Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for July 15, 2015

Pentagon Jr. tells Dario Cueto that he and his Master don't care about the Aztec Medallions, and that if they did, he'd break Cueto's arm and take them all. As for Vampiro, he will make him face him...or Vampiro will face extreme bodily harm. As for the Master, he will reveal himself and who he is in time.

Despite the interference attempt by Big Ryck, Bengala beats Delavar Daivari to win one of the seven Aztec Medallions. After the match, Vampiro enters the ring with a microphone in his hand.

Vampiro tells the crowd that he's had a long career in professional wrestling, and talks about how Pentagon Jr. is pushing him into one more match. As he does, Pentagon Jr. shows up and tells Vampiro to "stop talking crap" and answer his challenge and face him at Ultima Lucha. After making fun of his own real name, Pentagon Jr. gets his answer: Vampiro's kicking his ass.

Sexy Star is in the locker room when she finds Super Fly's mask in her bag. The memories of what Pentagon Jr. did to Super Fly after she unmasked him suddenly come back. She leaves the mask along with the rest of her belongings.

King Cuerno beats Killshot by submission to win one of the seven Aztec Medallions.

Sexy Star quickly beats Super Fly by submission to win one of the seven Aztec Medallions. After the match, Marty "The Moth" Martinez shows up and takes the Medallion, saying the moth on the Medallion represents his tribe. He wants a shot to take the medallion back to his people. Sexy Star is all to eager to answer his challenge.

Sexy Star beats Marty "The Moth" Martinez with the Fujiwara Arm Bar to keep her Aztec Medallion.

Texano will take on Blue Demon Jr. at Ultima Lucha. Also at Ultima Lucha, the Trios Tag Team Championships are on the line as Ivelisse, Son of Havoc and Angelico defend the titles against The Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte and Terce).

Dario Cueto is in the ring. He announces that Prince Puma and Mil Muertes have a face-off right now. Prince Puma and Mil Muertes show up, with Konnan and Catrina conspicuously absent at Cueto's insistence. As they stare down, Catrina shows up, and it becomes obvious she is calling out The Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte and Terce), who show up with a coffin - the same one Fenix placed Mil Muertes in. This starts a brawl between Puma and Mil Muertes, with Puma throwing the first punch. Konnan shows up and tries to make the save, but he is taken down by Mil Muertes, as is Puma. Konnan is pushed into the coffin, and Catrina shuts the coffin door as Mil Muertes takes down Prince Puma.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for July 8, 2015

Pentagon Jr. talks to his Master. He tells his Master than Ian Hodgkinson - the real name for Vampiro - will be his sacrifice.

The Mack beats Cage in an upset win.

Son of Havoc is in the locker room when he runs into Catrina. Catrina has a message for him: the Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte and Terce) will be after the Trios titles, but tonight, Mil Muertes is coming for him. Ivelisse shows up and tells her to back off, but Catrina disappears and Ivelisse is on top of Son of Havoc. Angelico walks in on this and it all gets awkward.

Vampiro interviews Pentagon Jr. He apologizes for injecting himself between him and Sexy Star. Pentagon Jr. is hush-hush about who his Master is, but knows that he is just like him back when he was younger. Nevertheless, Pentagon wants to know if Vampiro is still Vampiro or a coward, and Vampiro says his time has come and gone and Pentagon's time is now. This doesn't keep Pentagon Jr. from calling him weak and pathetic before leaving the interview in a foul mood.

Mil Muertes beats Son of Havoc after Catrina and the Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte and Terce) attack Ivelisse and Angelico respectively outside of the ring.

Texano is in the ring. He hasn't always been a nice dude, but he's always been Mexicano. He likes breaking bones and whipping asses, and knows he's untrustworthy, but he'll never turn on the Mexican people. He tells Chavo Guerrero he hates him, and says he wants to settle the score at Ultima Lucha, even if he has to break his other leg. He is then ambushed from behind by The Crew (Mr. Cisco and Cortez Castro), but is rescued by Blue Demon Jr...who is then passed a steel chair by The Crew which he uses to bust open Texano's forehead. Blue Demon Jr. then tells Texano's that he is Mexico and not Texano, and that Texano will be facing him at Ultima Lucha, proving that Chavo Guerrero's words to Blue Demon Jr in the locker room at the end of the last episode have taken effect.

Hernandez vs. Drago is announced for Ultima Lucha before the next match.

Team Johnny (Johnny Mundo, Jack Evans, Super Fly, Hernandez) beats Team Alberto (Alberto El Patron, Sexy Star, Drago, Aerostar) in an Atomicos match.

Prince Puma and Mil Muertes will meet face-to-face next week.

Pentagon Jr. attacks Vampiro from behind and hits him with a steel chair. He then dedicates his next sacrifice to his Master as he plans to destroy Vampiro by dousing him in gasoline and telling him that if he doesn't accept his challenge for Ultima Lucha, he'll set him on fire in front of his family and the entire world.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for June 24, 2015

Johnny Mundo vs. Alberto El Patron is confirmed for Ultima Lucha.

Vampiro recently interviewed Super Fly. He says Sexy Star stole her mask, so he decided to steal something from her in the form of Pentagon Jr. injuring her, and tells Vampiro he kept that from happening. Vampiro says she beat him, but he doesn't care. Dario Cueto has authorized a rematch, and he plans to "put her in her place."

Super Fly beats Sexy Star, then attacks her after the match.

We see Dragon practice with some nunchaku.

When Pentagon Jr. shows up for his match, he rips the match away from the announcer. He's more interested in pleasing his master than getting an Aztec Medallion. He wants to destroy the man who took away his greatest sacrifice to his master, who just so happens to be Vampiro. He calls him out, but Vampiro doesn't budge. Pentagon Jr. approaches the commentary table, after several seconds, grabs him by the shirt collar only to get pushed back with authority. The referee stops a potential brawl from happening, but Vampiro gets a ton of respect from the crowd. Pentagon Jr. exits, the next match (for an Aztec Medallion) becomes a four-way instead of a five-way, and Vampiro is absolutely pissed.

Aerostar beats Cage, The Mack and Marty "The Moth" Martinez to win the third Aztec Medallion.

Ivelisse, Son of Havoc and Angelico are training - and arguing - when Catrina shows up. She tells them that death will come and claim all three of them, then The Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte, Terce) show up and lay them out. After that, Catrina leaves with Mil Muertes.

Hernandez beats and chokes Drago with a belt before his match with Mil Muertes.

Mil Muertes beats Drago to earn the right to face Prince Puma for the Lucha Underground Championship at Ultima Lucha. After the match, Konnan and Prince Puma stare at Mil Muertes and Catrina from the top row stairway.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for April 8, 2015

Dario Cueto talks with Konnan and Prince Puma. Puma must find two partners, as he has been put in the Trios Championship Tournament. Puma will be facing King Cuerno tonight, and Cuerno's two partners will more than likely be joining tonight. Cueto tells Puma and Konnan before they leave that the Lucha Underground title will be on the line tonight.

Ivelisse, Son of Havoc and Angelico beat Drago, Aerostar and Fenix to continue on in the Trios Title Tournament, despite internal dissent on both sides as Drago and Aerostar quarrel with one another due to their Best of Seven Series and Ivelisse is still angry at both Son of Havoc and Angelico.

Konnan tells Prince Puma that Hernandez is on his team. When Konnan goes to look for another partner, his hunt is stopped by Johnny Mundo, who says that Prince Puma has recruited him and that he'll be in Puma's corner against King Cuerno. Konnan is incensed, telling Puma that he can't trust Mundo, and that if Hernandez doesn't split his wig for getting out of line, he will.

Dario Cueto makes Sexy Star vs. Super Fly a mask vs. mask match, calling Sexy Star saving Super Fly from Pentagon Jr. last week an "act of mercy" and making it a Lucha de Apuestas bout to ensure that there is no mercy between them.

Sexy Star beats Super Fly in a Mask vs. Mask match, causing Super Fly to unmask. After Sexy Star removes the mask, the respect is shortlived as Pentagon Jr. rushes in, knocks Sexy Star out of the ring and breaks Super Fly's arm before Sexy Star can make the save.

King Cuerno's partners for the Trios Title Tournament are Cage and Texano.

Prince Puma retains the Lucha Underground Championship against King Cuerno with the help of Hernandez, which Puma doesn't exactly want. After the match, Cage and Texano brawl with Johnny Mundo and Hernandez.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for April 1, 2015

Big Ryck enters Dario Cueto's office with two men: Killshot and Ryck's cousin, The Mack. He has realized The Crew (Mr. Cisco, Bael, Cortez Castro) attacked him because Cueto put a hit on him. Cueto mentions that there is a new Trios title in Lucha Underground, and he wants the three of them to win it. The threesome also get some money from Cueto when Ryck tells him "You know what I want."

Johnny Mundo beats Angelico.

Our mystery woman tells us about her kidnapper: El Dragon Azteca, who claims to be a descendant of one of the original Aztec tribes who just so happened to be there when the person (or in her words, "that monster") she was looking for killed her parents. For the past month, he has stopped her from making a deadly mistake and has taught her Lucha Libre for the day that she avenges her parents' deaths.

Johnny Mundo is congratulated by Alberto El Patron in the locker room...but El Patron saying that he forgot about Mundo entirely and that he thought Mundo gave up wrestling causes some tension between the two.

Dario Cueto asks Sexy Star to be part of the Trios title tournament. He gives her new partners tonight: Super Fly and Pentagon Jr. Her opponents? Big Ryck, The Mack and Killshock.

Drago beats Aerostar to tie it up with two wins apiece in their Best of Five Series. Both men shake hands and stare down after the match.

Dario Cueto has Angelico, Ivelisse and Son of Havoc in his office. He puts them in the Trios tournament as a combined unit after calling their singles careers in Lucha Underground "embarrassing."

Pentagon Jr. calls his partners Sexy Star and Super Fly "weak" before telling his master that he will win the Trios titles himself before their match.

Big Ryck, Killshot and The Mack beat Pentagon Jr., Sexy Star and Super Fly to advance to the next round in the Trios Title Tournament. After the match, Pentagon Jr. tries to take his anger out on Super Fly by breaking his arm, but Sexy Star stops him before he can do it.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for February 18, 2015

Mil Muertes beats Chavo Guerrero by disqualification when Chavo hits Mil Muertes with a steel chair as Muertes is distracted by Catrina. It doesn't work, and Mil Muertes blows Chavo away. Muertes commands Catrina to give Chavo the lick of death, but Catrina resists. Muertes responds to her defiance by trying to slam her through the chair, but Fenix shows up and attacks Mil Mertes before rescuing Catrina. Catrina then kisses Fenix on the lips.

The mystery woman is backstage...

Dario Cueto tells Cortez Castro, Mr. Cisco and Bael that they have impressed him, especially with their attack on Big Ryck. Cueto gives them a main event spot, but tells them they'll have to prove themselves to stay at main event status. Cueto pits them against Sexy Star, Pimpinella Escarlata and Mascarita Sagrada, whom he deems "three underdogs who should have never survived his temple," in a no-disqualification match, and orders them to hurt them so badly that they never return to Lucha Underground.

Ivelisse is in the ring with Son of Havoc. Ivelisse is displeased with Havoc's losses as of late, however, and decides to rectify this by calling out Angelico himself so that he fights his rematch for him, telling Angelico he's facing "the baddest bitch in this building."

Ivelisse beats a reluctant Angelico (who doesn't want to fight her) thanks to assistance from Son of Havoc. Ivelisse doesn't want to acknowledge it, however. Angelico takes the match and tells Ivelisse that if she wants to go one-on-one without her boyfriend, it'll be his pleasure.

Before the next match, we see El Vampiro's interview with Texano, He insists that Alberto El Patron stole the AAA World Heavyweight Championship from him, and says that he is here to reclaim the world title.

Texano quickly beats Super Fly. After the match, Alberto El Patron shows up and brawls with Texano and attacks him with his own bullrope until officials have to separate Alberto from Texano. Alberto causes the officials to scatter with the bullwhip, causing Texano to get out of dodge.

Cage shows up in Dario Cueto's office, demanding he be declared Lucha Underground Champion. Cueto puts him in another non-title match with Prince Puma next week, and if he wins, he's #1 contender. Chavo Guerrero shows up right after this, saying that Mexico has gotten what they wanted, and that he's out of here. Cueto tells him that he wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors, and that the doors to his temple are always open.

The mystery woman finds what she's looking for...but is soon abducted.

Sexy Star, Pimpinella Escarlata and Mascarita Sagrada beat The Crew (Mr. Cisco, Cortez Castro, Bael), after The Crew is distracted by Big Ryck, who shows up wearing an eyepatch over his right eye. During the match, The Crew attack Pimpinella Escarlata and Mascarita Sagrada to the point that they have to helped out of the ring.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for January 28, 2015

The show begins with Cage training backstage. Dario Cueto is impressed with his aggressiveness, and and when he tells Cage that Prince Puma is defending the Lucha Underground title against him tonight, Cage tells him Puma's losing the title tonight, because he's a machine. Dario Cueto says "We'll see."

Fenix gets a surprise victory against Mil Muertes by executing an inside cradle after Mil Muertes hits a top rope superplex.

We see more of what makes Cage tick as we see him fight off three men in the streets, with foreign objects such as beer bottles and wooden crates having absolutely no effect on him.

Bael, Cortez Castro and Mr. Cisco beat Aerostar, Argenis and Super Fly in a well-received six-man tag match.

Vampiro interviews Konnan and Prince Puma. Konnan does all the speaking, bragging about how Puma won the Aztec Warfare battle royal and talks about Cage attacking Puma from behind. He says that Cage will end up in the hospital, and that while Cage has brawn, he lacks brains. At this point, Vampiro is ticked off with Konnan for shooting his mouth off and not letting Puma speak, and the two almost come to blows. Prince Puma has to break the potential brawl up.

Prince Puma retains the Lucha Underground Championship by disqualification against Cage after Cage pushes the referee and kicks Puma in the crotch in plain sight of the referee. After the bell has rung, Konnan tries to save Prince Puma by hitting Cage with his cane, but Cage demolishes Konnan and hits him with the Lucha Underground title before ripping the title in half. Konnan is bleeding from his forehead as Cage flexes for the crowd to flaunt his physical dominance. Officials have to help Konnan as Puma looks at his now torn title.

The mystery woman we've seen since the show's premiere confronts Dario Cueto. She's looking for somebody by the name of "Matanza." Dario Cueto knows nothing about this "Matanza," and the mystery woman disappears as quickly as she arrived, like the wind.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for January 21, 2015

Cortez Castro and Mr. Cisco beat Pimpinella Escarlata and Mascarita Sagrada. After the match, Big Ryck, who has been watching the match, makes it clear that he's going after the Lucha Underground Championship and will crush anyone for it, including his own men. Castro, Mr. Cisco and Bael take offense to this and turn on him, attacking him from behind and burning him in the eye with his own cigar, before walking into Dario Cueto's office.

Dario Cueto pays Mr. Cisco, Castro Cortez, and Bael under the table for turning on Big Ryck.

Vampiro interviews Cage. Cage says he doesn't give care what anybody thinks of him, and he isn't going to wait his turn to take the Lucha Underground Championship.

Pentagon Jr. beats Super Fly. After the match, Pentagon Jr. calls Chavo Guerrero "a fraud," and says there is somebody willing to join forces with him when Chavo left him high and dry.

Sexy Star beats El Mariacho Loco.

King Cuerno beats Drago in a Last Luchador Standing match after tying Drago up with some rope in the corner. After the match, Cuerno places the deer head from his entrance attire on top of Drago's head.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for December 10, 2014

King Cuerno beats Super Fly. Throughout the match, Drago watches the match from the top of the temple.

We get a look at Pentagon Jr., who went to the East to learn to win with the help of the dark arts.

Movie star Danny Trejo is in the audience.

Chavo Guerrero beats Fenix with interference from Pentagon Jr. Sexy Star is not happy, and tells Chavo she's not done with him. She tells Chavo that "he's" coming back, and coming back for Chavo. "He," of course, is Blue Demon, Jr.

Remember the woman dressed in leather who showed up and watched matches from time to time and walked away? Well, she appeared again, this time behind commentators Matt Striker and Vampiro after the second match.

We get a look at Cage (also known as Brian Cage). He's not a man, he's a machine.

Despite Cisco and Cortez Castro helping out Big Ryck, as well as a mysterious masked man interfering near the end, Johnny Mundo beats Prince Puma and Big Ryck in a ladder match to get the briefcase worth $100,000. When Dario Cueto wants his key back, Mundo gives it back to him...along with a shot to the face.
