schoolboy pin for a two-count. Dreamer then hits the Spicolli Driver on Mikey, then beats the crap out of Raven again. Mikey tries to hit the Whippersnapper on Dreamer, but Dreamer counters it into a DDT for the win.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer is seen backstage looking for Francine. One of the guys backstage seated a table jokes around, saying "I don't know, probably banging Raven." Dreamer proceeds to beat the crap out of the guy. Members of the locker room have to hold Dreamer back and tell him that Francine is at the hospital. Mitch then tells Dreamer that Raven could not see Francine when he hit her with the Evenflow DDT, as he had powder thrown into his eyes. Dreamer throws Mitch into a nearby steel door, then tells him "Next time, speak when spoken [to]."

Justin Credible vs. Raven ends when "The Sexiest Man Alive" Jason and Lance Storm get involved in the match and Storm and Credible drive Raven head-first into a steel chair with a double-team spike piledriver. "Dastardly" Danny Doring and Roadkill run into the ring and fight off Storm and Credible.

After the commercial break, Paul Heyman pushes The Sinister Minister away as he and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes check on Raven. Cyrus then gets in the ring, and tells Dusty to get Raven out of the ringbecause this is about the network, not the wrestler. Dusty confronts Cyrus, telling him it is about the boys and not the network. Cyrus tells Dusty not to "kayfabe him" about the boys, and says he knows just as well as he does that it is about the network, telling him that the sucking sound he is hearing is money flowing out of the network. He says ratings are falling and channels are changing, but Dusty takes the microphone and he does not have to stand out here and listen to him talk about the network, as it is not about the network or the ratings, but the boys who put their lives on the line every night while guys like Cyrus have a job. He then Cyrus to tell the network to call him next week, and says he came to ECW for one reason: he got drawn in and got his ass kicked by "the young Turks" of ECW because it was all about the boys. He says that the wrestlers in the locker room are a bunch of somebodies who pay Cyrus' bills, and that they are all one thing: the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Dusty then says that he is here because "people gave a shit about what he did" for 30 years. He then says he says he does not want to hear about the network, then thanks the fans for giving back to him. Suddenly, Steve Corino shows up, but Dusty tells Corino he is through with him. Corino asks Dusty if he is afraid of him revealing the real truth about the real Dusty Rhodes, but Dusty reminds Corino that he has already laid him out. Corino swipes at Dusty's hat when Dusty turns around, and Dusty takes the hat off before telling Corino "Somebody oughta punch you in the nose, but I ain't...the hell I ain't!" He then punches Corino in the nose before hitting a bionic elbow on Cyrus. Jack Victory runs out, but he also get a bionic elbow. Rhino runs into the ring as Dusty continues to punch Corino and lays Dusty out, then Jack Victory tries to choke Dusty out with a bullrope while Corino puts Dusty in a Figure Four Leg Lock and Rhino continues to stomp on him. The Sandman shows up to end the show.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for February 4, 2000

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to tonight's show. Cyrus is seen before Gertner can express his dirty nickname of the week, and says everyone must be as tired as he is of looking at some biscuit-fed porker getting himself over at the expense of the talent, and threatens to send him to Rock 'n Bowl and have him do a one-legged chicken dance every time somebody gets a spare. In his promotion in Canada, this was not tolerated, and says that Gertner was heat not only with the boys in the back and the office, but also the network, and he does not want heat with the network. Suddenly, Bill Alfonso and Rob Van Dam show up, and Rob Van Dam confronts Mike Awesome in his dressing room. Both men brawl, and Spike Dudley shows up and hits "Judge" Jeff Jones with an Acid Drop before referees rush in to restore order and get the camera out of the dressing room. Cyrus says that the network will not tolerate this sort of violence, and demands that the producers roll the show's opening sequence.

"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes' tag team partner is revealed to be "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer.

The Sinister Minister is seen talking to Raven, who asks why "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer needs Francine to formulate a strategy for him and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. He believes that Dreamer does not want to talk to him. Suddenly, Paul Heyman tells The Sinister Minister to leave Raven alone, then asks Raven what his problem is. Raven says that at least The Sinister Minister is listening to him, and Raven asks why either Heyman or anyone else in his family refuses to listen to him. Heyman tells the cameraman to put the camera down, then tells Raven that this has to stop. He says he does not sin against anyone but himself, and that he has been sacrificed for both Tommy Dreamer and Francine's sins, and that Raven has to snap out of it. Raven says he ready to just snap altogether, and that he will sin against himself. Heyman says he will not help him if he goes down this path, but Raven asks "Have you ever helped me before?"

Before the next match, Steve Corino tells "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer that they have been through this many times, and nobody here wants to see him destroy Dreamer again. Since Rhino single-handedly destroyed Dreamer last week, he wants Dreamer to turn around and tag "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes - whom he proceeds to insult again - into the match, as tonight is his night. Dreamer refuses, and Corino demands he does this or else he will sic Rhino on him so badly that he will never be able to make another television appearance. Dreamer tags Dusty in this time, and the match begins.

"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer beat Rhino and Steve Corino. Early in the match, Dusty gets Rhino in a Figure Four Leg Lock, and when Jack Victory gets in the ring, he gets one from Dreamer. Corino then gets in the ring, but gets put in a Figure Four Leg Lock by Francine.

The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm), Dawn Marie and "The Sexiest Man Alive" Jason are seen in a hot tub. Storm says The Impact Players want to defend the ECW World Tag Team Championships night in and night out, but they also do not want to demean them by defending the titles against "inferior talent." They are waiting for the right team to step up. Credible tells all the other teams to kill each other, and when a good enough team steps up, they will let everyone know. Dawn Marie tries to get naked for national television, but Jason beats her to the punch.

We hear from "Dastardly" Danny Doring, Roadkill and Electra. Doring says things are heating up, and everyone wants a shot at tag team gold. They are no exception, and they are the team most deserving of the titles and the money, fame and women that comes with them. When Doring mentions the women, however, Electra gets upset and tells him not to forget where he came from when he and Roadkill win the tag team titles, then grabs him by the "Danaconda" and tells him he will snap his manhood off if he does. He then tells Dawn Marie that if she thinks she is half the women she is, she will kick her ass the next time she sees her.

Mikey Whipwreck looks into a mirror and says he is not a baby, and says all the mothers will be happy because their kids will grow up to be like him, as he was talented enough to pin 2 Cold Scorpio for the Television title, hardcore enough to carry Cactus Jack to the tag team titles and extreme enough to take the World title from The Sandman. After tonight, all his friends in the locker room will propose a hot cocoa toast for him when he beats Rob Van Dam and wins the Television title again.

Rob Van Dam retains the ECW World Television Championship against Mikey Whipwreck after having Bill Alfonso sit under him in the corner as he hits the Five Star Frog Splash.

We see Mike Awesome in the parking lot. He tells Spike Dudley and Rob Van Dam that his manager "Judge" Jeff Jones is being loaded up in the ambulance right now. He tells them both to get on their knees and pray he is okay, because if he is not, he will break both of their backs and end their careers.

The show ends with late breaking news narrated by Paul Heyman, who announces that Rob Van Dam has suffered a broken leg during a match in Orlando, Florida hours after this episode was taped, and that further information is available right now on ECWWrestling.com. Further details and a full discussion on the ramifications of this event will take place next week on ECW on TNN.

Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for December 31, 1999

Lance Storm tells "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer to pray that his savior resurrect himself before Easter and by Guilty As Charged, because whether he comes alone or with his crucified savior, he and Justin Credible will take the tag team titles away from them. Justin then says that if you think The Impact Players (Justin, Storm) have no conscience, then they are guilty as charged.

We see footage of the end of last week's main event.

Raven says he has been crucified for the sins of his compassion, his humanity and his past. By the flesh of his flesh and the blod of his blood, he will be crucified nevermore.

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to the show. Suddenly, Mikey Whipwreck shows up. Before he can say much, however, The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm), "The Sexiest Man Alive" Jason and Dawn Marie show up. Storm tells Mikey that tonight is his lucky night and his chance to make an impact, as he has a bunch of cash for him if he can take somebody out tonight. Storm tells Mikey he sold out once and he'll sell out again. Styles tells Mikey he is no sell-out, but Mikey says he made more money than him in WCW and that his mom is happy with him for putting all his money in his piggy bank. Storm then tells Mikey that he is taking out Raven, who shows up after Jason shows Mikey the money.

Raven beats Mikey Whipwreck with a snot rag followed by the Evenflow DDT. During the match, Mikey gets on the microphone and says that he is not a baby just because he is 26 and lives at home with his mom. After the match, Raven fights off The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) but falls victim to the numbers game until "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer runs in with a steel chair.

Backstage, Francine tells "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer that Raven is down and needs their help. Dreamer does not want to help him as he is okay after earlier, and Francine says that if Dreamer will not help him, she will.

Next week: "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. Justin Credible in a Stairway To Hell Match!

We see Masato Tanaka getting ready backstage, while "Judge" Jeff Jones tells Mike Awesome that tonight is the night that he takes back the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Mike Awesome tells Jones he is concentrating as Jones tells him he is still the champion and that he is the man.

Tajiri beats Super Crazy.

Masato Tanaka has words for Mike Awesome in his native Japanese. Mike Awesome says he is ready and that he is taking back the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.

Mike Awesome beats Masato Tanaka with a top rope Awesome Bomb to become the ECW World Heavyweight Champion for a second time! After the match, Spike Dudley shows up and fights Mike Awesome, but "Judge" Jeff Jones hits Spike Dudley with his gavel to stop the Acid Drop. Suddenly, Spike Dudley's fan hits the Acid Drop on Jones, but Mike Awesome takes her out with a clothesline, and referee Jim Molineaux and a member of the ringside crew have to shield the groupie, who ends up suffering from internal bleeding. Spike fights back against Mike Awesome, but when he goes for an Acid Drop, Mike Awesome throws him into a table to end the show.

The New Blackjacks (Blackjack Mulligan and Blackjack Bradshaw) beat The Godwinns (Henry O. and Phineas I. Godwinn) despite Phineas having his foot on the bottom rope. Another referee shows up to explain what happened, but the referee of the match refuses to change his mind and gets the Godwinn's bucket of slop poured on him as a result. During the match, UFC Champion Ken Shamrock is seen in the front row.

After the commercial break, The Eliminators (John Kronus and Perry Saturn) hit Total Elimination on a random guy in the ring. Paul E. Dangerously is seen getting in the ring and saying "Your challenge has been answered! ECW is in the house!" to a joyous Manhattan Center crowd. Extreme Championship Wrestling has taken over Raw.

After a second commercial break, Paul E. Dangerously introduces Little Guido of the Full Blooded Italians. The bWo - the Blue World Order (The Blue Guy, Big Stevie Cool, "Hollywood" Nova and 7-11), an ECW parody of - shows up as Paul E. Dangerously guests on commentary for part of the show. Big Stevie Cool tells Jerry "The King" Lawler that they have only three words for him: "We're taking over!" The Blue Guy tells Lawler "Say hello to The Blue Guy" before Little Guido gets the match started over. Raven shows up not long after the match begins. From the back, Goldust says he is the premiere in the WWF, and everyone else "is just B-movies." He says that Marlena is here to do her job 110%, and that he is here to watch her so that the mystery woman who attacked Marlena doesn't interfere in Marlena's arm wrestling match with Sunny.

Big Stevie Cool beats Little Guido.

Sunny says Marlena's ribs may be hurting, which makes her job a lot easier. She plans to make the arm wrestling match Marlena's final scene.

The Honky Tonk Man is in the ring to officiate the arm wrestling match between Marlena and Sunny. Sunny is introduced first, and she teases taking off her white robe to the crowd before taking it off entirely. When Marlena shows up, Sunny allows Marlena the opportunity to forfeit due to recent events. Marlena says she's glad to see that Sunny has "stopped working 42nd long enough to be with us tonight" and that while a forfeit would be smart for her, she would get off her deathbed before she would forfeit to Sunny. After several false starts from Sunny, the arm wrestling match happens at last, but Sunny cheats at the last second by throwing powder into Marlena's face. Savio Vega, who is now dressed very similarly to Faarooq and now wearing darker clothing, puts his hand on Marlena, but Goldust shows up and attacks Savio Vega, starting their match early.

Puerto Rican wrestling superstar Miguel Perez guests on commentary, bemoaning the man that Savio Vega has become after joining The Nation of Domination. Sunny is also ringside with the rest of The Nation of Domination.

Goldust beats Savio Vega by disqualification when Crush interferes. Miguel Perez jumps into the ring and fights off both Savio Vega and Crush after the match.

Next Monday, Raw is coming from Berlin, Germany.

We look back at Jerry "The King" Lawler's interview with Tiny Tim from the July 19, 1993 episode of Raw. Jerry "The King" Lawler then introduces Ken Shamrock, whom he interviews from the front row. Lawler talks about his background with Shamrock and how he taught him to become a champion, but it is obvious from Shamrock that Lawler is lying. Shamrock tells Lawler he doesn't know him as Lawler tells him to talk about how he taught him the submission holds he knows, then calls him a liar. Lawler walks away after that.

The 1997 Slammy Awards are taking place live on USA Network on Friday, March 21 at 11 PM Eastern, 10 PM Central. You can now cast your vote for who will win!

After the commercial break, Paul Heyman says "Man, has this show sucked without ECW or what?" He then introduces Mikey Whipwreck and Tazz. During the match, Faarooq says that tonight will be the same thing it is always been for him, and when he gets The Undertaker in the ring, The Undertaker will feel pain and need an undertaker of his own. He then tells Ahmed Johnson that he is not the streets and that he is running scared, and when he gets him in the ring at WrestleMania, he will feel his wrath. Shortly after the interviews with Faarooq, Sabu is seen jumping off the "R" in "Raw" on top of Tazz' security detail, but is quickly apprehended by the detail and taken to the back.

Tazz beats Mikey Whipwreck with the Tazzmission.

The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal) make a surprise appearance to take on The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh). During the match, the pro-ECW crowd make several anti-WCW chants such as "Nitro sucks!", "Hogan sucks!" and "Bischoff sucks!" Also, on option 4 of the WWF Superstar Line, you can find out what brought the Legion of Doom back to the WWF and what impact their return will have on WrestleMania 13. Paul Heyman introduces D-Von Dudley, who is carrying a chair in the ring with Sign Guy Dudley. He also introduces D-Von Dudley's opponent, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer, accompanied by Beulah McGillicutty.

"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer beats D-Von Dudley after Beulah McGillicutty, whom both D-Von and Sign Guy Dudley get their hands on and bring into the ring, kicks D-Von in the crotch to allow Dreamer to hit D-Von with one last chair shot. During the match, Paul E. Dangerously and Jerry "The King" Lawler have a nasty argument on commentary in which Lawler heavily derides Extreme Championship Wrestling, with . In the back, The Undertaker says the march to WrestleMania with The Nation of Domination, who will all be laid aside. Also, the only thing standing between him and Sycho Sid is time. After the match, Buh-Buh Ray Dudley shows up to attack Dreamer from behind so he and D-on , and The Sandman comes out of the crowd to spit beer and celebrate only to be attacked by The Dudleys as well. The Sandman, however, fights back ECW-style, and stands tall in the ring with Dreamer. Paul E. Dangerously plugs Barely Legal, which is on pay-per-view on April 13th, then heads away from the commentary table only to turn back around and get after Lawler. Vince McMahon and the ECW locker room have to hold Paul E. and Lawler back.

Jerry "The King" Lawler angrily tells ECW to come back anytime, and that the next time he comes within inches of Paul E. Dangerously, he will shove his fist down his throat.

Ken Shamrock is interviewed again, this time by Todd Pettengill. Shamrock says he is enjoying himself tonight, then introduces his wife Tina and his father Bob. Shamrock then predicts that The Undertaker will win at WrestleMania 13, saying that he has a little more technique and balance. He also predicts that the submission match between Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be a very close match, and that he can't pick between either guy. Pettengill then asks the crowd who will win, but the interview is cut short by the entrance of The Nation of Domination. Faarooq stares at Ken Shamrock for a few seconds, then raises his hand and cuts the music. Faarooq slams UFC, calling it "catfighting," and tells Shamrock that he is in the WWF, where cats grow up to be tigers. He tells Shamrock to get in the ring with him if he thinks he's a man. Shamrock calls Faarooq out on having The Nation around him at all times as well as The Nation for being a bunch of people who intimidates others, and calls the rest of The Nation "[Faarooq's] goons" as he tells Faarooq that a real man stands on his own two feet. He tells Faarooq that he has two left feet, and that if Vince wants to put something on the line, he'll gladly step in the ring as long as Faarooq keeps the rest of The Nation out of it.

The Undertaker beats Faarooq by disqualification after the rest of The Nation of Domination interferes. The Undertaker gets some unexpected assistance from The Legion of Doom (Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal) as the show ends.
