Tribute To The Troops 2017 - The Recap

Lilian Garcia sings "The Star Spangled Banner" to start Tribute To The Troops.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Samoa Joe, Sheamus and Cesaro. After the match, Roman says The Shield brings the fight, but the United States military brings the big fight. Seth takes a moment to thank the troops for their sacrifice, dedication and all they do to keep America safe. Dean Ambrose says the military are the backbone of the nation, and he thanks them. Seth says The Shield is the most dominant force in the WWE, but the military are the most dominant in the entire world. Roman says "You can believe that!"



We hear from Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Laura Dern, Oscar Isaac and Mark Hamill from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, who thank the United States armed forces.



Charlotte Flair beats Ruby Riott and Carmella in a Triple Threat Match with a Figure Eight to Carmella. After the match, Charlotte talks about how she met a few members of the military before tonight's show, and says she was inspired by the independent women of the military. She calls them the true champions.



We see footage of WWE Superstars meeting some of the troops at Naval Base San Diego.



We hear from the cast of Pitch Perfect 3, who thank the troops.



We hear from John Myles and Stephen Colbert, who thank the troops.



Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha perform "Home."



Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, Mel Gibson and John Lithgow of Daddy's Home 2 thank the troops.

Sgt. Slaughter and KFC thank the United States military, but Dolph Ziggler - as the Colonel - want to do the thanking. Suddenly, The Miz shows up and wants to do the thanking. Slaughter says he only plays on. Mark Henry shows up and tells Miz and Dolph to show respect. Sgt.
