Total Divas Island - Total Divas recap for February 9, 2016

Brie and Nikki take part of the Best Buddies Challenge, which helps people with mental disabilities come into the world. Tomorrow, they take part in a 15-mile bike ride. They also meet Patrick Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver as they're there. Nikki is surprised at how much she relates to Maria Shriver is and, inspired by Maria, wants to get better at public speaking. Maria says she'll help Nikki if Nikki helps her get in shape.

Mandy and Eva Marie hang out together. Mandy wants to know if the "Red and Gold" tag team is a good idea after what she knows now.

Brie and Nikki are at the 15-mile bike challenge. Nikki tries to speak when asked by Maria if she and Brie have a few words, but nothing comes out. Nikki wonders how confident she is at public speaking.

Alicia Fox is dating another man named Daryl, and despite being kicked out of a restaurant together, she likes him but has found out that his ex is living in his house. Alicia still trusts Daryl, but Paige and Rosa Mendes think Daryl isn't exactly trustworthy.

Nattie runs into Mandy backstage. Mandy says she and Eva have been getting along pretty well so far. When she mentions the "Red and Gold" tag team, Nattie mentions that this happened before with Summer Rae, and it didn't go very well. Mandy is concerned.

Brie and Nikki meet with Dolph Ziggler and Nattie. Nikki wants to do more charity work to empower women, even though it scares the heck out of her.

Rosa and Paige talk to Alicia about Daryl, asking her to look into Daryl's background a little more. Alicia finds out he lied about his age, and that he's 50 instead of 45 like he said he was. When they call Daryl, however, he actually is 45.

Nikki tells Brie that she was very inspired and at peace by watching Maria Shriver and that she would like to be like her one day after wrestling. SHe has scheduled herself for a public speaking engagement in Tampa. Brie likes the idea, but wants her to be a little realistic with her goals, and wants her to look more classy.

Mandy watches Eva Marie in the Performance Center. Mandy knows that Eva Marie has put in the work and is confident in the ring. Mandy and Eva Marie meet Mandy's boyfriend, Michael.

Alicia heads to Daryl's house, and wants to know the truth about Daryl. Daryl said his friend said he was 45, not him, and didn't think that he and Alicia would be in a relationship. Alicia tells Daryl she does not like being lied to, and leaves as he tries to defend himself. She dumps him and even walks out on the camera crew.

Eva Marie tells Mandy and Michael about her career in WWE so far.

Rosa, Alicia and Paige have dinner and drinks together to cheer Alicia up, and have a good time.

Mandy, Michael and Josh from Tough Enough watch Eva Marie in action backstage against Carmella at NXT. She is impressed with the match, and wants to go with the "Red and Gold" tag team idea.

Rosa, Alicia and Paige are at Alicia's house. She needs help with a family of armadillos living in her yard. They also find a snake.

Nikki meets up with Brie and some friends. Nikki has taken Brie's advice and has a classy new wardrobe. Brie is impressed that she looks the part, but wants to know if Nikki can speak the part, but Nikki is reminded of her lack of confidence.

Meanwhile, Alicia gets flowers from a mystery admirer. Turns out, the flowers are from Daryl. Paige and Rosa aren't exactly amused by this, and when Alicia tries to call Daryl, Rosa butts in.

Mandy, Eva Marie and Michael have a meal together. Mandy tells Eva Marie that she asked the other Divas about the backstage heat that Eva has. Eva feels hurt. They have an awkward car ride home, and Mandy feels like she really hurt Eva Marie's feelings when she was just trying to be honest. Michael tells her that she should have just gotten the gist of it straight from Eva. Mandy apologizes to Eva, and Eva accepts her apology.

Brie debuts Experience Local. She wishes Nikki was there to see it, and admits to her mom she gave Nikki a hard time concerning her attempts at being a public speaker. Her mom reminds her that she was pushing Nikki into being something she isn't.

Paige, Alicia and Rosa. Alicia says she wants to give Daryl a chance, and Rosa realizes their relationship is serious and that she shouldn't have given Daryl a hard time. Paige admits her relationship with Kevin isn't perfect, and says she can't really do relationships. She just knows she and Kevin are in a dry patch in their relationship right now.

John Cena is with Nikki at the Center for Women in Tampa. She gets a call from Brie wishing her luck at the engagement. Nikki speaks about how she broke through the glass ceiling in WWE, and does well at her speech.
