Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 7, 2014

Roman Reigns heads to the ring to start the show. Despite Triple H saying that Reigns being in the Fatal Four Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground is "best for business," he says that may be up to debate when he lays everybody out and takes the title. He responds to "Cena Sucks" chants by saying "When Roman Reigns is in the house, you're damn right Cena sucks." After proclaiming he'll become the new WWE World champ, Kane makes his entrance and stands at the top of the ramp. Regins calls Kane "Triple H's lap dog" and "Randy Orton's bitch." Kane walks down the ramp, and Roman and Kane go at it immediately. Numerous officials have to rush in to break it up, only for one of them to get choke slammed. More officials come out to break it up, but neither Kane nor Roman Reigns can be held back. After a Spear on an official and a Superman Punch to Kane, Kane retreats and Roman stands tall.

Tonight: Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is on Raw!

The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), despite the legal man of the Usos not being in the ring for the pinfall.

Randy Orton tells Kane he has his back, and hopes Kane will have his at Battleground. Kane agrees, and Seth Rollins loves this. Since Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are on vacation, Seth says it is important that all three men have each other's backs. He says that if Randy Orton or Kane win the WWE World title, he'll have to think twice before cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase. Randy Orton says he's beginning to hate Seth Rollins, but Kane says it's not as much as he hates Orton.

Alicia Fox attacks Nikki Bella in a match where both Divas have one arm tied before their backs...at least, Alicia was supposed to, but she went for the throat before the ref could tie her arm behind her back. The bell never rings, and the match never officially takes place.

Rusev beats Rob Van Dam with the Accolade.

Randy Orton beats Dean Ambrose.

Renee Young interviews John Cena. John Cena may have a lot on his plate, but he knows how to take care of business. Roman Reigns wishes him luck in his match, but Cena says he doesn't need it. Reigns says he'll need it at Battleground.

Fandango guests on commentary for the next match. He announces his entrance in the battle royal for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Championship at Battleground.

Alberto Del Rio beats Dolph Ziggler to become #1 contender for the WWE United States Championship after a distraction by Fandango, who dances on the commentary table.

Goldust and Stardust talk about...something.

Fandango runs into Layla backstage. She thinks Dolph made Fandango jealous after kissing Summer Rae last week, and is afraid he Fandango still cares for Summer. He insists that he only has eyes for her. As Layla hugs him, Fandango sees Summer Rae.

Jerry "The King" Lawler thanks the medical staff at the hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (this show is the first time there in about two years, and WWE's return to the city since Jerry Lawler's heart attack there last time) to a favorable crowd reaction before introducing Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. No matter what happened in the past (a reference to the Montreal Screwjob), it's great for him to be back in Montreal, and if he could lace up his boots one more time, he'd do it here. As he speaks, Damien Sandow shows up dressed as Bret Hart back in his heyday (under the name 'Bret "The Hitman" Sandhart") and starts to make fun of the Montreal Screwjob as well as Canada. When Sandow says talking wasn't Bret Hart's strong suit, Hart punches him as he says "No! Punching was." Sheamus fist bumps with Bret Hart when he enters the ring.

Sheamus beats Damien Sandow.

Renee Young interviews The Miz. He reads a letter from a fan, telling him to beat up Jericho and headline WrestleMania again.

Sheamus defends the WWE United States Championship against Alberto Del Rio tomorrow on Main Event on WWE Network! Also, Chris Jericho's hosts his Highlight Reel with Bret "The Hit Man" Hart!

Chris Jericho beats The Miz with the Walls of Jericho. After the match, Bray Wyatt appears to taunt Jericho, saying that actions speak louder than words. At one point Jericho tells Wyatt to "please just shut the hell up." He tells Wyatt he plans to find him and beat him up. As he walks up the ramp, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper rush in to demolish Jericho.

AJ Lee and Paige beat The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi). After the match, Cameron and Naomi go at it. The Funkadactyls are done!

Paul Heyman and Cesaro are in the ring. Cesaro proceeds to interrupt Paul Heyman and tell him "You can't even speak to them in English. They're French-Canadian, but they don't even speak French. They speak...Quebecois." Cesaro then makes fun of the crowd in French, saying the French can't stand them and neither can the rest of Canada.

Kofi Kingston beats Cesaro. Cesaro attacks Kofi after the match, but Big E makes the save.

John Cena meets Seth Rollins in the locker room, who taunts him and toys with the idea of cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase on a downed Cena. Cena tells him he's full of crap. He admits Seth Rollins is good, but tells him the only guarantee he has tonight is that he's in a difficult match with him.

Roman Reigns takes on Rusev this Friday night on SmackDown!

Bo Dallas beats El Torito. After the match, Bo Dallas runs El Torito down during his victory lap.

In the middle of John Cena vs. Seth Rollins, Kane shows up. He proves to be a distraction, as Randy Orton attacks Cena from behind and Kane joins in. Roman Reigns shows up. Kane goes after Reigns only to eat a Superman Punch, and Orton eats one too. Seth Rollins attacks Reigns and Cena with the Money In The Bank briefcase, then tries to cash it in only to be attacked by Dean Ambrose, who eventually chases Rollins back to the back. Orton goes after a downed Cena, but Cena puts Orton in the Attitude Adjustment. Kane gets in and tries to choke slam Cena only to be Speared by Roman Reigns. The show ends with Cena and Reigns staring each other down, raising each other's arms in victory.
