Josh Mathews and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero interview both Matt Hardy and Ethan Carter III. Hardy says the Group of 16 is a step closer to the TNA World title, while EC3 calls Matt a facade and that the series doesn't end until he wins. EC3 is sick of Matt, who says that they will eventually cross again in the Group of 16 and wants to face off against him. EC3 says that everything he touches turns to gold, and then refuses to be on screen with Matt Hardy.
Eric Young tells "The Cowboy" James Storm not to come into the ring, as he will hurt him if he does.
Tigre Uno beats Manik. Tigre Uno earns three points on Group X Division and creates a three-way tie between him, Manik and DJ Z.
Eric Young beats "The Cowboy" James Storm. Eric Young earns three points on Group TNA Originals and leads with six points to advance to the Round of 16. James Storm is eliminated.
Josh Mathews and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero interview Matt Hardy. Hardy calls Ethan Carter III a disrespectful, hateful person, and he plans to beat EC3 and become world champ again. He calls his relinquishing of the title as a way of setting example and says it was done for the greater good. He predicts Bobby Roode will win the main event tonight.
Mahabali Shera beats Aiden O'Shea. Mahabali Shera earns three points, and automatically advances to the Group of 16 with nine points.
Eric Young says it doesn't matter who is in his way, as he will knock them down. He says that he is never going to stop and that he will keep winning and taking as long as he draws breath.
Ethan Carter III refuses to wait for Eli Drake vs Crimson to end for his interview.
Eli Drake beats Crimson by submission. Eli Drake earns three points on Group Future 4. Eli Drake now leads Group Future 4 with seven points and advances to the Group of 16. Crimson is eliminated.
Josh Mathews and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero interview Ethan Carter III, who says he is still not okay after losing the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and says he will only be okay when he beats Matt Hardy and takes him out of the World Title Series, and goes so far as to take his beef with Hardy personally. He doesn't care who joins the Group of 16 with him, as he'll end up being the winner anyway.
Bobby Roode beats Abyss after avoiding a swing from Janice. Bobby Roode earns three points on Group TNA Champions. Abyss is eliminated.
