Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for August 1, 2013

Security cannot let Tazz in as per Hulk Hogan. Tazz is pissed.

#August1Warning, who has appeared on TNA's YouTube channel throughout the week, is coming to Impact tonight!

Austin Aries shows up. He congratulates Chris Sabin for winning the World title, then warns him he is now the hunted. Also, he takes on AJ Styles tonight, and he says this match is a dream match everyone has been waiting for. Bobby Roode shows up, and wants the TNA title again. He plans on returning back to the aggressiveness that got him to it last year. Aries hopes to beat Roode again.

Bobby Roode steals seven points from Hernandez in the Bound For Glory Series with a beer bottle as the ref removes chairs thrown by an angry Roode.

Main Event Mafia are here...

ODB is happy to be in a match again. Meanwhile, Joseph Park, who is thinking of learning some new moves, gets with Eric Young, who reminds him of his blackouts and gives him something to use in the ring...

Chris Sabin talks to TJ Perkins aka Manik. They both have respect for each other, and it shows.

A Hummer limo appears...

Eric Young gives Joseph Park a protective padding helmet before the latter faces Jay Bradley.

Joseph Park beats Jay Bradley to earn seven points for the Bound For Glory Series despite Jay Bradley removing his protective helmet.

The Main Event Mafia plan on bringing the fight to Aces and Eights!

Chris Sabin beats Manik...only to be attacked by Bully Ray! Bully also attacks Manik, but Sabin soon cleans house and forces Bully to flee!

Tazz bitches about being forced to stay out of the arena by Hulk Hogan, then opens the limo and mocks #August1Warning. Inside the limo is a laptop showing the #August1Warning video from the opening of tonight's show.

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) are ticked that TNA is basically against them.

Gail Kim and ODB fight to a double count-out, but they still go at it.

AJ Styles calls the "dream match" stuff hogwash and plans to beat Austin Aries tonight.

Bully Ray tells Mr. Anderson to take out Main Event Mafia, then meets Brooke Hogan, who tells him that his contract signing for his match at Hardcore Justice in two weeks has some stuff that isn't in his favor...

Austin Aries barely beats AJ Styles to earn seven points in the Bound For Glory Series.

The Main Event Mafia show sup. They call out Aces and Eights for "an offer they can't refuse." They show up, but Mr. Anderson doesn't seem to take any of this seriously. The Mafia challenges them to a five-on-five match, and whoever gets pinned has to leave TNA for good! It then gets physical, and Mr. Anderson accepts the challenge for the lights to go dark. When they come back on, #August1Warning is finally revealed...it's none other than MMA fighter Tito Ortiz!

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 4, 2013

Austin Aries enters the ring. After talking about how he outsmarted everybody last week, he says he has every intention on cashing in the X Division title to get a World title shot. He then calls out Hulk Hogan. Hogan shows up. Aries cashes the belt in after Hogan gives him credit where credit's due, but Hogan says that Option C will happen at the end of the night. Aries will have to defend against Suicide (now known as Manik) and Chris Sabin. Sabin tells Aries he's going to lose tonight.

Kazarian plans on beating AJ Styles tonight.

Kazarian and Christopher Daniels dress up as Siegfried and Roy before the former's match against AJ Styles for Throwback Thursday.

AJ Styles beats Kazarian by submission to win ten points for the Bound For Glory Series.

Mickie James is here. She wants a ladder.

Chavo Guerrero tells Hernandez the Bound For Glory Series is his.

Mickie James is in the ring with a ladder. She uses it as a metaphor for climbing her way to the top. She wishes both Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell luck before saying they'll never reach her level...or her title.

Al Snow, Bruce Prichard and Danny Davis talk about last week's Gut Check match. Ryan Howe goes on to the decision, while Adam Ohriner is eliminated.

The Main Event Mafia is here...

Hernandez beats Jay Bradley to win seven points for the Bound For Glory Series thanks to Chavo Guerrero.

Bully Ray is ticked with the situation involving the X Division title...then asks "What if nobody wins it tonight?" The rest of Aces and Eights love the idea.

"The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunner beat The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz).

Jeff Hardy thinks Joseph Park shows some promise.

The Main Event Mafia (Kurt Angle, Sting) come out. After saying they have plans to bring down Aces and Eights and bring the TNA title back to TNA, they bring in Samoa Joe, who intends on winning the Bound For Glory Series and the World title. They then bring out their fourth member: Magnus. Sting challenges Aces and Eights to a match in Louisville, Kentucky for Destination X, then announces they have a solution to the X Division title match problem if Aces and Eights stick their nose in it.

Two weeks from now: Destination X is on Spike TV!

Jeff Hardy beats Joseph Park by disqualification when the latter bleeds...and Black Hole Slams the referee in a fit of rage! Hardy wins three points, while Joseph Park loses ten.

Ryan Howe does not get the TNA contract.

Aces and Eights head to the ring to watch the X Division title match from ringside. Bully Ray chides Mr. Anderson and DOC over who should be VP, saying that if they fought as much as they argued, they'd get something done.

During the X Division title match between Manik, Chris Sabin and Austin Aries, Aces and Eights attack Manik before surrounding Aries! But The Main Event Mafia show up...

Manik is placed on a stretcher and carried out of the match.

Chris Sabin beats Austin Aries to reclaim the X Division Championship. Bully Ray spouts out his disapproval as Sabin shakes hands with the Main Event Mafia, then Sabin tells Bully Ray he is looking at the future World champion!

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 20, 2013

Hulk Hogan comes out. The ten qualifying participants of the Bound For Glory Series are in the ring. Hogan brings out the last two BFG Series winners, who get a bye into the tournament: Jeff Hardy and Bobby Roode. As part of the BFG Series kick-off on Open Fight Night, the winner of last week's poll gets to make a call-out. That winner is Hardy. Before Hardy can make a choice, Austin Aries and Christopher Daniels tell Hardy not to call them out. Hardy goes by the predictable choice: Bobby Roode, who made it personal last week. Roode pushes Hardy, then Hardy pushes back, starting a huge brawl between all twelve men.

Mr. Anderson comes out and calls Joseph Park out.

Mr. Anderson beats Joseph Park with the help of D.O.C., earning seven points.

Mr. Anderson and D.O.C. argue over who should be the next Vice President. Bully Ray stops the argument, as the club has important business involving Bully's wife Brooke Hogan. Bully makes it clear they have no time for this.

Jay Bradley calls out Austin Aries.

Austin Aries beats Jay Bradley, winning seven points.

Sting has plans right now to form his Main Event Mafia...

After the break, Sting gets one person to join the Main Event Mafia.

Chavo Guerrero hypes up Hernandez for his match.

Hernandez calls out Christopher Daniels.

Christopher Daniels beats Hernandez with a sneaky low blow that the referee does not see, earning seven points.

Kazarian calls out Magnus.

Magnus beats Kazarian by submission, earning 10 points.

Hulk Hogan catches Bully Ray sneaking up on him, and wants to end the tense situation between them once and for all. Bully Ray doesn't want Hulk...instead, he wants his daughter, Brooke Hogan. He then asks Hogan to figure out why Brooke stopped him last week.

Brooke Hogan comes to the ring for the State of the Knockouts address. All the Knockouts come out, and Mickie James has her own individual entrance where she takes potshots at Velvet Sky. Eric Young and ODB relinquish the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships, then kiss and run off. Velvet Sky gets her rematch...as does Gail Kim, who gets a Ladder Match against Taryn Terrell.

Hulk Hogan asks Brooke Hogan to leave the arena, so further unwanted drama does not happen.

AJ Styles gets on the mic and says that he's in the Bound For Glory Series for the World title only, and that TNA is no place for heroes. He's tired of doing the right thing...and instead, he's doing his own thing.

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe fight to a time limit draw, and both earn two points each. The ref has to separate both men when AJ gets another shot in afterward.

Bully Ray tells Brooke Hogan to return to the arena, as he really wants to talk to her tonight. She says that she will, and Bully tells Aces and Eights to ensure that she meets up with him.

Hulk Hogan tells Chris Sabin, Kenny King and Suicide to make their X Division title match next week a good one.

Jeff Hardy beats Bobby Roode to earn seven points.

Bully Ray and Sting head to the ring...

Bully Ray comes out. Fifteen guys are going after his World title, but he's confident that he will overcome. He then calls out Brooke Hogan so he can talk to her. Sting comes out instead, and to the Main Event Mafia theme. Sting cares about family (unlike Bully Ray), then takes off his suit and button-down shirt as Bully Ray threatens to call out Aces and Eights to sic them on him. After Sting throws his jacket at Bully, he points to the TitanTron. Aces and Eights are laid out, and Sting chases Bully Ray up the entrance ramp after getting a shot in on him. The first member of the new Main Event Mafia shows up...and it's Kurt Angle, who puts Bully in an Ankle Lock Submission as Sting tells Bully "I told you so."

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 16, 2013

The show starts with Hulk Hogan. He tells AJ Styles to join Aces and Eights, because "Who cares?" Kurt Angle will take on AJ at Slammiversary. Also, the contract signing for Bully Ray and Sting's World title match will also take place tonight. He then calls Abyss out to thank him for last week, but Joseph Park comes out instead and is amazed his brother Chris (y'know, Abyss) showed up while he was recuperating at home. Hulk asks Joseph where Abyss is when Devon and D'Lo Brown show up. They want Abyss as they believe Abyss helped Sting and Kurt Angle cheat. A pissed Park challenges Devon to a match, but Devon wants Park to prove himself. D'Lo wants Park. Hogan makes it so, and if Park wins he can challenge Devon anytime he wants.

James Storm has plans for Bobby Roode, Austin Aries and Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian)...

Bobby Roode beats Chavo Guerrero by disqualification after "The Cowboy" James Storm spits beer in Roode's face. Roode slowly backs out of the ring as "The Cowboy" eyes him.

Kurt Angle enters the ring. For a year, nobody seems to be trustworthy due to Aces and Eights. He's happy to take on AJ Styles at Slammiversary, but he calls out AJ so he can beat him up now. Mr. Anderson of Aces and Eights shows up and tells him - and everyone - that AJ Styles will be "patched in" next week, meaning that Styles is joining Aces and Eights. When Anderson dares Angle to show up so the club can destroy him, Angle beats up Anderson only to meet up with AJ, who proceeds to kick Angle in the head with a single-leg drop kick.

We meet TNA Gut Check winner Jay Bradley. He's ready to step his game up.

Jay Bradley beats Christian York to advance in the Gut Check Bound For Glory tournament.

Brooke Hogan and Mickie James talk. Brooke wants Mickie to have another match with Velvet Sky next week for the Knockouts title. Bully Ray shows up and harasses Brooke again.

Velvet Sky beats Gail Kim with a hurt knee and a roll-up. Gail Kim locks the ringpost Figure Four leglock on Velvet until ODB breaks it up.

Keny King retains the TNA X Division Championship against Petey Williams and Chris Sabin.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian weigh their options after knowing what James Storm did earlier tonight.

D'Lo Brown tells Mr. Anderson he knows he messed up two weeks ago. Can D'Lo get back on the ball.

Hernandez beats Christopher Daniels after James Storm distracts Daniels. He then makes an announcement as per Hulk Hogan: at Slammiversary, it will be Bad Influence (Daniels and Kazarian), the team of Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, the team of Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez...and Storm and a partner of his choice for the tag team titles! It's a four-team tag team match for the tag titles at Slammiversary!

Joseph Park beats D'Lo Brown when D'Lo Brown bloodies Park up, making him angry...causing D'Lo to eat a Black Hole Slam!

The contract signing between Sting and Bully Ray for their match at Slammiversary occurs. Bully Ray calls out Sting, then calls out Hulk Hogan. Sting tells Bully Ray to make him bleed before he does the same to Bully Ray, and asks for a no-holds-barred match. Bully accepts, but only if he signs the contract, which states that if Sting loses, he can never compete for the World title again. Hulk Hogan tells him not to do it, but Sting accepts. Sting and Bully then beat each other up.

Saving the best for last: Suicide returns next week!

Here is the updated card for Slammiversary XI!
