Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 12, 2017

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy" and Jeff Hardy) tell The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) that the hunt will be rendered obsolete, and they will prove it tonight as they delete The Wolves as mandated by the Seven Deities.

Ethan Carter III shows up. He sits near a few people in the crowd, saying he wanted one clean title match last night, but he couldn't get it because of Lashley bringing in a chair and Davey Richards hitting him with it. He says that The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) are in collusion, and call them out for costing him the World title. Instead, he gets Lashley. Lashley says he'll do whatever it takes to win the World title, and EC3 won't. He then says Eddie Edwards stuck his nose in their business and screwed them both over. However, he wants to eliminate EC3, and proposes a Last Man Standing match for #1 contendership. After asking the Anthem Owl for guidance, EC3 says he doesn't want the match tonight, he wants it right now. Lashley and Ethan Carter III brawl briefly before referees rush in to pull them apart.

Lashley beats Ethan Carter III in a Last Man Standing match to become #1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

We see footage of someone putting a ring on their pinkie and then sticking it out.

Next week: Race for the Case! There are four cases to fight for, and the contents of each case will be revealed on Open Fight Night in two weeks!

Eli Drake and Tyrus raise a ruckus, and through a backstage stand, Eli Drake says that he is taking his voice away from the fans before announcing he will win the Race For The Case. He then beats up the backstage hand.

Rockstar Spud, dressed in a light blue doorman's uniform, introduces Aron Rex, who is in a white robe. Aron Rex says that a few months ago, he had an epiphany: nobody has paid for the sole purpose of seeing him perform in the ring. As he takes off his robe, Robbie E shows up, asking what the heck the fans are looking at, then questions why Spud is still here before saying that it's a new beginning in TNA yet Aron Rex is still the same old jackass. This earns him a two-on-one beating from Aron Rex and Rockstar Spud, which ends with Aron Rex knocking Robbie E out with his ring-adorned fist.

The DCC ("The Cowboy" James Storm", Bram, Eddie Kingston) says it's a new year, but some memories can never be forgotten. Bram can't forget Decay (Rosemary, Abyss, Crazzy Steve) kidnapping him and leaving him in the boot of a car. Kingston says he has 15 years of memories of people saying he is too violent and doesn't belong in the business, but now he has found a place in the DCC. Storm says the devil whispered in his ear that he can't handle the storm, before saying he is the storm and they are the Death Crew Count.

Allie is backstage when Maria Kanellis-Bennett confronts her yet again. She tells her she will never be a wrestler and cannot get it through her head, and that "The Miracle" Mike Bennett will put Braxton Sutter in a body cast and end their relationship.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Bram) vs. The DCC (Eddie Kingston and Bram) end when the match gets out of control. Both teams continue to fight each other all over the ring.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) talk about how they have a match for the tag team titles on their first match back. Davey apologizes to Eddie for what happened last week.

McKenzie Mitchell interviews the returning Brooke. She took time away to heal, spend time with family and even start one of her own. Now she is back full-time as a member of the Knockouts roster, and can't wait to meet the new faces and take back the Knockouts Championship. She returns next week.

Braxton Sutter beats "The Miracle" Mike Bennett with a surprise jackknife pin after Maria forces Allie to watch Bennett mercilessly destroy Sutter only for Bennett to pay for wasting too much time putting him away.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis-Benett talk backstage, and blame tonight's loss and 2017 not being their year on Allie. When Bennett tells Maria that she owns Allie and that Allie does anything she tells her to, Maria gets an idea...

Before the next match, Rosemary says that Gail Kim and Sienna were but the first, and that Decay will spread like a virus until the Knockouts feel, taste and become the darkness. Suddenly, Jade shows up and says she's still here, then tells Rosemary that she wouldn't be champion if it weren't for the mist. Jade then demands a rematch for the Knockouts Championship. Rosemary laughs, and invites her to a Monster's Ball match. Jade says Rosemary is a monster, but so is she, and accepts the invitation. As Jade leaves, Rosemary tries to attack her with the Knockouts title, but Jade sees it coming. This starts a brawl where Jade comes out standing tall.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) after Davey Richards gets upset with Eddie Edwards for taking care of Matt Hardy on the outside, leading to miscommunication between the two of them.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 16, 2016

Dixie Carter tells Ethan Carter III he gets his rematch against Matt Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship next week in London...and it's Six Sides of Steel. This week, however, EC3 has business to take care of...

Ethan Carter III arrives. He knows he had a chip on his shoulder when he arrived. He has beaten great opponents, but Matt Hardy is the only one on his mind. EC3 mentions his rematch for next week, then calls out Tyrus so they can settle some unfinished business. Tyrus says EC3 is afraid and that he doesn't want this, especially since nobody is watching his back right now. The two of them then inevitably brawl until Matt Hardy attacks EC3 from behind, but EC3 is able to fight back and force Hardy and Tyrus to retreat. Hardy then tells EC3 that if he wants revenge so badly, he'll find a tag team partner and take on both him and Tyrus in a tag team match tonight.

Eric Young and Bram are in the ring. EY reminds everyone that they are looking not only at the king, but at God. As he challenges anyone tough enough to face him, e says that Jeff Hardy won't take his title anytime soon. Beer Money (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm) show up and say they're ready to fight both Eric Young and Bram. Young tells Roode he had his chance. Storm then challenges EY for the title, and this starts a match.

Eric Young and "The Cowboy" James Storm fight to a double count-out after Bram and Bobby Roode get involved. The brawl is then carried on into the stands.

Drew Galloway talks to Ethan Carter III backstage. Drew volunteers to be his tag team partner due to sharing a common goal, but EC3 declines the offer as he wants to go it alone.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) continue to brawl with Eric Young and Bram backstage.

Before the next match, Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett declare that Bennett will be the next TNA World Heavyweight Champion, which explains the cheap shot he got last week. He also tells Drew Galloway that he will fail after he cashes in the Feast or Fired briefcase. Since Kurt Angle wants to duck out of a fight with him (in his words), he's picked Mandrews to be the next person to fight him. Bennett says he's impressed, but says it will take a miracle for Mandrews to beat him. Mandrews tells him to shut the hell up and smacks the mic into his face, starting the match.

"The Miracle" Michael Bennett beats Mandrews. He beats Mandrws up again after the match, but Drew Galloway shows up. When he rushes into the ring, however, Bennett retreats.

Decay (Crazzy Steve, Abyss, Rosemary) say that The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) will be lying in a pool of their own blood and decay when they're done tonight. Suddenly, an unknown man dressed in white with an appearance as crazy as Decay's suddenly shows up, wanting Rosemary's attention.

Odarg the Great is coming...

Matt Hardy and Tyrus surprise Rockstar Spud. Hardy tells him not to stick his nose in their business, and that Ethan Carter III is an evil man.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) beat Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) in a chaotic Monster's Ball Match to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Rockstar Spud confronts Ethan Carter III. EC3 tells Spud to stay out of the match.

Gail Kim and Madison Rayne beat The Dollhouse (Jade and Marti Bell). Jade, Marti Bell and Rebel go on the attack after the match, but Velvet Sky makes the save. She then challenges The Dollhouse to a Lethal Lockdown match against her, Gail Kim and Madison Rayne next week.

Mahabali Shera introduces us to Odarg The Great. It's obviously Grado in a mask.

Eric Young and Bram brawl with Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) again, then escape. Beer Money challenges them to a Lethal Lockdown match next week.

Mahabali Shera and Odarg The Great beat Eli Drake and Jessie Godderz, but not before Odarg is unmasked.

Odarg The Great challenges Eli Drake to a match at Lockdown next week. Jessie Godders can't stop laughing.

During the handicap match between Ethan Carter III and the team of Matt Hardy and Tyrus, Rockstar Spud shows up to become EC3's tag team partner.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 2, 2016

Earlier today, Ethan Carter III tells cameraman to meet him at an unspecified place at 4 PM for an interview.

Matt Hardy, Reby Sky and Tyrus appear to start the show. Matt says we won't get Jeff Hardy tonight, because Jeff made a big mistake last week. Reby says it didn't have to be this way, and believes that Jeff is just jealous that Matt won the World Heavyweight title. As Matt Hardy says that last week's actions were good for business for the Matt Hardy brand, Eric Young and Bram show up. EY takes pride in bringing immense pain to both Bobby Roode and Jeff Hardy, and praises Matt as world champ, but says the title goes through him. Kurt Angle shows up and says he's talked to TNA official concerning his next farewell tour match...and it's him vs Matt for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. A livid Matt Hardy tells Kurt Angle he will end his career if he keeps this up, but Angle says he can whup everyone in the ring right now if he has to. Suddenly, Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) show up, and they're in the mood for a fight, and declare that they will give a beatdown to Eric Young and Bram. This starts a brawl in which Crazzy Steve and Abyss show up in order to take advantage of the confusion, but The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) follow them into the ring and fight them off. Bobby Roode then declares that not only will Angle become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but that Beer Money and The Wolves will take on Eric Young, Bram, Abyss and Crazzy Steve in a hardcore fight.

Drew Galloway says Feast or Fired was a big risk, but he now controls his own destiny. Tyrus shows up and tells him to set the briefcase down and walk away as it is a target on his chest. Drew tells him he has no plans of doing that, and Tyrus pretty much tells Drew that it's his funeral.

Lashley beats Aiden O'Shea despite the distraction provided by Raquel. After the match, Raquel heads into the ring and gets a microphone. She tells Lashley the same message as last time: she can bring him pain, or she can bring him pleasure.

Ethan Carter III says the world will hear it all tonight...

Maria Kanellis shows up and says that women's wrestling needs a leader to point it in the right direction. She decrees that the Knockouts Division is broken. Gail Kim shows up, and says she respect Maria, but Maria fancies herself a businesswoman and says she can make Gail mainstream. Gail wants none of this, and wants to fight her right now. Maria retreats.

Eric Young, Bram and Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) beat The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) and Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) in a 4-on-4 "hardcore war."

Drew Galloway congratulates Kurt Angle on their match, and wishes him luck in his match tonight.

Drew Galloway vs. Tyrus ends when the lights go out and Maria Kanellis shows up to tell Galloway his miracle begins now. When the lights come back on, "The Miracle" Michael Bennett hits Galloway with his own Feast or Fired briefcase. He tells Galloway that he is the miracle TNA is and not Galloway.

Kurt Angle says he's had the time of his life in TNA. Lashley wishes him luck tonight.

Gregory Shane Helms shows up, but he is not dressed for the ring. He then tells Tigre Uno, who is already in the ring, that the match isn't against him, but against someone he has mentored: Trevor Lee.

Trevor Lee beats Tigre Uno to win the TNA X Division Championship!

The now-once-defeated Ethan Carter III says he suffered the worst beating of his life two weeks ago. He congratulates Matt Hardy for winning the World title from him, but mentions that he didn't do it alone and that he kept getting back up. EC3 then declares he will be taking a plan for the UK and that he is coming for Matt Hardy and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Matt Hardy retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Kurt Angle with help from Reby Sky and Tyrus.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 26, 2016

Jeff Hardy is in the building. He's prepared to confront his brother Matt Hardy after last week.

Jeff Hardy heads to the ring. He has seen last week's main event, and he is sickened by what happened. He calls out Matt Hardy, saying that he wants answers. Matt's new music hits, and "Big Money Matt" shows up late to tick Jeff off. Reby Sky also shows up, as does Tyrus, who is holding baby Maxwell. Reby says Jeff abandoned Matt when he became "a redneck Evil Knievel." After Reby turns her back on Jeff and the crowd, Jeff makes it clear that there a lot of bitches in the ring. Matt says that he simply took Reby's advice: stop giving, start taking. As he keeps saying that Jeff is standing in his shadow, Jeff tells him just how appalled he is. Matt says that it might as well be time for the two Hardys to go their separate ways. Jeff Hardy says he stands by calling the now-chanted-for Ethan Carter III the best wrestler on the planet, simply because he won the World title fairly. Jeff, now medically clear, then says he wants to be the first person that Matt defends the title against. Matt grants him that match, saying he loves his brother, but that he will wash his hands of any and all guilt stemming from what he does to his brother tonight.

The TNA locker room is all abuzz about Feast or Fired.

The Feast or Fired Match takes place. Grado, Drew Galloway, Eli Drake and "The Cowboy" James Storm all get briefcases.

After the match, Gregory Shane Helms shows up again, saying that TNA was built from and defined by the X Division, and that it will come to prominence once again. Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Michael Bennett show up, but Drew Galloway makes it clear that nobody is here to see him. Bennett says there will be repercussions for insulting him again, and the two of them leave. Eli Drake gets the King of the Mountain title shot.

When The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) call out Crazzy Steve, they get a girl who looks shockingly like him who says "Riddle me this, riddle me that. We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad. Decay...decay...decay." Crazzy Steve then shows up, followed by Abyss. This soon starts a brawl which takes place during the commercial break.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) ends when Crazzy Steve spits red mist into Davey Richards, followed by purple mist into Davey's face by the mystery girl. The gruesome threesome of Crazzy Steve, Abyss and the mystery girl then go on the attack.

James Storm gets a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Drew Galloway gets a shot at the TNA World Championship. Grado is fired from TNA.

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy is about to happen when Eric Young shows up and expresses his displeasure with Jeff getting a World title shot. As he does, Bram attacks Jeff from behind, and Eric Young adds to the numbers game. Matt Hardy and Reby Sky watch from outside the ring, then Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) make the save. Crazzy Steve and Abyss show up, but Beer Money quickly take care of them and take their fight to the back. Matt Hardy then gets back into the ring, then Kurt Angle shows up and confronts Matt only to be attacked from behind by Tyrus. As they get rowdy and loud, Eric Young and Bram show up to spoil the fun, and after Eric Young brags about taking the World title from him and admitting he doesn't like Bram but does like the way he operates, he says that Roode has something that belongs to him: the TNA King of the Mountain Championship. It's time for Mr. Anderson's new segment: "Huh?" The first guest ever on this segment is Matt Hardy, who is accompanied by Reby Sky and their son Maxell. Matt Hardy says the only reason he didn't beat Ethan Carter III for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship is because of Eric Young's piledriver. Anderson thinks he's making excuses, but Matt Hardy says he's being accountable and refuses to give up on winning the title again. Matt Hardy also says that he has EC3's number, and that Jeff Hardy won't be "doing his dirty work." He, Reby and Maxell leave after the interview becomes uncomfortable.
