Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 3, 2014

Kurt Angle shows up. Tomorrow is the celebration for America's freedom, but tonight's the night to celebrate TNA's! He calls out Earl Hebner and promptly reinstates him, then makes some matches: Ethan Carter III takes on Bully Ray in a Tables match. There will also be a Triple Threat match for the TNA Tag Team Championships: The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) vs. The Bro Mans (Jessie Godderz and DJ Z) vs. The Menagerie (Knux and The Freak). Angelina Love will defend the Knockouts title on Gail Kim, and Eric Young takes on Bobby Lashley in a rematch for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Before Angle leaves, Samoa Joe shows up and thinks Kurt Angle isn't going to be as truthful as a leader than MVP and that he covets the World title, as Kurt was bought and brought here while he fought his way into TNA. Angle considers the ring sacred and questions Joe's dedication, making Joe angry to the point that he says he is pro wrestling before telling Kurt Angle to be careful what he wishes for and leaving.

Kenny King attacks Bobby Roode when the latter confronts MVP backstage. MVP chokes Roode out with his crutches.

Bobby Roode, despite putting some ice on his shoulder, tells Kurt Angle he wants to fight MVP now that he's back. Kurt Angle and Bobby Roode hunt for MVP and Kenny King.

The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships against The Bro Mans (Jessie Godderz and DJ Z) and The Menagerie (Knux and The Freak).

Kurt Angle makes a Street Fight betwen Bobby Roode and Kenny King, since MVP is injured.

Bobby Roode beats Kenny King in a Street Fight.

Ethan Carter III feels he has Bully Ray's number tonight...

Bobby Roode hasn't always seen eye to eye with Kurt Angle, but feels Angle did the right thing by booking the Street Fight tonight.

Austin Aries asks Kurt Angle for his rematch against Sanada for the X Division title. Kurt Angle gives him the match, and says he and Aries should have the match that decides who's "the greatest wrestler alive."

Brittany is in the ring. She calls out Madison Rayne, who shows up. Madison wants to fight, but Brittany says that Madison was right about the Knockouts Division. Brittany wanted to be like Madison, but now knows Madison was trying to warn her. They hug and make up, then Brittany beats Madison Rayne up, saying she's learned not to meet her heroes as they'll always disappoint.

Bully Ray gives credit where credit's due to Ethan Carter III for his Slammiversary XII win, saying you've got to be tough to be lucky, and says EC3 was pretty tough...but says he was even luckier that night. Bully Ray plans to get his win back tonight.

MVP predicts Bobby Lashley (now officially known as Lashley) will be the most dominant TNA World champ ever.

As Bully Ray takes on Ethan Carter III (and has to deal with Rockstar Spud), the famous ECW wrestler Rhino shows up! He almost hits Rockstar Spud with the Gore, but turns around and Gores Bully Ray instead! Ethan Carter III then puts Bully Ray through the table to beat him in a Tables Match.

Eric Young tells Bobby Roode he's taking the TNA World title back tonight. Roode tells him he'll be in his corner tonight.

Rhino says he doesn't owe an explanation for his actions earlier, when he Gored Bully Ray.

Bound For Glory is October 12th in Tokyo, Japan!

We recap the history of Samuel Shaw's release.

No sooner do Gunner and Samuel Shaw return that they meet Mr. Anderson. Gunner implores Mr. Anderson to give Samuel a chance. Anderson reluctantly agrees, and the three of them meet Christy Hemme. Samuel apologizes, then Gunner and Samuel leave. Anderson and Christy don't know what to think.

The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) talk to Brian Stifler, the referee from the Knockouts title match at Slammiversary XII. They want him to call the match, and he says he's able to do that.

Kurt Angle takes Brian Stifler out of the Knockouts title match, and replaces him with Brian Hebner.

Knux tells The Freak, Rebel and Crazzy Steve that they need money...and fast.

Gail Kim beats Angelina Love to win the TNA Knockouts Championship!

Kurt Angle says that next week, all titles will be on the line except for the World title...which he has special plans for.

Bobby Lashley retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Eric Young.
