Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 8, 2014

Bully Ray is driving to the TNA offices in Nashville.

Eric Young gets in the ring. He issues an open challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship as MVP hasn't booked him in a match tonight. Bobby Roode shows up to answer the challenge. He knows he lost last week, but knows that he and EY have had a lot of history in TNA together. He wants to go at it for title again, but also for old times' sake. EY accepts the challenge.

MVP talks to Eric Young. He calls his match tonight with Bobby Roode for the TNA world title off, and says he has plans for his match at Slammiversary XII. MVP wants Eric to take the night off, and says he'll take care of Roode.

Ethan Carter III beats Kurt Angle after Angle's knee injury is re-aggravated. Angle has to be checked on after the match.

MVP comes to the ring. After saying that he has plans for Slammiversary XII, he calls off Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode for tonight. Bobby Roode shows up and gets fresh with him, even going so far as to put his hands on him more than once. MVP spears the guy and whips his ass until both referees and backstage crew have to separate both men.

Bully Ray is in the Nashville office of TNA...and Rockstar Spud can't stop him.

Knux and Rebel bring out a crate...

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for August 22, 2013

Bully Ray talks to his wife Brooke Hogan on the phone, then he and Tito Ortiz meet Mr. Anderson. Before they meet, Bully Ray says he has an announcement that will shock the world.

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) and Bobby Roode show up. Roode congratulates Bully Ray for winning the TNA World title last week, then tells him he's made himself a target again. He and Bad Influence plan to take the title...and it appears they're already on their way. Roode then asks Austin Aries to join their ranks, but James Storm and Gunnar show up instead. Storm tells Bad Influence that Roode will eventually trick them. He then tells Roode that he's going to walk to the corner, take his shirt off, drink his beer, then punch him in the mouth. Storm stays true to his word as Roode badmouths him until Storm - predictably - punches Roode in the mouth. This starts a brawl, which then becomes an impromptu tag match in street clothes.

Bobby Roode and Kazarian beat "The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunner after Roode sneaks in a low blow on Storm behind the ref's back and rolls Storm up.

Austin Aries is on the fence as to whether he should join Bobby Roode's alliance or not.

Manik beats Sonjay Dutt.

Aces and Eights get ready for Main Event Mafia...

Austin Aries rejects Bobby Roode's offer by attacking Christopher Daniels during the Bound For Glory street fight.

Jay Bradley busts open Joseph Park, which costs him. Park beats Bradley, Hernandez and Christopher Daniels in a street fight for 20 Bound For Glory Series points.

The Main Event Mafia are still one man short...but it doesn't matter.

Bully Ray and Tito Ortiz show up, and Bully mocks the fans because he cheated them last week. He trash talks Chris Sabin, then Tito grabs the mike and says he's going to pound Rampage Jackson's head in. Bully then gets the mic back and calls out Brooke Hogan...but it's not Brooke Hogan we get. Instead, it's Brooke Tessmacher, and it's confirmed that she's Bully's newest girlfriend as well as the woman he's talked to on the phone all this time. Tessmacher then removes Bully's wedding ring with her mouth and spits it out. Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan are now officially done.

Gail Kim beats ODB.

Austin Aries gloats about how he stuck it to Bobby Roode earlier tonight.

Before the Aces and Eights (Mr. Anderson, Devon, Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff, Knux) vs Main Event Mafia (Sting, Magnus, Samoa Joe, Rampage Jackson) battle, Mr. Anderson mocks the Mafia, as Bully Ray and Brooke Tessmacher watch from the top of the entrance ramp. Anderson wants one member of the Mafia to lay down, but Sting refuses on behalf of the group. All of a sudden, AJ Styles shows up. Halfway between the entrance ramp and the ring, his old music plays and he takes off the hoodie, signalling a return to the old AJ Styles, and he sides with Main Event Mafia.

The Main Event Mafia (Sting, Magnus, Samoa Joe, Rampage Jackson, AJ Styles) beat Aces and Eights (Mr. Anderson, Devon, Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff, Knux). Devon is the one pinned, and as a result he is now out of TNA.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 4, 2013

Austin Aries enters the ring. After talking about how he outsmarted everybody last week, he says he has every intention on cashing in the X Division title to get a World title shot. He then calls out Hulk Hogan. Hogan shows up. Aries cashes the belt in after Hogan gives him credit where credit's due, but Hogan says that Option C will happen at the end of the night. Aries will have to defend against Suicide (now known as Manik) and Chris Sabin. Sabin tells Aries he's going to lose tonight.

Kazarian plans on beating AJ Styles tonight.

AJ Styles beats Kazarian by submission to win ten points for the Bound For Glory Series.

Mickie James is here. She wants a ladder.

Chavo Guerrero tells Hernandez the Bound For Glory Series is his.

Mickie James is in the ring with a ladder. She uses it as a metaphor for climbing her way to the top. She wishes both Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell luck before saying they'll never reach her level...or her title.

Al Snow, Bruce Prichard and Danny Davis talk about last week's Gut Check match. Ryan Howe goes on to the decision, while Adam Ohriner is eliminated.

The Main Event Mafia is here...

Hernandez beats Jay Bradley to win seven points for the Bound For Glory Series thanks to Chavo Guerrero.

Bully Ray is ticked with the situation involving the X Division title...then asks "What if nobody wins it tonight?" The rest of Aces and Eights love the idea.

"The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunner beat The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz).

Jeff Hardy thinks Joseph Park shows some promise.

The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle, Sting) come out. After saying they have plans to bring down Aces and Eights and bring the TNA title back to TNA, they bring in Samoa Joe, who intends on winning the Bound For Glory Series and the World title. They then bring out their fourth member: Magnus. Sting challenges Aces and Eights to a match in Louisville, Kentucky for Destination X, then announces they have a solution to the X Division title match problem if Aces and Eights stick their nose in it.

Two weeks from now: Destination X is on Spike TV!

Jeff Hardy beats Joseph Park by disqualification when the latter bleeds...and Black Hole Slams the referee in a fit of rage! Hardy wins three points, while Joseph Park loses ten.

Ryan Howe does not get the TNA contract.

Aces and Eights head to the ring to watch the X Division title match from ringside. Bully Ray chides Mr. Anderson and DOC over who should be VP, saying that if they fought as much as they argued, they'd get something done.

During the X Division title match between Manik, Chris Sabin and Austin Aries, Aces and Eights attack Manik before surrounding Aries! But The Main Event Mafia show up...

Manik is placed on a stretcher and carried out of the match.

Chris Sabin beats Austin Aries to reclaim the X Division Championship. Bully Ray spouts out his disapproval as Sabin shakes hands with the Main Event Mafia, then Sabin tells Bully Ray he is looking at the future World champion!

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 20, 2013

Hulk Hogan comes out. The ten qualifying participants of the Bound For Glory Series are in the ring. Hogan brings out the last two BFG Series winners, who get a bye into the tournament: Jeff Hardy and Bobby Roode. As part of the BFG Series kick-off on Open Fight Night, the winner of last week's poll gets to make a call-out. That winner is Hardy. Before Hardy can make a choice, Austin Aries and Christopher Daniels tell Hardy not to call them out. Hardy goes by the predictable choice: Bobby Roode, who made it personal last week. Roode pushes Hardy, then Hardy pushes back, starting a huge brawl between all twelve men.

Mr. Anderson comes out and calls Joseph Park out.

Mr. Anderson beats Joseph Park with the help of D.O.C., earning seven points.

Mr. Anderson and D.O.C. argue over who should be the next Vice President. Bully Ray stops the argument, as the club has important business involving Bully's wife Brooke Hogan. Bully makes it clear they have no time for this.

Jay Bradley calls out Austin Aries.

Austin Aries beats Jay Bradley, winning seven points.

Sting has plans right now to form his Main Event Mafia...

After the break, Sting gets one person to join the Main Event Mafia.

Chavo Guerrero hypes up Hernandez for his match.

Hernandez calls out Christopher Daniels.

Christopher Daniels beats Hernandez with a sneaky low blow that the referee does not see, earning seven points.

Kazarian calls out Magnus.

Magnus beats Kazarian by submission, earning 10 points.

Hulk Hogan catches Bully Ray sneaking up on him, and wants to end the tense situation between them once and for all. Bully Ray doesn't want Hulk...instead, he wants his daughter, Brooke Hogan. He then asks Hogan to figure out why Brooke stopped him last week.

Brooke Hogan comes to the ring for the State of the Knockouts address. All the Knockouts come out, and Mickie James has her own individual entrance where she takes potshots at Velvet Sky. Eric Young and ODB relinquish the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships, then kiss and run off. Velvet Sky gets her rematch...as does Gail Kim, who gets a Ladder Match against Taryn Terrell.

Hulk Hogan asks Brooke Hogan to leave the arena, so further unwanted drama does not happen.

AJ Styles gets on the mic and says that he's in the Bound For Glory Series for the World title only, and that TNA is no place for heroes. He's tired of doing the right thing...and instead, he's doing his own thing.

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe fight to a time limit draw, and both earn two points each. The ref has to separate both men when AJ gets another shot in afterward.

Bully Ray tells Brooke Hogan to return to the arena, as he really wants to talk to her tonight. She says that she will, and Bully tells Aces and Eights to ensure that she meets up with him.

Hulk Hogan tells Chris Sabin, Kenny King and Suicide to make their X Division title match next week a good one.

Jeff Hardy beats Bobby Roode to earn seven points.

Bully Ray and Sting head to the ring...

Bully Ray comes out. Fifteen guys are going after his World title, but he's confident that he will overcome. He then calls out Brooke Hogan so he can talk to her. Sting comes out instead, and to the Main Event Mafia theme. Sting cares about family (unlike Bully Ray), then takes off his suit and button-down shirt as Bully Ray threatens to call out Aces and Eights to sic them on him. After Sting throws his jacket at Bully, he points to the TitanTron. Aces and Eights are laid out, and Sting chases Bully Ray up the entrance ramp after getting a shot in on him. The first member of the new Main Event Mafia shows up...and it's Kurt Angle, who puts Bully in an Ankle Lock Submission as Sting tells Bully "I told you so."

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 9, 2013

Sting and Kurt Angle enter the ring. Sting tells us about the six-man tag match he set up last week, and Kurt Angle calls out AJ Styles, who he says could help them win the war. Kurt asks AJ which side he's on, and Sting intervenes to tell Aj to do the right thing as TNA is "the house that AJ built." AJ walks away yet again, and Kurt goes after him. This only causes both men to brawl, and gives Devon, Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson the necessary distraction to attack a sidetracked Sting.

AJ Styles leaves the arena.

Velvet Sky and Mickie James beat Tara and Gail Kim. Kim locks the turnbuckle figure four she used on Taryn Terrell last week onto Tara for failing her.

Aces and Eights head to the ring for some club business...and Bully Ray makes D'Lo Brown feel dejected.

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) try to get "The Cowboy" James Storm on their good side with beer prior to their match tonight. Yeah, like that alone will work.

Aces and Eights enter the ring. They know AJ Styles won't go up against them with Sting and Kurt Angle in the six-man tag match tonight. He then puts D'Lo in the spotlight, and tells him to turn in his jacket for saying "I quit" to Kurt Angle last week. The "cut" has to be forced off of him, and Bully Ray tells him that D.O.C. had better beat Magnus for his sake if he wants his "cut" back.

Despite D'Lo Brown's interference attempts, Magnus beats D.O.C.

Aces and Eights almost beat D'Lo Brown's head in with a hammer, but Mr. Anderson has an idea: bust him down to prospect status.

Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan got a wild card call earlier. Will this man help Sting and Kurt Angle out, even if Magnus is their guy for the match?

Bobby Roode and Austin Aries also try to get on James Storm's good graces with beer. They fail miserably.

Austin Aries tries to goad James Storm into helping him win. After accidentally hitting Christopher Daniels with the Last Call Superkick, he pretends to count to three for Aries only to hit him with said superkick. Bobby Roode and Kazarian are speechless as Storm walks away. Neither team is #1 Contender for the tag team titles.

Aces and Eights destroy Magnus, scratching him out of the six-man tag match tonight.

Suicide is coming back!

Kenny King enters the ring to new entrance music, and brags about how good he is as and how he beats the odds. He then introduces another odds-beater, Chris Sabin, to the ring. He lets Sabin tell his story, then lets Sabin hold his belt because it'll be the closest Sabin will ever get to winning the X Division title from Kenny King. King then asks for his belt back, and he gets it all right...with a fist to the face!

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian), Bobby Roode and Austin Aries beat up James Storm backstage.

Next week: a four-man Gut Check winner tournament where one of four former Gut Check winners will fight for a spot in the 2013 Bound For Glory series!

Bully Ray makes it clear that nobody says "I Quit" in Aces and Eights before the six-man tag match. D'Lo Brown did, and he's at the bottom of the ladder. Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan gets his mystery caller again. It's now or never...

During the six-man tag match, the rest of Aces and Eights is laid out backstage.

Abyss is back! He shows up and helps Sting and Kurt Angle beat Aces and Eights (Devon, Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson) in a six-man tag match!
