Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 7, 2014

Roman Reigns heads to the ring to start the show. Despite Triple H saying that Reigns being in the Fatal Four Way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground is "best for business," he says that may be up to debate when he lays everybody out and takes the title. He responds to "Cena Sucks" chants by saying "When Roman Reigns is in the house, you're damn right Cena sucks." After proclaiming he'll become the new WWE World champ, Kane makes his entrance and stands at the top of the ramp. Regins calls Kane "Triple H's lap dog" and "Randy Orton's bitch." Kane walks down the ramp, and Roman and Kane go at it immediately. Numerous officials have to rush in to break it up, only for one of them to get choke slammed. More officials come out to break it up, but neither Kane nor Roman Reigns can be held back. After a Spear on an official and a Superman Punch to Kane, Kane retreats and Roman stands tall.

Tonight: Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is on Raw!

The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), despite the legal man of the Usos not being in the ring for the pinfall.

Randy Orton tells Kane he has his back, and hopes Kane will have his at Battleground. Kane agrees, and Seth Rollins loves this. Since Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are on vacation, Seth says it is important that all three men have each other's backs. He says that if Randy Orton or Kane win the WWE World title, he'll have to think twice before cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase. Randy Orton says he's beginning to hate Seth Rollins, but Kane says it's not as much as he hates Orton.

Alicia Fox attacks Nikki Bella in a match where both Divas have one arm tied before their backs...at least, Alicia was supposed to, but she went for the throat before the ref could tie her arm behind her back. The bell never rings, and the match never officially takes place.

Rusev beats Rob Van Dam with the Accolade.

Randy Orton beats Dean Ambrose.

Renee Young interviews John Cena. John Cena may have a lot on his plate, but he knows how to take care of business. Roman Reigns wishes him luck in his match, but Cena says he doesn't need it. Reigns says he'll need it at Battleground.

Fandango guests on commentary for the next match. He announces his entrance in the battle royal for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Championship at Battleground.

Alberto Del Rio beats Dolph Ziggler to become #1 contender for the WWE United States Championship after a distraction by Fandango, who dances on the commentary table.

Goldust and Stardust talk about...something.

Fandango runs into Layla backstage. She thinks Dolph made Fandango jealous after kissing Summer Rae last week, and is afraid he Fandango still cares for Summer. He insists that he only has eyes for her. As Layla hugs him, Fandango sees Summer Rae.

Jerry "The King" Lawler thanks the medical staff at the hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (this show is the first time there in about two years, and WWE's return to the city since Jerry Lawler's heart attack there last time) to a favorable crowd reaction before introducing Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. No matter what happened in the past (a reference to the Montreal Screwjob), it's great for him to be back in Montreal, and if he could lace up his boots one more time, he'd do it here. As he speaks, Damien Sandow shows up dressed as Bret Hart back in his heyday (under the name 'Bret "The Hitman" Sandhart") and starts to make fun of the Montreal Screwjob as well as Canada. When Sandow says talking wasn't Bret Hart's strong suit, Hart punches him as he says "No! Punching was." Sheamus fist bumps with Bret Hart when he enters the ring.

Sheamus beats Damien Sandow.

Renee Young interviews The Miz. He reads a letter from a fan, telling him to beat up Jericho and headline WrestleMania again.

Sheamus defends the WWE United States Championship against Alberto Del Rio tomorrow on Main Event on WWE Network! Also, Chris Jericho's hosts his Highlight Reel with Bret "The Hit Man" Hart!

Chris Jericho beats The Miz with the Walls of Jericho. After the match, Bray Wyatt appears to taunt Jericho, saying that actions speak louder than words. At one point Jericho tells Wyatt to "please just shut the hell up." He tells Wyatt he plans to find him and beat him up. As he walks up the ramp, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper rush in to demolish Jericho.

AJ Lee and Paige beat The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi). After the match, Cameron and Naomi go at it. The Funkadactyls are done!

Paul Heyman and Cesaro are in the ring. Cesaro proceeds to interrupt Paul Heyman and tell him "You can't even speak to them in English. They're French-Canadian, but they don't even speak French. They speak...Quebecois." Cesaro then makes fun of the crowd in French, saying the French can't stand them and neither can the rest of Canada.

Kofi Kingston beats Cesaro. Cesaro attacks Kofi after the match, but Big E makes the save.

John Cena meets Seth Rollins in the locker room, who taunts him and toys with the idea of cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase on a downed Cena. Cena tells him he's full of crap. He admits Seth Rollins is good, but tells him the only guarantee he has tonight is that he's in a difficult match with him.

Roman Reigns takes on Rusev this Friday night on SmackDown!

Bo Dallas beats El Torito. After the match, Bo Dallas runs El Torito down during his victory lap.

In the middle of John Cena vs. Seth Rollins, Kane shows up. He proves to be a distraction, as Randy Orton attacks Cena from behind and Kane joins in. Roman Reigns shows up. Kane goes after Reigns only to eat a Superman Punch, and Orton eats one too. Seth Rollins attacks Reigns and Cena with the Money In The Bank briefcase, then tries to cash it in only to be attacked by Dean Ambrose, who eventually chases Rollins back to the back. Orton goes after a downed Cena, but Cena puts Orton in the Attitude Adjustment. Kane gets in and tries to choke slam Cena only to be Speared by Roman Reigns. The show ends with Cena and Reigns staring each other down, raising each other's arms in victory.

Tuesday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for July 1, 2014

Cesaro and Paul Heyman start the show. Cesaro is wearing an eye patch over his right eye. Heyman states that Cesaro's match with Dolph Ziggler (whom he calls a "perennial runner-up") cannot take place tonight as Kofi Kingston supposedly blinded Cesaro in one eye on Raw, leading Cesaro to snap and attack Kingston with a vengeance after the match. Though Cesaro cannot compete tonight according to Heyman, he will be in the battle royal for the vacant WWE Intercontinental Championship at Battleground. Immediately after this is announced, Dolph Ziggler shows up and tells Heyman that unlike Cesaro, he's won a briefcase at Money In The Bank and cashed in to become World champ. Ziggler then announces he's entering the battle royal. As Ziggler tells Cesaro to man up, Big E shows up and puts his hat in the running for it, too. So do Rybaxel (Ryback and Curtis Axel), who also show up as Big E speaks. Rob Van Dam shows up after this and, after making a joke about Ryback copying his singlets, throws his hat in the ring before everyone gets in a brawl. Ziggler, Big E and RVD are the only guys left in the ring after all the heels are cleared out in seconds.

The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) are coming...

A six-man tag match between Big E, Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam vs Cesaro and Rybaxel (Curtis Axel and Ryback) is announced for tonight.

Chris Jericho will be on SmackDown this Friday!

The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) beats R-Truth and Xavier Woods.

Stephanie McMahon tells Nikki Bella that her sister Brie Bella abandoned her (like she did on Raw) before giving her a tag team partner for her rematch against The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi): Alicia Fox.

The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox after Fox turns on Nikki.

Renee Young interviews Sheamus. Sheamus issued a 4th of July challenge for the United States title because this is America...and he plans to be its fighting champion. Alberto Del Rio shows up, and not only enters the battle royal for the Intercontinental title at Battleground, he plans to take the United States title this Friday on SmackDown.

Renee Young interviews Cesaro and Paul Heyman. Heyman makes it clear Cesaro will fight at the battle royal at Battleground, even though it's obvious he's trying to weasel him out of a match tonight.

Sheamus will defend the WWE United States Championship against Alberto Del Rio this Friday on SmackDown!

Dolph Ziggler, Big E and Rob Van Dam beat Rybaxel (Curtis Axel and Ryback) and Cesaro.

Layin' da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for May 23, 2014

Jimmy Hart and Hulk Hogan are here in London! Hogan shows his appreciation for the crowd, then hawks WWE Network and Legends House, despite the Network not being available there.

Batista beats Dolph Ziggler in a no-disqualification match, then attacks him afterwards.

The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat Nikki Bella and Eva Marie after a fast count from crooked special guest referee Summer Rae, who obviously has something against Eva Marie for some reason.

Bo Dallas beats Sin Cara in his main roster debut. After a victory lap around the ring, he helps Sin Cara up.

The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) are in the ring. Wyatt plans to "eradicate the Cena virus" at Payback and make the Cenation crumble.

Paul Heyman and Cesaro guest on commentary for the next match.

Cesaro attacks Sheamus outside of the ring as Sheamus takes on Alberto Del Rio. After laying Sheamus out, Cesaro shakes his hand as Sheamus lays there.

Vickie Guerrero is in the ring. She says she knows how to party, and introduces Adam Rose. When the crowd tells Rose she's a lemon, Vickie Guerrero tells her to get out. Adam Rose tricks Vickie into falling off the apron, and the Exotic Express carries her away.

Renee Young interviews The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). They plan to beat the Wyatts tonight with John Cena in their corner and prove that actions are louder than words.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) is thrown out thanks to interference from Bray Wyatt, but John Cena jumps in and cleans house.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 1, 2013

John Cena starts off tonight's show in Washington, DC. He's ready to conquer The Rock, and he doesn't want to lose again. Cena says that The Rock will finally lose the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. He also has no intent of reverting the WWE title to its previous "spinner belt" incarnation, either, and hold it as proof of being better than Rocky.

Big Show, Sheamus and Randy Orton beat 3MB (Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre). The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) show up, congratulate them, and tell them to wait until WrestleMania when they'll lose.

Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger are in Washington, DC. They explain to us that America has become weak, and that Swagger will become the next World champion.

Matt Striker interviews Alberto Del Rio. He plans to do something about Jack Swagger at WrestleMania...and Zeb Colter tonight!

Dolph Ziggler beats Daniel Bryan thanks to AJ Lee's interference. Big E Langston obliterates D-Bry, but Kane saves the day...almost. When Kane tries to choke slam Big E, E breaks loose and obliterates Kane. AJ, Dolph and E stand over D-Bry and Kane with the tag team titles.

Shawn Michaels is here! The Heartbreak Kid aka "Mr. WrestleMania" is here for Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar. Triple H sshows up. Shawn Michaels tells Triple H that his opponent is different from HBK's. Undertaker may have respected HBK, but Lesnar doesn't give a damn about Triple H. Triple H thinks Shawn's trying to talk him out of it, but Michaels says he wants his friend to kick Lesnar's ass, and he'll be in his corner at WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar shows up with Paul Heyman. Heyman talks about how disappoiting Triple H will be at WrestleMania before saying that he is committing "professional suicide."

The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.

Wade Barrett beats Zack Ryder.

Santino Marella is back for the first time since Royal Rumble! He tells Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox that Vince McMahon is here and that he's in a foul mood...and that it's an April Fool's joke. Vickie Guerrero turns the joke around and puts Santino Marella in a match...and it's next!

Santino Marella finds out his opponent is "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry.

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry destroys Santino Marella in mere seconds. Ryback shows up, but Mark Henry has the mic and reminds him of the no-contact clause. Ryback grabs Santino, bumps Santino into him, then throws the poor guy into Mark Henry from inside the ring!

Matt Striker interviews CM Punk, who doesn't care about Paul Bearer's memory or the fact that he's disrespecting it. He wants to get in Undertaker's head and beat him at WrestleMania.

As Alberto Del Rio fights Zeb Colter, Jack Swagger goes after Ricardo Rodriguez! Colter grabs Ricardo's raised crutch, and Del Rio goes after Swagger. This gives Colter the time to strike Del Rio with the crutch. Swagger attacks Del Rio from behind, and both Swagger and Colter beat down Del Rio with two crutches.

The Rock enters the ring. He tells his fans he can feel the connection between them, and says Sunday will be about both the will of the people and the day The Rock will be triumphant once more. He also says he might just live here in Washington, DC, too.

Fandango shows up as Chris Jericho takes on Antonio Cesaro. He judges Jericho's moves with Dancing With The Stars-esque score cards. (I wish I was making this last part up.) The Double Axe Handle got a four and the Lionsault got a three. (I wish I was making that part up, too.) He then gets kicked for his trouble.

Chris Jericho beats Antonio Cesaro with the Walls of Jericho, and Fandango wastes no time punishing Jericho. Two refs can't stop Fandango from doing the immense amount of damage he does to Jericho.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) beat The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) with a surprise roll-up.

The Undertaker shows up and enters the ring. He plans to make CM Punk suffer at WrestleMania, as winning isn't enough. Suddently, two druids come out with lit torches as a chant can be heard around the entire arena. The two druids are followed by more, and they form a line on both sides of the entrance ramp as the chant goes on in silence. Paul Bearer shows up with the urn. Wait. Wrong Paul. It's Paul Heyman dressed like Paul Bearer. 'Taker goes after him, but then realized that one of the druids could be CM Punk. He looks for Punk, but Punk still gets the jump on himn and attacks him from behind. After smacking 'Taker with the urn, CM Punk opens the urn and pours Paul Bearer's ashes all over Undertaker.

Wednesday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for March 27, 2013

Daniel Bryan guests on commentary for the first match.

Before his match with Kane, Antonio Cesaro decides to bring culture back to "this cultureless society" by...yodeling.

AJ Lee's interference wasn't enough to stop Kane from beating Antonio Cesaro, as Daniel Bryan gets in her way.

It's official: The Miz takes on Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania!

Matt Striker interviews Sheamus, who now knows that he has to cooperate with Big Show if his team wants to win at WrestleMania.

Brodus Clay and Tensai have a team name: Tons of Funk!

Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes) make fun of Tons of Funk's (Brodus Clay and Tensai) size before introducing The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella).

Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) and The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) will take on The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) and Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes) in an eight man mixed tag team match at WrestleMania.

The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) beat The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) after Cody Rhodes proves a distraction.
