Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 7, 2021

It is announced that John Skyler has beaten "Outlandish" Zicky Dice to advance in the Digital Media Championship Tournament after grabbing the tights during a roll-up, which is ironic as Dice tried to win the same way only to get caught by the referee while Skyler did not. During the match, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) are seen watching the match from backstage.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander. Alexander says that normally, tagging with Christian Cage would be an honor and a privilege, but they have to face each other for the Impact World Championship. He says he has studied Christian Cage's career and that he is the wild card in this situation, and that he will take down Madman Fulton and Ace Austin and show Christian Cage exactly who he is taking on at Bound For Glory.

Heath heads to the ring. Heath says he has been out for a year and says everybody has had a bad year. He says that last year, he came ready to wrestle and get his Impact Wrestling contract, but the rug was pulled out from underneath him. He thanks his family for being there for him, but what really makes him sad is that he lost his best friend Rhino, who was there for him for a month but then went off the radar. He says he knows that this Rhino is not the man he knows and says that the abuse Eric Young and Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner) is putting him through is pissing him off, then says he is here to call Rhino out so that they can talk. He gets Eric Young, Joe Doering and Deaner instead, and Eric Young says the Rhino that Heath knows is gone because he got rid of him and made him better, stronger and "more pure." Eric Young asks how many more times they have to get rid of him, then says that Heath does not get to speak to Rhino anymore and that only he speaks to him, saying Rhino belongs to him as Violent By Design gets in the ring. Heath says Rhino belongs to nobody, but Eric Young says that Rhino as he knows him is gone forever before commanding Heath to lower his eyes and leave the ring. Heath says he holds his head down for nobody and he will be damned if he walks out. Eric Young says that Heath will either leave or force Violent By Design's hand, and Heath asks "Well, who wants to try me?" before fighting the whole group only to be levelled by Joe Doering. Doering and Deaner hold Heath back so that Eric Young punches him, then Eric says Rhino is not coming back. Zicky and Manny have no idea that Myers has a bus.

Suddenly, Alisha Edwards shows up and attacks both Kimber Lee and Brandi Lauren with a Kendo stick, and security guards have to hold her back.

Tenille Dashwood becomes heavily censored, then Rosemary asks Tenille Dashwood if she is feeling lucky. The Influence dismiss Rosemary and Havok, but Rosemary refuses to budge and continues to freak Madison and Tenille out to the point that they run away.

We hear from Moose and W. Morrissey. Moose says the hero does not always save the day and that sometimes he gets sent to the hospital just like Sami Callihan. Morrissey says what is going on between him and Moose is an alliance, not a friendship. Moose says they will take that alliance to the Call Your Shot Gauntlet when they dominate and become the last two men standing and fight each other over who gets to call their shot.

Steve Maclin beats "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams and Black Taurus to advance in the X Division Championship Tournament.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Christian Cage. Christian says he has done a lot in tag team wrestling in his time, and that while Madman Fulton and Ace Austin are the real deal, he knows how tonight will go. He says that "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander has the chance to scout him only to find out he is not in his realm, and tells Josh to keep his emotions in check tonight. Christopher Daniels then shows up and tells Christian that he is back in Impact to right the wrongs of his past and get the World Championship, which he never held. Christopher Daniels says he wanted to mention this man-to-man and says he wants to challenge Christian for the Impact World Championship, regardless of whether it is in All Elite Wrestling or Impact, and tells him to think about it.

At Swinger's Palace, Johnny Swinger laments the closing of his casino. Hernandez reveals that he has a poster of Dixie Carter. Fallah Bahh shows up and mentions that supplies were bought with his money and that Swinger got what he deserved. Swinger then finds out that they have a "Jeff Jarrett: King Of The Mountain" poster.

Rich Swann and Willie Mack beat "Outlandish" Zicky Dice and Manny Lemons. After the match, Sam Beale and VSK attack Swann and Willie as Brian Myers watches, and Myers then hits Willie Mack with the Roster Cut before VSK takes out Rich Swann.

Backstage, Mickie James attacks Deonna Purrazzo in a conference room, and Purrazzo and Mickie have to be held back. Scott D'Amore says Purrazzo is being reprimanded, and implements a no-contact clause before their match. If Mickie violates it, she loses her title shot; if Purrazzo violates it, she is stripped of the Knockouts Championship. Gail Kim also makes a Pick Your Poison match for both Mickie and Purrazzo where they pick opponents for each other for Knockouts Knockdown prior to their Knockouts title match. Rachael says this is all on her, and that she wants their tag team title reign to be the start of their journey, not the end. She says that she would love to keep teaming with Jordynne, but she does not know if Jordynne wants the same thing. Sami says that ever since Kenny Omega showed up in Impact, all he has been seeing is "a bunch of bullcrap," which is why The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) cost him the match at Under Siege, for they are afraid of him. He says that one can plan for a guy like Moose or Rich Swann, but that one cannot plan for a guy like him, and says Don Callis will do everything in his power to keep Omega away from him because he is scared and knows what will happen if Omega gets in the ring with him. Sami then calls out Kenny Omega, but gets Moose instead. Moose says that Sami is doing a lot of complaining, then says nobody cares, because the last time he checked, Sami is not the #1 contender for the Impact World Championship and did not beat five other men at Under Siege. He then tells Sami to stay out of his business, because Kenny Omega is his business until Against All Odds, and when he beats Kenny Omega to become Impact World Championship, Sami can continue to complain so he can beat him too. Sami says Moose should find it suspicious The Good Brothers are attacking him and not Moose, because Don Callis knows he is unsafe and dangerous. Suddenly, The Good Brothers show up. Anderson asks Sami if he will blame them for not catching a fish or his wife divorcing him while saying he and Gallows are tired of being blamed for things, and Gallows tells Sami to stay out of Kenny Omega's and Moose's business, for they are on Moose's side. Moose says The Good Brothers may be on his side, but he is not on theirs, and attacks Gallows when he wraps his arm around his shoulder. Sami joins Moose in cleaning house. He says that when he was at his lowest point, nobody wanted to contact him and everyone laughed at him, and when he came back, everybody acted like they were happy to see him again to try to be friends with him because he is doing great. On the subject of Rich Swann and Willie Mack, Morrissey says they are not friends, and that Swann is only looking to boost his ego and that Swann and Mack are the same as everyone else who laughed at him. Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Rhino) heads to the ring. Eric Young says that violence may be scary, unpredictable and chaotic for some, but to them, it is a tool, a vehicle and a well-lit path from where they are to where they want to go. He says he needed like-minded people with their eyes open who knew that the disease needed to be obliterated, and that he picked Joe Doering because he cut his own path of violence. As for Deaner, he found him when he was sick and at his lowest, and he opened his eyes and showed him the truth when he had no drive or motivation and allowed him to be "his pure self" and his most diabolical, violent, righteous and perfect version of himself. He then says that Rhino was sick, weak and a shadow of his former self until he opened his eyes and brought back "the war machine" with the most violent instincts in the business and a Call Your Shot trophy that they waited to use, and says it was all by design. He says that Juice Robinson and David Finlay are back in Japan and cannot get a rematch, then says that Violent By Design have come back more pure and more violent than before, and that the wrestling world will belong to them. Suddenly, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Satoshi Kojima of New Japan Pro Wrestling fame shows up. Satoshi Kojima stares down Joe Doering and says "Against All Odds," then leaves the ring.

Sam Beale shows up and unintentionally interrupts, then Brian Myers looks at him and tells him that while he could slap the tattoos off of his body, he will show him how to be a professional.

Backstage, Joe Doering accepts Satoshi Kojima's challenge. Suddenly, Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) show up, and when Deaner tells them not to interrupt, Steve tells Deaner he is in Eric Young's shadow. As Deaner says that he has never seen more clearly and that he is in his purest form while calling Steve is a "sick freak clown," it is the clever ones who play the fool and that the foolish ones "do not see him" for it.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) beat Johnny Swinger and Hernandez.

Backstage, Don Callis talks with The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson), saying they are family while Moose and Sami Callihan cannot stand each other and that they should have no problem winning.
