Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for May 27, 2021

We hear from Sam Beale, who says that being in Impact Wrestling is awesome and that he is taking his opportunity by storm. Eddie Edwards shows up and tells Sam to keep up the good work, and Sam Beale shows interest in having a match with him. Eddie tells him to be careful what he wishes for.

Eddie Edwards beats Sam Beale in the pre-show match.

We hear from Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Rhino). Eric Young says that last week, change came to pass and it was violent, and this week, they will show that it was by design.

Sami Callihan heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Sami says that ever since Kenny Omega showed up in Impact, all he has been seeing is "a bunch of bullcrap," which is why The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) cost him the match at Under Siege, for they are afraid of him. He says that one can plan for a guy like Moose or Rich Swann, but that one cannot plan for a guy like him, and says Don Callis will do everything in his power to keep Omega away from him because he is scared and knows what will happen if Omega gets in the ring with him. Sami then calls out Kenny Omega, but gets Moose instead. Moose says that Sami is doing a lot of complaining, then says nobody cares, because the last time he checked, Sami is not the #1 contender for the Impact World Championship and did not beat five other men at Under Siege. He then tells Sami to stay out of his business, because Kenny Omega is his business until Against All Odds, and when he beats Kenny Omega to become Impact World Championship, Sami can continue to complain so he can beat him too. Sami says Moose should find it suspicious The Good Brothers are attacking him and not Moose, because Don Callis knows he is unsafe and dangerous. Suddenly, The Good Brothers show up. Anderson asks Sami if he will blame them for not catching a fish or his wife divorcing him while saying he and Gallows are tired of being blamed for things, and Gallows tells Sami to stay out of Kenny Omega's and Moose's business, for they are on Moose's side. Moose says The Good Brothers may be on his side, but he is not on theirs, and attacks Gallows when he wraps his arm around his shoulder. Sami joins Moose in cleaning house. Backstage, Don Callis meets with The Good Brothers, who gives them a match against Moose and Sami Callihan.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Don Callis, who says that The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) vs. Moose and Sami Callihan is official due to his being Executive Vice President of Impact, then Scott D'Amore shows up. Scott D'Amore is shocked that Callis would make a match without telling him, but Callis is more concerned about meeting with Kenny Omega.

TJP and Fallah Bahh beat "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews W. Morrissey. Morrissey says that says all he cares about is other people hearing what he has to say, and that he has a realistic view of the wrestling business, as people kicked him while he was down and fans made fun of his pain. He says that when he was at his lowest point, nobody wanted to contact him and everyone laughed at him, and when he came back, everybody acted like they were happy to see him again to try to be friends with him because he is doing great. On the subject of Rich Swann and Willie Mack, Morrissey says they are not friends, and that Swann is only looking to boost his ego and that Swann and Mack are the same as everyone else who laughed at him. W. Morrissey then looks at the camera and says "Who's laughing now?" before he is suddenly superkicked by Rich Swann. Security has to jump in to separate both men.

We see a video package for the Knockouts division.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Rachael Ellering, Tenille Dash wood, Rosemary and Havok. Rosemary says they will show no mercy and leave no survivor. When asked where Taylor Wilde is, Tenille and Kaleb do not know and have the feeling she will not make it. Rachael Ellering offers to replace Taylor Wilde with Jordynne Grace, and as Tenille is reluctant, Jordynne Grace shows up unhappy with being a "substitute." Rachael Ellering says she will fit in, but Jordynne reluctantly goes with it.

Rachael Ellering, Jordynne Grace, Havok, Tenille Dashwood and Rosemary beat Fire 'n Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz), Susan, Kimber Lee, and Deonna Purrazzo in a ten-Knockout tag team match.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the week is Bobby Roode vs. Eric Young from January 12, 2016.

Backstage, "The Wealking Weapon" Josh Alexander admits that TJP beat him tonight, then says that everyone is gunning for the X Division Championship. TJP and Fallah Bahh show up, and TJP wants a shot at the X Division Championship. As Alexander says that he has always won between them with the X Division Championship on the line, Scott D'Amore shows up and makes next week's pre-show match a 60-minute Iron Man Match for the title.

We see a video package where Jake Something and Rohit Raju talk about their history with each other, followed by Jake Something and Rohit Raju hating each other. Jake Something thinks Rohit Raju's mind has been warped, while Rohit Raju feels that Jake has been catered to while his talent has been swept under the rug. Both of them make it clear they want to win their tables match.

Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Rhino) heads to the ring. Eric Young says that violence may be scary, unpredictable and chaotic for some, but to them, it is a tool, a vehicle and a well-lit path from where they are to where they want to go. He says he needed like-minded people with their eyes open who knew that the disease needed to be obliterated, and that he picked Joe Doering because he cut his own path of violence. As for Deaner, he found him when he was sick and at his lowest, and he opened his eyes and showed him the truth when he had no drive or motivation and allowed him to be "his pure self" and his most diabolical, violent, righteous and perfect version of himself. He then says that Rhino was sick, weak and a shadow of his former self until he opened his eyes and brought back "the war machine" with the most violent instincts in the business and a Call Your Shot trophy that they waited to use, and says it was all by design. He says that Juice Robinson and David Finlay are back in Japan and cannot get a rematch, then says that Violent By Design have come back more pure and more violent than before, and that the wrestling world will belong to them. Suddenly, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Satoshi Kojima of New Japan Pro Wrestling fame shows up. Satoshi Kojima stares down Joe Doering and says "Against All Odds," then leaves the ring.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Dr. Ross, who says that Matt Cardona has a fractured orbital bone and should be out of action for twelve weeks. Brian Myers then says weeks is not enough and wants to destroy Matt Cardona for good. Sam Beale shows up and unintentionally interrupts, then Brian Myers looks at him and tells him that while he could slap the tattoos off of his body, he will show him how to be a professional.

Backstage, Joe Doering accepts Satoshi Kojima's challenge. Suddenly, Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) show up, and when Deaner tells them not to interrupt, Steve tells Deaner he is in Eric Young's shadow. As Deaner says that he has never seen more clearly and that he is in his purest form while calling Steve is a "sick freak clown," it is the clever ones who play the fool and that the foolish ones "do not see him" for it.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) beat Johnny Swinger and Hernandez.

Backstage, Don Callis talks with The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson), saying they are family while Moose and Sami Callihan cannot stand each other and that they should have no problem winning.

The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) beat Moose and Sami Callihan after Moose and Sami refuses to get along when Sami tags in as Moose is about to hit the Lights Out. Moose pump kicks Sami, and when Sami kicks out of a schoolkid pin, he hits Moose with a pump kick of his own. After the match, Moose hits Sami with the Lights Out.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
