Generation NXT - NXT recap for December 6, 2017

We hear from General Manager William Regal at the start of the show. Due to the injuries suffered by Drew McIntyre, there will be four singles matches in the next few weeks. The winners of those matches will be in a Fatal 4-Way match, with the winner becoming the #1 contender to the NXT Championship. Two of these matches will happen tonight: Killian Dain vs. Trent Seven, and Kassius Ohno vs. a mystery opponent who will stand in for an injured Velveteen Dream.

Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega show up. Zelina says we are bearing witness to the beginning of a great championship reign, then demands the fans show respect for Andrade "Cien" Almas. Almas tells the fans he told them he would become NXT Champion, and now he is the champion. He mockingly apologizes for injuring Drew McIntyre, tells the next #1 contender that they will be the next to fall in Spanish, then brags about being champion again.

We see footage from earlier tonight where Lars Sullivan is interviewed. He admits Roderick Strong is a worthy opponent and is a handsome looking guy with a family, but that is not him. All he cares about is getting his hands on him in two weeks. He also plans to win the NXT Championship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and prove he is the Superstar he always knew that he was. He says that nothing will stop him, not even Strong or Andrade "Cien" Almas, and the title will be in his hands.

Killian Dain beats Trent Seven to continue to the NXT Championship #1 Contender's Fatal-4 Way Match.

We see The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly). Adam Cole says they would run this place, and after NXT TakeOver: War Games, they do. Next week, he faces Aleister Black. Aleister has run through the roster, but he has not run through him. He will prove that Black is not on his level. Kyle O'Reilly says that in two weeks, he and Bobby Fish will take on SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wulfe, Killian Dain) for the NXT Tag Team Championships. They have shocked the system, and after NXT TakeOver: War Games, they have taken the system over.

Sonya Deville beats Ruby Riott in a No Holds Barred Match with a Triangle Hold on the ropes.

We see footage from earlier, where Ember Moon says winning the NXT Women's Championship is a dream come true, and she plans to be the best Women's Champion ever. Suddenly, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce show up. Peyton wants a shot at the title as Ember didn't pin her. Ember Moon wants to know who will face her. Both of them want a shot. Ember Moon tells them to decide, then walks away. Peyton asks Billie to give her the first shot, and gets it. Billie asks Peyton to leave some for her.

In two weeks; Tyler Bate vs. Pete Dunne for the WWE United Kingdom Championship!

We see a vignette for a new Superstar coming soon. The O's in the word "soon" are replaced with spades.

Kassius Ohno's opponent is revealed to be Johnny Gargano.

Johnny Gargano beats Kassius Ohno with The Gargano Escape to continue to the NXT Championship #1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way Match. Both men show respect after the match.
