Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 8, 2016

Dixie Carter is in the ring, with the locker room surrounding the ring. Tonight is the last time we will see Kurt Angle wrestle in TNA as he squares off against Lashley tonight. She introduces Angle one last time, and says she'll never forget the time he made his TNA debut, as well as what he's done for the company. Drew Galloway thanks Angle not only for their recent match but for all that he's done for the TNA locker room. Kurt says he came here ten years ago to find himself, and says he has become a better person. After he thanks everyone for everything, Lashley shows up. He says that today will be a rough day, but also a great experience for everyone here, and is happy to have faced the man who got him into the business. After thanking Angle, he says the only sad thing is that Angle isn't ready to wrestle him, as an attempt to get into Angle's head.

Eric Young retains the TNA King of the Mountain Championship against Bram, Jimmy Havoc, Big Damo and Will Ospreay.

We look back at Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe at Genesis 2006.

Dixie Carter runs into Maria Kanellis, who tells her that "The Miracle" Mike Bennett is calling her out, and asks her to listen to what he has to say. She also wants a leadership position in the Knockouts division, and asks Dixie to get his assistant a call. Dixie tells Maria she saw what happened last week between her and Gail Kim, and that she believes in actions rather than words. Maria is not impressed as Dixie walks away.

Maria Kanellis and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett are in the ring. Bennett says TNA needs him now more than ever, and that Kurt Angle ducked and cheap-shotted him on his way out the door. He then says the miracle here is that he will be named the #1 contender to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and that he will go on to win the World title and save pro wrestling. When he calls out Dixie Carter, however, he gets Drew Galloway, who calls him out on his entitlement complex, and tells him to stop running his mouth like a little bitch and earn his title shot. Bennett then says that he carries around the Feast or Fired briefcase like it was handed to him, then tells Drew to get Dixie for him. Galloway turns around as if to do that, then turns around and punches Bennett in the face. After a short brawl, Bennett retreats.

We look back at the King of the Mountain match from Slammiversary 2007.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) thank Kurt Angle personally backstage. Angle thinks highly of The Wolves, and as he tells them to kick some ass tonight, he tells Davey Richards that he's passing the Ankle Lock Submission on to him and that he'll give him some pointers on how to use it later.

Gail Kim retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Jade.

Ethan Carter III takes on Matt Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship for the third time next week. Matt Hardy doesn't like this, but he plans to take EC3 down for good.

Beer Money ("The Cowboy" James Storm and Bobby Roode) beat The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) in a fierce match to win the TNA Tag Team Championships for the fifth time! After the match, Davey Richards is helped to the back by officials.

We look back at the Kurt Angle Hall of Fame Tribute before Bound For Glory 2013.

Lashley confronts Drew Galloway backstage. He tells Drew that after Kurt Angle leaves, there will be a new top dog in town...and it won't be Drew Galloway.

We see some Twitter videos where TNA fans thank Kurt Angle for everything he's done for TNA.

Mike Bennett meets up with Kurt Angle backstage, saying he could have wrestled him instead of Lashley in his last match. Angle tells Bennett he'll wish he never comes back, and makes it clear he can tear him up if he does.

Grado shows up, saying he has proof that he was screwed out of his job. Eli Drake and Jessie Godderz show up, and says he'll bash Eli Drake in the head with his Feast or Fired backstage so much it'll knock some sense into him. Jessie says they'll put him out of his misery so the TNA audience won't have to deal with him anymore. They go on the attack, and when Mahabali Shera shows up to help Grado out, Eli Drake hits Shera in the back with the briefcase. When he re-focuses on Grado, however, he accidentally hits Jessie Godders with his Feast or Fired briefcase when Grado ducks. Grado grabs the briefcase and takes Eli Drake down, then runs off with it.

We see a video tribute package to Kurt Angle.

Lashley beats Kurt Angle in Angle's final TNA match. Lashley and Angle show respect after the match, then Lashley attacks Angle. Drew Galloway and Eddie Edwards confront Lashley only to get Speared. Ethan Carter III then shows up and stares Lashley down, and Lashley responds by leaving the ring with a look of malicious glee on his face.

Next week: TNA is live from Orlando, Florida! Jeff Hardy returns!

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for September 2, 2015

Jeff and Karen Jarrett show up with the Global Force Wrestling roster. He tells Dixie Carter that he tried to help her, and he did help her with the TNA-GFW super-show. Karen then tells Jeff that she did what she did and that it needed to be done because she wanted to make sure he got what he deserved, saying she knows how much Jeff loves TNA as well as his family, and says she asked Chris Adonis to take out Bully Ray and Drew Galloway. Jeff then thanks Karen personally for "setting the wheels in motion" so he can take back what is his and starting a corporate hostile takeover. He plans to start another wrestling empire, and TNA - which he still has partial ownership in - is right in the center of it. He tells Dixie and "the boys in the back" that nobody can compete with the GFW roster, and they're going to prove it. Chris "The Adonis" Mordetzky takes the microphone and says that the GFW is not impressed with what the TNA locker room has to offer. He challenges anyone in the TNA locker room to come to the ring and face him. Lashley answers the challenge.

Lashley beats Chris "The Adonis" Mordetzky by disqualification when the Global Force Wrestling attacks Lashley after he lands the Spear on Mordetzky. The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) try to help Lashley out, but they are easily overcome by the numbers game. Jeff Jarrett asks his wife Karen Jarrett to come out with "the little special surprise."

We find out that Jeff and Karen Jarrett's "little special surprise" is the Feast or Fired Briefcase containing the shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championships. The briefcase was taken and held by Magnus, who since left TNA to go to GFW, and Karen says that Magnus gave the briefcase to her. Jeff Jarrett primes Brian Myers and Trevor Lee to take the tag team titles, but Earl Hebner refuses to cash in the briefcase for Jarrett. Jarrett and Hebner fight, and Jarrett easily overpowers him. A few members of the GFW roster bring a reluctant Steve Stifler in to cash in the briefcase and referee the match.

Brian Myers and Trevor Lee beat The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) to win the TNA World Tag Team Championships after Eddie Edwards is hit in the head with the Feast or Fired Briefcase by the rest of the Global Wrestling Force roster.

Bobby Roode could care less about the choas being caused by Global Force Wrestling in the ring, and is tired of being disrespected. He plans to take the King of the Mountain title from PJ Black.

Jeremy Borash interviews Ethan Carter III and Tyrus. After some youth literature puns involving The Hardy Boys and Choose Your Own Adventure, EC3 says he plans to retain against Matt Hardy and tells Jeff Hardy he likes his coffee hot, his women brunettes, and both his title reign and undefeated streak intact.

Dixie Carter has entered the arena...

Before the next match, Bobby Roode tells PJ Black to look around the arena and tells him that this is TNA, that he's a TNA original and that he has built everything he sees before him for the last 10+ years...and that he's earned the respect that he's been given. Roode doesn't know what's going on with Global Force Wrestling, but this is his, TNA's and the fans' house, and he promises to kick his ass and become King of the Mountain Champion.

Bobby Roode beats PJ Black to win the TNA King of the Mountain Championship after Drew Galloway stops Sonjay Dutt from interfering in the match. After the match, Jeff Jarrett and the Global Force Wrestling roster rush into the ring, but Roode gets out of dodge. Jarrett tells Dixie Carter that he and GFW aren't leaving until he takes back what is his and - according to Jarrett - stole from him. Dixie Carter shows up, flabbergasted at Jarrett's accusations, and tells him that all she wanted was to work by his side. Jarrett says he and Carter were a very successful team until she took his power and replaced him a series of failed regimes. He says the days of failed regimes are over, and that GFW will complete the take-over. Carter reminds Jarrett that he left TNA and she has stayed in the fight that continues to this day, and that Jarrett removed himself from power, not her. Dixie admits Jarrett taught her a lot about wrestling, but that he also taught her a lot about ego, especially when he took his ball and went home. Carter acknowledges Jarrett still has ownership in the company, and proposes a match where she puts her ownership at stake and the winner gets both her majority shares and Jarrett's shares in the company. Jarrett is willing to take the challenge, but says Dixie has nobody behind her. Drew Galloway shows up again, and tells Jarrett that he and GFW can go straight to hell, and that he's here to stand up for Dixie and TNA. The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) and Lashley, show up when Galloway says that if they want a hostile take-over, they're "going to have to go through all of us." Galloway deems them "Team TNA," and tells Jarrett and GFW to fashion the white flag of surrender.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett tells the Global Force Wrestling roster to keep the fight going.

The 2016 TNA Knockouts Calendar is available right now at TNA Shop.

Kenny King is in the ring. He says he has been going through a bit of an identity crisis in the past year, and has come to the realization that he doesn't want to be the king who sukcer punches a man when he's not looking, relies on outside interference, and doesn't take orders and happens to be a leader. He decides to bring back Open Fight Night (in a way) and issues an open challenge to anyone in the back, regardless of whether they're from TNA or Global Force Wrestling. Bram answers the challenge, and both men take the fight to the ramp before the bell can even ring.

Bram beats Kenny King.

Jeremy Borash interviews The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). They know that Ethan Carter III loves to play the manipulator, and Matt says that Jeff's belief in him fuels him. Matt plans to take the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from EC3.

Velvet Sky shows up. She says that she's been keeping to herself ever since her return due to the changing landscape of TNA and the Knockouts Division. She says she's changed with it, then addresses The Dollhouse (Taryn Terrell, Jade, Marti Bell, Rebel), which she says is more out of control than ever before. She calls out Taryn, saying that she's going to make her wish she never knew her. Taryn appears...on the TitanTron. Taryn is tired of being compared to her, and says she's never crossed path her because she'd destroy her on every level. She tells Velvet that The Dollhouse will tear her apart, and sics them on Velvet. Velvet tells them that they didn't bring enough people with them, and decides to fight them anyway. Not surprisingly, she falls victim to the numbers game, but all of a sudden, Angelina Love and Madison Rayne show up and even the odds. The Beautiful People have fully re-united, and make it crystal clear to The Dollhouse that they're back for them.

Backstage, Dixie Carter tells Drew Galloway, Lashley and The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) that she has to put it all on the line and take complete control of the company.

Ethan Carter III retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Matt Hardy, after a low blow that the ref could not see when EC3 was pushed into him. As per the stipulations of the match, Jeff Hardy has to be EC3's personal assistant. Jeff reluctantly raises EC3's hand in victory.

Final Impact - Impact Wresting recap for August 26, 2015

The show begins with The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) showing up. Jeff apologizes for breaking his leg and promises he'll make it up to the fans. He then says that in the beginning, only he, Jeff and the fans believed they would make it...and here they are. Jeff then says that Matt needs one more shot, and if he can get it, he can become TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Matt says it's been one year since TNA welcomed him back, and everyone from the company to the fans to his family have been incredible to him. He says that his last match with Ethan Cater III was incredible and could have went either way, and says he feels he is the man who can carry TNA into the future, and tells EC3 that he's taking the World title. Just like Jeff, he feels he can become World champion with one more shot. Ethan Carter III and Tyrus show up. EC3 says that in 1999, he was at a live event for a match that involved ladders...and the Hardys. Now that he's dealing with them, he says he couldn't be any more disappointed, and says that he was victorious in his last meeting with Matt...and that he's not getting his one more chance. EC3 and Tyrus turn around to leave, but Jeff Hardy wants to know from EC3 why he's a "grade A jackass." EC3 says he is a franchise, and says the World title is "top guy stuff." He calls Jeff "a daredevil who can't stick a landing" and tells him to tread lightly. Jeff knows he's not medically cleared, but he's ready to throw down with a steel chair. EC3 whispers into Tyrus' ear, then says he's a granter of opportunities. He says that if the crowd can chant "Matt 4 Champ," he'll grant the rematch. He grants it, but there's a caveat: if Matt wins, he becomes World champion. If EC3 wins, Jeff has to be his personal assistant and has to do all his menial work.

Eric Young tells Chris Melendez he can't be held responsible for what happens to him, and says he's crazy to accept another match from him. He's taken everything he can from him, and now he plans to take the one thing he has left: his prosthetic leg.

Jeff and Karen Jerrett says they're happy to be here and that tonight will be a huge night on Impact Wrestling.

Eric Young beats Chris Melendez after putting legs hand on the ropes during the pinfall. EY takes Melendez' leg, calls himself a "big game hunter," then says that "it's going on the mantle."

Tigre Uno retains the TNA X Division Championship against Sonjay Dutt and DJ Z.

"The Cowboy" James Storm tells Abyss and Manik that Mahabali Shera (or Khoya) is no longer part of The Revolution, and that it's all about them now. He wants Abyss and Manik to bring the gold back to them. Storm tells Manik that if he ever sees him dancing like a monkey again, he will cut him down.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Revolution (Abyss and Manik), thanks to Mahabali Shera stopping "The Cowboy" James Storm from doing much in the way of interference.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) appear again. Jeff says that Ethan Carter III is always throwing money around, and there are still a lot of unknowns about the deal. Nevertheless, Jeff accepts Ethan Carter III's caveat for Matt Hardy vs. EC3 for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship next week.

Brooke beats Velvet Sky by disqualification when Jade and Marti Bell attack Brooke outside of the ring. Jade and Marti Bell continue their attack on Velvet Sky, but Rebel shows up to make the save...or so we think. Rebel kicks Velvet Sky in the back of the head, and the three of them attack Velvet Sky. Taryn Terrell appears on the TitanTron, telling Velvet she made a mistake messing with The Dollhouse (Taryn, Jade, Marti), and that she just met the newest member. Rebel is officially a member of The Dollhouse.

Bobby Roode plans to prove to Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter and the wrestling world why he is the "It Factor of Professional Wrestling" by getting a shot at the TNA King of the Mountain Championship.

Mr. Anderson says that actions speak louder than words...and that's what he has to say about the TNA King of the Mountain Championship. Meanwhile, Drew Galloway is on the phone backstage...

Bobby Roode beats James Storm, Lashley and Mr. Anderson to become #1 contender to the TNA King of the Mountain Championship.

The cover girl for the 2016 TNA Knockouts Championship is...all three. Brooke, Gail Kim and Velvet Sky will all be on the cover of the calendar.

Ethan Carter III says that Jeff and Matt Hardy accepting his challenge is the best decision they've ever made, and says that after Matt loses, he wants no qualms about it as he welcomes Jeff Hardy to Team EC3.

Dixie Carter shows up. She says that when someone sincerely offers their help, you listen and be a team player, and do not let stubbornness get in the way. She says that she was one of the few people who knew that the opportunity for Jeff Jarrett to help was there, and says she couldn't be any happier. She asks him to come to the ring, and he does. Jarrett says that the new chapter in their relationship was so out of the blue that it was the very last thing he was expecting, but he's glad it happened. He says that he's glad that Dixie accepted his help after what has happened since that phone call, as it is win-win for TNA, Global Force Wrestling and the wrestling fan. He says they've kept it going, but they've got to keep it growing. Dixie says that together, he and Jarrett are unstoppable, and that the show needs a leader. Before Dixie can make a decision on whether to make Jarrett that leader, Drew Galloway crashes the proceedings. He says that the TNA-GFW partnership has gotten everyone in the back fired, and respects Jeff Jarrett for what he's doing, but says that he found out something twenty minutes ago: security footage showing the license plates of the two getaway cars from the attacks, both sharing one name: Jeff Jarrett. Galloway knows that with him and Bully Ray out of the picture, Jarrett has everything to gain and nothing to lose. Jarrett vehemently defends himself, but Galloway threatens to drop him where he stands if he's lying about who it was. Suddenly, the perpetrator reveals themselves: Karen Jarrett, who says she did it for her family and for Global Force Wrestling, saying that Jeff deserves this. She says that Jeff started TNA, and that one little spark can cause a giant inferno. All of a sudden, Jeff Jarrett kicks Drew Galloway in the balls, and as his Global Force Wrestling storm the ring and attack Galloway, Jarrett tells Dixie that sometimes, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Rockstar Spud and the TNA locker room rush in to counter them, but it turns into an all-out brawl where the GFW roster comes out on top. The show ends with the GFW roster and the Jarretts celebrating the start of a hostile takeover of TNA.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for August 12, 2015

Jeff and Karen Jarrett shows up with various members of the Global Force Wrestling roster. The stars of GFW square off against the stars of TNA!

Jeff and Karen Jarrett enter the ring to start the show. He is surprised by what has transpired since the phone call from Dixie Carter. He talks about his founding of Global Force Wrestling, and how it is competition at the highest level...which is what tonight will be like now that he is in charge. He plans to create a new rivalry, now that he's asked Dixie to bring Global Force Wrestling back, and he's doing it for the fans. For the first time ever, GFW takes on TNA. and Sonjay Dutt of GFW taks on Tigre Uno of TNA. TNA's Awesome Kong takes on GFW's Lei'D Tapa. The Wolves defend the TNA Tag Team titles against Trevor Lee and Brian Myers. Jarrett also mentions that he will defend the TNA King of the Mountain championship tonight, but as he does, Eric Young shows up. EY says he doesn't care about the fans or Jarrett; he only cares about himself. He calls himself the King of the World, saying he beat Kurt Angle twice and took Chris Melendez's leg off because he felt like it. He then demands he play promoter and make a match between him and Jarrett for the King of the Mountain title, with every intention of taking the title as well as Jarrett's dignity and career. Jarrett says he doesn't work for him, and he damn sure doesn't work for EY. He says that the King of the Mountain is neither a GFW or a TNA title, and that the first-ever interpromotional King of the Mountain match is tonight. He gives EY a spot in it, then leaves. EY attacks Jarrett as soon as Jarrett turns his back. Members of the GFW chase EY out of the ring, and EY is joined by some TNA wrestlers. Men from both sides brawl against each other.

Jeff Jarrett tells his roster to win his matches and says this is not an invasion.

Royal Red introduces himself and re-introduces Lei'D Tapa to the TNA audience before the next match, and says that all who challenge her will bow down.

Awesome Kong vs. Lei'D Tapa ends in a double count-out. Both women brawl after the match, but Awesome Kong brings it to a quick end.

We meet PJ Black (formerly Justin Gabriel). He prepares for King of the Mountain like he does the rest of his matches, and he's here to show the world what PJ Black is all about.

Drew Galloway is no stranger to the King of the Mountain match, and he plans to get the job done for TNA and himself after being in such a match once before at Slammiversary XIII.

Bobby Roode is here. He says that to say that things are getting crazy around here is an understatement. There are a lot of unanswered questions with a lot of unknowns around here, and he's frustrated. Roode is also frustrated that he wasn't even considered for tonight's King of the Mountain match, and says if Jarrett has a problem with it, he should say it to his face. He also calls out Rockstar Spud for ending Austin Aries' TNA career last week, and Spud shows up. He says that that match is proof that anybody can come in and beat anybody at any time. Roode then sarcastically thanks him for a job well done. Spud says he'd never thought he'd be in the same ring as Roode and that Roode could be such a condescending prick. After talking about all the times he's proved people wrong, from becoming a wrestler to facing Kurt Angle to beating Austin Aries and ending his TNA career, and how he's been an underdog his entire life, he tells Roode that unlike other "little guys," this little guy fights back. Roode tells Spud he's right, but says that if he was in the ring with Spud and not Aries, he'd make sure he'd end Spud's career, and he'll take his aggression out on anybody that he likes. Spud then get the first shot on Roode, but Roode gets the upper hand and beats Spud up, hitting him with the microphone, throwing him into the steel steps and choking him with own jacket before putting him in the Crossface.

Jeff Jarrett confronts Bobby Roode for his actions towards Rockstar Spud. Roode calls it a wake-up for Jeff Jarrett and TNA management.

Lashley beats "The Man" Jessie Godderz to qualify for the King of the Mountain match later tonight.

Drew Galloway has been found knocked out backstage in the same area Bully Ray was knocked out last week...

Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett and Dixie Carter meet up to figure out what to do about the mystery attacks. Jeff pledges to keep an eye on the show while Dixie heads to the hospital to check on Drew Galloway.

Ethan Carter III shows up. He talks about what the TNA World Heavyweight Championship means to him: a culmination of his life work and proof that he's better than any other person in any locker room. He goes on to make fun of Matt Hardy's loss to him and says that he will be world champion here, now and forever. Matt Hardy shows up and congratulates EC3 for beating him in a match that he and brother Jeff Hardy made into a TNA specialty, but tells EC3 that he is not going away as long as he is champion. EC3 admits that nobody has ever hit him as hard as when Hardy leg dropped him through the table, but he can't decide if he gets another shot at the World championship and lets the fans do it. The fans want it, and Hardy wants it, but EC3 ultimately says no and Tyrus clocks Hardy before holding him down so EC3 can hit him with the World title.

Taryn Terrell asks Jade and Marti Bell to fight her in a cage and end her forever so Gail Kim won't be able to lay a finger on her again. This match is official for next week.

Chris Mordetzky calls King of the Mountain Global Force Wrestling's chance to outshine TNA, and his own chance to walk out as the best man and become King of the Mountain.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) beat Trevor Lee and Brian Myers.

Lashley says that he can go into any match and beat anyone they throw at him. He plans to defend TNA in the King of the Mountain match and defend TNA well by destroying anyone thrown in his path.

Tigre Uno beats Sonjay Dutt.

Jeff Jarrett meets Ethan Carter III and Tyrus and tells EC3 he's proud of him, but EC3 thinks this is some sort of facade and tells him he's got his eyes on him. He tells him to watch the King of the Mountain match tonight, as the winner gets a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Mr. Anderson's recent feud with Bram has made him come to the conclusion that he's quitting when he's good and ready. Next week, Anderson takes on Bram in an Open Mic Challenge. Whoever grab the microphone gets to use it as a weapon.

Robbie E replaces Drew Galloway in the King of the Mountain match after Drew Galloway was attacked earlier in the night.

PJ Black beats Robbie E, PJ Black, Chris Mordetzky and Eric Young to win the TNA King of the Mountain Championship! Ethan Carter III can be seen holding up the TNA Heavyweight Championship at the top of the entrance ramp.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 1, 2015

The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki, Hernandez) beat The Rising (Drew Galloway, Eli Drake, Micah), forcing The Rising to disband.

The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Hernandez) celebrate the dissolution of The Rising (Drew Galloway, Eli Drake, Micah) backstage.

Magnus is in the ring. He tells "The Cowboy" James Storm that his actions as of late have only made the bond between him and Mickie James stronger. Magnus introduces James back to the ring for the first time since Storm pushed her into the train tracks. As she sends a message to James Storm, Storm shows up along with Khoya. He says Mickie should thank him for not pushing her onto the train tracks any harder than he did, otherwise she would be in a wheelchair. He also says he tried to get her to join his Revolution just to prove to the world how easy it is to manipulate a woman. This gets Mickie James good and ticked off, and Mickie tells Storm to go find that one woman so that she and Magnus can tear them up.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) beat The Dirty Heels (Bobby Roode and Austin Aries) 2-1 at the last minute (both figuratively and literally) in a 30-minute Tag Team Iron Man Match to win the TNA World Tag Team Championships!

Taryn Terrell retains the TNA Knockouts Championship against Brooke and Awesome Kong thanks to Jade and Marti Bell. After the match, it is revealed that Gail Kim is coming back.

Mike Tenay sits down with Jeff and Karen Jarrett.

Ethan Carter III beats Kurt Angle to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion!

Wednesday, June 24, 2015

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 24, 2015

Ethan Carter III tells Jeremy Borash that Kurt Angle's opponent tonight is a "TNA institution."

Kurt Angle enters the ring. He tells Ethan Carter III his run for the World title is coming to an end. He tells EC3 to bring out his mystery opponent right now, but only EC3 and Tyrus show up. After saying he will take the title from him in seven days, Angle tells him to shut up so he can get the match over with, but EC3 continue to talk about how he's beaten everyone TNA has put in front of him, but it only convinces Angle that EC3 is in love with himself, and Angle promises to end his undefeated streak next week and make him tap. Ethan Carter III is in the mood to fight after that, but it's all a tease as he brings out the opponent he's picked for Angle tonight...Matt Hardy.

Tigre Uno beats Low Ki and Grado to win the TNA X Division Championship! Tigre Uno tells Christy Hemme that this is the greatest night of his life.

Bram interrupts Jeremy Borash to say he's calling out another TNA legend tonight. After Bram leaves, a finger gloved hand touches JB's shoulder. JB looks at the man, who is not seen, and tells him "It's time."

Taryn Terrell yells at Jade and Marti Bell for their failure last week, then declares that at Slammiversary, it will be the three of them versus Brooke and Awesome Kong in a 3-on-2 match.

Velvet Sky beats Angelina Love and earns the right to return to TNA full-time.

The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries and Bobby Roode) aren't happy with the Full Metal Mayhem stipulation, but they're still certain they can use the lack of rules to stay in the series and break The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) in half.

Who will bring balance in a world on the razor's edge? Play time is over...

MVP is back. The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Low Ki, Kenny King, Homicide) may have lost to The Rising (Drew Galloway, Eli Drake, Micah), but they're back up and they're not done yet.

The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries and Bobby Roode) beat The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) in a Full Metal Mayhem match to tie the Best of Five Series up at two wins each.

Jeremy Borash interviews Matt Hardy when Ethan Carter III shows up. It does not take long for Matt Hardy to shut EC3 up.

Jeff Jarrett and his wife Karen Jarrett suddenly show up, much to the surprise of Josh Mathews and D'Angelo Dinero. Jeff is wearing a Global Force Wrestling T-shirt. A week ago, he was promoting a GFW show when TNA contacted him with a proposal. That proposal is a match, and not just any match. It's a King of the Mountain Match, and it's at Slammiversary this Sunday. Jarrett rattles off the names of wrestlers who became TNA legends, then hands the mike to Karen so she can air her reaction. She was against this at first, but she supported Jeff, who she says didn't leave TNA the way he wanted to go out. Jarrett says he's in the match Sunday, and says he's going to come out on top in TNA one last time.

Bram's opponent is none other than Vader.

Vader beats Bram by disqualification when Bram hits him with the steel turnbuckle. Bram continues to attack him when he is attacked by none other than "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan, who hasn't been seen in TNA in almost two years.

Eric Young beats Chris Melendez.

The Rising (Drew Galloway, Eli Drake, Micah) and The Beat Down Clan (MVP, Kenny King, Low Ki) are brawling in the ring as soon as we come back from commercials, and the BDC bring out a new secret weapon: Hernandez, who also hasn't been in TNA for a while.

Kurt Angle beats Matt Hardy with the Ankle Lock Submission. After the match, Ethan Carter III and Tyrus show up, and Matt Hardy fights them both off long enough so that Angle can fight back and put EC3 in the Ankle Lock Submission to end the show.

After the show, it is revealed that the contract signing segment involving "The Cowboy" James Storm and Magnus was not shown on television because their match is that personal. Their match is non-sanctioned, which means anything goes, the referee is only there to call the bell, and that nobody can be held liable for what happens.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 3, 2015

Ethan Carter III shows up with Tyrus and two young ladies to a barbershop quintet singing his theme song. They all celebrate EC3 being #1 on the Impact Top Five. After teasing everyone with the prospect of Tyrus dancing, EC3 states that the World title is his only conquest left, and he calls out Kurt Angle in order to "commemorate his final days as champion." Kurt Angle shows up, and tells him he's not exactly #1 contender. Next week is Destination X, and though Angle is waiting for the day to shut him up, it might be Rockstar Spud as he just might cash in the X Division title for a shot at him. EC3 says he knows Spud, and says he'll make him an offer he can't refuse. As EC3 leaves, so does the barbershop quintet, but the bass vocalist gets an Angle Slam.

Lashley beats Eric Young in his first match since returning from injury, thanks to the distraction from Chris Melendez. After the match, Chris Melendez goes after EY, and Lashley has to hold him back.

It's decision time for Rockstar Spud. Keep the X Division title? Or cash it in for a shot at the World title? Spud doesn't know what to do...

After talking about her recent match with Gail Kim to Jade and Marti Bell, Taryn Terrell gives Awesome Kong a shot at the Knockouts title. She tells Jade and Mari Bell that they're playing alone and to "go get their victim."

Chris Melendez tells Eric Young he's taken him to the danger zone...and he wants a fight.

Austin Aries sits down with Rockstar Spud, telling him to give it some thought before making his decision.

Brooke beats Jade after Brooke tricks Jade into accidentally kicking Marti Bella right in the face.

This also means that Abyss can only partake in in-ring action if Magnus is in the ring, so MVP pits them against each other for Magnus' TNA World title next week. He then throws Samoa Joe into the mix to make it a three-way dance. Joe shows up and says he has a problem with this, but MVP insists that the match will be a three-way match. Magnus opens his mouth, and Joe and MVP fight Magnus and Abyss off. Eric Young jumps in to get a piece of Abyss.

Eric Young says he has to face Abyss alone after he re-created him, so that Samoa Joe can get the one-on-one match he deserves. He passionately persuades MVP why he should go up against Abyss, but Samoa Joe tells him he's "not at the head of the line." MVP gives him his shot at Abyss...and puts him in next week's TNA World title match. Samoa Joe gets fresh with EY, and Joe and Eric brawl. Joe challenges Eric Young to a match later tonight.

Bully Ray brings back the Twitter Machine!

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) ask MVP for a match with Magnus and Abyss tonight...and they get it.

Throughout the show, Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III hunted for Willow in North Carolina. Spud gets kidnapped, but Ethan manages to find out where he is...only to be attacked by Willow!

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) beat Magnus and Abyss by submission. Abyss is preoccupied with Magnus' TNA World title...and refuses to give it back to him as they head back to the back!

Angelina Love shows up. She calls out Velvet Sky, who seems to be avoiding her since last week. An angry Velvet confronts Angelina about beating down Madison Rayne last week, and Angelina counters by saying she did it for her and that without her, Velvet Sky would be vanilla, bland and soft. She says she'd rather be blackballed by everyone in the business than be "mediocre" like Velvet. Angelina faces Madison Rayne later tonight, and demands Velvet pick a side after their match is over.

Bully Ray shows up, and backstage hands bring several tables. He states Bobby Roode would have ended up like Dixie Carter if he won at Lockdown. Bobby Roode shows up and runs his mouth, then walks away...but Bully Ray takes the fight to him. The brawl ends after Roode tricks Bully into running straight into a table, breaking it in half with a mighty tackle.

Abyss confronts Magnus. Magnus tells him he has to retain the World title next week, whether Abyss likes it or not.

Knux's home has been hit by a flood. Before he can have a talk with his sister, he'll have to talk to his old man.

Velvet Sky turns on Madison Rayne, allowing Angelina Love to beat Madison. The Beautiful People are back together!

ODB tells Eric Young to be careful tonight against Samoa Joe.

Kenny King will have to wait until next week for a match.

Samoa Joe beats Eric Young with the rear naked choke after EY passes out.

Samuel Shaw is suspended for a week after cutting a snipped of Christy Hemme's hair...and smelling it.

Gunner beats "The Cowboy" James Storm in an Anything Goes match.
