Karen Jarrett shows up to start the show. She is embarrassed and ashamed to talk about Maria Kanellis-Bennett leaving the company, saying that her spot being open has caused some extremely ugly and unprofessional behavior in the Knockouts locker room to the point that bullying is taking place. Karen calls out Sienna, who shows up. Karen says she has not heard one positive word about her anywhere, and says her behavior, actions and words will not be tolerated. Sienna says that Allie is to blame for her being called out, but Karen tells her to step back. Sienna says she got here on her own talent, not through who she married. Karen tells Sienna she doesn't have a clue who she got here, and admits she has done some things in Impact that she regrets, and gives Sienna the chance she never had: 15 seconds to apologize to her face. She says that the Knockouts Division should accept their inevitable decay...then ODB shows up and introduces herself to Rosemary, saying Rosemary wouldn't be standing in the ring if it wasn't for her. She toasts Rosemary for being the champion, but says she will take the title and toast herself. Rosemary leaves the ring saying ODB feels worthy, but "The Hive" disagrees. She is obviously not interested in the match, and the Knockout Division shows up to force her back in the ring. Madison Rayne wants a shot at the Knockouts title, while Brandi Rhodes wants a piece of Rosemary. Diamante, on the other hand, wants to fight, and all the Knockouts have an impromptu fight.

Ethan Carter III shows up. He apologizes for the end of last week's show, saying that Impact has changed and that he must change with it by reasserting his past dominance. He says he must become "the real EC3." He says he will win the World title for a third time and join an elite squad of multiple-time world champs, then "Cowboy" James Storm shows up, asking why he wasn't mentioned. EC3 says Storm won the world title once. Storm tells EC3 that he built Impact while EC3 was in high school and college, then says both of them want to be World champ. Storm then says they both want the World title, and EC3 says the fans should decide who gets the title shot against Lashley. Both men agree on this.

After the match, Allie fights Sienna, Sutter gets back in the ring to fight KM, and an impromptu tag team brawl takes place until a drunk Laurel Van Ness shows up and screams at Allie and Sutter from the entrance ramp.

He then introduces the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Lashley, whom he calls "walking armageddon." Lashley says he has done what he said he would do, and has walked through numerous opponents and represented the current president of the United States, too. He was here eight years ago, when AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Kurt Angle, Sting and a litany of popular names were here. As time passed, all of them - and Dutch - left due to a lack of leadership, vision and respect. He says the fans, however, have never left. Dutch then says he's back and he's here to listen to the fans, as the fans are the ones that make Impact great.

She could not be more proud of his performance last week...until Lashley happened. Brandi tells Lashley that Cody is a fighter and that he will find out what kind of man Cody is when he comes back. Before she can speak on her own future, Maria Kanellis-Bennett shows up with Sienna. Maria tells Brandi that if she has no one, she's nothing, and gives her a choice between going home and taking care of Cody or swimming alone against the sharks. Brandi takes her words as a threat, but Maria says she gives people opportunities...and also breaks them like she did Allie. She then gives Brandi an opportunity to join her "Lady Squad" so she can bring out Brandi's true potential so she isn't living off the coattails of Cody Rhodes. Brandi says she is her own woman, she upholds the Rhodes legacy, and that she doesn't need Maria's help for anything. Sienna gets in Brandi's face, and Brandi beats her up before confronting Maria. This allows Sienna to attack Brandi from behind before laying her out.

We take a brief look at the life of Eddie Edwards.

Aron Rex retains the TNA Impact Grand Championship against Jessie Godderz after blinding Jesse Godderz in both eyes and knocking him out. After the match, Aron Rex tells everyone to give it up Jesse Godderz in a hard-fought loss.

Team Go For Broke (DJ Z, Mandrews, Braxton beat the team of Rockstar Spud and Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) and the team of Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett and Marshe Rockett in a Team X Gold match after Decay are ejected from the match for not listening to the referee's instructions, leaving Spud high and dry.

We take a look back at Eddie Edwards' heel injury and Davey Richards' ACL injury, which led to Eddie transitioning to a tag team champion to a singles champion.

The Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) show up. They address The DCC's challenge for the tag team titles from last week, and Matt Hardy calls them out. The arena goes pitch plack, and when the arena turns blue, The DCC are here. The Hardys fight them, but they are easily overpowered. After the beatdown on the Hardys, The DCC are about to leave when Brother Nero tells them to get back in the ring and fight. A referee shows up, and this officially becomes a match for the tag team titles.

The Broken Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy and Brother Nero) vs. The DCC is thrown out when the fight goes backstage. The third DCC member pushes referee Earl Hebner to the mat and puts his foot on him, then slowly makes his way backstage where the other two members are brawling with the Hardys. The backstage brawl sees Brother Nero take a selfie with Grado when he and the DCC interrupt Mackenzie Mitchell's interview with Grado, and Brother Nero turning into Immortal-era Jeff Hardy with help from a bucket containing water from the Lake of Reincarnation, the brawl ends with Matt Hardy being kicked off a forklift (after unmasking a DCC member only to find out he's wearing another mask) and suffering from amnesia from hitting the back of his head when Brother Nero checks on him.

Ethan Carter III says he's going to the ring and calling out Eli Drake.

That someone is Eli Drake, and he calls him out. Eli Drake shows up, and they refer back to their meeting last week. EC3 says he may have been given a name and an opportunity, but he has done nothing but earn everything else from there, and has worked his way up to the top of TNA. He tells Eli Drake he has a golden ticket to the World title, but he's too scared to use it. Eli Drake says he doesn't need what EC3 has earned, as he can just bypass him, but EC3 calls him a coward and gives him a chance to prove he deserves it by putting his Bound For Gold title shot on the line against him. Eli Drake says he would have to be a dummy to take that chance, but EC3 adds another caveat: if Eli Drake wins, Ethan Carter III will never challenge for the World title again, and Eli Drake can bypass him with just one match. Eli Drake then says he's cashing in his Bound For Gold title shotnext week, declining the challenge.

Jeremy Borash interviews Lashley backstage. Lashley says he attacked Cody Rhodes last week because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that Cody will never come back. Lashley says that Eddie Edwards has failed to get in his head, and that tonight's match will be a slaughter as he destroys Eddie Edwards' dreams.

We take a brief look at Eddie Edwards' recent solo success amidst the sudden passing of his mentor.

Eddie Edwards retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Lashley in "The Superfight" after Brian Hebner is knocked down and a replacement referee is attacked by Lashley after Eddie Edwards kicks out of a pinfall attempt. Lashley tells Eddie that if he will not run and hide, then he will punish him. He demands his World title rematch and calls for a referee, and is about to smash a steel chair into Eddie when Ethan Carter III and Moose rush in to make the save. Lashley heads back to the back.

They won the tag team titles, and Brother Nero repaid his debt to him. He now says his broken brilliance and Brother Nero's personalities have established that they are the greatest tag team of all space and time, beyond "The Bucks of Youth" and "The Day of the New." They celebrate the deletion of the tag team title reign of Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss), then Matt has a premontion: the next challengers to their tag titles will be determined tonight. They then celebrate with a "delete, obsolete" chant before The Tribunal (Basile Baraka and Baron Dax) run in through the crowd and attack The Broken Hardys, with Baraka kicking Brother Nero in the nuts.

We hear from both "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Cody Rhodes concerning Bound For Glory.

Josh Mathews interviews "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Moose, and it becomes clear that these two don't like each other. Bennett says that once he beats Moose at Bound For Glory, nobody will be cheering for him ever again. Moose, on the other hand, plans to give him a one-way ticket to hell. Both men stand up. Bennett says he can't be beaten, but Moose tells Bennett they will be cheering for him when the night is over.

Laurel Van Ness beats Madison Rayne. Allie announces Laurel as the winner as per Laurel, but messes her name up, forcing Laurel to correct her.

Lashley talks with his team, and tells them that if one of them can take control of the match and take out EC3, that person earns a title shot against Lashey himself.

Drew Galloway is in the ring. He calls the Impact Grand Championship tournament the real main event of Bound For Glory. Aron Rex shows up, and Galloway tells them they are both part of history. Galloway talks about how he was the savior of TNA, and mockingly thanks the fans. Aron Rex tells Galloway to get another tagline, and that he's not the only reason TNA is the best wrestling show on television. Galloway mentions his accomplishments up until this point, and says he will make the Grand Championship look good. Aron Rex says that at Bound For Glory, it won't go to the judges as he will be judge, jury and executioner. Galloway tells Aron there can be only one as both men grab the Grand Championship...and it's him. Both men brawl, and security try to stop a brawl only for Aron Rex to fall victim to a piledriver.

Decay (Rosemary, Abyss, Crazzy Steve) say that The Hardys ("Broken" Matt Hardy, Brother Nero, Reby Hardy) will learn there are consequences for taking things from them, and that those consequences will be realized at Bound For Glory.

As everyone in the Hardy compound sings Obsolete, Matt Hardy has a premonition of another match.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis-Bennett show up to start tonight's show. Mike Bennett says he will become TNA World Heavyweight Champion and complete his mission of saving TNA because he is the best pro wrestler on the planet. He calls out Moose to take care of business from last week, but instead he gets Lashley. Lashley tells Bennett that Moose wants nothing to do with him, and he knows he will beat Bennett like everyone else he has recently beaten. Bennett thinks otherwise, and Lashley decides to make the match a no-disqualification match, while joking that Bennett no longer has Moose with him. Bennett thinks Lashley is jealous of Moose because Moose is better than him, but says Moose isn't around because he smartened him up or because Moose hates Bennett's guts. Bennett says he'll become World champ, but Lashley says there's not a chance of that. Moose shows up and finds it funny that everyone is talking about him and chanting his name, and that ever since he came to TNA, he let his actions do the talking and laid people on their asses. Bennett thinks that Moose is on his side again as he speaks, but Moose tells him otherwise and says tonight, he decides who walks out World Heavyweight Champion.

"Broken" Matt Hardy beats Crazzy Steve. After the match, Crazzy Steve laughs, and says that "Maxel is Rosemary's baby," implying that Rosemary is in the house and is looking for Maxel.

Drew Galloway says he is heading to the ring to explain what's been going on since last week...

Drew Galloway shows up. He says you don't know what you have until it's gone, broken or snapped. He says that everyone believed in him when he came to TNA and won the World Heavyweight Championship, but after last week, he blames the fans, Ethan Carter III and Aron Rex for his recent downfall. Billy Corgan shows up, and Drew Galloway calls him "Dixie Carter's little bitch." Corgan says he considered suspending him, but a little birdy - in the form of Aron Rex - convinced him not to so he can handle Galloway personally. Drew and Rex brawl until the TNA locker room has to rush in to stop it.

As Matt Hardy asks Reby Sky to take Maxel and protect him, he finds out through Vanguard-1 that Rosemary is in his family's house.

Sienna leaves, and then Maria turns on Allie, saying nobody wants to cheer for her and that the celebration is for her opponent before forcing her to lay down on the mat if she wants to keep her job. She does, and Maria pins Allie to the shoulder for the three count now that a ref is the ring. Maria then makes Allie put the title around her waist and declare her the new Knockouts Champion.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett tries to talk with Moose backstage, and hands him a steel pipe, telling Moose that he will hopefully "do the right thing for us."

"The Cowboy" James Storm comes to the ring. He asks referee Brian Hebner to come to the ring, and Brian Hebner does. He wants to know what happened that caused him to lose. We get video footage of the very beginning of the match from when Jeremy Borash left the ring. He says that he should be World champion, and the crowd chants "You screwed Storm!" before he demands a rematch against Lashley for the World title. Billy Corgan shows up, and says the ref's decision is final and that games are won and lost in the fourth quarter and not the first, but Storm says this is pro wrestling and not football, and demands his rematch. Billy Corgan says "maybe it's not your damn luck, and you just can't win the big one." Storm takes a toolbox from underneath the ring, empties it, takes a hammer, and says he built TNA and that he can tear it down too as he smacks the top rope with the hammer. Security moves into place, and Storm says this is proof that "rock stars need security." He tells Billy he views him as nothing but a rock star, and tells him that unlike AJ Styles, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, he stayed in TNA because he believed in the company. He then calls Corgan a "stupid son-of-a-bitch." A member of security tries to subdue Storm, but Storm hits him with the hammer. He then tells Billy he's beaten up a lot of people, but he's never beaten up a rock star, and if their paths cross again, he's going to cross a wish off of his bucket list because he's going to "smash [Billy's] pumpkin." Storm leaves the ring and heads to the back, and Billy tells Storm that he is suspended from TNA indefinitely.

Backstage, "The Miracle" Mike Bennett tells Moose that he will change a lot of stuff for him. Moose says he loves to beat people up, and Bennett tells him to do what he says, when he says it, so he can blaze his trail to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

"The Cowboy" James Storm is seen being escorted out of the arena.

Ethan Carter III is in the ring, and calls out Drew Galloway so he can give him an answer to his challenger from last week. Galloway shows up. EC3 says his answer will surprise Galloway, but Galloway thinks that EC3 will answer no because he's screwed him out of the World title three times and won't make it right. EC3 tells him his challenge is accepted. Suddenly, his challenge is accepted. Suddenly, Aron Rex enters the ring. He tells Galloway and EC3 that the entire universe has been watching Impact Wrestling because the two of them have been making waves with the kind of wrestling he and the people grew up with. When he eyes the Knockouts title, Sienna tells him "Don't get cute."

Broken Matt Hardy talks to his now-broken brother Jeff Hardy - now Brother Nero. He deems ladders and high-flying obsolete, and that they should be deleted tonight.

Before the next match, Eli Drake says he's a little hot due to "The Cowboy" James Storm losing the King of the Mountain title to Lashley. He then talks about his backstage encounter with Lashley, and says Lashley doesn't want to face him. Suddenly, Mahabali Shera shows up, calls Eli Drake a dummy and tells him to shut up. This starts their match.

Eli Drake beats Mahabali Shera.

Dixie Carter and Billy Corgan meet up with Lashley, who is very tight-lipped concerning his announcement tonight.

He tells everyone that this is a big moment for professional wrestling, He then calls out Dixie Carter and Billy Corgan, who show up. He tells Billy and Dixie that he holds all the power, and that he's a businessman and not just a dumb wrestler. He then tells them that he is uniting all three singles titles and declaring himself the true, undisputed World champion. Billy and Dixie say that they call the shots and that he can't do that. Lashley then says the King of the Mountain title means nothing and that he tore through the X Division division, therefore minimalizing the X Division title as well. Dixie and Billy are not happy with what Lashley is doing, and tell him that he cannot dictate the whens and the whys. He then tells them he'll see them at Bound For Glory, since they want to ruin his history making announcement. Dixie and Billy tell him that he will defend the World title before Bound For Glory, and that next week there will be an open invitation battle royal. Whoever wins it will take on Lashley for the World title.

He says that nobody can beat him, and says that is the last time we'll see him and Bram due to TNA not sucking up to him, and that he's taking the TNA King of the Mountain CHampionship with him. Bram has other ideas and doesn't follow Eric Young out of the ring when he tells him to come with him, as he is "sick and tired of being Eric Young's lackey." Young calls him a loser, but Bram stops him and says the King of the Mountain title would look better on him, and says that Young "doesn't have the balls."
