Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for February 16, 2017

Brandi Rhodes and Moose beat Decay (Crazzy Steve and Rosemary).

Eddie Edwards is looking for Davey Richards backstage...

Brandi Rhodes and Moose congratulate each other on a job well done backstage.

Eddie Edwards shows up, and says he's here to whip Davey Richards' ass...something he thought he'd never say until the events of last week's main event. He calls out Davey, telling him to take his ass whipping like a man. Angelina Love shows up, saying he only gets Davey when she says he gets Davey. She wants to know where Eddie was when Davey tore his ACL and was healing from his injury, and says Eddie was out doing his own thing. She then brings out Davey, and Eddie tells Angelina to give Davey his balls back so he can explain himself. Davey says he made Eddie as well as the Wolves Nation, and if Eddie is smart, he will walk away before he exposes him like the little bitch that he is. Eddie immediately runs towards him, starting a brawl, and security has their hands full. Eddie gets back in the ring and challenges Davey to an anything goes street fight tonight.

In footage from last week, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Braxton Sutter are at a bachelor party for Sutter that Bennett has set up. It becomes pretty obvious that Braxton Sutter doesn't want to be here and the people that are here for the party aren't exactly friends of Sutter, either.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) are at the arena in Tijuana, Mexico, for the search of some tag team champions.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett, Sienna and Laurel Van Ness run into Allie's decorations for Laurel's bachelorette party, and Maria is not impressed. Maria wants Allie to step it up as Laurel Van Ness is marrying Braxton Sutter...which makes Allie sad pretty quickly.

Jessie Godderz beats Eddie Kingston. When the lights go out after the match, Jessie wisely gets out of the ring before they come back, allowing him to avoid "The Cowboy" James Storm and Bram.

One of the guys at the bachelor party tries to get Braxton Sutter to loosen up. Braxton Sutter tries to leave, but "The Miracle" Mike Bennett tries to get him to stay. One of the guys at the party gets drunk, climbs up a ladder, and falls on the guy who tried to get Sutter to loosen up.

One Night Only: February 2017 is available now!

At the bachelorette party, Allie tries to get Maria-Kanellis Bennett to cheer up, but Allie is not even interested in her choice of decor for the bachelorette party. Sienna only cares about the champagne and wants to drink it now.

Tyrus hots Fact of Life, and his guest for tonight is Eli Drake, the usual host for the show. Eli Drake tells Tyrus he left him last week because he didn't watch his back and didn't stay in the background like he has his entire career. He says he could have picked a stipulation for his match with EC3, but he didn't. He tells him to stay in the background, like he has his entire career, and that he owns him. Tyrus grabs him by the throat, tells Eli he doesn't own him, and challenges him to a match next week.

In Tijuana, Mexico at the Auditorio Municipal, Konnan sets up an impromptu meeting with The Broken Hardys, who are only here for tag team gold and aren't interested in getting paid. He gets a match for them against Super Crazy and Psychosis booked right away, and tells his assistant to quickly make some Hardy memorabilia.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett, Sienna and Laurel Van Ness drink champagne, and Laurel gets some lingerie as a gift. Maria bosses Allie around again, ordering her to get some white bridesmaids' dresses. She also tells Allie that she won't be a bridesmaid, and that she will be the ring bearer instead. Allie is not happy.

In Tijuana, The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Jeff Hardy and Broken Nero) head to their match against Psychosis and Super Crazy, and ask Vanguard-1 to come up with a successful exit plan. Vanguard-1 is eventually surrounded by some of the female talent from the promotion The Broken Hardys are wrestling in. They win the tag team titles from Psychosis and Super razy, and when Konnan finds out that they have won the tag team titles for his promotion, he goes after them, but Vanguard-1 helps The Broken Hardys escape. Next week: The Broken Hardys try to win the Mid-Atlantic tag team titles!

Brooke says she will beat Sienna tonight and shut Maria Kanellis-Bennett up once and for all.

Brooke beats Sienna with a roll-up.

Braxton Sutter tries to leave the bachelor party again. "The Miracle" Mike Bennett brings out Roxy after George brings up watching a lewd DVD, but after he sees her, he immediately regrets it and switches to the lewd DVD.

Eli Drake tells Tyrus he will put his hands on him next week and lay him out.

Lashley shows up. Lashley brags about his World title victory from last week, then says there is not a fighter alive who can hang with him. Suddenly, former UFC Heavyweight Champion John Barnett is here. After a friendly salutation, he tells Lashley he is not living up to the fans' expectation and wants him in the ring to bring him to the level he knows he is capable of. Lashley welcomes Barnett to the Impact Zone, but tells him not to enter his world as there are no rules, unlike MMA. Barnett immediately responds with an arm bar, which immediately gets Lashley ticked off. Barnett says he is not afraid to fight any man, and challenges Lashley to a wrestling match. Lashley accepts his challenges and tells him he will whip him like he does everyone else.

As everyone is passed out during the bachelor party, Braxton Sutter makes his escape plans. But first, he dials Maria Kanellis-Bennett's number on "The Miracle" Mike Bennett's phone.

Next week: the wedding of Braxton Sutter and Laurel Van Ness!

The antyhing goes street fight between Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards ends with Eddie's wife Alicia being cuffed to the ring ropes by Angelina Love before Davey rams a chair repeatedly into Eddie. The match - and the show - ends with Angelina Love kicking referee Earl Hebner in the groin.

Lashley gloats about his win from last week, and says he has a proposition for Eddie Edwards...

Lashley shows up. He says that the ring wasn't big enough for him and Ethan Carter III, so he eliminated him. He says there is nothing that can stop him from taking the World title, and calls out Eddie Edwards, who shows up. Eddie tells Lashley he doesn't have to answer to him and that he owes him nothing, but he knows what Lashley is doing and why he is doing it, as Lashley knows he wants to be a fighting champion, and wants to know his master plan to take the World title. Lashley says Eddie is no fighting champion as he relies on fluke wins and his friends, and calls him a "feel-good champion." He then demands a World title shot in a 30-minute Iron Man Match. Eddie gives him the match so he can prove that Lashley is his bitch. Lashley jumps him for this statement, and Davey Richards has to rush in with a chair to get Lashley to back off.

Backstage, Maria Kanellis-Bennett calls Braxton Sutter on her phone, saying she has something for him when he shows up tonight. She then meets Brooke, who knows exactly who Maria is and tells Maria to stay away from her, stay out of her way and let her do her own thing.

Tyrus and Eli Drake reveal that Fact of Life is up next, and the red briefcase's contents will be revealed.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett meets with Braxton Sutter backstage. She tells him to stop training Allie to wrestle, and tells him to find Laurel Van Ness.

It's time for Fact of Life with Eli Drake and Tyrus, where the contents of the Race For The Case briefcases will be revealed. The higher the number on the case, the better the prize. Eli Drake opens the red briefcase, which contains the number 4. The DCC ("The Cowboy" James Storm, Bram, Eddie Kingston) mess with Eli Drake and Tyrus before their gold briefcase is opened to reveal the number 2. Trevor Lee - who has no idea how to open the briefcase - gets number 3. That leaves Jeff Hardy with number 1,

Braxton Sutter escorts Laurel Van Ness to her car...and opens the door for her before getting in the driver's seat...

Drew Galloway beats Moose with a low blow followed by a Claymore to win the TNA Impact Grand Championship. Had the third round went three minute, Galloway would have had one point deducted from all three judges.

The show begins with Jeremy Borash hosting a contract signing for the Lethal Lockdown match between TNA and GFW between Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett appears first with his wife, Karen, followed by Dixie. Both sides are allowed a few words, starting with Dixie. She finds it sad that the situation has come down to this, and insists that she never removed Jeff Jarrett from power and that Jeff left, and that she was hopeful they would together rewrite the ending for this company, but it is now all in the past. She's at the table for TNA, the fans and the roster that she's willing to invest in, and signs her contract. Karen tells Dixie she's delusional, and Dixie retorts by saying "And I'm not speaking with you." Jeff says that tonight is a moment in history, and that tonight the professional wrestling business forging forward. He brings up Eric Young allowing Chris Mordetzky to beat Drew Galloway last week, saying that EY is investing in him and Karen while he was still under TNA contract. Jeff says that the first dollar invested in TNA was his, and he has the right to be at the table. But he insists that Dixie Carter made a fatal mistake in removing him from power, and setting the wheels in motion for the hostile corporate takeover, which he plans to complete tonight with the Lethal Lockdown victory so he can assume the mantle of two professional wrestling companies. He plans to send Dixie Carter back to the outside of the wrestling business looking in, then signs his contract. After both contracts are placed in the briefcase, Jarrett grabs the briefcase, but Jeremy Borash says that the briefcase will be in a safe location until there is a winner. Jarrett then attacks Jeremy Borash, and Karen tells JB to keep the briefcase as she and Jeff will be coming back for it later.

After talking about how he makes the TNA title look good, EC3 brings out Jeff Hardy, who is now in a suit with EC3's face plastered all over it as he carries the giant EC3 face on a stick to the ring. The fans chant "Hardy," and Hardy is told to ask the fans to stop chanting for him, and he does with little effort after initial reluctance, after EC3 tells him he needs the personal assistant job to support his family. Suddenly, Rockstar Spud appears and talks about how the current situation looks familiar, and says he'd wear the suit Hardy is wearing if it didn't have EC3's face on it. He says he came to EC3 for a job in TNA and did everything he had to do, but reminds him that his new personal assistant is, of course, Jeff Hardy, and says that he's garbage compared to Hardy. As the fans chant "You are garbage," he asks Spud if garbage is an undefeated TNA champion who has beaten everyone in his path and is something the company is built on, then hits Spud in the head with the mic. EC3, Hardy and Tyrus leave, but Spud attacks again as they do. Tyrus and EC3 attack Spud again, then EC3 orders Hardy to hit Spud...and he does, with Hardy telling Spud that he's sorry before he hits him.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for September 9, 2015

Ethan Carter III and Tyrus show up to start the show. He talks about the TNA-GFW feud, then says he doesn't give a crap and that he's still world champion. He admits that Matt Hardy gave him a match for the ages, but says Matt still made a grave mistake in betting against him. He then says to the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils for EC3 is a new personal assistant in Jeff Hardy. EC3 immediately starts bossing him around, stripping him of his entrance music and tossing water at him after Hardy hands them a few bottles of water. Hardy also gets a first-day gift: a giant EC3 head on a stick, which he has to hold up at all times. EC3 then gives Hardy a few index cards to read off, which put EC3 on a pedestal. We also find out that Matt Hardy is in action tonight, tagging with Rockstar Spud against Ethan Carter III and Tyrus. That match is next.

Ethan Carter III and Tyrus beat Matt Hardy and Rockstar Spud. Jeff Hardy refuses to interfere on EC3 and Tyrus' behalf.

Madison Rayne is attacked by The Dollhouse (Jade, Marti Bell, Rebel), but Angelina Love and Velvet Sky help make the save until Jade is able to attack Angelina with a steel chair before getting away.

Jeff and Karen Jarrett show up. They say that Team GFW is ready to win the match between Drew Galloway and Chris Mordetzky and complete their hostile corporate takeover of TNA. He then calls out Bobby Roode, demanding he return the King of the Mountain title to Global Force Wrestling. Roode shows up, and Jarrett demands the title back, but Roode refuses, saying the title belongs to TNA and the TNA fans. Roode is about to fight Jarrett, but Karen stops it, telling Jeff that he's jeapordizing everything if he fights Roode, and telling Roode that he should be more concerned about securing his spot now that he's a week away from answering to Jeff. Karen goes on to say that Roode and Dixie Carter are both outnumbered, as is TNA, and says that Roode should consider teaming up with Jarrett like he has time and again. Karen then tells Jeff that they're leaving, and they do.

Eli Drake talks with Kenny King and Jessie Godderz. Drew McIntyre asks them if they know what's going on, but they don't care as they're going to be here regardless of who wins between TNA and GFW. He introduces three men who will fight for TNA: Tigre Uno, Robbie E and Micah. They brush them off, but this starts a brawl between the two groups that officials have to break up.

Ethan Carter III and Tyrus catch up with Jeff Hardy, telling him to hit someone when he tells him to hit someone, but chalks Hardy's refusal up to "first day jitters." He then tells EC3 to sell some of his T-shirts "to the Creatures."

Brooke fights off Lei'D Tapa outside the ring, and the match ends with Brooke retaining the Knockouts title and beating Gail Kim by disqualification after Tapa hits Brooke in the back of the head with the Knockouts title. Gail Kim fights off Lei'D Tapa but is easily overpowered. Awesome Kong shows up after that, and both women stare down in the center of the ring before getting into a big brawl. Neither woman can take the other down, and after a body slam from Tapa, Kong gets right back up and does one of her own before sending Tapa out of the ring.

Team GFW is backstage, staying focused for tonight. Jarrett tells them that he has something special for them later tonight.

Jeff Hardy and Drew Galloway talk about the TNA-GFW feud backstage, but Ethan Carter III and Tyrus tells him it's not their fight, that they have dinner reservations and that Hardy has gear to clean.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) beat Brian Myers and Trevor Lee to take back the TNA Tag Team Championships, thanks to a little help from...Earl Hebner? Hebner shows up after Sonjay Dutt shows up and drags the first ref out of the ring to beat him up. Hebner shows up, hits Sonjay Dutt in the face with a solid right and counts the pinfall for the wolves.

Chris Melendez may no longer have his prosthetic leg, but he's not done with Eric Young just yet.

Chris Melendez shows up. He's still ready to kick some ass despite not having his prosthetic leg (and being on his last leg), and calls out Eric Young, saying he's ready to go. Eric Young shows up with the prosthetic leg, which has been desecrated with tape with the words "E.Y." and "MY LEG" written on it. He says that if an American hero looks like Chris Melendez, then he doesn't want to be a hero. EY makes light of Chris, but Chris tells EY that when he's done with him, he'll be the one needing the leg. EY taunts Chris with the leg, pushing him down and telling him that the next time they're wrestle, EY will take everything from him.

He considers Kurt Angle his hero, and is honored that Angle introduced him to TNA, saying he wants to give back to him 200%. He says that acclimating to USA has not been easy, especially with no friends and no family. He explains his time in The Revolution, saying he did not like the name "Khoya," and tells "The Cowboy" James Storm that he will beat him and show him who he truly his.

Chris Mordetzky beats Drew Galloway in a lumberjack match to gain the one-man advantage for Team GFW next week. Near the end of the match, the lumberjacks brawled, and Jeff Jarrett tried to smash a guitar into Drew Galloway's head. Eric Young shows up and grabs the guitar to stop Jarrett, but Young smacks the guitar into Galloway's head anyway.

Final Impact - Impact Wresting recap for August 26, 2015

The show begins with The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) showing up. Jeff apologizes for breaking his leg and promises he'll make it up to the fans. He then says that in the beginning, only he, Jeff and the fans believed they would make it...and here they are. Jeff then says that Matt needs one more shot, and if he can get it, he can become TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Matt says it's been one year since TNA welcomed him back, and everyone from the company to the fans to his family have been incredible to him. He says that his last match with Ethan Cater III was incredible and could have went either way, and says he feels he is the man who can carry TNA into the future, and tells EC3 that he's taking the World title. Just like Jeff, he feels he can become World champion with one more shot. Ethan Carter III and Tyrus show up. EC3 says that in 1999, he was at a live event for a match that involved ladders...and the Hardys. Now that he's dealing with them, he says he couldn't be any more disappointed, and says that he was victorious in his last meeting with Matt...and that he's not getting his one more chance. EC3 and Tyrus turn around to leave, but Jeff Hardy wants to know from EC3 why he's a "grade A jackass." EC3 says he is a franchise, and says the World title is "top guy stuff." He calls Jeff "a daredevil who can't stick a landing" and tells him to tread lightly. Jeff knows he's not medically cleared, but he's ready to throw down with a steel chair. EC3 whispers into Tyrus' ear, then says he's a granter of opportunities. He says that if the crowd can chant "Matt 4 Champ," he'll grant the rematch. He grants it, but there's a caveat: if Matt wins, he becomes World champion. If EC3 wins, Jeff has to be his personal assistant and has to do all his menial work.

Eric Young tells Chris Melendez he can't be held responsible for what happens to him, and says he's crazy to accept another match from him. He's taken everything he can from him, and now he plans to take the one thing he has left: his prosthetic leg.

Jeff and Karen Jerrett says they're happy to be here and that tonight will be a huge night on Impact Wrestling.

Eric Young beats Chris Melendez after putting legs hand on the ropes during the pinfall. EY takes Melendez' leg, calls himself a "big game hunter," then says that "it's going on the mantle."

Tigre Uno retains the TNA X Division Championship against Sonjay Dutt and DJ Z.

"The Cowboy" James Storm tells Abyss and Manik that Mahabali Shera (or Khoya) is no longer part of The Revolution, and that it's all about them now. He wants Abyss and Manik to bring the gold back to them. Storm tells Manik that if he ever sees him dancing like a monkey again, he will cut him down.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Revolution (Abyss and Manik), thanks to Mahabali Shera stopping "The Cowboy" James Storm from doing much in the way of interference.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) appear again. Jeff says that Ethan Carter III is always throwing money around, and there are still a lot of unknowns about the deal. Nevertheless, Jeff accepts Ethan Carter III's caveat for Matt Hardy vs. EC3 for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship next week.

Brooke beats Velvet Sky by disqualification when Jade and Marti Bell attack Brooke outside of the ring. Jade and Marti Bell continue their attack on Velvet Sky, but Rebel shows up to make the save...or so we think. Rebel kicks Velvet Sky in the back of the head, and the three of them attack Velvet Sky. Taryn Terrell appears on the TitanTron, telling Velvet she made a mistake messing with The Dollhouse (Taryn, Jade, Marti), and that she just met the newest member. Rebel is officially a member of The Dollhouse.

Bobby Roode plans to prove to Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter and the wrestling world why he is the "It Factor of Professional Wrestling" by getting a shot at the TNA King of the Mountain Championship.

Mr. Anderson says that actions speak louder than words...and that's what he has to say about the TNA King of the Mountain Championship. Meanwhile, Drew Galloway is on the phone backstage...

Bobby Roode beats James Storm, Lashley and Mr. Anderson to become #1 contender to the TNA King of the Mountain Championship.

The cover girl for the 2016 TNA Knockouts Championship is...all three. Brooke, Gail Kim and Velvet Sky will all be on the cover of the calendar.

Ethan Carter III says that Jeff and Matt Hardy accepting his challenge is the best decision they've ever made, and says that after Matt loses, he wants no qualms about it as he welcomes Jeff Hardy to Team EC3.

Dixie Carter shows up. She says that when someone sincerely offers their help, you listen and be a team player, and do not let stubbornness get in the way. She says that she was one of the few people who knew that the opportunity for Jeff Jarrett to help was there, and says she couldn't be any happier. She asks him to come to the ring, and he does. Jarrett says that the new chapter in their relationship was so out of the blue that it was the very last thing he was expecting, but he's glad it happened. He says that he's glad that Dixie accepted his help after what has happened since that phone call, as it is win-win for TNA, Global Force Wrestling and the wrestling fan. He says they've kept it going, but they've got to keep it growing. Dixie says that together, he and Jarrett are unstoppable, and that the show needs a leader. Before Dixie can make a decision on whether to make Jarrett that leader, Drew Galloway crashes the proceedings. He says that the TNA-GFW partnership has gotten everyone in the back fired, and respects Jeff Jarrett for what he's doing, but says that he found out something twenty minutes ago: security footage showing the license plates of the two getaway cars from the attacks, both sharing one name: Jeff Jarrett. Galloway knows that with him and Bully Ray out of the picture, Jarrett has everything to gain and nothing to lose. Jarrett vehemently defends himself, but Galloway threatens to drop him where he stands if he's lying about who it was. Suddenly, the perpetrator reveals themselves: Karen Jarrett, who says she did it for her family and for Global Force Wrestling, saying that Jeff deserves this. She says that Jeff started TNA, and that one little spark can cause a giant inferno. All of a sudden, Jeff Jarrett kicks Drew Galloway in the balls, and as his Global Force Wrestling storm the ring and attack Galloway, Jarrett tells Dixie that sometimes, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Rockstar Spud and the TNA locker room rush in to counter them, but it turns into an all-out brawl where the GFW roster comes out on top. The show ends with the GFW roster and the Jarretts celebrating the start of a hostile takeover of TNA.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 29, 2015

Austin Aries shows up to start the show. He says there is nobody better than him in the business right now, and he's not happy with Bully Ray because he's not in contendership for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Bully Ray shows up, and says he can't give him a shot to either the World or tag titles because he's lost to Kurt Angle and The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) respectively. He also tells Aries that he runs his mouth a little too fast, and it just might get him into trouble. Bully says he can give him an X Division title shot, but Aries says the title is for those who will never make it to the main event...like Rockstar Spud. Spud, having heard this, shows up and he's not very happy to have heard this from Aries' mouth. He has respect for him, but Aries decides to be a realist about it...to the point that he's a jerk. He decides to give Spud a match against him to see if he can hang with him and if his hard work can pay off. Spud says he's been proving he can hang his entire life. He says he'll prove he can not only hang with him, he'll beat him. Aries proceeds to mock Spud even further, mocking the "Rockstar" in his name and saying that if he can't beat someone like Spud, he shouldn't be in a TNA ring. Bully Ray decides to put that statement to the test, and makes that a stipulation in a match between Aries and Spud. Aries decides to throw in another stipulation: if Spud loses, he can no longer use "Rockstar" in his name as the "Rockstar" name will belong to Aries.

Kurt Angle talks with Sgt. Chris Melendez. Angle thanks Melendez for saving him from Eric Young last week, and they both head towards the ring together as Melendez gets another shot at Eric Young.

Before the next match, Melendez says he will not accept defeat against Eric Young and wants his rematch. Eric Young shows up and tells him to quit while he's ahead, but Melendez promises that he'll beat his ass.

Jeff states that his brother Matt will take the World title from EC3 next week. Matt Hardy shows up, sticks it to EC3, and pulls out a table, a steel chair and a ladder from underneath the ring. Matt Hardy and EC3 will square off for the World title in a Full Metal Mayhem match next week. Matt also announces that, as per Bully Ray, nobody will be allowed at ringside during the match...not even Tyrus.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 15, 2015

Dixie Carter is in the ring, which is surrounded by the TNA roster. She apologizes to the TNA fans and the TNA roster, and does not regret being put through a table by Bully Ray and getting a huge reality check out of it. She asks for the roster's trust in her vision of the future, which is easy to doubt as she has not always held to her promises. Before she can introduce a new leader for TNA, Ethan Carter III and Tyrus show up, asking Dixie who this "farce" is. Dixie then introduces "the man who will become the law": Bully Ray himself. Bully Ray talks about how he came back to TNA, starting with Dixie Carter's apology via telephone, which Bully Ray says was legit. He admits he's been angry with Dixie for the longest time, and says that if he comes back, he's doing it for the fans and the roster. He tells the roster to get up on the roster, as they are not beneath him. He then asks the fans if they want to see him take TNA back to the promised land, and they cheer. He then professionally shakes hands with Dixie Carter and accepts the General Manager position, declares that a fun wrestling show will occur tonight, and then tells Ethan Carter III that he's defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship tonight. His opponent? The winner of a 20-man battle royale...which happens next.

Kurt Angle talks to Bully Ray. Angle has an idea, and a certain person isn't going to like it...

Kurt Angle shows up. He admits Ethan Carter III has talent, but does not like how EC3 is keeping the world title. He's talked with Bully Ray, who said the rematch never happened. Angle now has another rematch with EC3 for the World title, but it will have to wait until after he has a tumor removed from his neck. Eric Young shows up and says he beat Angle, and that he wants Angle taken out for good. He makes fun of Angle and his neck tumor before attacking him, but Angle fights back and brawls with EY. EY takes Angle down, however, and when Chris Melendez tries to make the save, he ends up taking a piledriver outside of the ring.

Magnus introduces James back to the ring for the first time since Storm pushed her into the train tracks. As she sends a message to James Storm, Storm shows up along with Khoya. He says Mickie should thank him for not pushing her onto the train tracks any harder than he did, otherwise she would be in a wheelchair. He also says he tried to get her to join his Revolution just to prove to the world how easy it is to manipulate a woman. This gets Mickie James good and ticked off, and Mickie tells Storm to go find that one woman so that she and Magnus can tear them up.

Wednesday, June 17, 2015

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 17, 2015

The show begins with a tribute to Dusty Rhodes.

Mike Tenay hosts the contract signing for Ethan Carter III vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. After both men get in the ring, they get a chance to have their say prior to the bout. Ethan Carter III lays some sweet poetry about whom Kurt Angle has beaten in his career before telling him that unlike all those legends, he hasn't been beaten and that he will be Angle's endgame. Angle says the best matches are made for him, and that this one will be no different, especially when he plans to make this match a nightmare for EC3. According to the contract, both men will have "tune-up matches" prior to the match that will happen in 14 days' time, and EC3 finds out straight from Angle that he's facing Lashley.

Before The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) and The Dirty Heels (Bobby Roode and Austin Aries) face off in Match 4 of their Best of Five Series, The Wolves say that the tag team titles are what counts as they signify who is the best tag team in the world, and that they have proven that before with every tag team that's been thrown in their path. After they call The Wolves call The Dity Heels out, Bobby Roode shows up and says Austin Aries isn't medically cleared due to his match with Kurt Angle last week, and that he and Aries call the shots. The Wolves then challenge Roode to a singles match, and Roode almost doesn't want to do it until he comes up with a grand idea in order to see how badly The Wolves want him in the ring: whoever wins the match gets to pick the stipulation for the fourth match in their Best of Five Series. They like the idea, and Eddie Edwards challenges Roode to a match, right here, right now. Roode accepts the challenge.

Eddie Edwards beats Bobby Roode when Austin Aries suddenly shows up and tosses a steel chair to Roode only for Davey Richards to take it from him, leading to Edwards stacking Roode up off the distraction. Richards and Edwards immediately pick Full Metal Mayhem as the stipulation for Match 4 of their Best of Five Series.

Jeremy Borash runs into Joseph Park, who has fallen on hard times since his ugly exit from Impact Wrestling. He plans to make a comeback by challenging Bram tonight.

Bram is backstage. He doesn't like cameras, apparently.

Bram beats Joseph Park after putting him through a table.

Taryn Terrell has set up a stipulation for tonight's tag match between The Dollhouse (Taryn, Jade, Marti Bell) and the team of Brooke and Awesome Kong. If Brooke and Kong win, they both get a shot at the Knockouts title. If they lose, they can never get a Knockouts title shot for as long as she holds the title.

The world is burning. Playtime's over...

Brooke and Awesome Kong beat The Dollhouse (Jade and Marti Bell) to secure title shots at Taryn Terrell and the TNA Knockouts Championship.

Chris Melendez shows up. He's not happy at all that Eric Young ripped his prosthetic leg and disrespected him and everything he represents. He calls out Eric Young, who shows up promptly. He shows impressive respect for Melendez' military career, but says he doesn't care about him, the fans or anybody except himself. As for ripping his leg out and choking him with it, he came up with the idea on the spur of the moment. When he asks how badly Melendez wants him alone in the ring next week, Melendez makes it clear he wants him very badly. The match is on for next week.

Jessie Godderz beats DJ Z with the Boston Crab. After the match, he tells DJ Z that his attack on him was no mistake, and tortures him as he puts himself on a pedestal, saying he's the reason that he and Robbie E won the tag team titles twice. As he goes for a press slam on DJ Z, Robbie E shows up and brawls with Jessie, forcing Jessie to retreat.

Magnus shows up and threatens to crack open some heads until "The Cowboy" James Storm comes out. Security shows up, followed by Storm. Storm tries to sow distrust between Magnus and Mickie James and make himself look like the bad guy, then pulls out a baby stroller that he plans to use as an "insurance policy" against Magnus. Magnus goes after Storm, and decks the security guards that hold him back only to find out that the stroller only has a doll inside and not his son Donovan. Storm runs away and Magnus gives chase.

Ethan Carter III beats Lashley despite three referees having to make the count due to Tyrus attacking all of them.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 3, 2015

Ethan Carter III shows up with Tyrus and two young ladies to a barbershop quintet singing his theme song. They all celebrate EC3 being #1 on the Impact Top Five. After teasing everyone with the prospect of Tyrus dancing, EC3 states that the World title is his only conquest left, and he calls out Kurt Angle in order to "commemorate his final days as champion." Kurt Angle shows up, and tells him he's not exactly #1 contender. Next week is Destination X, and though Angle is waiting for the day to shut him up, it might be Rockstar Spud as he just might cash in the X Division title for a shot at him. EC3 says he knows Spud, and says he'll make him an offer he can't refuse. As EC3 leaves, so does the barbershop quintet, but the bass vocalist gets an Angle Slam.

Lashley beats Eric Young in his first match since returning from injury, thanks to the distraction from Chris Melendez. After the match, Chris Melendez goes after EY, and Lashley has to hold him back.

It's decision time for Rockstar Spud. Keep the X Division title? Or cash it in for a shot at the World title? Spud doesn't know what to do...

After talking about her recent match with Gail Kim to Jade and Marti Bell, Taryn Terrell gives Awesome Kong a shot at the Knockouts title. She tells Jade and Mari Bell that they're playing alone and to "go get their victim."

Chris Melendez tells Eric Young he's taken him to the danger zone...and he wants a fight.

Austin Aries sits down with Rockstar Spud, telling him to give it some thought before making his decision.

Brooke beats Jade after Brooke tricks Jade into accidentally kicking Marti Bella right in the face.

Jeremy Borash interviews Ethan Carter III, who says Rockstar Spud deserve to be a champion, but only an X Division Champion. He then gets a very important phone call...

Jade and Marti attack Rebel for celebrating with Brooke backstage after Brooke's win.

The Rising (Drew Galloway, Micah, Eli Drake) beat The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki).

Ethan Carter III has just had a telephone conversation that will change Rockstar Spud's life forever...

Mickie James runs into "The Cowboy" James Storm in Nashville.

Jeremy Borash interviews Rockstar Spud in the ring. As he decides, Kurt Angle shows up and tells Spud that while he respects him, he needs to know what he's up against. Before Spud can make a decision, Ethan Carter III and Tyrus show up. Ethan Carter III has gotten off the phone with Dixie Carter, and he offers Spud a lifetime contract as Chief of Staff if he keeps the X Division title and lets him get the shot at Angle. Ethan Carter III has none of it, and tells him to stick it all up his arse as he refuses to throw the last fourteen years of his career away. He cashes in the X Division title before EC3 shoves him into the corner and retreats. Angle grabs a microphone and challenges EC3 and Tyrus to a tag match tonight against him and Spud.

Bobby Roode and Austin Aries talk backstage. They're 0-2, and they need to go big or go home. Aries hands Bobby Roode a gray T-shirt.

Storm and Mickie talk in Nashville. It becomes apparent that this isn't a meeting with music executives, as Storm asks Mickie to join The Revolution. Mickie is officially creeped out, refuses and leaves. Storm stops Mickie and tells her he respects her decision, but as he hugs her, he grimaces.

The Dirty Heels (Bobby Roode and Austin Aries) beat The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) with a low blow and a chair shot behind the referee's back to go 1-2 in the Best of Five series.

"The Cowboy" James Storm pushes Mickie down into the nearby train tracks in Nashville, and tells Magnus through her cellphone that "she's not coming home for dinner."

Madison Rayne is in the ring. She complains that unless you're either a member of The Dollhouse (Taryn Terrell, Jade, Marti Bell) or Gail Kim, you get nothing in TNA. She also mentions Velvet Sky's actions from last week and says that if she gets enough attention, she'll show up. Sure enough, Velvet Sky shows up and is allowed over the security barricade. Madison tells Velvet what her place is by slapping her, but Velver breaks her in half with a Spear before hitting a Stunner. After this, Angelina Love shows up again, and Velvet Sky fights off Love's personal security one more only to get cuffed and hauled off a second time...but not before Love attacks Velvet. After Velvet is hauled off, two real security guards show up and cuff Angelina Love for attacking a fan, and this time her personal security can't help her as she too is hauled off.

Rockstar Spud and Kurt Angle beat Ethan Carter III and Tyrus. After the match, Austin Aries shows up and admires Spud's decision yet questions his decision making, before announcing that he will cash in his Feast or Fired briefcase for the World Heavyweight Championship next week on the winner of Rockstar Spud vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Ethan Carter III is ticked off, still insisting he's #1.

Kurt Angle shows up with Chris Melendez. After singing Melendez' praises, Angle asks him to team up with him tonight, which he does. Angle then calls out The Rising (Drew Galloway, Micah, Eli Drake), and they show up. Angle thanks them for fighting off The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki), but Galloway says not to worry about it as they're riding together and because he's "Kurt Freakin' Angle." Galloway then tells Angle that one day he'll face Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and Angle responds by saying he never backs down from a challenge. Eric Young shows up and says he will never quit until he takes the World title from Angle, but Angle responds by telling EY to shut up, as he hung out with cancer and the cancer nipped him in the ass. Eric Young tells Angle he's hanging with losers and says he only cares about his team: The Beat Down Clan, who attack Angle's team from behind. All of a sudden, someone else comes out to even the odds: Lashley, who breaks Eric Young in half with a Spear before Angle confirms Lashley as the final member of his team.

The Dollhouse (Jade and Marti Bell) beat Rebel and Brooke. After the match, Taryn Terrell says she has some juicy gossip concerning Gail Kim's family. (During the match, it is mentioned that The Menagerie - Knux, Rebel, Crazzy Steve and The Freak - are no more, as they have returned to the carnival business.)

Eric Young tells The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki) he's got a guy lined up in case Homicide doesn't show up.

Ethan Carter III shows up with Tyrus. He wants answers as to why he's not #1 on the Impact Top 5 when he won last week and Eric Young last. Enter Mr. Anderson, who shows up with a steel chair and challenges Tyrus to a match as he and EC3, with the stipulation that if he beats Tyrus, he gets EC3. EC3 rejects the challenge, but Anderson asks Tyrus if he's going to continue being EC3's bitch while calling him one. Tyrus tells EC3 to get him a referee and charges into the ring.

Mr. Anderson beats Tyrus. Ethan Carter III, who is at the top of the ramp after being banned from ringside, is in shock.

We see a preview of BBQ Pitmasters on Destination America.

Magnus shows up. He says that "The Cowboy" James Storm deserves a hundred guitar shots to the head like the one he got last week, and says Storm is full of crap. He calls Storm out so he can finish the job, but he gets Abyss instead. Abyss wants revenge for the guitar shot to Storm's head, and both Abyss and Magnus brawl. The props for BBQ Pitmasters gets used in the ensuing brawl, but when Manik and Khoya show up, the numbers game finally catches up with Magnus.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) beat The Dirty Heels (Bobby Roode and Austin Aries) to win the first round in their Best of Five series.

Taryn Terrell has met up with Gail Kim's step-daughters...and has a little number ready for her husband Robert...

The Dollhouse (Jade, Marti Bell, Taryn Terrell) show up. After talking about spending time with Gail Kim's step-daughters, Taryn Terrell disrobes to reveal she's wearing some of Gail Kim's lingerie. Gail Kim shows up, angered that Taryn has brought her family into this, and when Marti Bell talks back to Gail, Gail tells her to shut up. Taryn soon mentions Robert again, and this sends Gail Kim over the edge, causing her to go on a ring-clearing warpath.

Robbie E beats Jessie Godderz...three times. Each time, Jessie asks for a rematch, but Robbie E wins with a quick pin. After the third win, Jessie snaps and beats the tar out of Robbie.

Both Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Chris Melendez, Drew Galloway, Micah, Lashley) and Team Young (Eric Young, MVP, Low Ki, Kenny King) convene one last time before the main event...but who is the fifth man for Team Young?

After the match, MVP, King and Low Ki attack The Rising, and Homicide finally shows up with a baton to turn the tide in favor of The BDC. Low Ki then attacks Drew Galloway with a pipe.

Mike Tenay interviews Rockstar Spud...and Spud has come a long way.

In The Dollhouse's (Jade and Marti Bell) debut (which starts by them forcing Christy Hemme to announce them together as The Dollhouse), Laura Dennis (better known as Cherry Bomb) beats Jade by disqualification after Marti Bell attacks the referee for ejecting her for tripping Dennis. After Christy Hemme annouces Dennis is the winner, The Dollhouse take their anger out on Hemme by sending her into the steel steps and putting the jawbreaker they were licking on in her mouth.

Mickie decides to go for it. Magnus is a bit stone faced.

Backstage, Davey Richards reminds Magnus not to let "The Cowboy" James Storm deceive him and his family like he almost deceived him.

As he does so, Lashley shows up and tells him "we fight," telling him that he wants a rematch. Angle tells him he's got it...and out come the officials to separate them. He tells Bram he'll fight him anywhere and everywhere, and says he's up to it before trying to cat-call Mickie. Magnus rushes towards Bram only to get hit with a low blow. Magnus beats Bram by disqualification after Bram hits a low blow in front of the ref. After the match, Bram attacks Magnus with a steel chair, then tries to tie him up and hit him with a cueball. Mickie James, who showed up ringside to will her husband through the match, is held hostage, and even her slapping Bram doesn't stop him from holding her hostage. Bram lets her go after Magnus kisses his boot, which he does. Bram leaves the ring after letting Mickie go, calling Magnus "pathetic."

Brooke beats Robbie E in an inter-gender match despite the distractions and interference attempts by Jessie Godders, DJ Z and Angelina Love.

Ethan Carter III beats Rockstar Spud in a Hair Vs. Hair match. After the match, EC3 shows respect to Spud and shakes hands with him, saying that Spud doesn't deserve to have his hair shaved tonight and that he proved that he was a man, but it was all a set-up for EC3 to attack him and shave his head in the corner.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for January 16, 2015

MVP shows up with Samoa Joe, Low Ki and Kenny King. MVP has us all fooled again, and he's back in the driver's seat. He's looked within "the family" for like-minded individuals, and has recuited Joe and Low Ki as a result, and has now created what he calls the Beat Down Clan. Eric Young, while not a member, has helped MVP out last week and MVP brings him out anyway. Eric Young says he attacked Bobby Roode because Roode never reciprocated the same kind of friendship Young gave him. He took the gold from Roode, and tonight, he plans to take everything else. MVP then brings out Lashley, but Lashley doesn't show up. When MVP re-introduces Lashley, Kurt Angle's music plays instead and Kurt Angle shows up. While Angle can't book matches anymore, he can make the whole Beat Down Clan tap. Samoa Joe gets out of the ring and gets in Angle's face only to be smacked in the face. When the rest of the Clan approaches Angle, security keeps them away from Angle. Angle then decides to fight Samoa Joe, right here, right now.

Samoa Joe beats Kurt Angle with the Rear Naked Choke after sending Angle into the ref and kicking him in the nuts. After the match, the Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Joe, Low Ki) and Eric Young all beat up Angle, but they are forced to retreat when Bobby Roode rushes in with the steel chair.

Bobby Roode is in the ring. He's trying to hold back his anger, but stuff has gone too far, especially with Eric Young. He plans to make Eric Young pay for what he's done...tonight.

The Revolution - featuring "The Cowboy" James Storm, Abyss, The Great Sanada, Manik and now Mahabali Shera - watch the next match from the nosebleed seats.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) to become #1 contenders for the TNA World Tag Team Championships.

Next week on Impact Wrestling: Feast or Fired!

As MVP and Kenny King chat backstage, it becomes readily apparent that Eric Young is preoccupied with Bobby Roode.

Ethan Carter III and Tyrus take control of the camera station, and use it to harass Jeremy Borash, challenging him to a match against EC3 next week and giving him 30 minutes to make a decision on whether to accept it before they can do worse than shave his head.

Lashley has arrived...

Eric Young beats Bobby Roode in a no-disqualification match. The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Samoa Joe, Low Ki) show up, and MVP mocks Bobby Roode before announcing that Lashley will be here later tonight.

Austin Aries defends the X Division title in a rematch against former champion Low Ki...and knows he's in for a war now that Low Ki is part of the Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Samoa Joe, Ki).

Brooke calls Robbie E a "classless Jersey douchebag" before her match tonight.

The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) beat Brooke and Taryn Terrell after Robbie E distracts Brooke and Velvet Sky grabs Brooke's tights during the schoolgirl pin. After the match, the lights go out, and Awesome King is in the ring when they come back on. Angelina Love eats an Implant Buster, and DJ Z is choke slammed when he unwisely thinks he can take her on. After this, Havok shows up, and both Havok and Kong have a staredown. Security rushes in to quickly separate both of these titans.

Ethan Carter III finds Jeremy Borash backstage, and gets to JB enough to get his goat and make JB fight him next week.

"The Cowboy" James Storm introduces us to his new disciple: Mahabali Shera, now known as "Khoya," the Hindi word for "lost." Storm says he was lost when he found him...but he is now found. Next week, we see Khoya in action.

Low Ki beats Austin Aries to win the TNA X Division Championship, thanks to the distraction and behind-the-back interference from the rest of the Beat Down Clan (Samoa Joe, MVP, Kenny King).

The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Samoa Joe, Low Ki) and Eric Young are in the ring. MVP introduces Lashley into the ring, and this time he shows up. MVP says he made Lashley and that the TNA World Heavyweight Championship belongs to the Beat Down Clan, but Lashley begs to differ. It becomes obvious that both MVP and Lashley are going their separate ways, so MVP decides to be merciful...but it's all a trap and the Beat Down Clan and Eric Young all beat him up in response. MVP steals the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Lashley, declaring that it belongs to the Beat Down Clan, ending the show.
