Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 10, 2020

Rhino beats Madman Fulton. After the match, Jake and Dave Crist run into the ring to attack Rhino, then the lights go out. When they come back on, Sabu is in the ring, and he fends off the Crist brothers. Fulton tries to choke slam him, but Sabu fends him off with help from Super Genie.

"The Ultimate Finesser" Chris Bey is coming next week!

Backstage, Gabi Loren interviews Tessa Blanchard, who says that she has always wanted to be world champion and now has a target on her back. She is not sure who her next challenge, but she is watching to find out. She says it does not matter if she faces Eddie Edwards or Michael Elgin, as she will beat them and walk out World Champion.

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) beat The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Mahabali Shera).

Backstage, Katie Forbes complains about fans trashing her for her looks and tosses a piece of her wrestling gear in the trash. Cody Deaner compliments Katie on her looks afterwards, but Joey Ryan shows up and confronts The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) for this, and challenges The Deaners to a match next week, which The Deaners accept. After The Deaners leave, Ryan tells Rob Van Dam they've got this.

We see another black-and-white vignette for Tenille Dashwood, which says "Dare to live the life you've always wanted."

Before the next match, Madison Rayne shows up and says that Jordynne Grace's fifteen minutes of fame and Knockouts title reign are over, and introduces Lacey Ryan as the woman who is about to dethrone her.

Jordynne Grace retains the Impact Knockouts Championship against Lacey Ryan.

Backstage, Fallah Bahh entertains the idea of himself and TJP being the first Filipino world tag team champions, and says that family will be watching when they take on The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander). TJP says that all he heard is "first Filipino world tag team champions," and that they've got this match.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is the Ultimate X Match from January 7, 2004.

Backstage, Gabi Loren interviews Chris Sabin. Sabin says that home is where is the heart is and that is why he is back in Impact Wrestling, and he announces that he will be the special guest referee for the King of the Mountain Match at TNA: There's No Place Like Home. Moose shows up and says that his services will no longer be needed when he wins the World title, but Sabin has to school him on what the rules for a King of the Mountain Match is, which drives Moose nuts.

We see a video package for the last match of Eddie Edwards and Michael Elgin's final match in their best of five series.

At a nearby bar, Taya Valkyrie is so drunk and despondent over losing the Knockouts Championship - among other things - that Rosemary has to show up and tell Taya to show up, saying that she has it even worse. After Taya says that she has lost everything, Rosemary tells her that she has lost everything as well, and says that it is after you have lost everything that you are free to do anything, and it should be cause for celebration, not mourning. Taya likes this idea, and proposes the idea of a party.

Willie Mack beats Johnny Swinger and Glenn Gilberti. During the match, Ace Austin shows up to be Willie Mack's impromptu tag team partner, and the two men end up working together to beat Swinger and Gilberti, much to the confusion of Willie Mack.

Backstage, Havok hunts for Su Yung, but Su Yung gets on top of her with a noose and nearly chokes her out. Havok goes for a steel chair, but both women have a steel chair war. Su Yung gets the upper hand, and goes for the bloody glove in an attempt to put Havok in the coffin. Havok tries to choke out Su Yung with the noose, but Su Yung ends up getting Havok in the coffin after applying the Mandible Claw.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger blames Glenn Gilberti for their loss tonight, and Glenn Gilberti ends up quitting their team.

We see another edition of Gut Check. The field has been cut from seven people to six, and the six people that are left are placed in a six-man tag team match. Afterwards, John E. Bravo asks Scott D'Amore which two men he will pick.

The fifth and final match in Eddie Edwards and Michael Elgin's best of five series ends with controversy...almost. Elgin has Eddie in the crossface, but as Eddie rolls back and pins Elgin's shoulders to the mat, Eddie still taps to the hold. After the match, Tessa Blanchard shows up as Scott D'Amore is talking with three referees and says she will face both Eddie and Elgin at Rebellion.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
