At a nearby bar, Taya Valkyrie is so drunk and despondent over losing the Knockouts Championship - among other things - that Rosemary has to show up and tell Taya to show up, saying that she has it even worse. After Taya says that she has lost everything, Rosemary tells her that she has lost everything as well, and says that it is after you have lost everything that you are free to do anything, and it should be cause for celebration, not mourning. Taya likes this idea, and proposes the idea of a party.

She says that tonight feels special and that history will be made, and when people look back on tonight, they will see it as the night when two women stood across from each other for the first time for the World Championship. Suddenly, Eddie Edwards shows up and says he has respect for her, and it is because of that respect for her that he is letting her know that he will be waiting if she retains tonight, for when he beats Michael Elgin and retains the Shoot Your Shot Trophy, he will be calling his shot for the World title at Rebellion. Tessa tells Eddie that she hopes to see him there, then they tap the Women's title and the Shoot Your Shot Trophy together.

As Hogan takes exception to this, one of the women (who is independent wrestler Lacey Ryan) gets in Hogan's face. She ends up "winning" boot camp while everyone else leaves, including Hogan.

Scott D'Amore decides not to sign anybody from last week.

Backstage, Gabi Loren interviews Taya Valkyrie, who tells Tessa Blanchard that she has somehow convinced the wrestling world that she is the best in the world, and while she is World Champion, she sees right through her. She calls Tessa "selfish" and a "master manipulator" who has gotten the fans drunk on her Kool-Aid and says that she is the only sober person here. Taya then says Tessa's fairy tale is over, and the bad guy wins, with the bad guy being her.

Tessa Blanchard retains the Impact World Championship against Taya Valkyrie after John E. Bravo's distraction backfires.
